Libya's Tobruk parliament does not accept U.S. raids

Libya's Tobruk parliament on Tuesday said it had not given its backing to U.S. air raids launched on the country this week.

The Prime Minister of Libya's UN-supported unity government Fayez al-Sarraj has said his administration requested the intervention and that ISIS suffered "heavy losses" following U.S. air strikes in Sirte.

"We do not accept the foreign intervention requested publicly in Libya," Aguila Saleh, speaker of the Chamber of Deputies of Tobruk said in an interview with Sky News Arabiya.

Libya has two governments. The one chosen by the Libyan people and the one the US is trying to force down their throats.
