Iran accused of playing games on nuclear deal | WHAT REALLY HAPPENED

Iran accused of playing games on nuclear deal

Iran has been accused of playing games after attempting to renegotiate a deal on its nuclear programme.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Isn/t diplomacy where both sides negotiate to reach a deal?

Instead the "we gotta have a war NOW" crowd is taking the position that Iran has to do as they are told without question or face war.

This strikes me as odd because as we have pointed out many times already, Iran has a right to build nuclear power plants and other peaceful uses of nuclear energy as guaranteed by the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, which Iran has signed.

The United States has also signed the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, which means that under international law, the US is required to recognize Iran's right to peaceful uses of nuclear power. Under Article IV, the United States is required to assist Iran in building peaceful applications of nuclear technology.

For that matter, France, Britain, and Germany, which are reported in this article to reject Iran's proposal, are also signers of the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty. Which means they are also required by treaty law to recognize Iran's right to peaceful uses of nuclear power.

The message here is clear. "Someone" has made the decision that Iran is to be destroyed and it does not matter what concessions Iran makes, the war will be on. Apparently to please the warhawks, France, Britain, and Germany have no problem being seen as treaty-breakers and rogue nations.

Meanwhile, of course, there is the problem of Israel which has NOT signed the NNPT does NOT allow IAEA inspections, and yet leads the charge to demonize Iran (just as it did Iraq) over a non-existent weapons threat.

War with Iran will mean war with Russia.

Do you really want to go through that for Israel?

Look back at the headlines before the invasion of Iraq. You will see the same fear-mongering, demonization, and above all, the demand that Iraq/Iran must simply do as ordered to avoid invasion.

And meanwhile, Israel continues to build nuclear weapons with which to
