Russian Navy to hold drills with China, Egypt, India this year — deputy commander

Russia’s Fleet will take part in a range of international naval exercises this year jointly with China, Egypt, India and other countries, the deputy commander-in-chief of Russian Navy said on Thursday.

"To continue work on strengthening ties with the naval forces of foreign countries in 2016 a number of joint drills have been planned: with the Navies of China, Egypt and India," Alexander Fedotenkov said.

Joint drills will also be held for the first time between Russia, Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan, he added.

Up to 3 killed, 17 other injured in Cairo bomb blast – security officials

Three policemen were killed in a bomb blast near a road that leads to the famous Giza pyramids in south-eastern Cairo on Thursday , security sources told Reuters. 17 people have been injured. The blast occurred as security forces arrived to a building to carry out a raid as there were suspected militants inside. Islamist militants have stepped up attacks targeting soldiers in retaliation for the army overthrowing President Mohammed Morsi of the Muslim Brotherhood in 2013.

Every false flag in the making is detected ahead of time by somebody’s intelligence services

Every false flag in the making is detected ahead of time by somebody’s intelligence services—usually more than one country—because spying today is so effective and so universal. Officials in possession of this secret information often pass it on to the country that’s targeted, in the sincere belief that a heads-up will be appreciated.

But often the information isn’t welcomed—-because the fix is already in. Treasonous assets within the targeted country’s chain of command, who are prepared for the possibility of a leak, take measures to block the information from reaching those who might act on it in a meaningful way.

Russian Red Scare No Longer Works

The EU has no-one else to blame for its present stresses and strains but itself, owing to its craven subservience to Washington's reckless policies.

The American and British governments are launching yet another media campaign to demonize Russia, with tall claims that the Kremlin is infiltrating European political parties and news media. The dastardly Russian aim, we are told, is to destroy the European Union.

Twenty-five years after the end of the Cold War and the dissolution of the Soviet Union, Washington and its trusty sidekick in London are desperately seeking to turn back the clock to the “good old days” when they could control their public through scare stories.

Democracy has been projected on to a fictitious screen of good guy and bad guys. The people watch as impotent spectators, no longer even aware of the real story out there.

Military Escalation: Egyptian Soldiers Arrive in Yemen to Join Saudi-led Coalition

About 800 Egyptian soldiers reportedly arrived Yemen to help the Saudi-led coalition’s forces on Jan.12. According to reports, 4 Egyptian units of 150-200 troops with tanks and transport vehicles will likely participate in military operations in the areas of Marib and Taiz.

In Aden, local security forces raided an unused warehouse near the port and found tons of weapons and ammunition apparently smuggled in by AQAP. The Hadi government calls civilians to report the suspected presence of AQAP men in the city.

Meanwhile, unidentified gunmen killed two traffic security officers in the city. The militants, riding motorbikes, shot and killed the two officers and their driver. The recent attacks show that the government security forces and the Saudi-led coalition can’t secure the city successfully.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The calling in of Egyptian troops is, perhaps, a sign that the Saudis are not doing all that well, militarily.

Cairo supports Russia’s actions in Syria — Egyptian foreign minister

"We believe in Russia’s ability to tell terrorist organizations from other targets," he said. The minister also noted that this stance "was not the exclusive right of the international anti-terrorist coalition, which includes the United States, Germany and which Egypt has joined." Speaking about the recent contracts with Russia on arms supplies, Shoukry pointed to "the existing strategic partnership between Egypt and the United States." "There is no alternative to US military aid to Egypt. However, we need to diversify our relations," he said.

"In any case, such incidents can have extremely negative consequences for the Egyptian tourism and nullify all the efforts of the authorities to attract foreign tourists to the country," he said.

Hillary Clinton Touts Overthrow of Gadhafi, but Doesn’t Mention That Clinton Foundation Donors Did Big Business in Tyrant’s Libya

On Saturday, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton again justified the 2011 U.S. policy of regime change in Libya, citing, at least in part, the fact that dictator Moammar Gadhafi had killed Americans.

“We have to continue to do what is necessary when someone like Gadhafi, a despot with American blood on his hands, is overturned,” Clinton said during the weekend’s Democratic presidential debate in Manchester, New Hampshire. “But I’ll tell you what would have happened if we had not joined with our European partners and our Arab partners to assist the people in Libya, you would be looking at Syria.”

But early in the administration, Clinton had championed an allegiance with the Libyan regime under Gadhafi, during a time when some of the major U.S. corporations doing business in Libya were also donating heavy sums to the Clinton Foundation.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Do not for a moment imagine that this "pay to play" mentality will suddenly leave her consciousness, if she is able to win (or steal) the election; it will simply continue, unabated. For her and Bill Clinton, inhabiting the White House is simply another way to make millions of dollars through her foundation, and the public be damned.

And this is why we have to bring her past behaviour to the unblinking gaze of documented fact, because, if in fact, past is prologue to the future, we can expect massive international interventionism from a second Clinton presidency.

And has anyone out there had the "male attributes" to ask her if the current post-Ghadaffi situation in Libya, which has been rife with civil war since 2011; whose leadership has been badly factionalised and has just this month created a basis for a national unity government, was the outcome she desired when she green-lit Ghadaffi's assassination?!?

And what about the reality that Libya has become a
second home to ISIS?!?

Because if all I have stated here were not the outcomes Clinton desired as Secretary of State, and were simply "unintended consequences" of her policies here, please consider Libya a thoroughly terrifying, but very real, "prequel" to what a Clinton presidency will look like.

Will Russia Buy 'Used' Mistrals From Egypt?

New cars are often offered at high fixed list prices set by the manufacturer. A trick car dealers use to circumvent such fixed list prices and to sell more cars is to "sell" the new car for a day or two to some strawmen. These cars are marketed as "demonstrator" or per-registrated cars. The "used car" is handed back to the dealer who sells it to the originally intended buyer for a price lower than the manufacturer's list price.

A somewhat similar trick, though not involving pricing, seems to be in the making for a set of interesting war ships:

Egyptian authorities ban publications on Egypt’s first NPPs

The Egyptian authorities on Monday banned publication of any articles on construction of Egypt’s first nuclear power plant in El Dabaa in which the Russian State Corporation for Atomic Energy (Rosatom) will take part. According to the MENA news agency, the distribution of this information is possible only with approval from Egypt’s security bodies and the office of the minister of electricity and renewable energy sources... According to the Egyptian media’s previous reports, the agreement is worth 25 billion U.S. dollars. The credit to be issued in 2016-2018 will make it possible to finance 85% of the total cost of works to erect the nuclear power plant. The Egyptian side is supposed to provide the remaining 15% out of its own sources. As it was originally announced, the payments will not be made from the state budget. All the expenses will be recovered through real production of electric energy to be generated by the station.

Hassanein Heikal: Saudi-Led Coalition Supporting ISIL

Egypt's veteran journalist and politician Muhammad Hassanein Heikal underlined that the so-called Saudi-led coalition against terrorism is comprised of countries that supply the ISIL with financial, arms and logistic support. "Some of the countries of this coalition are the most important supporters of the ISIL terrorist group," Heikal wrote on his Twitter account on Thursday. Heikal believes that the Saudi-led coalition has been formed without coordination (with the Arab states), in the absence of an ideology and without a specific mechanism; "it does not follow up an integrated and specific goal". "In fact, setting up the coalition is the only way to exit the bottleneck caused by the defeat of Saudi Arabia's 'Decisive Storm' operation against the Yemeni nation," the veteran journalist and politician added.

This isn’t a game, it’s a fight for survival; Russia’s survival as a sovereign country. That’s what the stakes are. That’s not something Putin takes lightly.

Would you be willing to defend your country against a foreign invasion?

That’s all Putin is doing in Syria. He’s just preempting the tidal wave of jihadis that’ll be coming his way once the current fracas is over. He figures it’s better to exterminate these US-backed maniacs in Syria now than face them in Chechnya, St Petersburg and Moscow sometime in the future. Can you blame him? After all, if Washington’s strategy works in Syria, then you can bet they’ll try the same thing in Beirut, Tehran and Moscow.

So what choice does Putin have?

Cheap oil puts the House of Saud at risk: Spengler

Saudi Arabia spends money like there’s no tomorrow. A new report from the International Monetary Fund suggests that there might not be a tomorrow for the House of Saud. Without massive spending cuts, the Kingdom will exhaust its monetary reserves in five years at current oil prices, the IMF reckons. Saudi Arabia is a rich country full of poor people, and the House of Saud has bought a lot of legitimacy by subsidizing its subjects. The dynasty might not survive the sort of austerity measures that the IMF insists are necessary to keep the Kingdom from running out of reserves by 2020. Egypt, now dependent on Saudi subsidies, also is at risk.

Open Rafah Now: Siege on Gaza Is a Cruel Failure

When Egypt decided to open the Rafah border crossing which separates it from Gaza for two days, December 3 and 4, a sense of guarded relief was felt in the impoverished Strip. True, 48 hours were hardly enough for the tens of thousands of patients, students and other travelers to leave or return to Gaza, but the idea that a respite was on its way helped to break, albeit slightly, the sense of collective captivity felt by entrapped Palestinians.

Of course, the Rafah border crisis will hardly be resolved by a single transitory decision, mainly because Gaza is blockaded for political reasons, and only a sensible political strategy can end the suffering there or, at least, lessen its horrendous impact.

The Nuremberg Principles

Can you smell the putrid aroma of bloody hypocrisy emanting from Foggy Bottom!

The main legal principles from the Nuremberg Trials were later declared general principles of international law by the United Nations: the “Nuremberg Principles.” With these principles, in 1950 the international community of nations demanded for the first time that crimes against international law should no longer go unpunished. From now on, no one should be above the law. The Nuremberg Trials and Nuremberg Principles thus laid the foundation for modern international criminal law.

Iranian Supreme Leader Sends Crucial Message to World Audience on Terrorism

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei released an important message to the world youth on global terrorism, including the recent terrorist attacks in Paris.
Here is the full text of the letter:
In the Name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful

To the Youth in Western Countries,
Today, there are very few people who are uninformed about the role of the United States of America in creating, nurturing and arming al-Qaeda, the Taliban and their inauspicious successors. Besides this direct support, the overt and well-known supporters of takfiri terrorism- despite having the most backward political systems- are standing arrayed as allies of the west while the most pioneering, brightest and most dynamic democrats in the region are suppressed mercilessly.
The other side of these contradictory policies is seen in supporting the state terrorism of Israel.

Meet the man who funds ISIS: the son of Turkey’s President, Bilal Erdogan

The son of Turkey’s president (and thus, the father) is the silent mastermind who has been responsible for converting millions of barrels of Syrian Oil into hundreds of millions of dollars of Islamic State revenue.

Russia’s Sergey Lavrov is not one foreign minister known to mince his words.

Just earlier today, 24 hours after a Russian plane was brought down by the country whose president three years ago said “a short-term border violation can never be a pretext for an attack”, had this to say:

“We have serious doubts this was an unintended incident and believe this is a planned provocation” by Turkey.

But even that was tame compared to what Lavrov said to his Turkish counterparty Mevlut Cavusoglu earlier today during a phone call between the two (Lavrov who was supposed to travel to Turkey has since canceled such plans).

An Invisible US Hand Leading to War? Turkey’s Downing of a Russian Jet was an Act of Madness

It is all terribly dangerous and it is hard to predict where things will lead.

This outrageous shootdown of a Russian plane that was in no way posing a threat to Turkey or Turkish forces, will not end here, because Russia and President Putin cannot allow Turkey and NATO to so blatantly act against Russia and its pilots and go unpunished, particularly as it is Russia that is acting legally in Syria, while the US, Turkey and other nations backing rebel forces there are in all acting blatant violation of international law.

Unless saner heads start prevailing in Washington, this could all quickly spiral into the kind of situation in 1914, where a lot of ill-conceived treaties led to a minor incident in the Balkans turning inexorably into World War I.

Is Turkey Starting a Proxi-War for NATO?

It is clear, Turkey hosting the recent G20 meeting and subscribing to the east-west ‘coalition’ of fighting the ISIS / DAESH / Al Qaeda terror, was a loosely disguised farce.

Did Turkey just provoke a proxi-war on behalf of NATO against Russia? – Turkey knew very well that the Russian SU-24 fighter jet was inside Syria’s borders and that even as it may have been close to Turkey it was no threat for Turkey. Russia’s mission was clear to all the 19 nations which attended the G20 meeting some 10 days ago in Antalya, Turkey, when the entire group unanimously decided to cooperate in fighting the Islamic State (IS – or Daesh, according to its Arabic acronym).

Turkey Shoots Down More Than Just a Russian Jet

It is only a matter of time before the rhetorical shell game conducted by the terrorist sponsors comes unstuck.

Turkey’s shooting down of a Russian fighter jet this week was likely aimed at a bigger political target – to deal a blow to the proposal of a grand anti-terror coalition between the West and Russia for fighting the Islamic State extremist network in Syria.

Such a coalition might seem reasonable, even desirable, to most people. But it is profoundly unacceptable, tacitly, to Washington because it would further expose the criminal nature of the Western-sponsored regime-change operation in Syria.

Washington and its allies do not want Russia to participate in an effective military coalition that would accelerate the destruction of the mercenary terror army that the Western powers have covertly invested in. In that regard, French President Francois Hollande seems to have momentarily lost the devious plot by proposing such an alliance with Russia.

The double-edged sword of cyber warfare

Kind of in your face aren't they!

One week after the Israeli army formally recognized cyber weapons as a fourth dimension of warfare, alongside land, air and sea, the defense minister on Wednesday sang the praises of digital weapons, saying that they can attack and conquer enemy assets without leaving a trace.

“Cyberspace enables the attack of another nation state in offensive action, even reaching victory without leaving any fingerprints, even if it is suspected,” Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon said Wednesday at the fifth annual Cyber Security Conference at Tel Aviv University, according to a conference statement. “We are already there; we are not talking about some distant future. We have experienced this in Israel’s day-to-day actions against its enemies.”

The reference to offensive action was somewhat rare and it came just two weeks after Israel was fingered as a suspect in a cyberattack against participants in the nuclear negotiations with Iran.

Flashback: Did Money Seal Israeli-Saudi Alliance?

According to a source briefed by U.S. intelligence analysts, the Saudis have given Israel at least $16 billion over the past 2 ½ years, funneling the money through a third-country Arab state and into an Israeli “development” account in Europe to help finance infrastructure inside Israel. The source first called the account “a Netanyahu slush fund,” but later refined that characterization, saying the money was used for public projects such as building settlements in the West Bank.

In other words, according to this information, the Saudis concluded that if you can’t beat the Israel Lobby, try buying it. And, if that is the case, the Saudis have found their behind-the-scenes collaboration with Israel extremely valuable. Netanyahu has played a key role in lining up the U.S. Congress to fight an international agreement to resolve a long-running dispute over Iran’s nuclear program.

Russia Says Bomb Downed Plane in Egypt and Intensifies Attacks on ISIS

Russia said for the first time on Tuesday that a bomb aboard a Russian charter jet full of vacationers caused the aircraft’s destruction more than two weeks ago over Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula, and the Kremlin responded immediately by escalating airstrikes across Syria.

The Russians said they were coordinating their military campaign with France in sharply ratcheting up attacks on Syrian territory, especially areas held by the Islamic State, the militant group that has asserted responsibility for destroying the Russian jetliner and for the spree of deadly attacks across Paris on Friday.

Airbus 321 in the Sinaï - only one hypothesis remains

Russian investigators brought with them to Egypt a complex apparatus designed to test the débris both inside and outside the plane. This equipment enables the detection of aerosol-based explosives to a level of sensitivity of 20 nanogrammes. If, in the test solutions, there appear traces of a brown-violet colour, the agent is revealed as TNT. If an orange precipitate appears, the explosive is Tetryl, or another explosive from group A (TNB, DNT, picric acid, etc.). The Russian device possesses a range of separate tests for explosives from group B. With this system, the appearance in test solutions of a rosy colour would indicate the use of dynamite, nitroglycerine, RDX, PETN, SEMTEX or nitrocellulose. If the chemical reactions do not identify explosives from groups A and B, the test equipment automatically checks for the presence of components containing inorganic nitrates, such as chlorine, bromine or peroxyde, used in the preparation of improvised explosive devices (ANFO).

US: Sinai Plane Bomb Likely Used Military-Grade Explosives

US officials, carrying out their own investigation into the bombing of a Russian Metrojet in the Sinai Peninsula despite not having access to the crash site or any of the direct evidence, say that they BELIEVE bringing down the plane would’ve required a “military-grade” explosive, likely something along the lines of C4.

US and British officials are expressing annoyance at not having been invited to directly participate in the investigation with Russia and Egypt, and warn that they may never be given enough access to independently determine exactly what happened.

Memo to the US and UK governments; belief is neither evidence nor proof; and if the Egyptian and Russian governments are uncomfortable giving you access to the actual forensics work going on, you have earned their distrust by consistently wanting the alleged "results" to conform to your geopolitical narrative, whether it is actually true...or not.

Israeli Intelligence Helped Pinpoint ISIS Role in Sinai Plane Crash

The communications between ISIS affiliates in Sinai were captured by Israeli intelligence focused there and passed along to the United States and Britain, the sources said.

Webmaster's Commentary:

That the same Israeli Intelligence that told us Egypt was attacking the USS Liberty?

Sharm el-Sheikh: Catastrophic flaw in intelligence sharing?

The British authorities knew that Sharm el-Sheikh airport security was weak ten months ago. So much so that they sent a team of experts to bolster screening measures. Stories abound of tourists paying twenty pounds to avoid security checks, a few weeks ago. Chatter was picked up that ISIL was planning a terrorist attack. So why was this not shared with the Russians?

Webmaster's Commentary:

Two possibilities.

1. The British just made up the story about weak security and ISIS chatter to sell the ISIS terrorist bomb story.

2. The British wanted the security weak so that someone such as Israel could get a bomb on board the airplane!

Britain cannot share all information on A321 crash in Egypt — foreign affairs secretary

British Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs Philip Hammond said Britain had shared everything it could and could not provide any further details due to obvious reasons

Webmaster's Commentary:

"Just take our word for it. We, who are not part of the actual investigation in Egypt, know beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Metrojet was brought down by a terrorist bomb, and Russia should leave Syria and Iraq so we can invade and punish the terrorists in Syria and Iraq, even though the terror attack was in Egypt and it was Russia's plane. Really. Honest! No kidding!" -- Number 9 3/4

Early ‘US, UK Intel’ on Sinai Plane Bombing Came From Israel

In the hours after the downing of a Russian airliners over Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula, there was little to no intelligence comment from Western nations. It was only a few days later that they started giving credence to the idea that ISIS, who immediately claimed credit, was actually responsible.

It now appears that the intelligence they suddenly had on the bombing wasn’t internally gathered, as US diplomatic sources say Israel actually provided the two nations with intelligence of their own about the matter. Israel is so far not offering additional details.

Webmaster's Commentary:

So, if there was a bomb, Israel is number one on the list of suspects!

Russian tourists without Egypt: No drama

Employees of the tourist industry of the Egyptian resort of Sharm el-Sheikh are confident that they will all find themselves unemployed, should the Russians refuse to come to the resort. According to representatives of tourist industry in Sharm el-Sheikh, Russian tourists normally make 50 percent of all bookings at Egyptian hotels, especially during the holiday season.
But this situation is not new for Egypt. Such events took place in 2011, when flights were interrupted for up to three months...

Russian rescuers, working at the site, gave to the experts photo and video materials they made on the site. "The experts met head of the emergencies ministry’s group and discussed further actions".

The Airbus Crash in Egypt

U.S. AND BRITISH OFFICIALS are now saying, at least tentatively, that an explosive device likely downed the Kogalymavia Airbus over the Sinai peninsula last weekend. The thinking is that the local Sinai affiliate of the Islamic State group, better known as ISIS, placed a bomb on board the A321 prior to its departure from the Red Sea resort of Sharm-el-Sheikh.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Note there are no statements from the Egyptian or Russian investigators.

Israel Held ‘Largest Ever’ Air Combat Drill Nearby, On Same Day as Russian Sinai Crash

Last week, 21WIRE raised a number of the questions, including the possibility that Israeli intelligence could have been involved in the downing of Russian Metro Airlines Flight 7K9268.

It’s no revelation that the Egyptian resort destination of Sharm El-Sheikh is also a well-known Israeli Mossad ‘intelligence playground’. If indeed Israeli covert operatives were somehow involved in this incident, it wouldn’t be the first time that Israel carried out a false flag attack in order to manipulate another nation into a wider war. The case of Israel’s attack on the USS Liberty is a prime example of this.

The Infamous Video of an Aircraft Exploding in Air at High Altitude and the “Big Chutzpah” Construct

While the concept of the “Big Lie” is based on the idea that (nearly) everyone will believe a major fabrication that is completely untrue because these heavily conditioned people couldn’t possibly imagine that their government would dare lie to them so blatantly about something so important, viewers of the video may have been subjected to the opposite phenomenon, namely “Big Chutzpah”, the raw truth presented right in your face in such a brazen way that (nearly) everyone will still refuse to believe it because these people cannot possibly imagine that the Israeli government would dare to actually do something like that.

BEX ALERT - White House says Obama has intel about bomb causing Russian plane crash

President Obama’s observation that a bomb may have downed a Russian plane in Egypt was based on specific information gathered by U.S. authorities, the White House said Friday.

“Information that is known by the U.S. government led the president to make that statement,” White House press secretary Josh Earnest told reporters.

Report: Black boxes show bomb brought down Russian jet

The investigators said the cockpit voice recorder of Metrojet Flight 9268 shows an explosion and the flight data recorder confirms the explosion is not accidental -- there is no sign of mechanical malfunction during the initial part of the flight, France 2 reported.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Once again these are secondary sources and not the official conclusions of the actual investigators.

If a bomb went off inside the plane, then it was planted by someone who was allowed to bypass the filter of airport security. Now who would do a thing like that?

Western Media's Despicable Justification of Terrorism

This week frustration with the Western media narrative has turned much darker - the despicable reaction of many media commentators to the tragic deaths of 224 innocent people in the Russian plane crash in Sinai has now turned that frustration to intense anger. Far from this being an occasion to take a step back and ask 'what are we doing that has led to this?' - following on from widespread suspicion that this crash was no accident, those commentators have already framed it as a response to Russia's actions in Syria and Ukraine - even a justified response.

BEX ALERT - Rocket 'attack' on UK tour jet: Pilot with 189 passengers dodged missile above Sharm El Sheikh in August with just 'seconds to spare from disaster'

A British plane carrying 189 passengers came 'within 1,000ft' of a rocket as it approached Sharm El Sheikh, it emerged last night.

The Thomson flight from London Stansted only took evasive action after the pilot spotted the missile speeding through the air.

The jet landed safely, and holidaymakers were not told they had been seconds from disaster.

Putin Tells Everyone Exactly Who Created ISIS

American people rarely listen to Putin’s speeches. Few opportunities to do so unless they go looking for it; They just assume their media is right and Putin‘s a “brutal dictator” who’s “trying to re-establish the Soviet empire”, end of story.

In western media Putin could soon find himself painted as the new combination Hitler/Stalin in a looming WWIII—another so-called “just war” which US will be “morally compelled to fight”, to “save the world from tyranny”. Christian dominionists will be calling it Armageddon—the final battle between Good and Evil before the return of the King!

Syria – Vienna-Geneva Peace Talks, an exploded Russian Airliner – and NATO-Trident Juncture

Why a foreign imposed transition? Transition seems to become a propaganda indoctrinated fait accompli.

Washington has been quite successful in its wicked embrace of Syria over the last few weeks. Just imagine, Kerry, in a propaganda-painted gesture of goodwill, forges the Vienna Peace Conference, this past Friday, 30 October. The results are inconclusive, but on to more talks in Geneva; no longer ‘Assad must go’, but rather the concession that “Assad is going to be part of any transitional governing body.” – Why a foreign imposed transition? Transition seems to become a propaganda indoctrinated fait accompli.

Why British Haste on Plane Bomb Theory?

Cameron and Obama are evidently being fed intelligence assessments of a bomb being stowed in the airplane's hold by terrorists.

British officials have made an unseemly leap to speculate on a terrorist plot in the Russian airliner crash over Sinai last weekend.

And Russia has understandably reacted furiously to the speculation, saying that it is too early to make such an assessment when crash investigators have not even compiled, let alone evaluated, evidence.

American officials, including President Barack Obama, are also now echoing the British claims of a bomb on the plane. The question is: why the haste?

NATO Invades Spain

The notion that the Pentagon would dare declare its own no-fly zone over northern Syria to protect a gaggle of “moderate rebels” from Russian and Syrian Arab Army (SAA) bombing is preposterous.

Fresh from its thunderous humiliation by the Taliban; its “liberation” of Libya for the benefit of militia hell; and while Russia was bombing the hell out of a Salafi-jihadi/”moderate rebel” constellation in Syria, NATO – in search for a “360-degree” response to Russia – resorted to invading… Spain.
