US-Backed Forces Seize Syrian Commercial Bank In Oil-Rich Northeast Province

Via AlMasdarNews.com,

U.S.-backed forces have seized a Syrian Commercial Bank branch in the Al-Hasakah Governorate, as they expelled all the employees inside the building and established full control over the site. The Syrian Commercial Bank is the largest commercial bank in Syria and is state-owned, headquartered in Damascus. Since 2011 it's been under US and EU sanctions.

According to a field report, the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), alongside the U.S. Coalition, attacked the main building of the Syrian Commercial Bank branch of the government located within the gathering of official departments in the southern section of Ghuweiran District, at the entrance of Al-Zohour neighborhood in Hasakah city.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I have to wonder at what point Putin will put an end to this US occupation of sections of Syria; very obviously, with this move, the US is attempting to put an economic stranglehold on the country.

Don't hold your breath; it's just not going to happen, I'm afraid.
Almost daily, for the last 50 years, I've listened to these two (US and Russia) huffing and puffing, threatening to vaporize each other, but I can't remember the last time a shot was ever fired between them. They've been allies in the world wars.
I think it quite likely that they are in cahoots with one another, this enmity faked, and their 'cold war' a scam to generate business and population control through constant uncertainty and fear of each other, just like Orwell told us it would. And I wonder just how many other world governments would be party to such a fraud.
Everything is under control.
