Welcome to the Fur Seasons! Hawaii cat sanctuary that's home to 600 feral felines becomes a top tourist attraction
A Hawaii cat sanctuary that's home to 600 feral felines has become a full-blown tourist attraction known as the 'Fur Seasons'.
Kathy 'Kat' Carroll had the idea to open the sanctuary after she moved to the small island of Lanai in 2001 and was shocked to find hundreds of homeless and starving cats roaming the island.
Nearly two decades later, those cats are living a much easier life enjoying regular meals, massages and more than enough attention thanks to Lanai Cat Sanctuary.
