Is fascist America ready for total war against Russia and China?

The debate to mark the 70th anniversary of victory over fascism and the adoption of the UN Charter has recently taken part in New York. Yet, fascism as the destruction of a certain category of humans for the sake of exceptionalism of another category of humans has become the state ideology of the United States. To make matters worse, the UN does not fulfill its functions of a peacemaker.

War in Ukraine will continue in Europe

"I do not think that Poroshenko took part in the negotiations and signed the documents on the basis of his own position. Most likely, this was due to the influence of the real situation. In Debaltseve, by the way, the 128th Infantry Brigade was stationed. According to various sources, there was a NATO unit there too. Most likely, this urgency of the talks and Kiev's pliability were based on that. When the Ukrainian leaders see that they are about the fail, they negotiate.

"The United States did not take part in the talks directly, but the Americans expressed their position through Poroshenko, Merkel and Hollande. The word "federalism" that Poroshenko said in Munich obviously came from the United States.

Callsign: Arkanghel

If there was a way to arouse the Russian bear and make him lose its charm for the West, this was just put Nazism under his nose. It should be no need to mention the millions of deaths that Nazism has caused to the Russian people and to all the peoples involved in the carnage of World War II. It should not, but recent events have shown us just the opposite. We have all seen the swastikas that were flaunted with pride during the insurrection in Ukraine against the government of Viktor Yanukovych, a government that the Americans had already recognized as legitimate in the aftermath of his inauguration. We've all seen arms outstretched in the roman salute, the gangs potted glorifying Nazi Stephan Bandera. We have all witnessed the killing of helpless men and helpless women guilty of being Russians, of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.

Rods, sticks, chains, knives. Molotov cocktails. But even snipers who fired on the crowd.

Ukraine Prepares for an Attack Against Russia

The post-coup leaders of Ukraine have routinely said that Ukraine should destroy Russia; and, now, starting on February 24th, they are placing into position the key prerequisite for doing so, which is the advanced Anti-Ballistic-Missile, or ABM, system, S-300, which is described as follows by wikipedia:

“The S-300 is regarded as one of the most potent anti-aircraft missile systems currently fielded.[3] Its radars have the ability to simultaneously track up to 100 targets while engaging up to 12/24/36 targets. The S-300 deployment time is five minutes.[3] The S-300 missiles are sealed rounds and require no maintenance over their lifetime. An evolved version of the S-300 system is the S-400 (NATO reporting name SA-21 Growler), which entered limited service in 2004.”

The rapid devaluation of the hryvnia has triggered a panic amongst Ukrainian consumers, prompting people to “storm” supermarkets and pharmacies.

The Ukrainian currency has already lost 70 percent of its value, triggering a “consumer panic” in the country. Canada Quietly Tiptoeing into Ukraine Civil War

As debate over Canada’s role in the latest Iraq war rages, Ottawa is quietly being drawn into a second, more dangerous, conflict.

That second war is in Ukraine. The U.S. and Britain are sending military advisers there to help Ukraine’s embattled central government fight Moscow-backed secessionists. Defence Minister Jason Kenney says Canada might do the same.

Kenney told both Global News and the CBC that any Canadian soldiers in Ukraine would stay far away from the fighting.

This, of course, is the same assurance that the government gave last fall when it dispatched 69 commandos to advise Kurdish troops in Iraq. As it turned out, those advisers did end up under fire on the front lines.

Amid doubts, truce in Ukraine appears to largely hold

Over the weekend, the Obama administration released satellite images that it said showed the Russian army had joined the pro-Russian separatists in their efforts to encircle Debaltseve and take the city, supplying artillery systems and multiple-rocket launchers to the area. It was impossible to independently verify the grainy black-and-white satellite images posted to Twitter by the U.S. ambassador, Geoffrey Pyatt.

Ukraine's 128th Brigade commander blamed for losing state-of-the-art US-supplied equipment

“The most scandalous is the fact that the units of the 128th Brigade abandoned the latest US counter-mortar radar which was supplied to us only recently. It was the first delivery of precision US weaponry to Ukraine. The radar was well packed, and I hope that at least they had some opportunity to use it. It was a unique, expensive weapon which they abandoned. It suggests the withdrawal was not conducted in accordance with any plans, there was no preparation for it, and the brigade commander who exited the cauldron before his soldiers who were coming out for the next two days, received the Hero of Ukraine award. If this is how one encourages the proper treatment of soldiers and toward military equipment, then what can I say?” Butusov said.

A Ukrainian's Letter to John Kerry

I am a citizen of Ukraine – a poor country, located in Eastern Europe. They say that George Bush Jr. couldn’t find it on the map. Maybe that’s why the war here began only now, after Yugoslavia, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Syria and other countries were freed from authoritarianism and to which the great USA brought democracy and prosperity.

But our time has now come. Desperate Ukraine is becoming more and more like the good old USA of your youth – the USA of Senator Joseph McCarty, Dr. Strangelove and the war in Vietnam. Our economy is in deep crisis, the Euromaidan ‘reforms’ are bringing catastrophic success, and the army is heroically retreating before the enemy.

Three Fronts For Russia: How Washington Will Fan The Flames Of Chaos In Central Asia

2015 will be marked by preparations for widespread destabilization in Central Asia and the transformation of AfPak into an Islamic State subsidiary on the borders of Russia, India, China, and Iran. The start of full-scale war, which will inevitably follow once chaos engulfs the region, will lead to a bloodbath in the “Eurasian Balkans,” automatically involving more than a third of the world’s population and almost all the United States’ geopolitical rivals. It’s an opportunity Washington will find too good to miss.

Russia’s response to this challenge has to be multifaceted: involving the region in the process of Eurasian integration, providing military, economic, and political assistance, working closely with its allies in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization and the BRICS, strengthening the Pakistani army, and of course assisting with the capture of the bearded servants of the Caliphate.

Ukraine Won’t Abide by Ceasefire Deal’s Withdrawal of Heavy Weapons

One of the most important aspects of the Minsk ceasefire for eastern Ukraine was the removal of heavy weapons from the front lines. Both sides were a bit slow in getting this going, with the rebels just finally starting the pullback over the weekend.

The two sides were supposed to do the pullbacks within two weeks of the ceasefire, and the rebels were about a week in when they began. That’s far better than the Ukrainian military, however, which is now refusing to pull weapons out at all.

The army is claiming that the rare skirmishes ongoing in the nation’s east justify them keeping their military assets on the front lines, even though that’s the opposite of what the ceasefire deal said.

Poroshenko Vows to 'Regain Control' of Crimea, Gets Rebuke from Crimean PM

Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko vowed early Monday to return "occupied Crimea" to Ukraine, prompting a rebuke from internet users, and later from Crimean authorities as well.

In a pair of tweets published after 2am Monday morning, Poroshenko stated that "Ukraine will regain control of occupied Crimea," noting that "this is inevitable," and promising that "Ukraine will never give up its sovereign rights" to the region. Moreover, the president stated that Ukraine would "protect [the] rights of its people with all available means," and that "together we will build a new Crimea."

Webmaster's Commentary:

Memo to Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko: sir, forgive me, but have you gone absolutely barking, frothing at the mouth mad, to make such a statement?!?

It appears that you know absolutely nothing about Crimea's history; otherwise, you possibly would not have opened your yob and made this threat. Crimea was, historically, a part of Russia, and Russian-speaking, until it was annexed by Nikita Kruschev, himself a Ukrainian native, in the mid-50s.

When the legally elected government of Ukraine was overturned in an EU/US putsch last year, Crimea, in what was universally judged as a free and fair, referendum, voted to rejoin the Russian Federation.

Russia did not "annex" Crimea, and Russia has done nothing wrong here.
This was a move by the Crimean people, to separate themselves from an unlawful change of government.

Wikileak Cables: Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in Washington's Pocket Since 2006

The evidence that the U.S. was behind the toppling of the Ukrainian government early this year is so overwhelming at this point that the subject really isn't up for debate, however initially it was unclear how the election of Petro Poroshenko fit in. The ecstatic response by Washington when he was declared the winner, and their unbending support in spite of his ongoing military assault against civilians in the east, made it clear that he was the chosen one, but the paper trail wasn't immediately obvious.

As it turns out, the evidence that Poroshenko is in the pocket of the U.S. State Department has been available all this time, you just had to know where to find it. In a classified diplomatic cable from 2006 released by Wikileaks.org, U.S. officials refer to Poroshenko as "Our Ukraine (OU) insider Petro Poroshenko".

With proxy wars mounting and "isolated" Russia ratifying The BRICS Bank this week, we are sure Washington is preparing to double-down on 'costs' (to Europeans) as Reuters reports, Russia has offered Iran its latest Antey-2500 missiles (ironically after a deal to supply less powerful S-300 missiles was dropped under Western pressure in 2010). While the United States and Israel lobbied Russia to block the missile sale, the head of Russian state defense conglomerate, Sergei Chemezov, says, "as far as Iran is concerned, we offered Antey-2500 instead of S-300. They are thinking. No decision has been made yet."

"Ukraine will go to war in late March"--Zakharchenko

The head of the self-declared Donetsk People’s Republic Aleksandr Zakharchenko announced that Ukraine is bringing up heavy equipment to the conflict zone and, in his opinion, might resume combat operations in late March or early April.

“We are beginning the withdrawal of heavy equipment, while Ukraine is bringing it up from Kharkov and Dnepropetrovsk. Seems to be there will be a provocation. Ukraine will go to war in late March or Early April. Ukraine needs war,” Zakharchenko said during a Monday briefing.

Russia will never ‘submit’ to U.S.

Will Americans ever feel the pain — of other nations? We Americans tend to see ourselves as above such sentimentality. Yet, perhaps we might make an exception for Russia. To see why, let us reflect on our responsibility for its desert wandering since 1991.

History shows how banishing a celebrated power to the wilderness can be like stripping people of their identity. Russians do not wish to return there. We Americans should not wish Russians to see us as the main agent of their exile.

Savings of Ukrainian Jewish refugees from Donetsk stolen in Kiev

Several Jewish refugees fleeing the civil war raging in eastern Ukraine have found themselves penniless after their life savings were stolen from a bank in Kiev, local media reported.

According to JewishNews.com.ua, a number of Jews who left the separatist stronghold of Donetsk to escape the violence had their money stolen from a safety deposit box at a branch of Alliance Bank belonging to community member Sergei Nuzbrokh, who was holding their money for them.

According to a letter obtained by the Ukrainian Jewish website, Pinchas Vishedski, Donetsk’s rabbi, accused the SBU, the Ukrainian Security Service, of stealing the funds.

"Prepare for Full-Scale War" says Ukraine Deputy Foreign Minister: "With What?" asks Mish; Ukraine Lie of the Day

I have been sitting on close to a dozen videos describing the massive damage in military equipment in the latest separatist surge.

For a description, but no videos, please see Debaltsevsky Under Rebel Control, Boiler Remains; What's Next?

I saw no need to post videos because to me it was pretty obvious this was a repeat of the devastating defeat of Ukraine last August in the Battle of Ilovaisk in which Ukrainian forces refused an offer to exit encirclement by leaving behind equipment.

Ukraine Lie of the Day

Today Ukrainian "Antiterrorist Operation" spokesman Andrei Lysenko says Since 2015 Ukraine Destroyed Nearly 3,000 Militants.

I have no idea how many separatists were killed, but the rest of the claim in the body of the article is preposterous.

There are under-reported angles and interests to these conflicts that we hear little about in western mainstream media and that many do not look for because they are too caught up in political or human dramas.

Ukraine: Kerry threatens further sanctions over 'craven' Russian actions

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry had strong words Saturday for Russia over what he called its unacceptable actions in Ukraine -- and threatened additional sanctions against Russian interests.

Speaking in London alongside UK Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond, Kerry said Russia was "continuing to do land-grabbing in Ukraine" even as it professed to support peace efforts.

Russia's actions are "just simply unacceptable, so we are talking about additional sanctions, additional efforts," Kerry said.

Ukraine PM says cease fire non-existent, Putin on a larger mission

Ukrainian Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk said Saturday that his country is not on the verge of collapse and that Russian-backed separatists continue to attack Ukrainian soldiers despite a recent cease fire agreement.

“We are very far from a collapse,” Yatsenyuk told Fox News. “You know why? We don't have a cease fire … because a cease fire means that no one shoots. Cease fire means that Russian-led terrorists do not make any kind of ongoing shellings, that they do not kill Ukrainian soldiers and innocent people.”

Yatsenyuk's comments come about one week after European leaders brokered a cease fire in the roughly 10-month conflict between Russia and Ukraine in the eastern region of the country.

A top European Union official said Thursday that the 28-member bloc will provide armored cars and satellite imagery to monitor the cease fire but is undecided on whether to commit troops to a proposed United Nations-mandated peacekeeping mission.

Victoria Nuland Shocks, Irritates Germany for the Second Time

According to the report, Nuland called Chancellor Merkel’s trip to visit Russian President Vladimir Putin “Merkel’s Moscow stuff.” The atmosphere heated up; one of the senators was to have ridiculed the German Defense Minister (the “Defeatism Minister”); a reference to the Europeans’ “Moscow bullshit” was probably also made.

The top diplomat Nuland is considered conservative. In case of an electoral victory by the Republicans in the coming year, she will be considered a potential new Secretary of State. She is married to Robert Kagan, a [Ed: neo-]conservative thinker. Last year he published a text, why America must remain the undisputed leader of the world.

In the Ukraine crisis Nuland is a hardliner and a supporter of delivering weapons – unlike her President Barack Obama, she has a clear opinion on what needs to be done.

Excuse Me; Is This the Bus to Wonderland?

That’s the whole pretext of this shallow and fantastic piece from a shallow and delusional author; that there is a war on for the mind of the average Russian, and it is between the propaganda he sees on the television – exhorting him to support the Dear Leader in the country’s dangerous game with the mighty west – and the barren wastes of his empty refrigerator telling him, repent! Repent, and rise up in your masses and demand that the leader turn aside from this mad course, and take instruction from the west on how to help it achieve its objectives. Obey, or be starved into submission, which is a concept – coming from an Englishman – that is so eye-opening that I was quite taken aback by it, and readers will want to remember it for the next time that poxy git who is the current British Prime Minister gets up in Parliament and runs his chip-hole about this or that dictator being the living embodiment of evil cruelty.

Ukrainegate: NATO weapons for truce

Initially it seemed surprising that on the first day of the negotiations marathon [1] in Minsk a bill to “provide lethal weapons to the Government of Ukraine in order to defend itself against Russian-backed rebel separatists in eastern Ukraine” would be introduced in the US Congress [2]. However, it soon became clear that its sponsor, Sen. James Inhofe, simply harbors no illusions [3] about his Ukrainian partners’ competence or ability to comply with their obligations. He understands that Kiev will inevitably violate the cease-fire and that Washington will soon have to explain why the militias in the devastated region of what is known as the “Debaltsevo cauldron” [4] are in possession of such a vast number of captured weapons originating from NATO countries.
