Webmaster's Commentary:

Take a good look at that kid in this image, bleeding out, as an older adult scrambles to get him care; looking at the paucity of medical care here, the kid just may not make it.

Welcome to the world of another young victim of the US/NATO occupation of Afghanistan, 17 years on.

And as someone who loves kids, and believes all kids should have a decent future, I cannot look at this child, and begin to use the word "collateral damage" with a straight face.

What the Trump admininstration and NATO should be doing right now, because there is absolutely no military metric by which either can say that the US has "won" in Afghanistan, is to have troops leave as safely as possible, then negotiate with whatever government is left in Kabul for the pipeline rights, and the opium field rights.

But of course, that.... would be logical.
