Hawaii volcano eruption: Residents warned to stay indoors as sulphur dioxide levels rise

RESIDENTS have been warned to stay indoors after a change in the wind direction resulted in high levels of toxic sulphur dioxide from Hawaii’s Kilauea volcano – while earthquakes are continuing to damage a major road in the south east part of Big Island.
