Summons issued to Trump in case alleging he is violating emoluments clause

A summons has been issued to President Trump in a lawsuit alleging he is violating the emoluments clause of the Constitution.

The lawsuit — filed by the attorneys general in Washington, D.C., and Maryland — alleges that Trump is violating the clause, which prevents elected officials from receiving gifts or benefits from foreign governments without Congress’s approval, WAMU reported.

The lawsuit is filed against Trump in his "official capacity and in his individual capacity," according to the Washington, D.C., radio station.

The lawsuit also argues that businesses in Maryland and D.C. have been hurt because groups instead choose to stay at Trump's properties in attempts to get in his good favor.
Last year, a federal judge dismissed a lawsuit from a liberal watchdog organization arguing that Trump was violating the emoluments clause of the Constitution.

Trump Suspends Tariffs On Multiple Nations (Not China Or Japan) Until May

After unleashing the first shots in the global trade war, and facing some retaliation from China tonight, President Trump has decided to exclude multiple nations (and The EU) from steel and aluminum tariffs through May 1st.

This action confirms what Ambassador Lighthizer suggested earlier in the evening, which perhaps explains the negligible response to this modest retreat in the trade war.

White House Soap Operas Distract From Real Global Dangers

In the liberty movement, we often refer to the historical tactic of the Roman “bread and circuses” when describing the deliberate mass distraction of the public of today. In the era when Roman emperors supplanted the senate and dominated political and social life, it was deemed advantageous to create various forms of “entertainment,” often violent, in order to keep the citizenry preoccupied and thus less likely to physically act against the power structure as the empire suffered economic decline.

Defense Secretary Jim Mattis Warns Trump Over Veto

The government is only funded until midnight tonight. It’s highly unlikely that Congress will pass another spending bill, ceding to Trump’s demands.

This means Trump faces a choice: Either veto the spending bill and shut the government down, or miss his opportunity to extract demands from a must-pass law.

And now the pressure has increased on Trump ten-fold, as it’s being reported that Defense Secretary Jim Mattis is warning him not to issue a veto:

Trade deficit with China costs 2 million jobs to US: White House

America's massive trade deficit with China is estimated to have resulted in about two million job losses in the US, the White House has said, defending President Donald Trump's decision to initiate strong actions against China's "unfair" trade practices.

Trump imposed tariffs on about USD 60 billion worth of Chinese imports to punish the country for its "unfair" seizure of American intellectual property, a move that could escalate the already tense trade relations between the world's two biggest economies.

Trump Dossier 2018: Double Agent

In light of Trump's continuing betrayal of US patriots who voted for him, stuck with through thick and thing during the contested election, the Russian collusion lie ... we now have a growing list of Trump double-crosses: the retirement of dozens of Republicans in the Senate, Congress; the CIA infiltration in the electorate; Jerusalem to be capital of Israel; US troops in Syria, WWIII against Russia; Pompeo to the State Department, Bolton to the NSC; 2nd Amendment rights eviscerated in the new budget (#omnibus2018); I now think that he was a ringer all along, the Russian collusion story just a distraction from a darker agenda for honest US citizens and Christians.

Any support I’ve shown for Trump has gone out the window this evening. And no, I am not being melodramatic. I am a simple man with modest needs. One of them is for my country to stop fighting unnecessary wars. When you wake up and realize that we’re the bad guys and that the media propaganda is there to make you docile, you will see that nothing else matters but human life. Forget about healthcare, transgender bathrooms, abortion, tax cuts — everything is secondary to the life expectancy of the men and women who serve in our military — our sons and daughters, or neighbors.

In an unbelievable move, Trump has replaced Gen. McMaster with the very worst person living in America, John Neocon Scum Bolton.

Bolton was part of a neocon cabal, spearheaded by the Project for the New American Century (PNAC), founded by Bill Kristol, whose lineage is Trotskyite through and through.

John Bolton is a long time leader of the War Party, was a major promoter of the lies about Iraq which fostered our war, was former Vice President of the neocon nesting American Enterprise Institute and advisor to JINSA (Likud Think Tank in Washington which long urged Israel to violate Oslo accords). Bolton never gained congressional approval, the is legitimacy for his "Ambassadorship" to the UN and is despised by most of the outside world's nations.

America is not safer being hated and represented to the world by one of the main architects of the policies which led to such hatred. Every time he speaks he is a symbol of go-it-alone America and a lightening rod for hate against America.

The Nuclear Option: Limitless Investigation of Trump Was Always the Plan

Through a combination of representative democracy and a balancing of state power against federal power, we the people pick our president.

And damn the innocent host! The more devastating the cancer is to the very body politic that gives it life, the better!

It is the truest form of injustice. Singular evil. Blind hatred.

So they changed the rules. We can pick our president. But then the powerful established bureaucracy must conduct a massive, sprawling, limitless investigation into any and all aspects of the president we pick.

The basis of this “investigation” is an increasingly debunked frame-up designed and drafted by the Kremlin and paid for by President Trump’s political opponent in the presidential election. And then spread to all four corners of the globe by the oldest creatures of the powerful establishment in Washington.

Dershowitz: Mueller performing 'legal colonoscopy,' never should have been appointed

Lawyer Alan Dershowitz on Tuesday said Democrats are "fueling the speculation" around President Trump possibly firing special counsel Robert Mueller, adding that "there never should have been an appointment of special counsel."

"That would create a real problem on the Republican side of the aisle. I don’t think he’ll fire him or should fire him," he added.

"America's Newsroom" anchor Sandra Smith pressed Dershowitz on Trump's weekend tweets.

"The president with his tweets over the weekend and Monday morning saying 'this is the ultimate witch hunt' adds fuel to the fire saying this investigation never should have began in the first place. So what is the strategy there? Why put those things out there?" asked Smith.

Dershowitz responded by saying there had been "no probable cause" of crimes committed by Trump and that meant a special counsel was not necessary.

US Can't Stop Hypersonic Weapons, Air Force General Says

March 21, 2018 "Information Clearing House" - Missiles that spit out warheads traveling up to 20 times the speed of sound and with the ability to perform elusive acrobatics may be too much for U.S. defenses to block.

That's according to the head of the U.S. Strategic Command, Air Force Gen. John Hyten, who testified before the Senate Armed Services Committee yesterday (March 20).

When asked by Sen. Jim Inhofe, R-Okla., what kind of defenses the U.S. has against hypersonic weapons, Hyten replied: "We have a very difficult — well, our defense is our deterrent capability. We don't have any defense that could deny the employment of such a weapon against us, so our response would be our deterrent force, which would be the triad and the nuclear capabilities that we have to respond to such a threat,"

Jake Tapper Hits Back At Trump: He’s Nastier To Me And Don Lemon Than He Is To Putin

CNN’s Jake Tapper wants to know why President Donald Trump keeps giving Russian President Vladimir Putin a free pass.

“President Trump to this day has said nastier things publicly about me, Don Lemon, Chuck Todd, Meryl Streep and the cast of ‘Hamilton’ than he has of former KGB operative and current human rights repressor Vladimir Putin,” Tapper said.

Trump earlier this week was reportedly given an all-caps note saying “DO NOT CONGRATULATE” before a phone call with Putin after the Russian leader won a re-election many dismissed as a sham.

He congratulated him anyway.

Trump is reportedly angry over that detail leaking out of the West Wing.

Trump tariffs could backfire on Mass. cranberry growers

When President Trump imposed stiff tariffs on steel and aluminum imports earlier this month, he invited metal workers in hard hats to the White House signing ceremony, saying the move would protect their jobs.

But a few weeks later, the ripple effects of that decision are being felt in other industries across the country as the European Union prepares to retaliate. One potential victim: the humble cranberry industry in Massachusetts.

The Bay State’s top agricultural food crop — valued at close to $70 million in 2016, according to the most recent government data — could now face a 25 percent tariff on exports to Europe. Exacerbating the challenge is the booming cranberry industry in Quebec, which outproduced Massachusetts for the first time in 2014 and could see further growth if US cranberries are suddenly more expensive for European consumers.

JUST IN: Leaker Suspected From Within White House

It’s particularly concerning that this information was leaked because it means there’s a leaker close to Trump. Only a small circle of staff members would have had access to such sensitive briefing documents, meaning the leak may have come from somebody close to the president.

While it’s unclear whether the White House has launched a formal investigation into the incident yet, according to the Washington Examiner, Rep. Mark Meadows, R-N.C., a conservative leader and foreign policy expert, expressed outrage at the leak and suggested that it and others thought to come from the national security council are crimes.

“Here’s the big deal. If you’ve got the national security council team leaking to the press, that’s a big deal,” he told reporters at a Heritage Foundation-sponsored “Conversations with Conservatives” on Capitol Hill Wednesday.

“Quite frankly, some of the other stuff they’ve leaked is actually a crime,” he added.

TRUMP Rips Into “Crazed” Media, Says “Getting Along With Russia Is A Good Thing”

The Gateway Pundit reported on the media ignoring not only the fact that Obama congratulated Putin in 2012, but went above and beyond that, promising the the Russian president he would show him “flexibility” after he won his own election.

Retired FBI agent guilty of sex abuse Was bureau's chief of internal affairs

The alleged bomber Mark Anthony Conditt makes remarks on social media in 2012 about how a sex offender should not have to register after he has done his time.
Is this person related to former FBI official John H. Conditt?

By Associated Press | February 18, 2004

WASHINGTON -- The former chief internal watchdog at the FBI has pleaded guilty to sexually assaulting a 6-year-old girl and has admitted he had a history of molesting other children before he joined the bureau for what became a two-decade career.

John H. Conditt Jr., 53, who retired in 2001, was sentenced last week in Tarrant County Court in Fort Worth to 12 years in prison after he admitted he molested the daughter of two FBI agents after he retired. He acknowledged molesting at least two other girls before he began his law enforcement career, his lawyer said.

Conditt sought treatment for sex offenders after his arrest last year, said his attorney, Toby Goldsmith.

TURKISH President Recep Tayyip Erdogan today told the US to stop "deceiving" Turkey and start cooperation after Washington said it was concerned by the Turkish-led offensive on the Syrian city of Afrin.

Erdogan's typically abrasive comments came after the US State Department reacted to the capture by Turkish forces of Afrin from Kurdish militia by sounding alarm over the fate of civilians and looting.

Pompeo and Haspel are Symptoms of a Deeper Problem

President Trump’s recent cabinet shakeup looks to be a real boost to hard-line militarism and neo-conservatism. If his nominees to head the State Department and CIA are confirmed, we may well have moved closer to war.

Before being chosen by Trump to head up the CIA, Secretary of State nominee Mike Pompeo was one of the most pro-war Members of Congress. He has been militantly hostile toward Iran, and many times has erroneously claimed that Iran is the world’s number one state sponsor of terror. The truth is, Iran neither attacks nor threatens the United States.

At a time when President Trump appears set to make history by meeting North Korean leader Kim Jong-un face-to-face, Pompeo remains dedicated to a “regime change” policy that leads to war, not diplomacy and peace. He blames Iran – rather than the 2003 US invasion – for the ongoing disaster in Iraq. He enthusiastically embraced the Bush policy of “enhanced interrogation,” which the rest of us call “torture.”

Currently serving as the head of an “independent” investigation into alleged Russian interference in the 2016 election, Mueller wasn’t always hailed by liberals as a brave crusader for democracy and truth. Actually, the liberal love affair with Mueller is a rather recent phenomenon.

Paul Craig Roberts: War Is On The Horizon

How else do we interpret the announcement by General Sergey Rudskoy, chief of the Operational Directorate of the Russian General Staff, that

“we have reliable information at our disposal that US instructors have trained a number of militant groups in the vicinity of the town of At-Tanf, to stage provocations involving chemical warfare agents in southern Syria. They are preparing a series of chemical munitions explosions. This fact will be used to blame the government forces. The components to produce chemical munitions have been already delivered to the southern de-escalation zone under the guise of humanitarian convoys of a number of NGOs.

The provocations will be used as a pretext by the United States and its allies to launch strikes on military and government infrastructure in Syria.”

Don’t expect to hear anything about this in the totally discredited Western presstitute media, which is a propaganda ministry for war.

It could start a military war with China.

And it could push the current trade battle into an all-out economic war against China.

I think a full-blown economic war is the most likely. Under President Trump, it’s all but certain.

Trump’s Last-Minute Play To Defund Sanctuary Cities

President Donald Trump is hosting a roundtable at the White House Tuesday for federal officials, members of Congress and state attorneys general to ramp up pressure on cities that don’t comply with federal immigration laws.

Conservatives in Congress, along with the president and administration officials, spent the entirety of last week lobbying leadership to stop funding sanctuary cities in the upcoming must-pass spending bill. Despite their efforts, Republican leadership is including funding for sanctuary cities in the bill, as The Daily Caller News Foundation previously exclusively reported, dealing a huge blow to both the administration and conservatives.

According to Swisher, if his documentary on the American lobby doesn’t air soon, 'it might prove to be ammunition sought by a group of zealous US politicians who wish to declare Al Jazeera a foreign entity, and label us journalists as ‘spies’'

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED: US Sets Up New Base in Syria's Largest Oil Field in Deir Ezzur

The US has established a new base in Southeastern Deir Ezzur and dispatched weapons and military equipment to the region, field sources said as Russia warned of American forces' possible attack on Syrian army positions.

The sources said on Tuesday that the US forces have built a new and advanced military base in al-Omar oilfield in Southeastern Deir Ezzur, adding that they have also transferred a large volume of arms and equipment, including missiles, military vehicles and bridge equipment to the regions of their deployment in Koniko oilfield, al-Omar oilfield and al-Jafreh.

Samantha Power delivers ominous message to Trump: 'Not a good idea to piss off John Brennan'

Samantha Power, who was U.S. ambassador to the United Nations under former President Barack Obama, warned President Trump on Saturday that it was "not a good idea to piss off John Brennan" after the former CIA director told him in a tweet that America would "triumph over you."

Brennan was responding to news that Attorney General Jeff Sessions had fired FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, a move praised by the president amid investigations that found McCabe "had made an unauthorized disclosure to the news media and lacked candor ? including under oath ? on multiple occasions."

Brennan, who served as CIA director under Obama, warned Trump on Twitter that when his "venality, moral turpitude, and political corruption becomes known, you will take your rightful place as a disgraced demagogue in the dustbin of history."

Parkland Survivor To Trump: 'Show Us That You Aren't Owned By The NRA'

Two student survivors of last month’s deadly shooting at a Parkland, Florida, high school are urging President Donald Trump to break his ties with the National Rifle Association and live up to his pledge to push for stricter U.S. gun laws.

In a Monday interview with CNN, David Hogg and Alfonso Calderon expressed disappointment over the White House’s new gun and school safety proposals, which include arming teachers to help prevent future on-campus shootings. But dropped from the plan was Trump’s call to raise the legal age for buying certain firearms ? including semi-automatic rifles ? from 18 to 21 years old.

Trump endorsed changing the age requirement last month during a bipartisan meeting with lawmakers at the White House in the wake of the Florida shooting in which the suspected gunman used a semi-automatic rifle. The NRA, however, quickly came out against the age proposal.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I would rather that Trump show us he is not owned by Israel!

Assessing Russia's Military Strength

There is a popular point of view in some of Russia’s political circles, especially among those who profess monarchist views and cling to a famous meme of 1913 Tsarist Russia development statistics, that WW I was started by Germany to forestall Russia’s industrial development which would inevitably challenge Germany’s plans on domination of Europe. A somewhat similar argument could be made for the WW II, but, in general, preventive wars are nothing new in human history. While “preventive” argument may or may not be a valid one regarding WW I, there is no doubt that it could be used, among others, when explaining the origins of a war.

Sen. Corker Predicts Trump Will Withdraw From Iran Deal in May

While European nations are still trying to placate the Trump Administration about the P5+1 nuclear deal with Iran, US officials aren’t optimistic. Senate Foreign Relations Committee chairman Sen. Bob Corker (R-TN) says he believes Trump will withdraw from the pact in May anyhow.

Corker told reporters that, barring any surprise moves by the Europeans, Trump will not extend the sanctions waiver beyond the May 12 deadline. This will effectively put he US in violation of the treaty, with Trump clear he intends to withdraw.

Whether the deal survives beyond that is anyone’s guess. Russia and China had both been courting Iran about keeping the deal going without the US. Recently, however, Iran has suggested that they don’t see the pact surviving a US withdrawal.

Neocon Specter of John Bolton Looms over Trump White House

There have been multiple reports that President Donald Trump is unhappy with his National Security Adviser, Lt. Gen. H. R. McMaster. Report: Trump asked Saudi king $4bn for Syria goals

US President Donald Trump asked Saudi King Salman for $4 billion to spend on advancing Washington’s objectives in Syria, which Riyadh also shares, a report says.

US military newspaper Stars and Stripes carried the report on Friday, saying the demand was made by the US chief executive during a phone call with the Saudi monarch last December.

The money, it said, would be spent towards preventing the empowerment of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad and Syria’s allies, Iran and Russia. Washington would further the goal as far as bringing about “a political settlement of the war that ultimately includes the exit of both Assad and Iran,” it added.

It cited hawkish US Senator Lindsey Graham as reminding Gen. Joseph Votel, head of US Central Command earlier in the week of “the negative long-term impact that a win for Iran, Russia and Assad would have on US allies such as Israel and Jordan.”

War Is on the Horizon

Have Washington and its British vassal set a stage for testing whether Russia has the stomach for war?

How else do we interpret the announcement by General Sergey Rudskoy, chief of the Operational Directorate of the Russian General Staff, that “we have reliable information at our disposal that US instructors have trained a number of militant groups in the vicinity of the town of At-Tanf, to stage provocations involving chemical warfare agents in southern Syria. They are preparing a series of chemical munitions explosions. This fact will be used to blame the government forces. The components to produce chemical munitions have been already delivered to the southern de-escalation zone under the guise of humanitarian convoys of a number of NGOs. The provocations will be used as a pretext by the United States and its allies to launch strikes on military and government infrastructure in Syria.” See here, here and here.

President Trump’s Debt Increase Half that of Obama’s – US Debt Surpasses $21 Trillion

The US Debt surpassed $21 Trillion for the first time in history this week. What the MSM won’t tell you is that President Trump’s debt increase is half of Obama’s at the same time in their Presidencies.

President Trump took over in 2017 with nearly $20 trillion of debt and the related interest payments on the debt. He faced headwinds from the Federal Reserve (FED) which had increased interest rates by a full one percent since the 2016 election. In spite of this, President Donald Trump’s debt is half that of Obama’s.

The US Debt since President Trump was inaugurated on January 20th, 2016 through March 1, 2018, increased by slightly more than $1 trillion. On inauguration day the debt was at $19.9 trillion and on March 15, 2018 the debt stood at $21.0 trillion.

Although $1 trillion is a lot of money added to the debt, it is half of what President Obama added during the same time frame in his first year plus in office.

Nikki Haley Makes Good on Threat: No Aid For Voting Against Jerusalem

US Ambassador to the UN Nikki Haley is making good on her threat to cut US aid to countries that vote against the US in the United Nations.

In December, 128 countries voted in the United Nations General Assembly against the United States’ recognition of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. At the time, President Trump and Haley threatened that there would be grave repercussions for recipients of US aid who failed to stand by their benefactor on such issues.

On Thursday, Foreign Policy reported on a 53-page memo issued by Haley. Titled “America First Foreign Assistance Policy”, the new policy will make good on that threat.

“It is the opinion of the U.S. mission to the U.N. that all U.S. foreign assistance should be reevaluated to ensure that taxpayers dollars are spent to advance U.S. interests, not to fund foreign legacy programs that provide little or no return on investment,” the memo read.

Trump Is Firing Everyone Who Could Stop a War With Iran

National Security Advisor H.R. McMaster, a favorite of the D.C. foreign policy establishment and one of the White House’s few top advisers left who could potentially stop Donald Trump from starting a war with Iran, is apparently a dead man walking.

The Washington Post reports that while McMaster hasn’t been officially fired yet, Trump has already decided he’s gone and is looking at potential replacements:

President Trump has decided to remove H.R. McMaster as his national security adviser and is actively discussing potential replacements, according to five people with knowledge of the plans, preparing to deliver yet another jolt to the senior ranks of his administration.

Trump is now comfortable with ousting McMaster, with whom he never personally gelled, but is willing to take time executing the move because he wants to ensure both that the three-star Army general is not humiliated and that there is a strong successor lined up, these people said.?

US, Britain Are Gutting Yemen for Saudi Arabia, Heading Into Dangerous Waters

With more than 17,000 people killed in the often-overlooked conflict, according to the World Health Organization, and millions more are on the brink of famine, the pressing question is why the United States and Britain are still involved in this failed war?

Despite bogus reports by “fakestream” media in the West, this near-three-year conflict is not a proxy war between Iran and Saudi Arabia, nor is it a real war between former President Abdrabbuh Mansour Hadi and the Houthi Ansarullah resistance movement. It’s a war of choice by Saudi Arabia, the United States, and Israel against the people of Yemen based on regional designs.

Trump says the Mueller probe should NEVER have started and is a 'Witch hunt' hours after his lawyer backtracked on calls to END the investigation

President Donald Trump has again repudiated Special Counsel Robert Mueller's probe into possible collusion between his campaign and Russia, calling it a 'Witch hunt' that never should have started in the first place.

'The Mueller probe should never have been started in that there was no collusion and there was no crime,' Trump tweeted on Saturday night.

'It was based on fraudulent activities and a Fake Dossier paid for by Crooked Hillary and the DNC, and improperly used in FISA COURT for surveillance of my campaign. WITCH HUNT!' he continued.

Earlier in the day, Trump's lawyer backtracked on an earlier demand for the deputy attorney general to shut down the investigation into alleged Russian interference in the elections.

Israeli-Backed Ouster of Tillerson Moves US Closer to Exit From JCPOA - Analysts

The Israeli-influenced sacking of US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson may draw President Donald Trump even closer to withdrawing from the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) that governs Iran’s nuclear program, analysts told Sputnik.

On Friday, after a meeting of the JCPOA commission in Vienna, Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi held separate talks with US officials, local media reported. On Tuesday, Tillerson was dismissed via Twitter and replaced by CIA Director Mike Pompeo — a move Trump said was over disagreements on policy issues, including the JCPOA.

During the first half of March, two major war exercises are underway - one in the Mediterranean off the coast of Sicily, the other in Israel - both led and supported by USA/NATO commands and bases in Italy.

At the Dynamic Manta 2018 - a submarine war exercise, supported by the Sigonella and Augusta bases and the port of Catania in Sicily - naval forces from the United States, Canada, Italy, France, Belgium, Germany, Great Britain, Spain, Greece and Turkey participate with 5,000 men, surface ships, sub-marines, airplanes and helicopters.

The exercise is led by the NATO Command headquartered in Lago Patria (JFC Naples), under the command of US Admiral James Foggo. Appointed by the Pentagon as his predecessors, at the same time he commands the U.S. Naval Forces Europe and U.S. Naval Forces Africa, whose headquarters are in Naples Capodichino.

EU powers propose new Iran sanctions to keep Trump in nuclear deal

France, Germany and the UK have proposed new sanctions targeting Iran in an apparent attempt to keep the US within the 2015 nuclear agreement with Tehran. New restrictions would target Iran’s missile program and activity in Syria.

The sanctions would be particularly imposed against Iranian nationals involved in the development of the country’s ballistic missile progam, Reuters reported, citing a document it obtained.

"We will therefore be circulating in the coming days a list of persons and entities that we believe should be targeted in view of their publicly demonstrated roles," the document said, referring to the people involved in the Iranian missile program and support of the Syrian government, as reported by Reuters.

EU Powers Push Iran Sanctions to Placate Trump

With the deadline President Trump’s ultimatum to “fix” the Iran nuclear deal rapidly approaching, EU parties to the deal Britain, France, and Germany are proposing new sanctions against Iran. The move is seen as an attempt to keep Trump satisfied.

The new sanctions proposed are EU-wide sanctions that would target Iran for conducting missile tests, something President Trump has complained about. Getting the sanctions imposed would require unanimous EU approval.

The assumption among the EU nations is that the sanctions would show President Trump that there are alternative ways of going after Iran that don’t involve withdrawing from the P5+1 nuclear deal, and that this will convince Trump that such actions are continuing during the deal.

No One Mentions That The Russian Trail Leads To Democratic Lobbyists

The media has focused not on K Street but on the Russian ties of President Donald Trump’s associates. They list the reprehensible Kremlin-associated figures for whom members of his inner circle worked, the most notorious being Viktor Yanukovich, the deposed president of Ukraine, and fugitive oligarch, Dymtro Firtash. But both of these “repulsive” figures were also advised by Democratic top dogs, who likely earned large multiples of what the “small fry” Trump associates took home.

In pushing its Manchurian-candidate-Trump narrative, the media fail to mention the much deeper ties of Democratic lobbyists to Russia. Don’t worry, the media seems to say: Even though they are representing Russia, the lobbyists are good upstanding citizens, not like the Trump people. They can be trusted with such delicate matters.
