This American Life: Right to Remain Silent (podcast)
A disgruntled and dissatisfied customer watches "Fight Club" [to wind-down] after leaving the Apple store and paraphrases a quote from the movie on his FaceBook Status:
"Joe Lipari might walk into an Apple store on Fifth Avenue with an Armalite AR-10 gas powered semi-automatic weapon and pump round after round into one of those smug, fruity little concierges. It may be someone you've known for years -- someone very very close to you."
An hour later, there were plain-clothed police officers at the door -- one brandishing a machine gun. For several months, Joe faced felony terrorism charges . . . over a broken cell phone.
The second story in the podcast is an interview with a NY police officer who's conscience got to him, and he wore a wire on the job to record and expose the corruption. (with audio of his recordings).
