There is still ~100,000 babies a year born in Vietnam with genetic defects caused by the dioxin in agent orange. The tragedy is that the dioxin could have been removed from the herbicide but this would have lowered the profits for Monsanto and Dow.

An under reported situation is that the people on Okinawa are suffering from dioxin the US military sprayed there.
