Explosive Article: The Pentagon Bio-Weapons

MERS-CoV is one of the viruses that have been engineered by the US and studied by the Pentagon, as well as Influenza and SARS. Confirmation of this practice is Obama’s 2014 temporary ban on government funding for such “dual-use” research. The moratorium was lifted in 2017 and experiments have continued. Enhanced Potential Pandemic Pathogens (PPPs) experiments are legal in the US.

After 15 years of repudiating claims that the invasion of Iraq was only initiated to seize Iraqi resources, large oil corporations fronted by former architects of the war who vacated to the private sector are flagrantly advertising their contracts for exploration and production of Iraqi oil fields to potential investors.

The British oil and gas company BP won the contract to operate the Rumaila Oil Field back in 2009, and now proudly boast of its new drilling capabilities on Twitter. Rumaila is simply huge; by some measures it is the third largest reserve of crude oil on the planet, and is currently extracting 100 million dollars worth of oil every day – enough to cover the annual health budget of Iraq under the wartime rule of the US coalition every five days.

Webmaster's Commentary:

So now, it can be honestly shouted from the rooftops; one of the biggest winners in the war against Iraq is... BRITISH PETROLEUM!!

Funny; I don't remember the Butchers of Baghdad (that unholy triumverate of Bush, Cheney, and Rumsfeld) saying anything about the ultimate winners of the Iraq war being the large petroleum companies who would profit by a takeover of the Iraqi oil fields, or how the US would benefit from that oil only being sold in US dollars.

To the young men and women who enlisted shortly after 9/11, and thought that a war against Iraq would be the perfect revenge; you were decieved with every piece of nationalistic codswallop the US government threw at you, and you swallowed all of them whole.

This war was not about honor, courage, or preserving and defending "the American way of life", whatever that is supposed to be; it was about the money to be made from Iraq's oil reserves, and the reality that the oil would only be sold in US dollars.

Of course, the US warmongering politicians, who benefit greatly from their relationships with America's military/industrial complex, attending memorials for one of our fallen, can never tell the truth as to why this war was initiated in the first place; so they simply reguritate the lies which stand as "cover" for the ugly truth that all wars, including the Iraq war, are truly economic in their origin.

At this moment in time, we stand on a precipice of yet another world war, most likely to be initiated by the American Deep State.

To those young people of draft age, if in fact you have dual citizenship in a country not on the US's invasion route (somewhere maybe like Switzerland, Australia, or Monaco) perhaps heading to those places, and hunkering down there, might not be a bad idea at the moment. And I say that because were I a betting person, I would not bet against the draft being reinstituted in this country, and relatively quickly.

The US government understands that the economy in this country is about to crash, so it desperately needs a war, regional or world-wide, to deflect American attention from the real economic mess into which it has placed all but the most elite, and most monied.

The potential scenarios for conflict are everywhere, and I will mention the most obvious here.

1. The US military is establishing a 30,000 troop strong "buffer zone" for the Kurds in Syria. The Syrian and Russian government are screaming at the US to stand down... or else. And this gets complicated because Turkey's Edrogan has threatened, and appears to be readying, an invasion Syria, to prevent that from happening. So you have NATO allies, potentially the US and Turkey, at each other's throats, militarily.

The longer the US stays inside Syria, the more likely a hot conflict with Russia over this illegal invasion of Syria by the US military.

2. North Korea/China. Even though North and South Korea appear to be making splendid progress in recent negotiations toward peace, expect the US to scupper what it can, in terms of creating a war between North Korea, China, and the US. Statements as recently as yesterday, indicate that the US government is terrified of peace breaking out here, with President Trump making the observation that it is possible that these negotiations will not lead to a denuclearization of the North Korean Penninsula, and Tillerson's observation that the US will not honor the "freeze for freeze" concept, presented by Russia and China.

3. Russia/Iran. I have already mentioned the possibility of war over Syria between Russia and the United States, but there are many other potential flashpoints, Ukraine being a very likely scenario. But should the US/Saudi Arabia/Israel attack Tehran, in order to bring regime change there, it should reasonably expect Russia to defend Iran militarily. And we have seen, in Syria, that Russia does have military hardware which works spectacularly well, and countries around the world have been making a beeline to Moscow to acquire these weapons.

4. China/India: there are still massive geopolitical problems here, and both countries are nuclear armed. In a conflict between China and India, the US government has thrown its hat in the ring with India, with an enhanced "security agreement" put into effect by the Obama administration.

5. India/Pakistan: Again, both countries are nuclear armed, and have been threatening each other with nuclear war. Recently, the US government withdrew financial aid to Pakistan. And, as mentioned in an earlier post today, India just tested a nuclear-capable missile, the "jewel in the crown", if you will, of their ICBMs.

So please remember, when the propaganda starts getting spread hard and thick by the presstitutes, as a "justification" for war, any war, please remember; wars are about the rich (and the bankers) getting richer, and the "grunts" being completely expendable, through death or massive injury, after having done what they were tasked to do. All wars are mass murders toward those ends, period, end of discussion, wrapped in a pretty, cheap little flag.

And "patriotism" is the pathological disability to see beyond the propaganda, and to deconstruct the real agendas of war, which are always engineered to bring more money and profits for the already monied and profitable.

India tests-fires Agni-V, a nuclear-capable ICBM

India has successfully test-fired a long-range intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM), the country's Defense Ministry said Thursday.

The nuclear-capable Agni-V is believe to be India's most advanced ICBM. It was fired Thursday morning India time from Abdul Kalam island off the coast of the eastern state of Odisha, the ministry said in a tweet.

It called the test a "major boost" to the country's defense capabilities.

Russia Begins Massive ICBM Launch Drills

On Monday, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation issued a warning to NATO that is has started a massive missile drill involving truck-mounted intercontinental ballistic missile launchers across the country.

The Defense Ministry said the drills would involve “missile regiments armed with Topol-M and Yars mobile systems.” The Topol-M is designed to launch an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) tipped with a single 550 kT yield nuclear warhead. Max range of the ICBM is 6,500 miles, which the mobile launching unit is extremely tough for NATO to track.

Webmaster's Commentary:

With all the potential for conflict with NATO, and/or the US goverment, raging from Eastern Europe to the 'Stans, North Korea and Syria, the timing of these drills is an warning here in and of itself.

Hawaii’s ballistic missile attack on Saturday turned out to be nothing more than fat-fingered "fake news" by State officials. However, a far more significant threat of nuclear war is growing on the border between India and Pakistan, called the Line of Control (LoC), which continues to be generally ignored by Western media outlets.

An all-out nuclear war between Russia and the United States would be the worst catastrophe in history, a tragedy so huge it is difficult to comprehend. Even so, it would be far from the end of human life on earth. The dangers from nuclear weapons have been distorted and exaggerated, for varied reasons. These exaggerations have become demoralizing myths, believed by millions of Americans.

Paul Craig Roberts: Another Step Toward Armageddon

The US military/security complex has taken another step toward Armageddon. The Pentagon has prepared a nuclear posture review (NPR) that gives the OK to development of smaller “useable” nuclear weapons and permits their use in response to a non-nuclear attack.

As Reagan and Gorbachev understood, but the warmongers who have taken over America do not, there are far too many nuclear weapons already. Some scientists have concluded that even the use of 10 percent of either the US or Russian arsenal would suffice to destroy life on earth.

It is reckless and irresponsible for Washington to make such a decision in the wake of years of aggressive actions taken against Russia.>>>

Trump’s new nuke ‘posture’: Draft allows nuclear response to conventional attack and new warheads

The Trump administration is expected to reveal a new, hawkish nuclear doctrine, which reportedly incorporates more cases in which it would use nuclear weapons, and also mandates the development of smaller-yield, simpler warheads.

The new Nuclear Posture Review (NPR) is expected to be revealed sometime after President Donald Trump’s state-of-the-union address in late January and will be the first update of the key strategy document in eight years.

According to Jon Wolfsthal, a former special assistant to Barack Obama on arms control and non-proliferation, the final draft that he reviewed is pretty hawkish, but some of the more aggressive suggestions from the initial variant have been dropped. Wolfsthal described the document to The Guardian.

A Different Strategy For A Different Ambition

I have just read through the new United States National Security Strategy released by President Trump in December 2017. There have been many comments on it most of them focusing on the hostility in the document towards Russia and China but also some question of what the Strategy is. Well, after reading page after page of delusions, bombast, bragging, bullying, lies, fantasies and deep-seated megalomania, you discover that there is no strategy. They don’t have one. The only use that document has is as irrefutable evidence that the government of the United States is what they like to call a Joint Criminal Enterprise intent on seizing control of the world for its sole interests. Fortunately, they have, apparently, no idea how they are going to achieve that goal except through war, war, and more war, and if that doesn’t work some more war until they collapse from exhaustion, like a mad, rabid dog.

The Unexpected Return of 'Duck and Cover'

Sixty years ago, in 1951, Ray Maurer and Anthony Rizzo produced a film for the federal government's Civil Defense agency in response to Soviet nuclear tests. Featuring an animated turtle named Bert and real-life schoolchildren from New York, the film, Duck and Cover, became an icon of the Cold War, seen by many as evidence of the absurdity of the government's response to the nuclear threat. Against the threat of a nuclear attack, how much good would diving under a desk really do? Originally aimed at teaching children how to respond to a surprise nuclear strike, by the 1980s Duck and Cover was a piece of 1950s kitsch, mocked in such anti-nuclear films as The Atomic Cafe.

The CDC is warning Americans to prepare for nuclear war.

If you’ve been watching the news for years the way many of us have, you probably know that by the time the government starts warning you about something, it’s just about to happen.

For example, you may recall the Ebola scare back in 2014. First, the CDC released a warning on Sept. 15th, then just two weeks later, the first case in the US was confirmed in Texas. It wasn’t by any great master planning that it didn’t turn into a massive epidemic through a series of terrifying errors. It was sheer dumb luck.

If I were President of the United States, this is how I would deal with Kim Jong-un and the North Korean situation.

Anyone saying that another world war can't happen, hasn't understood the problem of the present global instability in its fullest sense. While the US has certainly faced deadlock with Russia over Ukraine, and loss of power and influence in the Middle-East, the coming year presents us a few items which have the serious potential to push global instability to the point of world war.

Outside of the echo chamber of the US media's insulated creation of simulated reality, where pushing for war and conflict doesn't actually lead to one, serious experts point to some very worrisome signs for the coming year.

America's own-goal nuclear holocaust: How hundred above-ground Nevada A-bomb tests during the 1950s exposed MILLIONS to 'tremendous' amounts of radiation and may have killed up to 695,000

Beginning in the 1950s, the US government conducted hundreds of atomic weapons tests at a remote site in Nevada, in efforts to ramp up nuclear capabilities amid building Cold War tensions.

But, nuclear fallout from reckless experiments prior to 1963 had grave and unintended consequences – and, new research reveals they may have been far more extreme than ever suspected.

Above-ground tests on US soil left millions of Americans exposed to ‘tremendous’ amounts of radioactive pollution, which made its way into the environment and the food supply, leading to as many as 695,000 deaths from 1951-1973.

The shocking new research suggests the total number of excess deaths was ‘comparable to the bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki.’

US Naval Blockade Would Be ‘Act of War,’ North Korea Warns

With no real possibility that US sanctions against North Korea will have any real teeth, since the US doesn’t have any trade or diplomatic ties to start with, the struggle to figure out what the US could conceivably do to North Korea has mostly centered on military attacks.

But there are other acts of war possible, and some in the US seem to be advocating a naval blockade of the whole of North Korea, figuring that would be one way to ensure that there’s literally no trade possible.

Blockading an entire country that size would be no msall task, despite the large amounts of US naval assets in the area. That North Korea also has direct links to both China and Russia, their main trading partners, also limits what a blockade could really do, beyond being a declaration of war.

WW3 Alert: US And China Preparing For ‘All Hell To Break Loose’ On Korean Peninsula

The United States and China are preparing for a situation in which all hell breaks loose on the Korean Peninsula. Both nations are taking unprecedented steps as tensions toward a nuclear war ramp up even more.

The US has stepped up military drills, practiced air raids, and reportedly started preparing to seize North Korea’s nuclear weapons by force, a feat South Korea has declared won’t be all that easy. South Korean officials have been talking up a pause in military drills in hopes that it will lead to a peaceful Winter Olympics in February, but the US has yet to agree to halt said drills. Instead, the US brought in a record number of stealth aircraft this month to train up on an air war against North Korea. Immediately after the drill, which featured a marked increase in simulated bomb runs on North Korean targets, the US and South Korea reportedly engaged in drills to infiltrate North Korea and neutralize its weapons of mass destruction.

These Declassified Nuclear Test Videos PROVE That a Strike Is Survivable

While everyone is very concerned about North Korea's nuclear tests, these kinds of experiments are nothing new. In fact, hundreds of them took place right here in the United States between 1945-1962, and a series of declassified nuclear test videos have recently been restored and released.

With a world that appears to be actively preparing for nuclear war, I can't emphasize enough how vital it is to get prepared for the possibility of an attack.

Now, mainstream media outlets such as Reuters and USA Today are suddenly reporting that the United States and its close ally, Saudi Arabia, were instrumental in supplying weapons and ammunition to ISIS. Both reports cite an investigation conducted by Conflict Armament Research (CAR), which looked at 40,000 items recovered from Islamic State militants between July 2014 and November 2017.

A final report from CAR titled “Weapons of the Islamic State,” concluded that the vast majority of the weapons used by ISIS were supplied in the thousands, given their origin and the fact that they were found “in numbers far beyond those that would have been available to the group through battlefield capture alone.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

There you have it; the US government resorted to any and all means, including hired mercs, to bring down Bashar al Assad...and failed miserably, as Putin's military out-thought, out-maneuvered, and outdid ISIS on the battlefield.

DARPA Can Exterminate Humanity: ‘You Could Feasibly WIPE OUT The Human Race’

One of the most dangerous experiments that mankind has ever embarked upon is DARPA’s desire for gene drive technology. Scientists now have the knowledge and the tools they need to create and deliver “Doomsday genes” which can selectively target and exterminate an entire species.

According to Sputnik News, and as previously reported by SHTFPlan, the United States highly-secretive and advanced military research body DARPA (Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency) announced that it will invest tens of millions of dollars into genetic extinction research. While the official aim of this research is said to be fighting harmful insects, like mosquitos which carry Malaria, there are significantly darker implications and speculations surrounding the possible use of such a tool.

Webmaster's Commentary:

"Gene extinction research"?!?

Gee whillakers, what could possibly go wrong?!?

Except everything?!?

Chinese Navy Begins Live-Fire Drills Off Korean Peninsula

Earlier this week, Seoul asked the US to delay joint military exercises with Japan until after the Winter Olympics, ostensibly to avoid provoking North Korea ahead of the 2018 Winter Games. The timing of the request is suspicious - having coincided with Secretary of State Rex Tillerson’s announcement that the US has offered to begin talks with the North “without preconditions." While State Department spokesperson Heather Nauert walked back Tillerson’s statement the next day, insisting the North cease its weapons tests before talks can proceed, it is possible such a delay - if undertaken - could be construed as an opening gambit.

US drills in the region have stopped, though it’s unclear whether the US will abide by South Korea’s request. However, the brief lull in the area was interrupted Thursday when local media reported that China has decided to hold military drills of its own.

Webmaster's Commentary:

China, in this latest round of military exercises, seems to be indiacting that although it does not want to see war on the Korean Peninsula, it is not afraid to have to fight one, if an attacking country pushes North Korea and China to their limits of non-response.

Who Ya Gonna Fight? Landmark Treaty Signed To Create EU Army

EU leaders formerly endorsed the harmless sounding Permanent Structured Cooperation, or PESCO, pact on Thursday evening in Brussels. After the shock of Brexit, the goal of defence integration was revived by former military foes, Germany and France, supported by Italy and Spain, in a show of EU unity. A similar proposal was blocked by the French parliament in the 1950s (see below). Now a treaty has been signed which sees the defence union complete by 2025 in what has been described as “one of the most tangible steps in EU integration since Brexit”.

Britain, thanks to Brexit, Malta and Denmark, which has an “opt out” on EU defence issues did not sign the agreement. Standing in the front row on the left of the group photo was the President of the undemocratic European Commission, Jean Claude Juncker, who has been calling for an EU army for many years. In 2015, The Guardian reported.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Russia a threat?!?

All it wants to do, is have its corporations make money, and take care of its people! How in the name of Sam Hill can that be construed as a "threat"?!?!?

Growing Signs that U.S. Is Preparing to Wage War on North Korea. Trump Administration Scotches Suggestion of Talks with Pyongyang

Tillerson’s remarks to the Atlantic Council appear to be a last ditch attempt to start talks to try to prevent a conflict that could spiral out of control.

“It is not realistic to say we’re only going to talk if you come to the table ready to give up your [nuclear] program,” he said, contradicting the more aggressive stance taken by Trump.

With a note of desperation, Tillerson continued:

“We’re ready to have the first meeting without preconditions. Let’s just meet. We can talk about weather if you want. We can talk about whether there is gonna be a square table or a round table if that’s what you’re excited about. But can we at least sit down and see each other face to face.”

North Korea, however, is well aware that the US demands remain—to scrap its limited nuclear arsenal and abandon all related nuclear and missile programs. Moreover, such a step would involve an ever-more intrusive inspection prying into all aspects of its military and security apparatus.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Unfortunately, just because something is the most pig-headedly, ham-fistedly stupid thing the US government could possibly do, is utterly no guarantee that they won't do it.

A war against North Korea by the US government and military would be one of those moves, on a massive scale, and possibly the single biggest blunder the US government will have ever made, on an historic, and lethal level.

Remember; North Korea hasn't done anything to the United States yet. It has simply fired test missiles, as the US and other nuclear-armed countries do as a matter of course.

N. Korea: Trump taking dangerous step to nuclear war by seeking naval blockade

US President Donald Trump is taking an "extremely dangerous" and "big step" towards nuclear war by seeking a naval blockade, North Korea has stated, according to the official KCNA news agency.
Pyonyang also said it will take "merciless self-defensive" measures against any blockade, as it would consider such a move an "act of war." The North Korean government also believes any blockade would be a "wanton violation" of its sovereignty and dignity, KCNA reported, citing a foreign ministry spokesman.

US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson previously mentioned the "right to interdict maritime traffic transporting goods" to and from the North, following Pyongyang's latest intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) test on November 29.

Pyongyang also lashed out at the possible US move in a commentary on Sunday in the communist party newspaper Rodong Sinmun.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Secretary of State Tillerson, a word, please; your alleged "right to interdict maritime traffic transporting goods" to and from the North, will be considered, and rightly so, an act of war against North Korea; and then, where are we?!?

Committed to a foreign policy here of more death and destruction (because this country's military can), which is bound to tick off every country with which we still, for the moment, have relations?!?

THAT, sir, would be a completely, catastrophically wrong action here.

We have relations with nuclear-armed countries and are not consistently screaming about regime change in those countries, like Pakistan and India; why should North Korea be different, please tell me?!?

And Russia's President Putin is absolutely correct when he states that the only way North Korea knows it won't get attacked by the US, is to develop weapons as a deterrent to any kind of a military strike.

If you are looking at the world through the lens of North Korean geopolitics, this is the only thing which makes reasonable, logical sense; but unfortunately, it is US foreign policy, through the decades, which has made this their only course of action.

Iraq, Syria, Iran…Are We To Destroy Iran Next?

The Cato report linked above, The Risks of Confrontation with Iran, explains the four confrontation options. These are:

— New, tighter economic sanctions

–Challenging Iranian influence in the region

–Regime change from within

–Starting a war

The Cato conclusion is that America’s best policy option would be for further engagement with Iran to strengthen its more moderate political factions and weaken its hardliners. America used to be widely popular among younger Iranians who want peace and prosperity, not mullahs and wars. The greater threat is Washington’s military-industrial-Congress complex which so benefits from unending wars.

Webmaster's Commentary:

What the Cato Institute Report is advocating, is completely, utterly logical; this is why the American Deep State and warhawks will reject it out of hand.

And please remember: Should the US and Saudi Arabian military go to war against Iran, it is highly likely that the Russians will jump into the fray to protect it.

And as we have seen from Russia's grand finale in Syria, Russia has weapons which actually work as advertised.

A Wider World of War

All of this could be seen, however, not just as the foibles of one president surrounded by “his” generals, but as the culmination of a post-9/11 process in which American policymaking has increasingly been militarized. In this context, as the State Department shrinks, don’t think this country has no ambassadors across the planet. America’s Special Operations forces increasingly act as our “diplomats” globally, training and bolstering allies and attempting to undermine enemies more or less everywhere.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Bombed into famine: how Saudi air campaign targets Yemen’s food supplies

At 11.30pm, 10 nautical miles off Yemen’s western Red Sea coast, seven fishermen were near the end of the four hours it had taken to haul their nets bulging with the day’s catch into their fibreglass boat. Suddenly, away from the illumination of the vessel’s large spotlight, one of the men spotted a black silhouette coming towards them.

Moments later a helicopter began circling overhead. The fishermen were well within the 30 nautical mile boundary they had been warned not to cross by leaflets airdropped on land by the Saudi-led coalition. But, without warning, gunfire erupted from the helicopter.

Osam Mouafa grabbed his friend, Abdullah, dragging him into a corner, curling himself into a protective ball as bullets flew through the boat. Shot in both knees, with a third bullet having grazed his thigh, Osam began to feel water rising around him. “The boat became like a sieve,” he said, sitting next to the wooden stick he now needs to walk.

Webmaster's Commentary:

These are the kinds of war crimes the US government is enabling in Yemen, with the Saudi Arabian military and government; doesn't it just make you proud to be an American?!?

Take a good, hard look, my brother and sister Americans, at what this US military intervention in the Saudi genocide of Yemen, courtesy of the Butcher of Yemen, Prince Salman, has "accomplished": and I warn you; these images are intensely graphic, but very real.

Yemeni children killed or maimed for life from Saudi bombings

Images: Yemeni children dying of malnutrition, due to Saudi/US blockade of Yemeni ports

Images: Saudi troops using depleted uranium and chemical weapons in Yemen

Images: severely malformed Yemeni infants, the victims of DU poisoning in the womb (warning: very graphic)

What a "win" in this situation means, from the perspective of Prince Salman, is a complete assassination of every Yemeni person with the audacity to still be breathing.

And to that end, he has ordered more intense bombings than he has before.

Saudis Bomb Yemen Palace as War Takes New Turn With Saleh Death

When I was a kid growning up, I never realized that this country routinely participates in war crimes; now, I live with the grim realisation that this is true every, single waking hour.

Whether President Trump had a moment of conscience (which I doubt, as he has been chatting up the US selling of bombs to Saudi Arabia as, in essence, good for American business), or was attempting to "soften" the optics of announcing that the US recognised Jerusalem as Israel's capital when he requested the Saudis to cease the Yemeni blockade, Trump calls on Saudi government to end Yemeni blockade that request fell on deaf ears.

Unless, and until, there is ia political resolution here, Yemen's future will be more assassinations; more starvation; more disease; more displacement of innocent civilians; and continued Saudi and US military destruction and devastation visited upon that country in unimaginable proportions.

Iran: US Presentation of Iranian Arms in Yemen Fabricated

The Iranian government has issued a statement Thuesday denying that a presentation earlier in the day by the US represented proof that they’d been sending arms to the Shi’ite Houthis in Yemen to resist the US-backed Saudi invasion, saying it was a ‘fabrication.”

The US presentation centered on a short-range ballistic missile fired by Yemen at the Riyadh airport, which US officials claim was Iranian-made and Iranian-sent. US Ambassador Nikki Haley talked up building a new coalition against Iran.

Iran’s Foreign Minister likened Haley’s presentation to Colin Powell’s 2003 WMD speech about Iraq, which precipitated the disastrous US invasion and occupation of Iraq.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif, is entirely correct in his assessment and analogy here.

Pence delays Middle East trip in case needed for U.S. tax vote

U.S. Vice President Mike Pence will delay an upcoming Middle East trip by a few days in case a tie-breaking vote is needed from him for tax cut legislation in Congress, a senior White House official said on Thursday.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Reuters, Reuters, Reuters; this is really a "lipstick on a pig" moment for you, and the optics of this lame excuse are just officially horrible.

No one in the Middle East, except, perhaps Bibi Netanyahu, wants to recieve Pence because of President Trump's announcement, last week, that he recognised Jerusalem as Israel's capital.

The Palestinians, and leaders of other Middle Eastern countries now understand that the US government can never, ever again be considered as an honest broker of peace in the region, will always favor Israel, no matter what it does, and collectively has the morals of a dead tree stump.

President Trump threw the Palestinian people under a bus last week, most probably in return for a $100 million dollar campaign donation from Sheldon Adelson in 2016, and the Palestinians have every right to be infuriated.

That fury resulted in the following action on the part of Abbas:

Abbas won't meet U.S. Vice President Pence: official

That the President did not understand that there would be severe international consequences to his act last week of recognizing Jerusalem as Israel's capital indicates one of two things; he is either painfully naive, or is getting some really hideous advice from his "President Whisperers" when it comes to thorny geopolitical issues in the Middle East.

Mainstream media in 2013: "Conspiracy Theorists!"
Mainstream media in 2017: "ISIS Got a Powerful Missile the CIA Bought!"
Years late to the party, mainstream media outlets like USA Today, Reuters, and Buzzfeed are just out with "breaking" and "exclusive" stories detailing how a vast arsenal of weapons sent to Syria by the CIA in cooperation with US allies fuelled the rapid growth of ISIS. Buzzfeed's story entitled, Blowback: ISIS Got A Powerful Missile The CIA Secretly Bought In Bulgaria [4], begins by referencing "a new report on how ISIS built its arsenal highlights how the US purchased munitions, intended for Syrian rebels, that ended up in the hands of the terrorist group."

Webmaster's Commentary:

I have to wonder just how much that definition "indirectly allowed" is real, or just for American consumption, to allow Americans to still entertain the complete and utter fantasy that this supply was not deliberate on the part of the American government.

Nikki Haley vows to present 'irrefutable evidence' Iran 'deliberately violated international obligations'

Nikki Haley, the United States ambassador to the United Nations, is set to lay out Thursday what the Trump administration claims is "irrefutable evidence that Iran has deliberately violated its international obligations and has tried and failed to cover up these violations," her office said in a statement Wednesday.

The announcement will come as the U.N. presents a report today on the implementation of U.N. Security Council Resolution 2231. That's the resolution that endorsed the Iran nuclear agreement, known formally as the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, and calls on Iran not to undertake any activity related to ballistic missiles for eight years as well.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This, while the IAEA has stated consistently that Iran has been consistently in compliance with this agreement?!?

Hailey and President Trump, in making these accusations, are making the US government look like the netherside of a jaysap, and I, for one, am embarrassed about this.

The IAEA is comprised of very smart, talented, and disciplined people, who would have the expertise to know if Iran was violating the agreement, and they haven't said anything about any Iranian violations of this deal whatsoever.

Please understand; this is about Israel wanting regime change in Iran; however, Netanyahu and his cabal want this to happen only at the costs of American blood, and financed with American money.

The agenda here is war with Iran, which is why the lying narrative of Iran having violated the agreement, is being put forward at the UN.

I do hope that President Trump and his triumverate of "President Whisperers", Kelly, McMaster, and Mattis, will take a grave and sober assessment of what American interventions in Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia, Niger, and Lybia have "accomplished" so far, before they commit to war against Iran.

Oh, and did I mention; a war against Iran will most likely mean war with Russia, as its leadership has committed to defending it against outside attacks?!?

And as we have seen in Syria, Russia has military equipment which does work as advertised.

US Expected to Sanction Iran Because of Worsening Conditions in Yemen

With thousands dead in a Saudi air war against Yemen, and potentially millions facing starvation because of the Saudi-led naval blockade against Yemen, the House Foreign Affairs Committee is looking to act: against Iran.

Iran has little to nothing to do with the Yemen War, of course, but Saudis have pushed the narrative that the Shi’ite Iranians are backing the Shi’ite Houthi movement, even though they’re different types of Shi’ites, and the factions had no known contacts before the Saudi invasion.

House officials are eating up the Saudi allegations, however, pushing a bill that threatens to punish Iran even further if they don’t “stop” arming the Houthis, which would be difficult for Iran to prove since there’s little evidence they’ve ever armed the Houthis more than a token amount.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Just please give me a moment to wrap my head around this; in spite of the fact the US government and military are complicit in Saudi war crimes in Yemen, the US House of Representatives is keen to sanction Iran... for something it really has't done, like arming the Houthi rebels?!?

Folks, this... is desperation on the cusp of madness!!

Spleeters suspected that the tubes, trigger mechanisms, and fins of the new rockets were all the work of ISIS engineers, but he thought the warheads likely came from somewhere else. After discovering similar weapons over the past six months, he has grown to believe that ISIS may have captured the warheads from antigovernment militias in the Syrian civil war that had been secretly armed by Saudi Arabia and the United States.

Yale Law School students have requested a US court to permit a class-action lawsuit on behalf of US Air Force veterans who responded to the catastrophic 1966 hydrogen bomb accident in the Mediterranean Sea, but who have been denied disability benefits.

The 1966 accident occurred when a USAF B-52 carrying four hydrogen bombs collided with a USAF KC-135 tanker aircraft during a mid-flight refueling exercise. The refueling nozzle hit the fuselage and caused a major explosion seen by another B-52 pilot a mile away. All four airmen on the FC-135 were killed along with three of the four airmen on board the B-52.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Please show this article to anyone thinking about enlisting in any branch of the US military.

These men were treated by the VA as irrelevant, useless, and thoroughly worthy of the horrific illnesses and deaths they endured.

This cavalier treatment of our Vets cannot be allowed to stand, period, end of discussion; every Vet in every branch of our service should get the same medical care as does Former Vice President Dick Cheney; they have earned it.

DARPA Genetic Extinction Research a Mistake - Human Rights Watchdog

The US advanced military research body – DARPA – announced that it will invest tens of millions of dollars into genetic extinction research. While the official aim of this research is said to be fighting harmful insects, there are significantly darker speculations about the possible use of such a tool.

Radio Sputnik discussed the possible dangers of this kind of research with Silvia Ribeiro, Latin America director of the ETC Group, an international organization dedicated to "the conservation and sustainable advancement of cultural and ecological diversity and human rights."

"When it is developed under an umbrella of a military research, you get a clear notion that there can be a dual purpose of this research," Ribeiro told Sputnik.

Speaking about the official purpose of the so-called extinction technologies research — fighting malaria-carrying mosquitoes — she noted that even if one species of mosquito is eradicated, it will not influence the bacteria that causes malaria.

Trump Continues Obama’s Wars Against Democracy

The reality, not talked about in public (since America isn’t a democracy), is that the United States Government propagandizes against foreign governments and then perpetrates coups and/or military invasions against them, in order to impose the U.S. empire’s dictatorial stooges, and then to crush whatever democracy had existed there. This U.S. fascism didn’t happen only in Iran in 1953, Guatemala in 1954, and Chile in 1973, but it happens also today, long after the ‘anti-communist’ excuse for it had ended in 1991.

In Pushing Saudis on Yemen Aid, US Warns About Losing Congressional Support

Despite repeatedly White House expressions of confidence that the Saudis are definitely going to start letting aid into Yemen at some point, the Saudis have shown no sign of doing so. Privately, the US has been a bit more blunt with them about the potential consequences.

The Trump Administration is trying to sell easing humanitarian aid as a way to placate the US Congress, where mounting concerns about the war crimes being committed in Yemen are seeing votes on US arms sales to the Saudi kingdom increasingly difficult to squeeze through.

The public statements from the White House are getting more frequent, with two statements on Wednesday and Friday of the past week, and officials saying over the weekend they expect more in the coming weeks, suggesting they don’t believe the Saudis will so easily allow food into Yemen.

Webmaster's Commentary:

In its two year enabling of the Saudi genocide in Yemen, the US government has been complicit in Saudi war crimes here; there is utterly no getting around this. Here are some very graphic images what the US government and military is assisting the Saudi government and military in "accomplishing" in Yemen:

Yemeni children being killed or maimed for life.

Images: Yemeni children starving to death, courtesyof the US and Saudi port blockade in Yemen.

Video demonstrating the use of DU by the Saudi Military

Images: severe birth defects in Yemeni infants

I will tell you right now, poisoning a child in the womb with depleted uranium weapons, is one of the most hideously cruel and insanely barbaric examples of outright, despicable child abuse I can imagine; and yet, obviously, the House of Saud; the Saudi Military, and the US military are perfectly comfortable doing this in Yemen.

I can understand the geopolitical potential for US/Saudi power projection by conquering Yemen; but gentlemen, please, at what moral cost to the soul of this nation will such a "victory" come, to the point where the US government is willingly "doubling down" in expanding on Saudi Arabia's war crimes in Yemen?!?

And for those you expect to fight, die, and get maimed for life (possibly from the US's use of DU in Yemen), I think they, and we, the American people, need one hell of an honest, completely factual explanation from you both as to whose “vital interests” are at stake here. Because from where I sit, it is NOT the "vital interests" of We the People, to be escalating the US military's involvement in this war, particularly when almost every expert on the issue has stated that the resolution to this issue has to be political, rather than military.

As US-Russia Tensions Rise, 1987 Nuke Treaty in Jeopardy

Over the weekend, Russia responded to the latest of what’s literally been some 4-5 years of US allegations over that test by again reiterating that they don’t see a violation, and that they are committed to the treaty.

But US-Russia tensions have gotten progressively worse through that 4-5 year span, which has turned “questions” about a possible technical violation into increasingly shrill US claims that Russia is “violating the treaty,” and threatening to withdraw from it.

In practice, the treaty is a relatively minor one among nuclear treaties, and one that officials likely believe they risk for the sake of picking more diplomatic fights with Russia. The risk, however, is that ditching this treaty will lead to the ditching of others, a partial concern given the recent US hostility toward anti-nuclear deals

Defense Contractors Hold Pentagon Hostage With Contracts

A new Government Accountability Office report, released in October 2017, details problems the services are having keeping the F-35 fleet ready for combat. One problem it highlighted was that, at a time when the Pentagon is desperate to ramp up production of new aircraft, the services have to wait an average of 172 days—nearly six months—to repair components for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF), when it should only take between 60 and 90 days. While this aspect of the report garnered most of the headlines, the report reveals a much more fundamental and systemic problem involving most of the latest high-tech weapon systems: Defense contractors are creating complicated support systems for the increasingly complex weapon systems the Pentagon buys, which allows the contractors to secure long-term contracts for which they have no competition from other companies.

The F-35 serves as the ultimate example of this arrangement. Under the current plans, the American people will spend $406.5 billion for research, development, and procurement for a fleet of 2,456 F-35s. That is a staggering figure, but it pales in comparison to the costs to sustain the program. These costs are expected to top $1.2 trillion through 2060>>>

Florida rally cheers when Republican predicts Trump’s Jerusalem embassy decision may usher in Armageddon

A conservative politician at President Donald Trump’s campaign rally in Pensacola, Florida suggested that the president’s controversial decision to move the US Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem may usher in the biblical end times.

Republican state Senator Doug Broxson represents the Florida Panhandle in the legislature and gave an introductory speech welcoming President Trump to Florida.

“Now, I don’t know about you, but when I heard about Jerusalem — where the King of Kings [applause] where our soon coming King is coming back to Jerusalem, it is because President Trump declared Jerusalem to be capital of Israel,” Sen. Broxson predicted.

That was the only jaw-dropping line of the speech.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I had a Jean-Luc Picard double facepalm, at velocity, upon reading this.

He certainly played to his base, on this; unfortunately, what he, and his brother and sister Republicans, are most likely to reap from this is World War III, created, in large part by Israel's hubristic treatment of all their Muslim neighbors, and the Palestinians in the occupied East Jerusalem, the West Bank, and Gaza.

44,000 US Troops on ‘Unknown’ Deployments Worldwide

When the Pentagon wants to mislead the public about where US troops are, generally speaking, they just lie. Yet sometimes the number of troops is just too big to claim as a rounding error, and questions start happening.

This week, the focus is on over 44,000 US military personnel deployed to “unknown,” which immediately raises red flags, because that’s not a place. Pentagon officials, however, say there is “no good way” to describe where they are.

Pentagon spokesman Col. Rob Manning, on the one hand, presented this as an “operational security” and “denying the enemy any advantage,” including, it seems providing any specifics on who “the enemy” at this point even is.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I would strongly suggest that these troops are not "unknown" to the Pentagon; they are simply...undeclared.

P.C.Roberts: Avoiding Nuclear War Is Our First Priority

Trump’s election was like Reagan’s. He appealed to the people instead of to the ruling interest groups. As a high official in Reagan’s government who was aligned with Reagan’s goals to end stagflation and the Cold War, I experienced first hand the cost of going against the powerful interest groups that are accustomed to ruling. We took part of their rule away from them, but now they have taken it back. And they are now stronger than before. Essentially, Trump is powerless and is limited to expressing his frustrations on Twitter.

In my opinion, the lesson being dealt to Trump will teach any future presidential candidate not to challenge the ruling oligarchy by appealing to the American people.

This means that democracy in America is stone dead. I sometimes wonder if democracy can be revived without violent revolution, and of course revolutions can go wrong.

Are Americans capable of violent revolution? If they are not, will the greedy elites remain in control until they stumble into a nuclear war?

These 8 Places Around the World Are Actively Preparing for Nuclear War

Everywhere, it seems like officials are actively preparing for the possibility of nuclear war.

Tensions are high in practically every corner of the world but somehow, despite the proliferation of imminent threats, many people are still blithely unaware of the hell that could be unleashed.

Due to tensions between the US and North Korea, the world is frantically preparing for the possibility of a nuclear attack. The US, China, Russia, North Korea, and South Korea have all shown force with bombers and destroyers, and it seems that it will only be a matter of time before one incident sparks a cascading explosion.

The governments of these 8 places are making preparations, but they'll be to little avail if people don't participate and just expect to be rescued.

State Department warns Americans they are in danger from terror attacks WORLDWIDE following Trump's Jerusalem decision

The State Department issued a new 'Worldwide Caution' to Americans traveling overseas on Wednesday, after President Donald Trump announced the U.S. has officially recognized Jerusalem as Israel's capital.

The update did not include specific warnings about Israel, the West Bank and Gaza; that region's travel advisory dates back to April.

But the State Department did advise Americans to avoid Jerusalem's Old City and the West Bank on Tuesday, anticipating strong reactions to Trump's speech once the subject matter became public.

The global warning advised American citizens to 'maintain a high level of vigilance and take appropriate steps to increase their security awareness when traveling.'

Webmaster's Commentary:

IF you can manage to not travel out of the country, but can use Skype or some other form of visual peer-to-peer conferencing software, I would highly recommend it right now.

President Trump's recognition of Jerusalem as Israel's capital has just placed a target on the backs of every American, and every American asset, both at home and abroad.

Asia’s Other Nuclear Standoff

By roping India and Japan into its standoff with China, the U.S. is raising the nuclear stakes in Asia – including, dangerously, between India and Pakistan.

With the world focused on the scary possibility of war on the Korean Peninsula, not many people paid much attention to a series of naval exercises this past July in the Malacca Strait, a 550-mile long passage between Sumatra and Malaysia through which pass over 50,000 ships a year.

With President Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un exchanging threats and insults, why would the media bother with something innocuously labeled “Malabar 17”?

They should have.

Malabar 17 brought together the US, Japanese, and Indian navies to practice shutting down a waterway through which 80 percent of China’s energy supplies travel and to war games closing off the Indian Ocean to Chinese submarines. If Korea keeps you up at night, try imagining the outcome of choking off fuel for the world’s second largest economy.

Webmaster's Commentary:

War with China (or Russia, for that matter) right now, would be the most pig-headedly, ham-fistedly stupid thing the US government could do right now.

This, unfortunately, is absolutely no guarantee that the US government won't haul off and do it. Paul Craig Roberts has made this claim, that there are plans in the works to do just that, and he presented this in an article he wrote last Spring:

Washington plans to nuke Russia and China

U.S. Military Planned First Strike Nuclear Attack on Every City in Russia and China … and Gave Many Low-Level Field Commanders the Power to Push the Button

America’s most famous whistleblower, the former military analyst who leaked the Pentagon Papers which helped end the Vietnam war – has just published a book revealing that he was also one of the main nuclear war planners for the United States in the 1960s.

Ellsberg said in an interview this morning on Democracy Now that the U.S. had plans for a first strike on every city in Russia and China … and that numerous field-level commanders had the power to start nuclear Armageddon:

‘Not if, but when’: N. Korea claims US warmongering makes potential nuclear war inevitable

North Korea views the endless military drills on its borders and repeated “bellicose remarks” by top US officials as means to “provoke” a nuclear war in the region, in which the US itself will be “burnt to death by the fire.”
“The large-scale nuclear war exercises conducted by the US in succession are creating touch-and-go situation on the Korean peninsula and series of violent war remarks coming from the US high-level politicians amid such circumstances have made an outbreak of war on the Korean peninsula an established fact. The remaining question now is: when will the war break out,” a spokesperson for North Korea’s foreign ministry said Wednesday in commentary provided by state news agency KCNA.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Tomorrow is December 8th; I am hoping (and praying) that these exercises will end quietly, and the Kim Jong Un doesn't feel like uncorking another ICBM test any time soon, as a response to these exercises.

Because should war break out, the casualties, on all sides, will be enormous, including, potentially, the dependents of the American military in South Korea. And although there are very few times I agree with the guy, I think Lindsey Graham was correct about pulling US dependents out of South Korea:

Lindsey Graham Calls on the Pentagon to Pull Families of Service Members out of South Korea due to War Worries

However, for the Pentagon, such a move would be a massive "tip of the hand", telegraphing an attack was coming, so no matter how much "collateral damage" may result for military families from a blitzkrieg-style, US attack against North Korea, I don't see an evacuation of military family personnel happening for just that reason.

In recent years the concept of “world war” has given way to a more insidious trend of constant and sporadic regional wars. In most cases these regional wars have helped to contribute to the steady downfall of the U.S. through accumulating national debts as well as international distrust or hatred. In fact, one might conclude that if we were to look at the macro-picture of the vast array of regional wars being perpetrated by the globalists we would see that all of them combined are amounting to a kind of world war in a different form.

Manadel al-Jamadi hung from the rusty rungs of a barred window, his hands behind his back in a style known as a Palestinian hanging. American troops beat him and demanded the unconscious prisoner reveal the whereabouts of a non-existent weapons cache. His face was hidden under a green bag and hanging down over his droopy shoulders, displacing from their sockets from gravity’s force, pushing his limp body down to the cold ground of his cell.

Half an hour passed, and the exuberant Americans soldiers started to think that the sorry Iraqi man was cheating them by playing dead ‘like a possum’, and released him from his stress position. They then realised that the prisoner had no pulse.

When telling the truth becomes criminal, the truth teller becomes, as have Hersch, Pilger, and Chompsky, anathemas to the Deep State, and are to be punished for having had the audacity to even look for the truth, particularly when that truth does not align with the official, consistently regurgitated, Deep State narrative, which has been created to further its agenda.

Gentlemen, welcome to our world.

US bombers to fly over Korean peninsula: report

The U.S. Air Force will send a number of B-1B Lancer bombers to South Korea on Wednesday to take part in a week-long joint military exercise following Pyongyang's latest missile test, according to Yonhap News Agency.

An unspecified number of the long-range bombers will join more than 230 aircraft taking part in the two countries' largest-ever joint exercise, called "Vigilant Ace," a defense source told the South Korean news agency.

The move comes shortly after North Korea launched its first missile test in two months.

The supersonic bombers have previously flown to the peninsula in pairs as a show of force after past missile launches by the isolated nation's military.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I am hoping (and, as a Christian, praying) that nothing goes haywire between now and the end of this week, when these exercises are supposed to end, and that Kim Jong Un will not believe it to be strategically in his best interest to launch another ICBM at the conclusion of these exercises.

Russia Warns Korean Peninsula "On Brink Of War"

Following the launch of the "largest ever" US-South Korean aerial military drills, and Pyongyang's latest, most impressive, missile test, the Russian foreign ministry issued a warning that "the situation on the Korean Peninsula is on the brink of war," adding that "Kim seeks to raise the stakes before any talks."

The US and South Korea launched their largest aerial drills yet on Monday, less than a week after North Korea tested its new Hwasong-15 missile which military observers said has the capacity to strike Washington DC, or nearly any other location in the continental US. The launched shattered nearly two months of calm as many suspected the North’s benefactors in China were making good on their promises to rein in the restive state’s belligerent behavior.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I am hoping (and, as a Christian, praying) that nothing goes haywire before the end of these exercises, and that Kim Jung Un doesn't throw another ICBM into the air right after them.

IF Russia is going to offer itself as an intermediary to ratchet down the tensions here, the US government should graciously accept any assistance in doing so.

But of course, that... would be logical, so it will be immediately rejected out of hand.

CBO: Trump military buildup would cost taxpayers an extra $683 billion

The military buildup President Donald Trump has called for would cost $683 billion more than current spending plans over the next decade, according to a new analysis by the Congressional Budget Office.

To achieve the buildup, the base budget would have to reach $688 billion by 2027, more than 20 percent larger than peak defense spending during the 1980s, CBO said in a report released Monday.

The CBO score comes as Trump closes out his first year in office without substantially advancing his promise to “rebuild the military” and — with statutory budget caps in place — no clear political path to the massive defense increase required to achieve it.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Mr. President, a word, please; can we look at spending more intelligently, rather than just spending more money?!?

Because this government has been busily throwing an inordinant amount of money on weapons systems which just don't work at all as advertised.

Please consider this; are political victories, in the name of party and personal power, bought by huge corporate donations, many times from the military industrial complex, worth the ultimate price of their weapons not functioning when our military desperately needs them to work, in order to win military conflicts?!?

There is something fundamentally wrong with the culture of our weapons systems developers, if that is the way they are being allowed to think by this government, and the elements in the government which assign weapons contracts.

That, President Trump... has to change, and change immediately, if our military is to regain its competitive edge.

US military agency invests $100m in genetic extinction technologies

Technology could be used to wipe out malaria carrying mosquitos or other pests but UN experts say fears over possible military uses and unintended consequences strengthen case for a ban.

A US military agency is investing $100m in genetic extinction technologies that could wipe out malarial mosquitoes, invasive rodents or other species, emails released under freedom of information rules show.

The documents suggest that the US’s secretive Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (Darpa) has become the world’s largest funder of “gene drive” research and will raise tensions ahead of a UN expert committee meeting in Montreal beginning on Tuesday.

The UN Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) is debating whether to impose a moratorium on the gene research next year and several southern countries fear a possible military application.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Guardian, I am absolutely calling you out on this, because that last statement is fundamentally, stupidly incorrect, and you know it.

As reported in presstv.ca on 7 November of this year:

US military says collecting Russian DNA for ‘research purposes’ The article goes on to say:

"US, Israel worked on biogenetic weapons

Biogenetic weapons are defined as biological agents designed to inflict debilitating diseases or other internal bodily afflictions on a specific group of people who share a genetic code.

While it remains unclear if such weapons have ever been successfully developed, the US and Israel are known to have given it a try.

In 1998, the popular US-based technology magazine Wired reported that Israel was working on a biological agent “that would harm Arabs while leaving Jews unaffected.”

Reuters later reported that, according to British scientists, it was possible to develop such weapons given the advances in genetic mapping".

Are you so collectively naive that you don't understand that these genetic extinction technologies are about killing off far more than mosquitos?!?!

The U.S. Government Creates and Exacerbates the Nuclear Threat

The whole situation is a “Catch 22” scenario: damned if you do, and damned if you don’t. The problem: we’re American citizens and this is our country. The concurrent problem? It is our country that caused this predicament to occur with North Korea…in a pattern of American imperialism that has been going on actively for about a hundred years. The problem is twofold:

1. North Korea can strike the U.S. with an EMP (Electromagnetic Pulse) attack and/or nuclear missiles, yet:

2. The United States government, through the current and prior two administrations has set the stage for this…as either:

A purposefully-created “threat” to give America a “bogeyman”/Emmanuel Goldstein to focus on in a “Two-Minutes Hate” drill…keep the “threat level” alive, or
A threat of insignificance grown and nurtured for the express purpose of taking down the country…while reaping profits and power for the oligarchy all along.

McMaster: Potential for war with North Korea 'increasing every day

White House national security adviser HR McMaster said Saturday that North Korea represents "the greatest immediate threat to the United States" and that the potential for war with the communist nation is growing each day.

"I think it's increasing every day, which means that we are in a race, really, we are in a race to be able to solve this problem," McMaster told an audience at the Reagan National Defense Forum in Simi Valley, California when asked if North Korea's launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile Tuesday had increased the chance of war.

President Donald Trump remains committed to the complete denuclearization of the Korean Peninsula, McMaster said, adding that there are nonmilitary ways to deal with the issue, such as calling on China to impose greater economic sanctions against Pyongyang. McMaster noted that Beijing's "tremendous coercive economic power" over North Korea.

Webmaster's Commentary:

HR, a word, please; what, precisely, please, does China get from the US for exerting its "tremendous coercive economic power" over North Korea to get it to denuclearize?!?

And just in case, sir, you are dealing with a really stubborn case of SMD (Selective Memory Disorder), are you having difficulty remembering that a couple of weeks ago, when China sent one of its top level diplomats/Negotiators to North Korea, Kim Jong Un refused to see him?!?

Kim Jong Un Refuses to see top Chinese Amgassador

I would also like to politely remind you that the US has, historically, begrudgingly acknowledged, and lived with, nuclear nations for whose leadership our leadership didn't hold much of a positive thought; Pakistan comes to mind here. The bottom line here, is we have learned to live with nuclear armed countries we don't like, and whose leadership doesn't particularly like that of the US.

That the potential for war war between the US and North Korea getting uglier, and from your perspective, more close, on a daily basis, is not solely the fault of North Korea, but also the faults of the choices the US government has made, over the last 60- plus years of the Armistice, to not negotiate a true peace treaty with North Korea, unlimiting and unsanctioning trade, and working with North Korea to enter into dialogue about their weapons program.

It originally worked with Iran, although Israel's Netanyahu is cheerleading for a US-led war against it; there is no logical reason that it cannot work with North Korea, except that the US government is hell-bent against really giving it a logical try.

This week, as you well know, there is a huge war game, with South Korean and US troops doing what can only be interpreted as a "dry run" for a bombing campaign against North Korea. This campaign ends this Friday.

During this time-frame, I would not bet against some kind of a "false flag" happpening, to be engineered to appear that North Korea did it, as the "justification" for mounting a full-scale military campaign against it.

But you are going to have to ask yourself, Mr. McMaster, in the most bluntly honest way you can conjur, if this false flag can be done in such a way that it appears credible to the Chinese government; because if it does not, this most probably means war with China over North Korea.

Just a few thoughts, sir.

Former U.S. Defense Secretary Explains Why Nuclear Holocaust Is Now Likely

The Stanford mathematician William J. Perry was a strategic nuclear advisor to U.S. President John Fitzgerald Kennedy during the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962, and then he became U.S. Secretary of Defense under President Bill Clinton.

He stated in a speech on November 28th at the National Cathedral in Washington DC, that “inexplicably to me, we’re recreating the geopolitical hostility of the Cold War, and we’re rebuilding the nuclear dangers,” and he went so far as to make clear why "I believe that the likelihood of some sort of a nuclear catastrophe today is actually greater than it was during the Cold War."

Progress report on the US-Russian war

I am often asked if the US and Russia will go to war with each other. I always reply that they are already at war. Not a war like WWII, but a war nonetheless. This war is, at least for the time being, roughly 80% informational, 15% economic and 5% kinetic. But in political terms the outcome for the loser of this war will be no less dramatic than the outcome of WWII was for Germany: the losing country will not survive it, at least not in its present shape: either Russia will become a US colony again or the AngloZionist Empire will collapse.

At the end of the day, political regimes can only survive by the consent of those it rules. In the United States this consent is clearly in the process of being withdrawn. In Russia it has never been stronger.

US and South Korea Begging for War with North Korea. Preparation for Military Onslaught under Operation “Vigilant Ace”

On November 23, the U.S. and South Korea confirmed that they will be deploying yet another menacing military demonstration against North Korea, with 230 aircraft, including F-22 Raptor stealth fighters and F-35 aircraft, 12,000 U.S. personnel, with the participation of the U.S. marines and navy. This preparation for military onslaught against the DPRK, called “Vigilant Ace,” will begin on December 4, and this “Sword of Damocles,” which the U.S. and South Korea hold over North Korea is a perpetual form of terrorism. Confronted with these constant and deadly military threats and intolerable provocations, the DPRK had no alternative but to increase its defense, and on November 28 tested another ballistic missile.

The Folly of Deploying US Tactical Nuclear Weapons to South Korea

The mudslinging between US President Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un and the near-daily handicapping of whether the US and North Korea are bound for war have overshadowed an important debate in South Korea over whether the US should redeploy tactical nuclear weapons (TNW) on ROK territory. Proposals that US government officials and defense experts have floated to ease South Korean worries about the credibility of the US extended deterrent have primarily focused on bolstering US/ROK conventional defenses against North Korean aggression. These measures, while necessary in the short-term, may not be sufficient to contain South Korean pressure for either US TNW deployments or development of an indigenous nuclear weapons program over the long-run, especially if the conservative party returns to power.

Russian FM Reveals First Victims in Case of War on Korean Peninsula

Russia condemns the provocative actions of the United States with regard to North Korea, as well as Washington's attempts to involve Tokyo and Seoul in provocations, Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has stated, adding that Japan and South Korea "will become the first victims in case of the outbreak of a war on the Korean peninsula."

According to the minister, Pyongyang has refrained from launching missiles for over two months prior to the latest launch on Wednesday.

Lavrov explained that the US officials made it clear to Russia that next US drills close to the North Korean borders were not scheduled to take place until spring 2018.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The level at which the US is playing "picador" with North Korea, Russia, and China on the issue of North Korea's missile tests, is nothing less than terrifying.

And to assure Lavrov that there would be be no massive US/South Korean war games until 2018, then do a 180 degree turn on that commitment, is thoroughly geopolitically reckless on the part of this Administration, and demonstrates that it cannot possibly be trusted by the world's leadership.

Paul Craig Roberts: "Can't You See War On The Horizon?"

According to news reports in the British press, Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed Russia’s industries to prepare themselves to be able to make a quick switch to war production.

Clearly, the Russian government would not make such an announcement unless it was convinced that the prospect of war with the West was real.

For some time I have emphasized in my columns that the consequence of years of hostile actions taken by Washington and its European vassals against Russia was leading to war.

It is easy to understand that the massive US military/security complex needs a convincing enemy in order to justify its enormous budget, that the crazed neoconservatives put their fantasy ideology of US world hegemony above the life of the planet, and that Hillary and the Democratic National Committee will do anything to overturn Trump’s presidential victory.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The short answer to the question posited by Paul Craig Roberts in this article is, HELL, yes!!

And I know I sound like a chipped CD on this but please, now is the time to prepare, if you haven't done so already. Storable food, potable water, and extra meds for yourselves and your pets. Have a way of protecting what you have stored with which you feel comfortable.

Sergey Lavrov Blasts Washington’s North Korea Policy

Everyone everywhere wanting peace, not war, should blast it, imperial madness threatening life on earth.

The Trump administration wants North Korea isolated, all countries urged to sever ties with its government.

China and Russia reject bellicosity toward the country, neither willing to sever ties, fundamentally against Washington’s imperial agenda, calling for stepping back from the brink, engaging in responsible diplomacy to resolve contentious issues - what the Trump administration refuses to do.

On Thursday, Putin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said “sever(ing) ties with (the DPRK) would be the easiest thing to do. The question is what we will do to resolve the issue. We believe that we should pool our efforts to…reach a settlement.”

Sergey Lavrov was uncharacteristically blunt, saying “(t)he latest US action seemed to be directed towards provoking Pyongyang into taking some rash action.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

Lavrov is entirely correct in his assessment; he is someone I would characterize as "a true adult in the room" of geopolitics, and would be delighted to meet him one day.

But if EVER there was a moment in world history, when this country needed a department of peace, it is right the hell now.

And I am, unfortunately, thoroughly convinced that war is coming, because the US government has lost its ability to achieve its geopolitical objectives in any other way.

And Lendman is very precient when he talks about wars against Iran Russia and China; Paul Craig Roberts reported last Spring that the US government has plans to attack China and Russia, and this guy does have the contacts and knowledge of the inner workings of DC to have gotten this story correctly:

Washington plans to nuke Russia and China

Ravaged by Cholera, Yemen Faces 2nd Preventable Scourge: Diphtheria

Diphtheria, a deadly infectious disease once thought to have been largely eradicated, has now joined cholera as a public-health scourge threatening war-torn Yemen, where a blockade by Saudi Arabia has impeded emergency aid.

Officials at the World Health Organization said Friday that at least 22 people in Yemen had died of diphtheria and nearly 200 had been sickened since it was detected three months ago.

The disease, which the medical charity Doctors Without Borders said had not been seen in Yemen for 25 years, has now spread to 13 of Yemen’s 22 governorates.

Officials warned that young children were especially vulnerable to the disease, which spreads through the air and could escalate quickly into an epidemic in Yemen if health workers there lack the antitoxins and vaccine to control it. Currently they have little of either.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Apparently, from the perspective of the thoroughly, morally depraved Saudi Butcher of Yemen, Prince Salman, the Yemenis, and particularly their children haven't suffered enough, and not enough of them have died from Saudi bombings; death by malnutrition; death by cholera, and death by diptheria.

And the US government is blissfully happy in enabling this genocide.

Of course, I fully understand that people in the highest levels of government in this country have had their conscience surgically removed before taking office.

I don't think that I am alone here in feeling very morally uncomfortable in being a citizen of a country which colludes in war crimes, which is precisely what the US government is doing with Saudi Arabia right now.

A U.S. Navy pilot flying over far north Okanogan County, Washington, is in hot water for leaving contrails in the sky in the shape of a penis. According to a report from CBS News affiliate KREM, people on the ground saw the image and complained. One mother was “upset because she might have to explain the drawings to her kids.” The reporter assured listeners that “we’re deliberately not showing you those drawings because they’re offensive.”

For over half a century the U.S. government has sent our military (and plenty of military aid) to foreign countries, to kill and maim and torture, to overthrow democratic governments and shore up corporate dominance, to prop up brutal dictators, and ultimately to protect America’s global hegemony.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I feel a moment coming on in which I feel compelled to honor America's painfully funny (and prophetic) comedian George Carlin, in his discussion about US foreign policy: and a warning here; this monologue is heavily laced with profanity. If you don't like it, please don't watch/listen.
