Goofy Indictments Divert Attention from Criminal Abuses at the FBI and DOJ

All of these suspects will go uninvestigated, unindicted, and unpunished just like the perpetrators of the Iraq War, just like the perpetrators of the Financial Meltdown, and just like the perpetrators of all the major crimes against the American people.

The evidence that the FBI and DOJ “improperly obtained” FISA warrants to spy on Trump campaign affiliate, Carter Page, has now been overshadowed by the tragic massacre in Parkland, Florida and the obfuscating indictments of 13 Internet “trolls” who have not been linked to the Russian government and who are being used to conceal the fact that the 18 month-long witch hunt has not yet produced even one scintilla of hard evidence related to the original claims of “hacking or collusion”.

Is John Brennan the Mastermind Behind Russiagate?

What role did Obama play? What about the Intelligence Community Assessment? Was it based on the contents of the Steele report? Will the “hand-picked” analysts who worked on the report vouch for its conclusions in or were they coached about what to write? How did Brennan persuade the reluctant Comey into opening a counterintelligence investigation on members in the Trump campaign when he knew it would be perceived as a partisan attempt to sabotage the elections by giving Hillary an edge?

Soon the investigative crosshairs will settle on Brennan. He’d better have the right answers.

Whites Need Not Apply: Canadian University Excludes Whites from Senior Management Position

Dalhousie University, based in the Canadian city of Halifax, Nova Scotia, has announced it will only be seeking “racially visible and Indigenous candidates” for a senior management position in order to encourage diversity.

The university put out an email to announce the vacancy for the position of vice-provost of student affairs, which was previously held by Dr. Arig al Shaibah, who also comes from a visible minority background. Provost and vice-president academic Carolyn Watters, who wrote the email, claimed that the move was to increase representation from “underrepresented groups”, CBC reports.

“In keeping with the principles of our employment equity policy, and with an aim to increase the representation of under-represented groups at Dalhousie, this search for a new vice-provost student affairs will be restricted to racially visible persons and Aboriginal peoples at this time,” Watters wrote.

Over 5,000 elementary school kids suspended in Toronto for out-of-date immunization records

A total of 5,063 public elementary students were suspended in Toronto this school year after getting caught in what one doctor called, a “1970s-style, cumbersome process” over immunization records.

The number of students suspended amounted to 7 per cent of the 73,262 elementary students in 586 Toronto public elementary schools assessed by Toronto Public Health from July to mid-December 2017. That’s a jump from 5.6 per cent last year.

“All of the students who were suspended either didn’t meet the immunization requirements as they were not up-to-date, their records were not filed on time, or they did not have a valid exemption,” said Dr. Vinita Dubey, associate medical officer at Toronto Public Health.

What's brewing? British, American, Canadian Advisers Arrive In Donbass

Citing intelligence sources, the representative of Donetsk, Eduard Basurin, has stated that British instructors have arrived in the Donbass, at the locations of the Ukrainian Forces.

"In the area of 93rd separate mechanized brigade in the vicinity of the city of Volnovaha, a group of foreign instructors has arrived - led by a representative of the Armed Forces of the United Kingdom, for the purpose of training of Ukrainian servicemen on how to carry out sabotage and subversive activities," said Basurin.

"In addition to the British, from February 5th to the 9th, a delegation of the US military will join the Brits. They will assess the expenditure of funds that Washington has allocated to the army."

The DPR stressed that rotation of the Ukrainian military has been completed>>>

Canadian Public Broadcaster Claims Quebec Public Sector Employees ‘Too White’

According to an investigation by the French language version of the publicly-funded Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), the public sector workforce of the province of Quebec is “too white”.

The investigation claims that white Canadians are overrepresented in the public sector workforce in comparison to their overall population in Quebec.

White Quebecois are increasingly becoming a smaller segment of the overall population of the province, with visible minorities almost doubling from 7 per cent to 13 per cent of the population between 2001 and 2016.

DACA a Dreamer’s Paradise

I agree some provision should be made for “Dreamers” to achieve legal status (not citizenship), but border security must be part of the deal so this doesn’t keep happening.

And someone needs to explain why Democrats are willing to shut down government services to American citizens (who voted them into office) to provide benefits to illegal immigrants.

Good heavens, civil and charitable Americans do not want to corral Dreamers into concentration camps or starve anyone because they circumvented the existing process for entry into our country and/or eventually applying for citizenship. After all, the American Dream has been available to those who accept the principles of our English language culture and heritage.

This is what ‘the great and the good’ in the business world will not be discussing during the annual talk-fest at the Swiss luxury resort.

Illegals Fleeing to Canada Find Even Liberal Canada Has Limits to Freebies

With renewed pressure brought to bear by President Donald Trump on illegal aliens in the U.S., Canada is warning immigrants here that illegally crossing into Canada is not a free ticket to permanent residency and they can still be deported back to their point of origin if they steal across America’s northern border.

With many illegal immigrants becoming uneasy over their status in the U.S., some are eyeing a trip northward to a country many are told will accept everyone and give them lots of free stuff to boot.

But Ahmed Hussen, Canada’s immigration minister, recently warned illegals that they shouldn’t waltz into Canada and necessarily expect to get cradle to the grave freebies, according to the New York Times.

Unruly neighbor: Canada complains to WTO, says US breached trade rules

A wide-ranging trade complaint has been filed by Canada against the US, accusing it of breaking international trade rules. The US, which has threatened to scrap trade deals between the two, has called the move “ill-advised.”

Canada’s complaint comes as its efforts continue to renegotiate the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).

The 32-page complaint challenges Washington's use of anti-dumping and anti-subsidy duties, according to the World Trade Organization (WTO). Ottawa has cited around 200 examples of alleged US wrongdoing, almost all of them concerning other trading partners too, such as China, India, Brazil and the European Union.

Canadian Foreign Minister Chrystia Freeland said the legal action was in response to “unfair and unwarranted” US duties against Canada's softwood lumber producers, and is part of a “broader litigation” to defend its forestry jobs.

DARWIN ROLLS OVER IN GRAVE AS CANADA ISSUES WARNING NOT TO EAT LAUNDRY PODS

Health Canada’s warning to not eat the laundry pods (designed to be thrown in a washing machine and wash clothes) surely has Charles Darwin spinning in his grave. It probably has others determined to take the warnings off of everything too, and let evolution handle things.

Let’s face it. If you have to be told NOT to eat soap, you’re probably already on a lower evolutionary rung than a fish. But that’s exactly what Health Canada thought their people needed. If we were Canadian, we wouldn’t know if we should be offended that the government thinks we are complete doofuses, or happy that those who may eat laundry pods can actually read enough and comprehend and heed a warning.

Classical Liberalism Strikes Out

Is the Trump presidency an example of liberalism’s decay, or a last gasp to save the system?

We can see how the attraction for a strong, blustering, iconoclastic leader would arise in this context. The appeal of Trump arose from the pervasive sense of helplessness by a broad swath of Americans, especially those who have suffered most from the dissolution of families, churches, communities, and a range of constitutive bonds. On the one hand, I see the effort to exert some control over our destiny – by demanding an economy that works for average citizens, by insisting that a national culture amount to more than borderless non-judgmentalism, and rejecting the “political correctness” accompanying a sexual revolution whose wreckage is accumulating exponentially – as a “last gasp,” as you put it, and even an admirable one.

Christmas Gifts – Good News from Around the World

The world is full of good news, suitable for Yuletide.

Merry Christmas to you, dear readers! It is a beautiful and serene time of hope, when the darkest time of the year is already behind us. Though the light is still not perceptible, but we know and feel that the change is coming.

The recent vote in the United Nations has been such a glimpse of light, a harbinger of Sun.

The U.N. General Assembly Rebukes the Trump Administration

It’s especially important for journalists to strive for genuine fairness and not act as if journalism is just another cover for partisan hatchetmen.

Greenwald noted, “So numerous are the false stories about Russia and Trump over the last year that I literally cannot list them all.”

Jerusalem in My Heart – Israel Shamir

The Palestinians do know and do remember, how they were thrown out of their homes, and how the Jews moved in.

Trump is not different from his predecessors. All American Presidents declared Jerusalem – the eternal united and indivisible capital of the Jewish state. Obama did it, and so did Bush. True, they said it while running for the office, and they avoided repeating the mantra while in the White House, but they never repudiated it, either.

Ninety out of a hundred US Senators approved of Trump’s statement. Ten abstained, probably being unable to support Trump for any reason at all. Still, it was a most-approved step of the President.

Time for the GOP to rally to President Trump and the agenda that won 2016

As evidenced by the outcomes of both the Virginia gubernatorial race and the Alabama Senate special election, no matter what, Democrat voters are going to be extremely motivated in 2018 to take back Congress.

For, this is no time to panic.

Instead, it is time for Republicans to rally to President Trump and the agenda that won the election in 2016. That is, cut taxes, repeal Obamacare, appoint conservative judges, get better trade deals, slash regulations, curb illegal immigration and build the southern border wall. Also, no bad deals on DACA amnesty. The wall is not enough; chain migration has to be ended.

Both phone calls took place after the American election. Neither had anything to do with possible collusion regarding the election.

The Flynn case is also a prime example of how the American security services have been politically corrupted, but it is unlikely that Mueller will have any interest in that aspect of the case as the investigation itself has become little more than a political witch hunt in which the Washington-New York Establishment is seeking to explain why its candidate lost in November.

Spies more free to use cellphone surveillance tech without warrant, under court ruling

A federal court judge has ruled that Canada's domestic spy agency can continue to use contentious cellphone surveillance devices without a warrant, in some cases.

For several years, the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) has used a device it calls a Cell Site Simulator (CSS) to collect information about cellphones and other cellular-capable devices — such as some laptops or tablets — during its national security investigations.

The devices are perhaps better known as IMSI Catchers or Stingrays, and pretend to be legitimate cellphone towers in order to collect information. Privacy advocates have long criticized the technology for how it indiscriminately gathers data, not merely on the subject of an investigation, but on all of the cellular devices in its operating radius.

DON’T DRINK THE WATER IN OTTAWA

I've known many Canadians over the years and even visited their beautiful country, and for the most part, found them to be a very "grounded" group of people, which leads me to think that maybe the proverbial "they" are putting something - LSD? oxycontin? - into the water supply at Parliament House in Ottawa, for ever since the lamentable advent of Mr. Trudeau on the scene, Canada appears to be in a race to establish Ottawa, and not Washington D.C., as the undisputed leader for the swampiest and kookiest place on the planet.
