Hillary Clinton – the ‘Liberal’ Puppet for War

Hillary Clinton this week launched her bid for the US presidential elections in 2016.

Clinton’s Republican rivals or would-be rivals immediately fired the brickbats, accusing the 67-year-old former First Lady of being a «Washington insider» and the «embodiment of all that is wrong» in US politics.

Hillary Rodham Clinton is lambasted by Republicans as a «liberal».

Whether described as «liberal», «conservative» or «hawk» – all American presidential candidates are the same in practice. Puppets for sale.

The unintended irony of Clinton’s Republican detractors, who include rabid rightwing Senators Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz, as well as the maverick Senator Rand Paul, is that every single one of them will have to spend similar amounts of cash in their anticipated presidential campaigns.

Torture victims to get $5.5 million from Chicago police

The city of Chicago says it will pay $5.5 million to compensate victims who were tortured by law enforcement under the administration of a former top cop.

Mayor Rahm Emanuel said on Monday that he is endorsing a proposed deal that establishes a $5.5 million reparations package, which the Windy City will make available to people who suffered in the 1970s and 1980s under former police commander Jon Burge and his officers.

Bomb Iran? Not now: bomb Yemen

“Operation Decisive Storm” – yet another Pentagon-style illegal war – has already plunged Yemen into the twin plagues of civil war and humanitarian disaster.

So what we have is the ‘Empire of Chaos’ ‘leading from behind’ in the war on Yemen and also de facto ‘leading from behind’ in the fight against ISIS/ISIL/Daesh; the ones doing the heavy lifting are Iraqi militias supported by Tehran. The hidden agenda is always – what else –chaos; be it across “Syraq” or inside Yemen. With an extra bonus; while Washington is engaged on striking a nuclear deal with Tehran, it also turbo-charges an alliance against Tehran using the House of Saud.

Russian lawmaker accuses US of trying to colonize Europe

The US is seeking world supremacy and its geopolitical strategy relies on the instinct of colonizers, the speaker of Russia’s lower house of parliament, Sergey Naryshkin, wrote in his article ("Instincts of Colonizers Or Root Cause Behind Global Leadership") posted on the Vedomosti newspaper’s website on Tuesday.
The US is pursuing a hegemonic policy, Naryshkin said. "The obedience of almost the whole Europe in military affairs has already been reached, and many things are under control in political affairs. Now it’s time for trade and finances," he said. "America needs the lengthy sanctions saga that comes in violation of the international law and the atmosphere of information hysteria to continue the unpunished economic banditry," Naryshkin wrote.

Ex-Blackwater Guards Sentenced to Long Prison Terms in 2007 Killings of Iraqi Civilians

One by one, four former Blackwater security contractors wearing blue jumpsuits and leg irons stood before a federal judge on Monday and spoke publicly for the first time since a deadly 2007 shooting in Iraq.
***
“I know for a fact that I will be exonerated, in this life and the next,” said Paul A. Slough.

“I am very sorry for the loss of life,” Dustin L. Heard said. “But I cannot say in all honesty to the court that I believe I did anything wrong.”

“As God is my witness,” Evan S. Liberty said, he fired only at insurgents who were shooting at him.

“The verdict is wrong,” said Nicholas A. Slatten, a former Army sniper who was convicted of murder for starting the melee with a precision shot through the head of a young man stopped at an intersection. “You know I am innocent, sir.”

The judge, Royce C. Lamberth, strongly disagreed, sentencing Mr. Slatten to life in prison and handing 30-year sentences to the three others.

Israel uses child slave labour to plant and harvest its agriculture. Not a big deal though

Palestinian children as young as 11 are being employed under dangerous conditions in Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank in breach of international law, a human rights group said on Monday. Hundreds of child labourers are working in farms and agricultural businesses in the strategically sensitive Jordan Valley for just £13 a day, according to a new report from Human Rights Watch, which documented cases of young people suffering work-related ill health and injuries.

Israel Lobby Conference: How big is the Lobby ? VIDEO

American politicians and media have fallen captive to the Zionist network. This is a lethal ailment that afflicts the US.

C-Span refused to cover the conference? Speak of “Silencing voices of TRUTH” or any exposure of even the most legitimate and reasonable discourse about Israel — Apparently, “The invisible dictatorship (to borrow a phrase) J.I.D., which controls America certainly saw to it!”

Whether it is not already too late to do much about it, we shall see.

Let us get it out on as many Websites as possible, Twitter and Facebook it, as well. We should not underestimate the power of the internet.

Drone Victims Take Germany to Court for Abetting U.S. Murders

Their suit argues that it is illegal under German law for the German government to allow the U.S. air base at Ramstein to be used for drone murders abroad. The suit comes after the passage of a resolution in the European Parliament in February 2014 urging European nations to "oppose and ban the practice of extrajudicial targeted killings" and to "ensure that the Member States, in conformity with their legal obligations, do not perpetrate unlawful targeted killings or facilitate such killings by other states."

I've always thought of drone murders as illegal under the laws of the countries where the murders happen, as well as under the UN Charter and the Kellogg Briand Pact. I asked Schüller: Is your suit seeking prosecution for murder where (or in one of the places where) the act is committed from a distance?

Flashback 2007 - "Jews Plotted The Armenian Holocaust"

The Young Turk movement, AKA Committee of Union and Progress, arose out of the Rothschilds’ oil interests in the Black Sea area of the Ottoman Empire in the late 1800s. ‘Creating stability’ in an incendiary realm was necessary for the Rothschilds’ new oil enterprise Baku Oil. The instability of the Armenian Christians’ financial and intellectual prominence in the area was not “good for business.” . . .

1891: Out of the Donmeh a Zionist political group forms called The Committee of Union and Progress, later called The Young Turks. The group is headed by a Freemason Jew by the name of Emmanuel Carraso who organizes the secret Committee of Union and Progress in Geneva with the help of the Rothschilds.

1915: The Armenian Holocaust engineered by the ruling Jews of The Young Turks, leaves 1.5 million Armenian Christians starved, tortured, and murdered.

How the GOP Became the Israel Party

Bill Kristol and John McCain have replaced Robert Novak and Pat Buchanan in Republican foreign policy influence.

When the unexpectedly detailed P5+1 framework agreement with Iran was announced last Thursday, Illinois Republican Mark Kirk made a bizarre comment. “We all know” said the senator, that this is going to end with “a mushroom cloud somewhere near Tehran”—a result of Israel having to go to war to “clean up the mess” made by American and European negotiators. A few days earlier John McCain had expressed the wish that Israel “go rogue” and attack Iran in order to upend the Iran negotiations.

BEX Alert - "ISIL threatens to ‘burn America’ like 9/11"

The ISIL terrorist group has threatened to “burn the United States again" by conducting terrorist attacks against the country similar to the September, 11, 2001 attacks in New York City and the Washington, DC.

The Takfiri terrorist organization released a propaganda video on Saturday via the Internet titled “We Will Burn America”, warning that Americans are not safe anywhere in the world.

“America thinks it’s safe because of the geographical location,” a voice-over in the video says. “But the dream of Americans to have safety became a mirage.”

"Today there is no safety for any American on the globe," the voice adds, while showing footage of planes crashing into the World Trade Center in New York City as well as acts of savagery by the group in Iraq and Syria.

Poets’ Talk: “Why Is This World So Sad?” And, “The Armor of God”

GC: Why is this world so sad? Do you have a religious answer? A faith-based answer?

CO: Life is suffering, and the ancient story of John the Baptist and Herod belongs to modern history…. Our “Herod” (POTUS) stands militarily above all other nations, and only Russia seems to stop the U.S. from cutting off (bombing) any head(s) our Controllers desire.

They intimidate the Vatican, and instead of “putting on the armor of God,” (St. Paul), the Roman Catholic Church often acquiesces, and by the “sin of omission,” helps hasten the making of a Rich Man & Lazarus world, an inevitable War of Civilizations.

At any rate, how will that “Ole Time Religion” square with this basically unimaginable world towards which we are racing?

German court shuts down anti-Israel exhibition

A German court has shut down a long-standing anti-Israel exhibition in the western city of Cologne, accusing its organizer of anti-Semitism and glorification of violence.

The German municipal court said the permanent exhibit, which displayed numerous pictures of the Palestinian children who were killed and injured during the Israeli regime’s bloody offensive against Gaza last summer, violates a law designed to protect minors.

Walter Hermann, the organizer of the exhibit, has protested for years against Israel with his exhibit dubbed the “Cologne Wailing Wall.”

Hermann, 76, whose anti-Israel campaign is named “Peace Demonstration,” told the German Express newspaper that the wanted to draw public attention to Israeli policies against Palestinian people.

His father Salah Soltan was among those sentenced to death.

Pakistan court says former CIA station chief will face charges over drone strike

The former head of the CIA in Pakistan should be tried for murder and waging war against the country, a high court judge ruled on Tuesday.

Criminal charges against Jonathan Banks, the former CIA station chief in Islamabad, were ordered in relation to a December 2009 attack by a US drone which reportedly killed at least three people.

Justice Shaukat Aziz Siddiqui of the Islamabad high court also ruled charges should be brought against John A Rizzo, formerly the top CIA lawyer who gave the legal green light for drone strikes.

Banks’s name was first dragged into the public domain in 2010 when a tribesman called Karim Khan began legal action against the supposedly undercover spy chief over an attack by an unmanned aircraft on his home in North Waziristan which he said killed his brother and son.

The extraordinary unmasking of a sitting station chief forced Banks to quit his post and leave the country.

Psychological Warfare and the Fragmentation of the Psyche

The subject of dissociative identity disorder and the fracturing of the psyche is a complex topic that is becoming more mainstream through alternative media. The causes, nature and extent of the disorder are still shrouded in mystery, though modern medicine and psychology do have a lot to say about the matter. One of the reasons the disorder is controversial is that it doesn’t seem to fit well in the dominant materialist/biologist reductionism upon which mass science is built. Given the presupposition of modern science that the psyche is entirely equated with the brain itself, the assumptions are thus that any possible solution to mental problems of this nature can only be remedied or suppressed through the addition of, and rearrangement of, molecular compounds.

Authentic Journalism that Challenges Empire and Its Centers of Power

Exposing Lies of the Empire is a monumental work.

Some years back, I was approached to come up with a story that I’d really like to cover. There were many, but right away I was drawn to a story whose angle was completely marginalized in any media I had checked. I was interested to go to Zimbabwe and get a genuine impression from Zimbabweans of how they view the direction of their country under the government of Robert Mugabe. How they viewed the redistribution of land within the country.

Arab-Israeli Wars and Conflicts (1948-Present)

This page shows conflicts between the Arab nations (as a group), and Israel. As a rule, a legal state of war has existed between Israel and her Arab enemies since the beginning of the first war in 1948. Egypt signed a peace treaty with Israel in 1979, and Jordan made peace in 1994. The Palestine Authority, headed by Yassir Arafat and his Al-Fatah faction of the Palestine Liberation Organization negotiated a semi-peace, which, from mid-2000 on, has been destroyed through the “Al-Aqsa” Intifada violence. Other Palestinian groups, most notably Hamas, have been at war with Israel continuously. Although Israel and most Arab nations are technically in a continuous state of war, unless otherwise noted, specific outbreaks of fighting are considered to be separate wars.

FLASHBACK:A Brief History of U.S. Interventions: 1945 to the Present

The engine of American foreign policy has been fueled not by a devotion to any kind of morality, but rather by the necessity to serve other imperatives, which can be summarized as follows:
* making the world safe for American corporations;
* enhancing the financial statements of defense contractors at home who have contributed generously to members of congress;
* preventing the rise of any society that might serve as a successful example of an alternative to the capitalist model;
* extending political and economic hegemony over as wide an area as possible, as befits a "great power."

8 Things Vietnam War Movies Leave Out (By an Enemy Soldier)

Even if your knowledge of the Vietnam War comes exclusively from Hollywood films and Texan textbooks that only refer to it as "that one the good guys lost," you've probably heard about the Viet Cong. They were a bunch of jungle-fighting guerrilla warriors who killed American boys via night-time ambushes and terrifying traps. Well, that's one side of the story.

Here's another: #8. We Weren't All Communists; We Just Wanted Independence, or Revenge......

It's Been A Year Since Senators Voted To Reveal CIA Torture. What Do We Have To Show For It?

One year ago Friday, the Senate Intelligence Committee, then under the command of Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.), voted to share with the world some of Washington’s most tightly held secrets: gruesome accounts of CIA personnel torturing detainees for the good of all Americans -- who had little idea what was being done in their name.

After a protracted battle with both the CIA and the White House over how much information to release, the executive summary of Feinstein’s massive torture report finally saw the light of day in early December. Its release did not set off a violent backlash overseas despite panicked warnings from the intelligence community, nor did it irrevocably damage U.S. national security.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Where did Huffpo get that result, claiming that "In the days after the report summary’s release, a majority of Americans continued to believe the CIA’s actions were justified."?!?

IF they actually polled, they either were polling the criminally insane, or were doing what is called "push polling" using preselected zip codes
where you pretty much know how the target demographic will respond, depending on how the questions are crafted.

NO THINKING PERSON I KNOW BELIEVES THAT TORTURE IS EVER JUSTIFIED, NOT ONE.

This not only creates no actionable intelligence; torture is simply a way of getting someone to confess to a predetermined linkage, as they tried to do with Saddam Hussein having had weapons of mass destruction.

When the US government tortures, or outsources torture, here is what happens:

1. The rest of the world despises us, because those alleged values of peace, democracy, and basic human rights are seen as being observed in the breach, not in the practice of those values.

2. When the US government tortures, or outsources torture, it gives carte blanche to every world leader who doesn't like us very much, to torture our American military and civilians in their countries.

Those in the military, or who have friends or family in the military, please think about that one for awhile.

Karl Rove tells Iraq veteran: ‘Sorry for what you went through,’ but I won’t apologize for the war

An Iraq war veteran confronted former White House adviser Karl Rove during a speaking engagement on Tuesday and demanded he apologize for the war, the Hartford Courant reported.

“I have taken responsibility for my actions and dealt with my demons while advocating for a peaceful resolution of a war that was an act of aggression with no clear goal,” said the former soldier, who identified himself as Ryan Henowitz. “Can you take responsibility and apologize for your decision in sending a generation to lose their humanity and deal with the horrors of war, which you have never had the courage to face? Will you apologize to the millions of fathers and mothers who lost their children on both sides of this useless war?”

Webmaster's Commentary:

What an incredible piece of work this man is, absolutely, and contemptuously refusing to take responsibility for being one of the architects of a war which was, ultimately, all about Iraq's oil, and selling it only in US dollars!!

He and the rest of that unholy, sociopathic quintet, Bush, Rusmfeld, Rice, Cheney, should be shunned for the rest of their miserable lives for lying us into a war which absolutely shattered Iraq, and devolved into a horrific civil war between religious factions, which continues to this day.

But of course, their good buddies, companies like Haliburton, etc., made out like bandits, charging the US government exorbitant amounts of money for shoddy work that many times dissolved shortly after it had been built, and creating burn pits which they assured soldiers attending those pits that there were no safety issues. Many of these men and women are now in the grip of severe, life threatening health issues, and yet the US military will not acknowledge that the problems exist.

But hey, Turdblossom; (that isn't my creation; that was George Bush's nickname for him!!) Not one of the companies making huge war bucks off the Iraq war gave a damn about how many people got killed or maimed for life, as long as the money poured in.

You may have had a conscience at one point, but I would suggest you had it surgically removed, when you realized what an obstacle it is to making money.

And by the way, that last sentence quoted above is a complete and outright lie: " We should be proud of what we were able to do in Iraq and we should be sorry that we left them alone, because when we left them, things deteriorated.”

Does Rove think, for one moment, that Americans have forgotten Muktada Al Sadr, the Shiite Iranian cleric, who founded the Mahdi Army, and threatened that if all Americans were not out of Iraq by December 31, 2011, all American military and civilian contractors would be fair game?!?

It is apparent that the US military took this guy, and his military resources , at their word, and left Iraq.

Islamic Jew-hatred’ ads with Hitler appear on Philly buses

I wonder if I should tell you about the Zionist/NaZi connections? That they were (are) one and the same? That the "Jewish Holocaust" was really the "Shnorrer Holocaust" (poor Jewish Holocaust): those Jews who were refuseniks against the Zionist cult?

That same occult underpinnings of Zionism, NaZism are the same for Islamofascism, the Muslim Brotherhood (now al Qaeda and ISIS), based in the Cairo Lodge, saved by Allen Dulles and the CIA, removed to Saudi Arabia, after Nasser tried to suppress this heretical Islamic movement?

That Saudi Arabia and Israel are the evil step-brothers in the Rothschild plan to use Israel as the center-piece for the Satanic New World Order centered on the rebuilt Temple of Solomon in Jerusalem atop what is now the Al-Aqsa Mosque?

In Yemen, and Middle East, U.S. Needs to Learn When to Quit

Author’s note: The New York Times’ Room For Debate poses the question “Is Yemen America’s fight?” and asks whether the United States should be involved in regional efforts to fight the Houthis in Yemen.

Here’s my short essay on why the US has no business being there – and why Washington needs to rein in the Saudis before they embroil us all in an even bigger mess.

At the rate the Saudis are escalating, any full-on war in Yemen will cripple the entire Arabian Peninsula, and that would be a disaster for all key U.S. policy interests in the region.

FORMER BLACKWATER GETS RICH AS AFGHAN DRUG PRODUCTION HITS RECORD HIGH

In a war full of failures, the US counternarcotics mission in Afghanistan stands out: opiate production has climbed steadily over recent years to reach record-high levels last year. Yet there is a clear winner in the anti-drug effort – not the Afghan people, but the infamous mercenary company formerly known as Blackwater. Statistics released on Tuesday reveal that the rebranded private security firm, known since 2011 as Academi, reaped over half a billion dollars from the futile Defense Department push to eradicate Afghan narcotics, some 32% of the $1.8bn in contracting money the Pentagon has devoted to the job since 2002.

Palestinians join International Criminal Court

Palestinians have formally become a member of the International Criminal Court (ICC), a membership that enables Palestinians to sue Israeli officials for war crimes.

The Palestinian Authority officially joined the ICC on Wednesday, becoming the 123rd member of the Hague-based court.

The membership enables the Palestinians to file lawsuits against Israeli officials over crimes committed on Palestinian territory, including offenses committed during Tel Aviv’s war on the besieged Gaza Strip last year.

The Palestinian decision to join the ICC was made in January after decades of negotiations with Israel failed to put an end to Tel Aviv’s policy of expanding settlements on the occupied Palestinian lands.

In response to the decision, Tel Aviv cut off more than USD 120 millions in tax funds to the Palestinian Authority.

A Pakistani Woman named Aafia Siddiqui was abducted from a taxi in Karachi, Pakistan along with her 3 children 12 years ago on March 30, 2003. At the time she was vulnerable, recently divorced from an abusive husband; living with her mother; her father had just died of a heart attack. The youngest child was an infant. Following her abduction, Aafia Siddiqui and her children disappeared from view for 5 years. She spent those years in US Black Site prisons in Afghanistan and Pakistan. One can only imagine the torment she suffered there, in a system created to enable the torture and abuse of terrorism suspects. She was a woman alone. They took her children, and threatened them when personal torture was not enough to gain her acquiescence.
