Michael Moore says we must 'put our bodies on the line' to stop Trump as the liberal director gears up for the release of his new film that documents the presidency

Filmmaker Michael Moore has revealed details of upcoming documentary about Donald Trump's presidency.

The film, titled Fahrenheit 11/9, is a play on the title of his 2004 documentary about former President George W Bush. However, this title references the day Trump won the presidency in 2016.

Speaking on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the liberal filmmaker said the film explores 'how the hell we got in this situation and how we're going to get out of it.'

During his Thursday night interview, Moore spoke of the president and said: 'Look, we’re in deep, deep trouble here.'

'He plans to be re-elected, he loves the term ''president for life.'' The only way that we're going to stop this is eventually we're all going to have to put our bodies on the line,' he said.
