A German medical law specialist who launched a rigorous fight against government-mandated coronavirus lockdown rules was taken to a mental health facility after expressing fears she was being targeted by ‘killers.’

There we were, reading the transcript of NATO GenSec Stoltenburg’s pre-meeting presser

Then, after he had said what he wanted to say, Stoltenberg took questions via Skype and WhatsApp. Eventually, Teri Schultz from Deutsche Welle asked:

“do Allies have some responsibility in allowing Russia and China to have used that space early, to make these claims about NATO responsibility and effectiveness and the other disinformation that’s being put out right now?”

Apparently disappointed that Jens had not slammed Russia and China yet. No joy. In his reply, at some length, he did not so much as mention Russa! And Jens’ answer left the German press unsatisfied.

German state minister kills himself as coronavirus hits economy

Thomas Schaefer, the finance minister of Germany's Hesse state, has committed suicide apparently after becoming "deeply worried" over how to cope with the economic fallout from the coronavirus, state premier Volker Bouffier said on Sunday.

Schaefer, 54, was found dead near a railway track on Saturday. The Wiesbaden prosecution's office said they believe he died by suicide.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The last note in his wikipedia bio ends with the following statement:

He was survived by his wife and two children."

"Suicide" is a polite way to characterize a process of political extermination against people who know, or say, too much, as "l'encouragement pour les autres" (Encouragement for the others) not to do this.

IF a true, forensic autopsy were to be performed, I doubt like hell that "suicide" will be named as the actual cause of his death; and were I a betting person, I would almost be willing to bet that his widow is getting one, huge pile-up of pressure, not to allow this to happen.

Bavaria on lockdown: First German state to 'shut down public life almost completely' for 2 weeks in bid to stop Covid-19

Bavaria will introduce tight restrictions on movement for two weeks in the hope of containing the Covid-19 pandemic that has seized Europe, making it the first German state to introduce a lockdown.

The strict measures include the closure of restaurants and bars, and bans large gatherings. People are urged to not leave their homes unless they are going to work, visiting the doctor, or buying groceries and medicine. Limited outdoor activity is still allowed but only alone or with a family member.

"We're shutting down public life almost completely," he said while announcing the extreme new measures.

Germany to block foreign takeovers, protect domestic companies – top politicians

Germany will protect domestic firms from foreign takeovers, two leading politicians said on Friday, after company valuations in Europe’s largest economy have been hammered by the coronavirus pandemic. Ministers have already promised liquidity support to businesses, and introduced measures making it easier to reduce working hours rather than lay off workers.

Germany’s blue-chip DAX index, which comprises the country’s 30 largest listed corporations, has plunged by more than a third over the past month. This has increased the risk of foreign companies snapping up rivals at a discount.

“We will avoid a sell-out of German economic and industrial concerns. There cannot be any taboos. Temporary and limited state support as well as participation and takeovers need to be possible,” Economy Minister Peter Altmaier said.

Why Is Italy a Target?

In "The Conspirators' Hierarchy: the Committee of 300", (1992) John Coleman said the first two targets of the Illuminati are US and Italy: the first because US is the most powerful and richest nation in the World; the second for its long Catholic tradition and its central place in western civilization.

Until the 80's, Italy was the fourth economy in the World. Only US, Japan and Germany were more powerful. Then, Italy had 9 hospital beds per 100.000 people. The North of the country had really the best health care system in the World when I was a child. If this coronavirus epidemic had happened in the 80's, Italy could have the possibility to manage the situation without draconian measures. But now, after the budget limitations imposed by European Union, even if Italy is a net contributor for it (we give Europe Union more money than we receive), we were forced to cut the budget for our national health care system which now is close to collapse.

German Public: Washington’s New Moves In Europe Unnecessary

The new American-led “Defender of Europe” exercise, which is months long and lasts from February until July, involves over 20,000 American troops – more than those of all its NATO allies put together, and more than at any time in the past quarter-century.

Although United States officials do not say it is designed to counter the mythical Russian threat, the demonstration of US force capability comes after years of piecemeal reinforcements of NATO’s eastern flank following Russia’s reunification with Crimea in March 2014.

It is no coincidence that Germany was chosen as the main site for the exercises. It’s no less remarkable that 20,000 troops, passing through Germany, will be relocated to Poland. It’s well known that Poland is an outpost of the anti-Russian policy of the West and a conductor of US ideas. These teachings are also one of the ways of imposing moral, if not military, pressure, and not so much on Russia as on Europe.

A new instance of the deadly infection confirmed in the state of Nordrhein-Westfalen on Tuesday brought to 18 the number of cases recorded in Germany.

Spahn claimed earlier that “detection and containment” efforts in Europe were working to hold back the spread of the virus, but an explosion of cases in northern Italy and at least 13 other European countries have forced him to reevaluate the situation. At his last press conference on Tuesday, Spahn admitted “it could get worse before it gets better.”

Beyond Ukraine: America’s Coming (Losing) Battle for Eurasia

by Maj. Danny Sjursen, USA (ret.) Posted on February 06, 2020

Academic historians reject anything smacking of inevitably. Instead they emphasize the contingency of events as manifested through the inherent agency of human beings and the countless decisions they make. On the merits, such scholars are basically correct. That said, there was something – if not inevitable – highly probable, almost (forgive me) deterministic about the two cataclysmic world wars of the 20th century. Both, in retrospect, were driven, in large part, by collective – particularly Western – nations’ adherence to a series of geopolitical philosophies.

Authored by Paul Joseph Watson via Summit News,A German panel of linguists which decides on a new word to ‘ban’ every year has announced the ‘un-wording’ of the term “climate hysteria” because it undermines propaganda about man-made global warming.

First of all, just let it sink in that there is an organization comprised of linguists which exists solely to ‘ban’ words and terms that they don’t like. Their action is known as ‘Un-word of the year’.

They’re literally attempting to re-create 1984’s Newspeak dictionary, which shrank in size year after year in order to eliminate language and limit free thought and free speech, making it harder for the plebs to vocalize their opposition to The Party.

As you may have suspected, every word or term already ‘banned’ by the group in recent years are ones used by conservatives to challenge leftist political tropes. Imagine my shock.

Terms ‘un-worded’ in recent years include “alternative facts,” “do-gooder,” “Lügenpresse” (liar press) and “welfare tourism” (referring to “foreigners in Germany allegedly leeching on the welfare system.”)

The panel says it exists to discourage the use of words that “discriminate against societal groups or may be euphemistic, disguising or misleading.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

Absoflippinglutely unbelievable, yet thoroughly predictable, courtesy of the German "Word Police".

Because when a narrative does not jive with the science facts of what is happening with the earth's climate, that narrative has to be confined, condemned, crushed, and restrained, so that no one will hear anything approximating a what is tantamount to a dangerously reasonable challenge to the status quo belief.

George Orwell was much more than a brilliant writer; he was a prophet of the highest order, and now that we see his societal prophecies taking shape, both in this country, and the world, at absolutely beyond warp speed, we recognise how completely dystopian this world has become.

THE QUESTIONS NO ONE CAN ANSWER

The question that challenges the shrewdest philosophers and prophets is how the world will respond when the holocaust narrative is no longer considered believable. What happens when the holocaust is regarded as far-fetched as Santa Claus, an illusion as is the fable of Emperor’s New Clothes by Hans Christian Andersen.

President Trump DID threaten Britain, France and Germany with 25% tariff on car exports if they did not wage diplomatic war with Iran over broken nuclear deal, German defense minister claims

By Jack Elsom For Mailonline

Donald Trump tried to strong-arm Britain and its European allies into waging diplomatic war with Iran by threatening to impose 25 per cent tariffs on their lucrative car exports, the German defense minister revealed yesterday.

The US President was piling pressure on Boris Johnson, Angela Merkel and Emmanuel Macron to formally accuse Tehran of violating the 2015 nuclear deal.

At a press conference in London yesterday, Germany's Annegret Kramp-Karrenbauer confirmed reports of such economic threats and said: 'This expression or threat, as you will, does exist.'

A 25 per cent tax on cars would particularly hurt Germany, which exports around £23billion worth of vehicles across the Atlantic each year.

US strategy and what the gas pipeline war is costing us

Although they were locked in a convoluted struggle concerning the impeachment of President Trump, Republicans and Democrats in the Senate laid down their arms in order to vote, in quasi-unanimity, for the imposition of heavy sanctions on the companies participating in the construction of North Stream 2, the doubling of the gas pipeline which delivers Russian gas to Germany across the Baltic Sea. The main victims were the European companies which had helped finance the 11 billion dollar project with the Russian company Gazprom. The project is now 80 % finished. The Austrian company Omy, British/Dutch Royal Dutch Shell, French Engie, German companies Uniper and Wintershall, Italian Saipem and Swiss Allseas are also taking part in the laying of the pipeline.

Nord Stream 2 – US Sanctions – Trump’s Economic Suicide?

Does Mr. Trump really not grasp that his sanctions left and right – and now on the Russian-German gas pipeline Nord Stream 2 – is committing economic suicide, not for himself, of course, but for the United States? He attempts to punish not only Russia, but all the corporations, construction companies, Russian, German and from everywhere, which collaborated and are still working on the final stretch of the1,250 km pipeline.

Putin & Merkel agree to keep supporting Nord Stream 2 project amid sanctions pressure from Washington

President Vladimir Putin and Chancellor Angela Merkel have reiterated their support for the Nord Stream 2 natural gas pipeline from Russia to Germany, the Kremlin says, as the US seeks to curb the project with sanctions.

“The attitude for further support of the Nord Stream 2 project was confirmed” during a phone call which was initiated by the German side on Sunday, according to a statement on the Kremlin website.

‘Climate tariffs’ on fracked ‘molecules of freedom’: German think tank wants to punish US for sanctions against Nord Stream 2

Claudia Kemfert, an economist at the German Institute for Economic Research (DIW), has argued that Nord Stream 2 is “environmentally harmful, economically unnecessary and financially unprofitable” – but described the US sanctions as “unacceptable” and requiring a response from the EU.

"Europe should consider imposing climate tariffs on the United States so that environmentally harmful fracking gas cannot be exported from the United States to Germany and Europe"

While the government in Berlin has expressed“regret” over US “interference in our domestic affairs,” it has done nothing to counter it. Kemfert’s initiative, first mentioned in the daily Handelsblatt earlier this week, appears to be the only proposed reprisal so far.

Nordstream Sanctions a Sad Coda to U.S. Foreign Policy

The U.S. crossed the Rubicon this week. And I’m not talking about the ridiculous impeachment of President Trump for doing his job.

I’m talking about passing the NDAA with provisions to sanction ‘from hell’ anyone associated with completion of the Nordstream 2 pipeline. The U.S. is now openly dismissive as a matter of law any ally or partner who engages in economic activity it disapproves of.

German Greens Propose Giving Passports to All ‘Climate Refugees’

Members of the German Green Party have proposed that so-called “climate refugees” should be allowed to move to the country and receive a German passport upon their arrival.

The proposal was championed by long-time Green politician Claudia Roth who said the passports should be made available for people in areas such as various Pacific islands, which she said could be threatened by climate change, German tabloid Bild reports.

How many “climate refugees” such a policy would cover is unclear, although the United Nations has previously claimed that there could be as many 25 million to over a billion people affected by climate change by the year 2050.

According to the Greens, the World Bank has put out the number of 140 million climate refugees by 2050 from just South Asia, South America, and Africa, all of which would theoretically be eligible for a German passport under the proposal.

Germany ‘won’t back down’ under threat of US sanctions over Nord Stream 2 pipeline with Russia – Merkel

Chancellor Angela Merkel has insisted that Berlin will not give into pressure from Washington after the US Senate approved a bill sanctioning German companies working on a pipeline that will deliver natural gas from Russia.
During Wednesday’s Q&A session in parliament, lawmakers asked Merkel about the possibility of the US slapping sanctions on German companies building the Nord Stream 2 pipeline.

The chancellor said that she firmly opposes such sanctions because they have an extraterritorial effect. They will not push Berlin to abandon the project, however, she said.

Webmaster's Commentary:

As the American comedian Ron White frequently mentions, "You can't fix stupid."

And in terms of being one of the most ham-fistedly, pig-headedly idiotic things President Trump could have possibly done, just after attempting to shake down NATO members for more money, President Trump wins the crown for complete, abysmal stupidity, relative to both Germany and Europe, with this move.

Deutsche Bahn in Trouble With Berlin Authorities After Exposing Greta Thunberg ‘Train Bluff‘

After the teen climate activist tweeted a picture of herself sitting on the floor of an “overcrowded train” in Germany, the transportation giant reprimanded her for holding back that she had a first-class ticket. As it turned out, Deutsche Bahn might have revealed a bit too much information about her trip.

The German train giant Deutsche Bahn has been called to Berlin’s data protection officer over its sarcastic response to climate activist Greta Thunberg’s tweet about “overcrowded trains”, German media report. Maja Smoltczyk, tasked with watching out for citizens’ privacy, has intervened as the company revealed the teenager’s travel data.

As the official’s spokesman told Tagesspiegel, this fact would lead to “a conversation with Deutsche Bahn about handling passenger rights with regard to personal travel data”. The appointment is planned for within the next few weeks.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This teenager is very adept in manipulating the media; and they just got pilloried... again, by this story!!

America’s illegal alien population is three times Europe’s

American conservatives are concerned that we are a step or two behind Europe in committing open-borders suicide. But if you actually look at the numbers, in many respects America is blazing the trail to destruction much more swiftly than Europe.

A recent Pew Research report estimated the entire illegal immigrant population of Europe is 3.9-4.8 million. That is for an entire continent of 747 million people. The U.S. is less than half the size, yet the estimates of the illegal alien population range from 11 million to as high as 22 million.

Germany Tells US to ‘Mind Its Own Business’ as Congress Votes in Sanctions on Nord Stream Companies

I keep hearing how Russia and China are not allies because they aren’t as close and don’t have a formal treaty like the US and its European NATO “allies”. Well at least Russia and China don’t sanction each other’s economies. In fact it is the US and Germany which are not allies, that’s because the Empire does not have allies, only clients. The difference between the two being precisely that allies are entitled to their own separate interests where client states are not.

Germany rejects any extraterritorial sanctions against Russia's Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline – Foreign Ministry

Berlin has reaffirmed its support for the Russia-led gas pipeline despite the threat of new US sanctions against European firms involved in the project. Nord Stream 2 will be completed, the Foreign Ministry said on Thursday.

"European energy policy is decided in Europe, not the United States. We reject any outside interventions and extraterritorial sanctions," said German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas.

The statement comes amid looming US sanctions against the project, that were recently added to US 2020 National Defence Authorisation Act, which is up for approval before Christmas.

If approved by the US Congress, the act would allow the Trump administration to sanction companies involved in Russian gas pipeline projects.

Pence Urged Merkel to Send German Navy Into Russian Territorial Waters

This is insane. The west is led by simpletons without any idea of the gravity of the actions they’re proposing. Bloomberg reports that US Vice President urged the Germans to sail their warships through the Kerch Strait:

The U.S. leaned on German Chancellor Angela Merkel last month to conduct a naval maneuver in Russia’s backyard aimed at provoking President Vladimir Putin, according to three people familiar with the talks.

At a Feb. 16 meeting at the Munich Security Conference, U.S. Vice President Mike Pence urged Merkel to send German warships through a narrow channel between the Crimean peninsula and mainland Russia to show Putin that Western powers won’t surrender their access to those waters, according to the officials, who spoke on condition of anonymity.
