I control from my mind the link, a hammer, which in turn controls all subsequent movements of any rat which snuck into our house from the adjacent wilderness.

True, unlike the researchers, I never tried to make these rats run a maze, because I don't quite see the benefit of having a smarter rat. But I'll gladly FedEx the rats I flatten to Beijing at their cost, if they want to hook them up to their brain network. If the rats still won't run anywhere no matter what the scientists say, that will only show that my flattened rats have more common sense than those scientists.
