Anti-Trump Hate: Twitter Says The Right Things, Just Doesn't Follow Through On Them

Twitter and Facebook said on Saturday they would remove posts wishing or hoping for the death of President Donald Trump.

Trump, 74, was diagnosed with COVID-19 on Thursday and moved to a medical facility in Maryland the next day for treatment, which includes remdesivir, an antiviral drug.

“Tweets that wish or expect death, serious bodily harm or fatal illness against * anyone * are not allowed and will have to be removed. This does not automatically mean suspension, ”Twitter said in a statement in response to a post that said the platform would suspend people who tweet that they expect Trump to die.
