But Steve Milloy -- who has a B.A. in natural sciences among other science credentials -- says the recent cooling trend proves there is no correlation between manmade carbon emissions and climate change. Ice core samples from the past prove that, he adds, as does recent data.
"And then you can look at the 20th-century record, [ask] is there any evidence that...manmade emissions and carbon dioxide drive temperature, and the answer is no," he explains. "Since 1998 we've been pumping out carbon dioxide at record levels [but] temperatures are falling. I mean there is just no cause-and-effect relationship between the two."
