A loud noise was heard near the South Lawn of the White House and a column of smoke was observed.

The Saturday morning and prior to the departure of the president and his family to Selma, Alabama, the Secret Service conducted a safety lock around the White House.

The Secret Service security to extremes and temporarily closed the White House by a loud noise, which already ruled that represented a threat.
