RULE OF LAW TAKES HIT IN COURT'S ORDER TO COMMIT PERJURY

In a case with major implications for free speech and due process, an appeal by Doreen Hendrickson, a mother jailed last year on “contempt of court” charges for refusing a federal court order to perjure herself, was officially denied.

The court claimed that it did not have to rule on the illegality or unconstitutionality of the court order that was supposedly violated, or on whether it was appropriate for the trial court to instruct the jury not to consider the legality of the demands.

If the ruling is allowed to stand, observers and legal experts warned of potentially devastating consequences to the rule of law, due process of law, judicial integrity, freedom of speech, and all of Americans’ constitutionally protected rights.

Basically, the government could force anyone to say anything, under oath, critics of the ruling observed.

Federal Agents Exposed For Planting Surveillance Microphones In Public

It seems that every rock overturned reveals a new depth to government spying on its own citizens – in this case, literally.

Major cities have uncovered several secret operations in recent years that have sparked outrage. In 2013, Seattle police were forced to deactivate a hidden WiFi mesh network system that was funded by Homeland Security. This past month a Phoenix, Arizona resident documented a strange box that appeared on his utility pole; it was later claimed by the bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms and Explosives, a branch of the U.S. Department of Justice – the ATF would neither confirm nor deny ongoing surveillance in the area.

Now the heavily populated Bay Area of San Francisco, home to nearly 1 million residents and countless millions more visitors, has been exposed to have been part of an ongoing operation to secretly record public conversations, perhaps dating from 2010.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Everyone should start talking about terror plots. Just make something up. That'll mess up that system if they think there are 200,000,000 terrorists walking the streets!

Defense Bill Coming This Week: A Boost for War and Tyranny

For many of us concerned with liberty, the letters "NDAA" have come to symbolize Washington's ongoing effort to undermine the US Constitution in the pursuit of constant war overseas. It was the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) for 2012 that introduced into law the idea that American citizens could be indefinitely detained without warrant or charge if a government bureaucrat decides they had assisted al-Qaeda or "associated forces that are engaged in hostilities against the United States." No charges, no trial, just disappeared Americans.

The National Defense Authorization bill should be a Congressional mechanism to bind the president to spend national defense money in the way Congress wishes. It is the nuts and bolts of the defense budget and as such is an important oversight tool preventing the imperial executive from treating the military as his own private army. Unfortunately that is no longer the case these days.

Uncomfortable Truths About Banking and Money

Regarding the United States, the U.K., Europe, and Japan IT IS COMFORTING TO BELIEVE:

Debt has increased exponentially for decades, and in the case of the US, for over 100 years. It has worked so far, so we want to believe it will continue for the foreseeable future.

Our governments act as if they believe we can borrow ourselves out of debt, spend our way into prosperity, and pretend and extend indefinitely.

Every major country has a central bank, so it is comforting to believe they are needed.

It is comforting to believe that gold is unnecessary. As per Warren Buffett, we dig it from the ground, and then store it in a vault, where it sits.

These may be common and comfortable beliefs but they are all incorrect, and will be proven false in coming years.

The California Voter Suppression Has Started – Mail In Ballots

My friend who is registered No preference in California got his official ballot in the mail. There was no choice to vote for Bernie Sanders on the ballot!

I called the SOS in Sac. County and was told you have to be registered with a party to vote. I told her this is incorrect and the SOS website says you can vote for any Demarcate or Republican registered as no preference.

She then changed her tone and said No party preference voters have to fill out a request for a crossover ballot given on the sample ballots that are mailed out.

California voters have until May 31st to request a crossover ballot for the Dem party in Sacramento County (this deadline may differ from county to county). OR your mail in ballot will not count.

The Rise of Big Surveillance: How Oakland Pushed Back and Won!

The Domain Awareness Center (DAC) was a planned surveillance hub which aimed to integrate public and private cameras and sensors all over the City of Oakland into one $11,000,000 mass surveillance system. After mounting opposition to the DAC in 2013 and 2014, catalyzed by the Oakland Privacy Working Group, the Oakland City Council voted on March 4, 2014 to restrict the DAC to operate solely within the Port of Oakland. It also removed citywide ShotSpotter (a gunshot detection system theoretically capable of overhearing conversations) and city traffic cameras from the system, and required any further expansion or information-sharing decisions to come before the Council for approval. Integrated, mass surveillance is highly controversial, and not only in Oakland: many US cities, and other cities worldwide, watched closely to see Oakland’s example play out.

Nevada Democrats defend exclusion of Bernie convention delegates that led to explosion of anger

Nevada’s Democratic State Committee defended excluding 58 Bernie Sanders’ delegates at their convention Saturday night, saying they failed to register properly as Democrats before the final caucus.

At the contentious convention, held in the Paris hotel in Las Vegas, scuffles broke out as Sanders’ supporters claimed that the state party subverted the will of the voters by awarding more pledged delegates to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

According to the Las Vegas Sun, Clinton took 20 of the 35 pledged delegates Nevada will send to the Democratic National Convention in Philadelphia this summer.

Sanders supporters — who outnumbered fans of Clinton — shouted down speakers, with California Sen. Barbara Boxer called a “b*tch” as she tried to speak. Supporters of the Vermont senator complained bitterly as Democratic leaders quickly attempted to gavel the proceedings to a close.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Sanders supporters could not possibly, or reasonably expect, at this point, that Clinton would run a fair, decent campaign. They should have taken steps to circumvent this move, which they had to know was coming, long before the convention ever happened.

Boris Johnson: The EU wants a superstate, just as Hitler did

The European Union is pursuing a similar goal to Hitler in trying to create a powerful superstate, Boris Johnson says.

In a dramatic interview with the Telegraph, he warns that while bureaucrats in Brussels are using “different methods” from the Nazi dictator, they share the aim of unifying Europe under one “authority”.

But the EU’s “disastrous” failures have fuelled tensions between member states and allowed Germany to grow in power, “take over” the Italian economy and “destroy” Greece, he warns.

Napoleon, Hitler, various people tried this out, and it ends tragically. The EU is an attempt to do this by different methods.

Mr Johnson invokes Winston Churchill’s war-time defiance, urging the British people to be “the heroes of Europe” again, set the country free and save the EU from itself by voting to leave in the referendum next month.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The man is absolutely correct in his assessment; this is why we are looking at a potential brexit, frexit, and grexit.

Billions of dollars found in EPA's 'slush fund' bank accounts... same agency that poisoned the children of Flint and is building its own private paramilitary force

The shameful federal agency that was responsible, in large part, for poisoning scores of mostly African-American children with lead in Flint, Mich., as well as one of the worst river contaminations in Colorado history, has a secret slush fund it uses to fund shadowy operations that are beyond oversight.

As reported by The Daily Caller, the Environmental Protection Agency fund, which amounts to some $6.3 billion, comes from some 1,300 obscure spending accounts that are essentially out of reach of Congress, public watchdogs and the media.

The accounts, created via EPA's "Superfund" program, are not technically secret because the agency does acknowledge their existence. However, trying to get specific details about deposits into the accounts, as well as expenditures, has proven difficult at best.

USDA Forces Whole Foods to Accept Monsanto. Does this make whole foods just another grocery store?

A self-appointed cabal of the Organic Elite, spearheaded by Whole Foods Market, Organic Valley, and Stonyfield Farm, has decided it’s time to surrender to Monsanto. Top executives from these companies have publicly admitted that they no longer oppose the mass commercialization of GE crops, such as Monsanto’s controversial Roundup Ready alfalfa, and are prepared to sit down and cut a deal for “coexistence” with Monsanto and USDA biotech cheerleader Tom Vilsack.

In a cleverly worded, but profoundly misleading email sent to its customers last week, Whole Foods Market, while proclaiming their support for organics and “seed purity,” gave the green light to USDA bureaucrats to approve the “conditional deregulation” of Monsanto’s genetically engineered, herbicide-resistant alfalfa.

‘Many are invited; few accept’: Is the awakened’s role pointing to psychopathic .01% Empire to present a basic choice: serve Divine Justice OR be served to face Divine Justice?

*hyperlinks/videos live at source*

The story of Matthew 22:1-14 is Jesus stating that the choice for heaven is just this easy: accept the invitation.

To make this perfectly clear, the parable contrasts what not to do: don’t attack the messengers (more here).

The story ends with the famous line:

“Many are invited; but few accept.”

The story of Earth 2016 includes messengers for “heaven on Earth” (and here) technical solutions available here and now for all imaginable problems. Our history of inviting humans to accept this invitation seems to include the same punchline: “Many are invited; but few accept.”

But perhaps that is our mission, despite the ridiculous Emperor’s New Clothes facts in ~100 crucial areas for anyone caring to look, including:

Scenes From The Venezuela Apocalypse: "Countless Wounded" After 5,000 Loot Supermarket Looking For Food

Over the last several years we have documented with clockwork regularity Venezuela's collapse into failed state status, which was cemented several weeks ago when news hit that "Venezuela had officially run out of money to print new money." At that point the best one could do was merely to step back and watch as local society and civilization turned on itself, unleashing what would ultimately turn into Venezuela's own, sad apocalypse.

As we wrote then these are simply hungry Venezuelans protesting that their children are dying from lack of food and medicine and that they do not have enough water or electricity. As AgainstCronyCapitalism added, this is a country with more oil than Saudi Arabia, and the government has stolen all the money and now they bottleneck peaceful protesters and threaten them with bombs (or haul them to prison and torture them).

Webmaster's Commentary:

Unfortunately, economic mismanagement, coupled with US sanctions, and a strong appetite to bring down what had been a reasonably functional socialist country in South America, which committed the unforgivable sin of selling its oil in other currencies than the US dollars, are all converging on Venezuela simultaneously.

Watch, in the not to distant future, for the Maduro government to fall, and be replaced by a more US-Centric, right-wing government, which, at the end of the day, will bring no more help or comfort to its people than did the present government.

America Threatens Russia: US-NATO Forces “Moving from a Training to a War Fighting Stance”

In a report published in the American journal, National Security News, on May 9th, the day of the celebration of the victory of Soviet and allied forces over the fascist forces in 1945, it was stated that, “in terms of the eastern threat-which is a reference to Russia-EUCOM (the American Forces European Command) will be moving from a training to a war fighting stance.”

The article continues, “this does not mean that the U.S. is planning a war with Russia, merely that it will shift its force structure in a manner aimed at deterring Moscow and defending NATO and European partners should Russian President Vladimir Putin attempt what he has done in Ukraine.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

It is not a question of if, but when, such a war will happen, and President Obama seems hell-bent that it happen under his watch.

Why, and why in an election year?!?

First, because the American economy is close to an absolute, total collapse, and Obama wants a war with which to mask the real reasons for such a collapse, which is lousy Federal economic policy.

Secondly, out of spite, if Trump should win the election, Obama wants to simultaneously hand him the two worst scenarios with which any new President of this country could possibly contend; an economic depression, coupled with a war with Russia, from which he cannot readily disentangle.

Torture, War, Assassinations are Part of the “New Normal”: Bush-Obama Powers Will Pass to Next President

Remember when coups and assassinations were secretive, when presidents were obliged to go to Congress and tell lies and ask permission for wars, when torture, spying, and lawless imprisonment were illicit, when re-writing laws with signing statements and shutting down legal cases by yelling “state secrets!” was abusive, and when the idea of a president going through a list of men, women, and children on Tuesdays to pick whom to have murdered would have been deemed an outrage?

Webmaster's Commentary:

If this country's leadership ever had what could be characterised as a "moral center", it has been assassinated, courtesy of the last two administrations.

The only thing this country's leadership has, at the moment, is a "financial center", where wars are fought, not because of the US government being "on the right side of history", but how accessing resources around the world, to which American corporations have no moral right, justifies any wars this country's leadership might undertake.

It is a policy fraught with extraordinary hubris, and will ultimately bring the same result upon the US government as it did the Greek heroes of old; absolute, unmitigated disaster for this country.

Monsanto Takeover? Corporate Cabal's Control of Food Supply Continues

German chemical giants Bayer AG and BASF SE are both considering takeovers of U.S. seed behemoth Monsanto, according to news reports on Thursday.

Of the potential Bayer takeover of Monsanto, valued at roughly $40 billion, Bloomberg noted that it "would create the world’s largest supplier of seeds and farm chemicals."

As USA Today reported, "A bid for Monsanto would be just the most recent in a wave of chemical and agribusiness consolidation."

Indeed, in February China National Chemical Corp. (ChemChina) announced it would acquire Swiss pesticide company Syngenta for $43 billion, while DuPont and Dow Chemical announced their merger last year.

According to advocacy group Food & Water Watch, such consolidation has far-reaching impacts, and is bad news for farmers and communities.

Webmaster's Commentary:

IF you can still access heirloom seeds, uncontaminated by GMOS, now certainly would be the time to do so.

GMO products are "weapons of mass destruction" against the health of Americans, and should be avoided like the plague.

Home About Antiwar.com Donate Blog US Casualties Contact Latest NewsDraft Registration Looms for Women by 2018

Re-established by President Jimmy Carter in 1980 in retaliation for the Soviet invasion of Afghanistan, the Selective Service program has been spending hundreds of millions of dollars over the past 36 years registering all men aged 18-26 for a military draft which not only doesn’t exist, but which the Pentagon has repeatedly expressed public opposition to.

And while the program’s website brags that “It’s What a Man’s Got to Do,” the program is about to get a lot bigger, and by extension, a lot more expensive, as the Senate Armed Services Committee has followed its House counterpart in passing the Draft America’s Daughters Act of 2016, which would expand the registration requirement to women.

Sen. Sessions: Election offers a simple choice

For the first time in a long time, this November will give Americans a clear choice on perhaps the most important issue facing our country and our civilization: whether we remain a nation-state that serves its own people, or whether we slide irrevocably toward a soulless globalism that treats humans as interchangeable widgets in the world market.

In Donald Trump, we have a forceful advocate for America. Trump has said that our trade, immigration and foreign policies must be changed to protect the interests of American workers and our nation.

In Hillary Clinton, we have a committed globalist. Clinton was an ardent supporter of the Trans-Pacific Partnership — which surrenders American sovereignty to an international union of 12 countries — and has clearly left the door wide open to enacting the pact if elected.

The Vultures’ Vultures: How A New Hedge-Fund Strategy Is Corrupting Washington

Director of the Globalization Initiative at NDN, a progressive think tank.

Shapiro, it turns out, is but one foot soldier in the hedge fund infantry. Weaponizing the Term “Conspiracy Theory”

Conspiracy theory’ is a term that strikes fear and anxiety in the hearts of most every public figure, particularly journalists and academics. Since the 1960s the label has become a disciplinary device that has been overwhelmingly effective in defining certain events as off limits to inquiry or debate. Especially in the United States, raising legitimate questions about dubious official narratives destined to inform public opinion (and thereby public policy) is a major thought crime that must be cauterized from the public psyche at all costs… CIA Document 1035-960 played a definitive role in making the ‘conspiracy theory’ term a weapon to be wielded against almost any individual or group calling the government’s increasingly clandestine programs and activities into question. – From CIA Document 1035-960

WATCH: White cop brutally beats black teen for riding bike — then charges her with assault

Monique Tillman and her brother were bicycling home on May 24, 2014 when they cut through the parking lot of the Tacoma Mall. Officer Jared Williams, a uniformed white officer of the Tacoma Police Department, was working mall security that day. He pursued the two teenagers — who are black — and informed them that they were trespassing on mall property.

When the girl tried to explain that she and her brother live nearby and routinely cut through the parking lot, Williams became enraged and attacked the girl.

The officer jerked the girl off her bike and began choking her, slamming her against a car and slinging her around like rag doll. He then shocked her with a Taser.

“He was choking me, grabbed me by my hair and tried to slam my face into the concrete. The next thing I know, I’m on the ground being tased,” the girl said.

Williams arrested the teen and charged her with resisting arrest and assault on an officer. The charges were dismissed by the court.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I hope this officer is never, ever able to work as a police officer anywhere, in this country, and that the City of Tacoma is made to pay, big-time, for this horrific violence against an innocent young woman.

But what really bothers me about this is, what in heaven's name made this guy think he could employ such brutality with impunity and get away with it?!? What signals, at city, country, State, or Federal level, was he getting which made this kind of thing perfectly acceptable, in his mind?!?

That is the question I hope the City of Tacoma Council Members will be asking themselves as they wind up probably forking over millions to this family, courtesy of the actions of a rogue cop.

Homeland Security Creates Travel Havoc to Force People Into Precheck Programs

Homeland Security wants to force more travelers to become “known” to the government via PreCheck programs.

How do we know? Our specialty is analyzing the “memes” of mainstream media, the propaganda regularly presented to create acceptance for globalist solutions.

PEW RESEARCH STUDY – THE AMERICAN MIDDLE CLASS DECLINED IN 90% OF METRO AREAS FROM 2000-2014

When you bail out financial criminals and predators, you get a criminal and predatory economy. If there’s one clear lesson from the 2008 crisis and its aftermath, that should be it.

It’s what I like to call the Hunger Games economy. You’re thrown into the woods with a diminishing capacity to work hard and earn a middle income, and if you fail to enter the upper echelons you’ll be reduced to poverty. The result is insecurity, stress and ultimately resentment, which before too long bubbles to the surface in all sorts of unwelcome ways. A strong and vibrant middle class has always provided a buffer to truly nasty civil unrest and revolution in these United States. As it goes extinct, the probability of those things rises exponentially.

This correlation between a thriving middle class and lower levels of income inequality is the most significant takeaway from the study.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Ah, but those in power have always despised the middle class in this country because it was from the middle class where protest movements have arisen.

So, in both the Bush and Obama administrations, offshoring/outsourcing of jobs that used to be the backbone of what used to be a thriving American middle has continued, with a vengeance; please remember that this was not accidental, but an unspoken Federal policy, to appease those corporations which bought, and controlled, both administrations.

It is just that simple.

FARMERS SAY MONSANTO’S ROUNDUP GAVE THEM CANCER

Despite Monsanto’s claim that its Roundup weed-killer is “safe enough to drink,” four Nebraska farmers say the widely used herbicide gave them non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma.

The World Health Organization’s International Agency for Research on Cancer classifies glyphosate as “probably carcinogenic to humans” but Monsanto has promoted Roundup as “safe enough to drink,” the farmers say in their federal lawsuit.

“Roundup is used by Nebraskans raising everything from grain to grass and tulips to trees. Nothing on the label alerts users to health risks,” their attorney David Domina said in an interview. “Nebraskans deserve the benefit of the (World Health Organization) research, and protection against unknown exposure.”

Monsanto, based in St. Louis, is the world’s largest producer of glyphosate herbicides. The company made $4.8 billion from Roundup sales last year. It is applied to “Roundup-ready” crops that are genetically modified to resist it.

Webmaster's Commentary:

For reckless endangerment of public health, for everyone who signed off on this carcinogen, previous and current executives of Monsanto should be serving hard jail time, and NOT at a "Club Fed".

People who knowingly poison their brother and sister Americans, invoking "profits uber alles" should be as severely dealt with as the law allows.

Dilma out: Brazilian plutocracy sets 54mn votes on fire

Never in modern political history has it been so easy to “abolish the people” and simply erase 54 million votes cast in a free and fair presidential election.
Forget about hanging chads, as in Florida 2000. This is a day that will live in infamy all across the Global South – when what was one of its most dynamic democracies veered into a plutocratic regime, under a flimsy parliamentary/judicial veneer, with legal and constitutional guarantees now at the mercy of lowly comprador elites.

After the proverbial marathon, the Brazilian Senate voted 55-22 to put President Dilma Rousseff on trial for “crimes of responsibility” – related to alleged window dressing of the government’s budget.

Partially paralysed man with part of his head missing told he is 'fit for work' by government

A partially paralysed man with part of his head missing has been told he is fit for work by the government.

Kenny Bailey, who is waiting to have a metal plate inserted to reshape his skull and protect his brain, had his benefits slashed this week.

The father of two suffered a massive stroke, leaving him paralysed down one side of his body, and with severe memory problems.

An ambulance was delayed in getting to him, with a third of his skull removed to ease pressure on his brain.

But the Dept of Work Pensions cut his employment and support allowance - which he uses to pay his bills - following a medical examination.

He has lost £156 per fortnight, and will get £470 every four weeks, his Personal Independent Payment.

Brazil’s President Rousseff Suspended for Impeachment Trial

With a vote of 55 for and 22 against, senators decided to suspend Rousseff from her post for up to 180 days while they conduct an impeachment trial.

With the Senate decision, Vice-President Michel Temer will assume the Presidency. Rousseff exonerated most of her cabinet members so that Temer would not have to fire them. One of the only officials to remain is Central Bank President, Alexandre Tombini.

Minutes after the end of the voting session, Rousseff wrote on one of her social media accounts. “Unable to point out the crime committed, the Senate decided to suspend President Dilma (Roussef) and proceed with the impeachment.”

“Attorney General José Eduardo Cardozo, stressed that a historical injustice is being committed, where procedures such as the right to defense, are used to provide legitimacy to a process which is ripping up the Constitution” the post said. Rousseff is expected to release a taped statement later on today to the Brazilian people.

The government’s Senate leader, Humberto Costa told reporters that the PT (Workers’ Party) will continue to fight against the impeachment of President Rousseff ‘in Congress, in court and on the streets’.

Attorney Tom Ryan faulted Reagan for her office’s failure to send publicity pamphlets to an estimated 200,000 households in advance of Tuesday’s election, as required by law.

“She put her thumb on the scale and deprived hundreds of thousands of Arizona citizens on one of the most important issues of the day,” Ryan said, noting the pamphlet contains arguments for and against the two issues on Tuesday’s ballot. It also tells voters where to find their polling places.

However, he conceded his calls will go nowhere, but said they highlight his concern over the agenda Reagan's office has been pushing.

Detroit, Deprived of Life Sustaining Water: UN Investigates Human Rights Violations

Usually crimes against humanity take place behind closed doors, in concentration camps, Abu Ghraib-like torture settings or Nazi Germany; not so in 83% Black Detroit, Michigan. In the next few weeks, the international community will witness with eyes wide open the city of Detroit’s blatant violations of human rights. These crimes will be condoned and executed by Detroit officials with the full knowledge of the White House.

Access to water is considered a human right and access to safe and clean water is a core mission of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), however, 40% of the residents of Detroit will be deprived of the basic element of life: water. Children will go to school without baths and senior citizens will be deprived of water to take medicine. Having lost confidence in a US national commitment to saving the lives of citizens, advocacy groups have begun to petition the United Nations for an emergency response.

Webmaster's Commentary:

So, let me get this straight; access to clean water for Detroit citizens has become so awful that the UN has had to be brought in to investigate this issue?!?

ISRAELI COURT CONVICTS PALESTINIAN CHILD WHO WAS NEARLY BEATEN TO DEATH BY MOB

A Palestinian child, Ahmad Manasra, 14, was convicted Tuesday of two counts of attempted murder, despite a lack of evidence, a video showing him being severely beaten and insulted by a crowd shouting racial slurs, and video showing Israeli interrogators brutalizing and intimidating the crying child with no family member or lawyer present.

Manasra was 13 at the time of his arrest, and the Israeli court decided to allow the prosecution’s request to delay his court hearing until January, when he turned 14 and was allowed, under Israeli law, to be tried as an adult. The Israeli Knesset used Manasra’s case as an example when they voted several months ago to change the age at which a Palestinian child can be tried as an adult from 14 to 12.

Israeli children, in contrast, are considered ‘minors’ until the age of 18.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Welcome to Israeli "justice" for Palestinian children; trumped up charges against a Palestinian kid who was beaten, brutalized, and intimidated, with no family member or lawyer present.

There are no real rules, just convictions, and long jail sentences; this is done to instill in the Palestinian community as a whole a sense of learned helplessness, and that true justice will never be theirs.

YOUNG WOMAN'S OVARIES DESTROYED BY GARDASIL: MERCK 'FORGOT TO RESEARCH' EFFECTS OF VACCINE ON FEMALE REPRODUCTION

A newly-published study has revealed that Merck & Co., the corporate mastermind behind the infamous Gardasil vaccine for human papillomavirus (HPV), conveniently forgot to research the effects of this deadly vaccine on women's reproductive systems. And at least one young woman, in this case from Australia, bore the brunt of this inexcusable failure after discovering that her own ovaries had been completely destroyed as a result of getting the vaccine.

Published in the peer-reviewed British Medical Journal (BMJ), the harrowing recount of this young 16-year-old girl's experience should give pause to all parents currently being pressured by their doctors into having their young daughters jabbed with Gardasil. Robbed of her natural ability to experience full womanhood, this young woman experienced early menopause, in which her ovaries completely shut down before they were even able to fully develop.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Men do not get cervical cancer, because their anatomy has no cervix; so why the hell was there no testing on female animals' ovaries?!?

Did people at the highest corporate level know there was something wrong, that this vaccine could destroy women's ability to have children, and decide, invoking "profit uber alles", to simply sweep the damning evidence under the rug?!?

If you are getting pressure from your girls' schools or doctors, to have your daughters vaccinated with this vaccine, hand them this article, and say, NO, under absolutely no circumstances, will you have your daughter vaccinated.

Someone - if not several people - responsible for the introduction of this vaccine from Merck & Company should be doing hard time in jail because of this chemical's wretched track track record, in terms of irreversible side effects, as well as this.

FBI DOESN'T WANT PRIVACY LAWS TO APPLY TO ITS BIOMETRIC DATABASE

The FBI has been building a massive biometric database for the last eight years. The Next Generation Identification System (NGIS) starts with millions of photos of criminals (and non-criminals) and builds from there. Palm prints, fingerprints, iris scans, tattoos and biographies are all part of the mix.

Despite having promised to deliver a Privacy Impact Assessment of the database back in 2012, the FBI's system went livetowards the end of 2014 without one. That's a big problem, considering the database's blend of guilty/innocent Americans, along with its troublesome error rate. The FBI obviously hopes the false positive rate will continue to decline as tech capabilities improve, but any qualms about bogus hits have been placed on the back burner while the agency dumps every piece of data it can find into the database.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Simply said, the FBI wants total privacy for itself, no matter how compromised, or just plain wrong, the data they have may be, but absolutely zero privacy and transparency for We the People; it believes itself to be absolutely above the law here.

SWIFT SAYS SECOND BANK HIT BY MALWARE ATTACK

SWIFT, the global financial messaging network that banks use to move billions of dollars every day, warned on Thursday of a second malware attack similar to the one that led to February's $81 million cyberheist at the Bangladesh central bank.

The second case targeted a commercial bank, SWIFT spokeswoman Natasha de Teran said, without naming it.

SWIFT said in a statement that the attackers exhibited a "deep and sophisticated knowledge of specific operational controls" at targeted banks and may have been aided by "malicious insiders or cyber attacks, or a combination of both."

The organisation, a Belgian co-operative owned by member banks, said that forensic experts believe the second case showed that the Bangladesh heist "was not a single occurrence, but part of a wider and highly adaptive campaign targeting banks."

Webmaster's Commentary:

Federal judge rules Obamacare is being funded unconstitutionally

House Republicans won Round 2 in a potentially historic lawsuit Thursday when a federal judge declared the Obama administration was unconstitutionally spending money to subsidize health insurers without obtaining an appropriation from Congress.

Last year, U.S. District Court Judge Rosemary Collyer broke new ground by ruling the GOP-controlled House of Representatives had legal standing to sue the president over how he was enforcing his signature healthcare law.

On Thursday, she ruled the administration is violating a provision of the law by paying promised reimbursements to health insurers who provide coverage at reduced costs to low-income Americans.

The judge's ruling, while a setback for the administration, was put on hold immediately and stands a good chance of being overturned on appeal.

But the 38-page opinion highlights the repeated complaint from Republicans that Obama and his administration have ignored constitutional limits on their authority.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This will probably go all the way up to the Supreme Court, if they chose to hear it; but the question is, will the 9th Justice be installed, to replace Justice Scalia, or will it be a divide between the current 8 Justices?!?

US To Issue Decree On Transgender Access To School Restrooms: Report

The Obama administration is planning to issue a sweeping decree telling every public school district in the country to allow transgender students to use the restrooms that match their gender identity, the New York Times reported on Thursday.

The letter to school districts that will go out on Friday describing what they should do to ensure that none of their students are discriminated against is signed by officials of the Justice Department and Education Department, according to the Times.

It does not have the force of law but contains an implicit threat that schools that do not abide by the Obama administration's interpretation of the law could face lawsuits or a loss of federal aid, the newspaper said.

Official US defence and NATO documents confirm that autonomous weapon systems will kill targets, including civilians, based on tweets, blogs and Instagram

An unclassified 2016 Department of Defense (DoD) document, the Human Systems Roadmap Review, reveals that the US military plans to create artificially intelligent (AI) autonomous weapon systems, which will use predictive social media analytics to make decisions on lethal force with minimal human involvement. Despite official insistence that humans will retain a “meaningful” degree of control over autonomous weapon systems, this and other Pentagon documents dated from 2015 to 2016 confirm that US military planners are already developing technologies designed to enable swarms of “self-aware” interconnected robots to design and execute kill operations against robot-selected targets.

Straight into the paper shredder: Texas responds to Obama’s transgender bathroom mandate

The Obama administration just released a mandate on Friday forcing all educators to allow students use bathrooms that correspond to their gender identity rather than their biological sex. The mandate has been extremely controversial, affecting all public schools and most colleges and universities that are federally funded.

“I got news for President Barack Obama,” Port Neches-Groves (Texas) Superintendent Rodney Canvass told 12News. “He ain’t my President and he can’t tell me what to do. That letter is going straight to the paper shredder. I have 5 daughters myself and I have 2,500 girls in my protection. Their moms and dads expect me to protect them. And that is what I am going to do. Now I don’t want them bullied… but there are accommodations that can be made short of this. He is destroying the very fiber of this country. He is not a leader. “Unconstitutional”: Federal Judge Rules Obamacare Illegally Funded Without Congress Authorization

This system encourages sick people, and creates loopholes for crony financiers to reap the profits. It is the people who must pay for it… say what you will, but there is little promise that it will be overturned:

On Thursday, [U.S. District Court Judge Rosemary Collyer] ruled the administration is violating a provision of the law by paying promised reimbursements to health insurers who provide coverage at reduced costs to low-income Americans.

“Paying [those] reimbursements without an appropriation thus violates the Constitution,” she wrote. “Congress is the only source for such an appropriation, and no public money can be spent without one.”

Brazil to Suffer Unelectable, Corrupt Neoliberal

Brazil’s Democracy to Suffer Grievous Blow as Unelectable, Corrupt Neoliberal is Installed
Glenn Greenwald

In 2002, Brazil’s left-of-center Workers Party (PT) ascended to the presidency when Lula da Silva won in a landslide over the candidate of the center-right party PSDB (throughout 2002, “markets” were indignant at the mere prospect of PT’s victory). The PT remained in power when Lula, in 2006, was re-elected in another landslide against a different PSDB candidate. PT’s enemies thought they had their chance to get rid of PT in 2010, when Lula was barred by term limits from running again, but their hopes were crushed when Lula’s handpicked successor, the previously unknown Dilma Rousseff, won by 12 points over the same PSDB candidate who lost to Lula in 2002. In 2014, PT’s enemies poured huge amounts of money and resources into defeating her, believing she was vulnerable and that they had finally found a star PSDB candidate, but they lost again, this time narrowly, as Dilma was re-elected with 54 million votes.

In sum, PT has won four straight national elections – the last one occurring just 18 months ago. Its opponents have vigorously tried – and failed – to defeat them at the ballot box, largely due to PT’s support among Brazil’s poor and working classes.

Emanuel keeps Wall Street waiting on pension overhaul

When the Illinois Supreme Court decisively rejected Mayor Rahm Emanuel's plan to keep two city worker pension systems from going broke, City Hall told nervous credit-rating agencies it would have an alternate fix within weeks.

Nearly seven weeks later, Emanuel's top aides have yet to propose any new ideas, much less file the state legislation that would be needed to make it reality.

Playing the waiting game are Wall Street analysts. Their pronouncements on Chicago's creditworthiness determine how much it costs the city to borrow money, and they've already warned that further downgrades could be coming if there is no solution for the pension funds covering municipal workers and laborers.

Another hit to the credit rating most likely would result in even higher interest rates at a time Emanuel is making plans to borrow up to $600 million in the coming months>>>

A Chronic Problem

***First, the governments of rich countries allowed their debts to rise, offsetting the reduction in private debt. In addition, emerging markets (notably China) continued to borrow. So there was no global deleveraging; quite the reverse (see chart). Central banks also helped, slashing interest rates to zero and below. Although lower policy rates have not always resulted in cheaper borrowing costs (in Greece, for example), debt-servicing costs have fallen in most developed countries.

Although this approach has staved off disaster, it has not got rid of the problem, as a research note from Manoj Pradhan, an economist at Morgan Stanley, makes clear. “High debt forces interest rates to stay low, which encourages yet more debt,” Mr Pradhan writes. Central banks dare not push interest rates up too quickly for fear of causing another crisis; hence the stop-start nature of the Federal Reserve’s statements on monetary policy. The developed world seems stuck with sluggish growth and low rates.

Dept. of Justice Investigating Hillary Clinton Email Scandal Gave $75K To Her Campaign

House Republicans win Affordable Care Act lawsuit

In a major win for House Republicans, a federal judge ruled Thursday that the Obama administration inappropriately spent money to pay for part of the Affordable Care Act.

The Obama administration is expected to appeal the decision, and the judge said she would stay her ruling pending an appeal.

House Republicans had alleged that the administration illegally spent money that Congress never appropriated for the ACA's cost-sharing provisions. Those provisions include reduced deductibles, copayments and coinsurance many Americans receive, depending on income, for plans purchased through the ACA's insurance exchanges.

Collecting rainwater now illegal in many states as Big Government claims ownership over our water

Many of the freedoms we enjoy here in the U.S. are quickly eroding as the nation transforms from the land of the free into the land of the enslaved, but what I'm about to share with you takes the assault on our freedoms to a whole new level. You may not be aware of this, but many Western states, including Utah, Washington and Colorado, have long outlawed individuals from collecting rainwater on their own properties because, according to officials, that rain belongs to someone else.

Poultry Workers Wear Nappies Over Lack Of Breaks

Workers for some of the largest poultry producers in the US are resorting to wearing nappies while on the processing line because they are being denied bathroom breaks, an Oxfam America report has revealed.

The report, which involved interviews with employees at Tyson Foods, Pilgrim's Pride, Perdue Farms and Sanderson Farms, revealed workers were subjected to ridicule or punishment if they requested toilet breaks while working on the line.

It claims some employees were forced to urinate and defecate where they stood, or restrict how much they ate and drank to dangerous levels for fear of losing their jobs.

Turkey gears up for ‘anti-Daesh’ operations in Syria

Turkey has threatened to launch unilateral “operations” on Syrian soil allegedly against Daesh terrorists amid long-running speculations on Ankara’s covert plans for a military intervention in the Arab state.

On Thursday, Turkish President Erdogan said Ankara “is doing all the necessary preparations to clean the other side of the border because of the problems in” Kilis Province near the southeastern frontier with Syria, which has come under several rocket attacks since January.

Erdogan, however, did not provide more details on the preparations.

He added that Turkey has not received enough support from other members of the US-led coalition purportedly fighting Daesh Takfiri militants and stressed, “Let me say it here. We will not hesitate to take needed steps on our own if necessary.”

“We do not believe the sincerity of any country that has not seen rockets falling on our town as if they fell on Moscow, London, Brussels, Washington, Paris or Berlin,” he said.

Obamacare Rules Change Opens Door For State Bailouts

Under the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare), the government spent $2.4 billion creating 23 non-profit healthcare cooperatives which were intended to help drive down health insurance costs through competition with for-profit companies.

As we noted, insurance premiums have subsequently skyrocketed, 12 of the 23 co-ops lost so much money that they had to shut down, and the remaining 11 lost a combined $400 million last year. So far, so good on the Obamacare front.

Now we learn, courtesy of The Daily Signal, that the Obama administration is changing the rules midstream so that the remaining 11 co-ops can have state governments place officials on their boards of directors, and make it easier to attract outside investors.

Said otherwise, the moves ultimately make a state bailout possible.

Senate Kicks Off Debate Over Reauthorizing Controversial NSA Programs

THE SENATE JUDICIARY COMMITTEE summoned a handful of cybersecurity, privacy, and national security experts on Tuesday to lay out the pros and cons of reauthorizing the law the NSA says authorizes it to collect hundreds of millions of online communications from providers like Facebook and Google as well as straight off the internet’s backbone.

The NSA spying programs PRISM and Upstream are ostensibly aimed at “foreign targets” but nevertheless scoop up a potentially vast but non-public number of communications involving innocent Americans, some of which are made accessible to domestic law enforcement agencies.

Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Amendments Act of 2008, the authority cited for the programs, will sunset in December 2017. That gives privacy advocates the same kind of leverage they had in 2015, when the sunset of some Patriot Act provisions led Congress to end bulk collection of domestic phone records.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Once laws like this are enacted and enforced, when it comes to domestic spying, they are more difficult to root out than is a cancer.

So, here's the deal, Director of Intelligence Clapper; I am a Christian pacifist activist, who encourages this government to create foreign and domestic policies based on logic and honest, hard-won, moral negotiations.

I see war, in general, as a lousy way to resolve geopolitical disputes.

I politely, logically point out where I think this government has gone wrong, and probably what they can do to correct it.

I never, ever advocate violence.

Does this make me, one of the most non-hurtful, gentle people you would ever meet this lifetime, a "domestic terrorist" in your eyes, because I refuse to accept the current status quo, particularly on the US's current geopolitical policies?!?

Unfortunately, I am guessing that this is the characterisation you would most likely use.

It is completely untrue, and somewhere, in your heart of hearts, you know this.

But I cannot, and will not, stop speaking out, quietly, logically and peacefully, to express my point of view; that is just not going to happen, sir.

The US government is,at this very moment, at the very dangerous precipice of creating a major world war.

This is happening because it got out of its financial depressions in the 20th century through entering the First and Second World Wars, so many of its members think this is a good idea.

However, Mr. Clapper, I would strongly, and soberly, caution the members of this government that war, against Russia, and/or China, is a really bad idea, and particularly at this moment in our history.

This is because the US military doesn't have the weaponry, the troop strength, the money, or the manufacturing, to insure a positive outcome to a conventional war against Russia and/or China.

Our weapons procurement system is rife with corruption, and weapons makers pay Congressional representatives, overtly and covertly, for weapons contracts. This means that when these weapons are ultimately deployed, they are late, hideously over budget, and do not perform anywhere near to spec.

As I said earlier in this post, I abhor war; but if our military are ordered to fight, I want them to have the best weaponry possible, and the current US weapons procurement system makes that...impossible.

9/11 judge and prosecutors should step down over 'destroyed evidence', defense demands

An explosive allegation about destroyed evidence threatens to unravel the already shaky military tribunal for the alleged architect of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Attorneys for Khalid Sheikh Mohammed are calling on the judge and the entire prosecution team in Mohammed’s military commission at Guantánamo Bay to step down from the long-running case over what a member of the defense team called “at least the appearance of collusion” that led to the government apparently secretly destroying information relevant to the premier post-9/11 tribunal.

The defense team further argues that the destruction of evidence ought to spell the end of Mohammed’s military trial entirely, a development that would leave the Obama administration and its successor to come up with an entirely new plan for what to do with the top terror suspect in US custody.

Saudi Military Threatens to Occupy Yemen Capital if Peace Talks Fail

Saudi Arabian Brig. Gen. Ahmed Asiri, the spokesman for the Saudi-led military coalition that has been attacking Yemen since March of 2015, today warned that if the ongoing peace talks in Kuwait fail, Saudi troops would respond with a military occupation of the Yemeni capital of Sanaa.

The timing of the threat is curious, as after the talks were paused last week, they made their first major progress only yesterday, with a massive prisoner exchange agreed to that officials say could free thousands of people on both sides.

Though this is still far from resolving the war, the prisoner release is a big step forward, and among Yemeni officials on both sides, there seems to be a lot more interest in continuing the talks than there had been in previous international efforts for talks.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Perhaps General Asiri is making this claim about establishing a Saudi military occupation in Sanaa for the following reason. As reported in militarytimes.com on Sunday, 8 May:

A “small number” of U.S troops are deployed on the ground in Yemen to help fight the al-Qaida affiliate there that was controlling a major port city, a defense official said Friday. A Pentagon spokesman declined to say how many U.S. troops are there supporting operations led by the Yemeni military and the United Arab Emirates around the port city of Mukalla. “We have a small number of people who have been providing intelligence support,” the spokesman, Navy Capt. Jeff Davis, told reporters Friday. The U.S. troops deployed about two weeks ago and are at a “fixed location” providing intelligence support as well as “airborne [intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance], advice and assistance with operational planning, maritime interdiction and security operations, medical support and aerial refueling,” Davis said. Additional U.S. support for the Mukalla operations is provided by the amphibious assault ship Boxer, which is staged off the coast of Yemen with about 4,500 Marines from the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit. The ship is providing medical support to the Emirate troops, Davis said.

OK, let me get this straight: we have an amphibious assault ship, USS Boxer, staged off the coast of Yemen, with a crew of 4,500 Marines, allegedly to provide "medical support" to Emirate troops?!?

That may be the "good reason", but is it the "real reason" for this deployment?!?

Again, let's take a look at a map of Yemen.

map

Mukalla creates the Southern border of Yemen; Saudi Arabia is at its Northern border.

I have to wonder if General Asiri is planning on a massive push from the Saudi Arabian side, complemented, simultaneously, by a huge US push from those 4,500 troops on the USS Boxer, from the south.

IF such a plan is being considered, it will create an unimaginable bloodbath in Yemen; but President Obama is NOT going to let the Yemenite people get away with anything remotely resembling peaceful self-determination, when that government is not to his liking.

Brazil’s Democracy to Suffer Grievous Blow Today as Unelectable, Corrupt Neoliberal is Installed

Colombia Fears U.S. May Reject Peace Plan To Protect Pharma Profits

The Colombian Embassy is concerned that lowering the price of a major cancer drug may jeopardize American funding for peace talks in the South American nation, according to a leaked embassy memo.

In February, President Barack Obama committed $450 million to aid peace talks between the Colombian government and the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia, a Marxist rebel group known as FARC. The money would help the Colombian government fight the illegal drug trade and retrain FARC members.

But in an April 27 memo, Colombian diplomat Andrés Flórez said he was worried the U.S. would withhold peace funding if the Colombian government lowered prices on the drug Gleevec, also sold as Glivec. The memo was first posted by the think tank Knowledge Ecology International.

“Oh, I love New Zealand. It’s one of the most beautiful places on Earth. It’s…what? What did you say?…No, that’s impossible. That couldn’t be happening. They’re doing what??”

American tanks in Putin's 'backyard': US and British soldiers join the Georgian army on two weeks of military drills - angering Russia

The Georgian army has begun two weeks of military exercises with the United States and Britain - despite Russia's anger as American tanks rolled into its backyard.

Hundreds of soldiers gathered at the military base of Vaziani - once used by Russia, just outside the capital Tbilisi - for the opening ceremony of the exercise, dubbed 'Noble Partner 2016'.
As the sky filled with paratroopers while some 650 American, 150 British and 500 Georgian soldiers watched on in front of a fleet of tanks, Moscow's anger was almost palpable.

Last week, it said the decision to hold the exercise on its doorstep was 'provocative' and 'aimed at deliberately rocking the military-political situation in the South Caucasus'.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Let's look at a map of the region.

map

The South Caucasus regions of Russia, including Chechnya and Dagestan, have always been volatile for Moscow to continue to control, and we still see sporadic fighting against the Russian Federation here.

So why is Putin so upset that British and US soldiers are operating close to the borders of these areas?!? As reported on May 9th of this year at russialist.org:

Since last autumn, the authorities in Dagestan have ramped up pressure against Salafis. They have reason to worry: as Moscow launched air strikes in support of Syria’s government, the Islamic State (IS) declared a holy war on Russia, took credit for downing a Russian passenger jet over Egypt and released a video threatening “a sea of blood” in Russia itself. […]

Many Russians from Chechnya and Dagestan have been found in Syria and Iraq, fighting for ISIS, so the Russian government is understandably concerned about any foreign troops in Georgia, who might just slip across the border and "encourage" more jihad, both in these regions of Russia, and in Syria and Iraq as well.

NEVER-ENDING ‘GUN SHOW’: US GOV’T SENT $2BN IN MILITARY GEAR TO COPS SINCE ’06

Thousands of military weapons and trucks, as well as hundreds of aircraft, worth roughly $2.2 billion have been sent by the Pentagon to police departments around the United States over the last 10 years, a new report has found.

Even small police departments are being armed with surplus military gear from the Department of Defense’s 1033 program, shows the report, compiled by the transparency advocacy group Open the Books. Since 2006, more than 83,000 M16 and M14 rifles worth $31 million have been transferred into the hands of local police. Law enforcement officers received another 8,198 pistols and nearly 1,400 shotguns as well.

When Excess Is A Virtue

It’s good news that Donald Trump is doing so well in the American political primaries. He is vulgar, abusive, nasty, rude, boorish and outrageous. He is also saying what he thinks and, more important, teaching Americans how to think for themselves again. No one could be a bigger contrast to the spineless, pusillanimous and underdeserving Barack Obama, who has never done a thing for himself and is entirely the creation of reverse discrimination. The fact that he was elected President–not once, but twice–shows how deep-set the rot is and how far along the road to national impotence the country has traveled.

'Justice For Jack' Woman Angrily Cross-Examines Sheriff, He Turns Into A Sheepish Sniveling 3rd Grader

The characterization of this exchange is mine alone, but I couldn't resist but post this clip from the local Adams County Idaho Council meeting. Jack Yantis is the 62-year-old rancher killed by Adams County, Idaho deputies last November 1. 'Justice for Jack Yantis' advocates attended a council meeting earlier this week, and one woman read a prepared statement. But what occurred after that is even better. Adams county Sheriff Ryan Zollman was present at the meeting, and afterwards, she had a chance to question him in an impromptu, spontaneous exchange. She asks tough questions about the recently leaked police memo which stated that Deputy Brian Wood was increasingly unstable, had explosives, and threatened "if cops are involved shots will be fired." This guy looks like a sheepish kingergardner who is in trouble, getting scolded by the teacher.

Fired professor, James Tracy, sues his University

I’ve read his court filing. It appears to me that Tracy’s own union took his side and then betrayed him. It appears to me that the University cooked up a fake reason for firing him: he didn’t send in a vaguely worded form they wanted him to sign.

But the real reason had to do with Tracy’s view about Sandy Hook: that it was a hoax. It doesn’t matter whether you or I or anyone else agrees with his assessment. What matters is his inherent right to express his view.

The University doesn’t want to grant Tracy that right. The University is worried about press blowback and “reputation.” Apparently, shutting down free speech doesn’t affect the University’s standing in this day and age. It’s an easy sell.

Has the Global Depression Begun? (US rail traffic and the Baltic Dry Index crater)

U.S. rail traffic was down more than 11 percent from a year ago in April. That is an absolutely catastrophic number, and the U.S. rail industry is feeling an enormous amount of pain right now. This also tells us that “the real economy” is really slowing down because less stuff is being shipped by rail all over the nation.

France forces through labour bill without lawmakers vote

Bolt Neck’s World of Open Borders

Bankrupt Empires Often Start Wars

We know that central banks and governments have lost the plot. When the crisis started in 2006, US short rates were 5%. In 2008, they were down to zero and have virtually stayed there ever since. A crisis package of $25 trillion was thrown at the financial system. This is what the likes of JP Morgan and Goldman told the Fed they had to do to save the bank(-ers). Ten years later the world financial system is in a mess that is exponentially greater. World debt has exploded, most governments are running deficits and the financial system is balancing dangerously on the edge of a precipice. $8 trillion of government debt is now negative and $16 trillion is below 1%.

WEALTH CONFISCATION FOR THE DIGITAL AGE: THE NEW “CASH TAX”

In a normal world, your bank pays you interest on your savings. It takes your money, pools it with other people’s money, and loans it out. The bank makes money by paying out less in interest on your deposit than it earns in interest from borrowers. For example, it might pay out 3% to depositors while earning 6% from borrowers. This is how it has worked for decades.

Negative interest rates turn your “normal” bank account upside down. They could only exist in a crazy world where idiot politicians are in control. Unfortunately, that’s just what we’re dealing with right now.

Politicians all over the world are ordering banks to charge depositors (you) a fee for storing cash. It’s a perversion of saving. It’s a perversion of capitalism. It’s a perversion of planning for the future.

And it’s going to result in disaster.

Government Loves To Pull the Trigger

The thing is, when government game bureaucrats kill mountain lions, the lions cannot understand why they’re being shot. This is a futile gesture because you can’t even know this is the lion preying on the sheep. You just took a guess and pulled the trigger. I would say that’s exactly how the United States foreign policy is based: They just take a guess and pull the trigger.

Clinton’s quest for power at any price

The lies and campaign rhetoric would be laughable except for the fact that the only real contenders remaining are Republican Donald Trump and Democrat Hillary Clinton. Both bend the truth, charitably speaking, and Clinton has proven to be an exceptionally adept liar. Little wonder she is considered untrustworthy by half of those polled on the issue.

Trump’s Time: The Donald Can Beat Hillary Without NeverTrump

As Donald Trump prepares for an epic battle with “First Enabler” Hillary Clinton, the media is too focused on party unity and are oblivious to the fact that denunciation of Trump by failed elites like the Bush’s as well as the prevarications of Paul Ryan only fuel his rise, as did the opposition of Mexico’s ex-president, the Chinese Communists, the Pope, David Cameron, the Saudis, and Mitt Romney. The political class is discredited with voters hungry for change.

America: No country for young men

Shocking new figures out from the Congressional Budget Office reveal that one out of every six young men in America is either unemployed or incarcerated. The figures illustrate a growing trend of disenfranchisement for men aged 18 to 35 which first emerged in the 1980s. During that decade, however, just 11 percent of the nation’s young men were either jobless or imprisoned.

Presidential Elections: The Business Of Illusion

The election itself is a sham: it provides the illusion of choice, when it is the ones who pull the strings behind the scenes that select their “president” long before any of the uncomprehending public pulls a lever. Controlled by the bankers, corporations, and those “vetted” and in positions of power within a myriad of interlocking globalist cliques (the Club of Rome, Bilderbergers, CFR, etc., ad infinitum) the elections place in office those who will follow their agendas in a time-frame of their choosing.

How Schooling Leads to War

How did we become so manipulable and herd-like? So easily spooked into hysterical stampedes? So docile and ready to be driven by our government herders over the precipice of war?

In a word, near-universal compulsory schooling. In school, students are not so much taught as they are conditioned. Schooling deeply ingrains certain mentalities that foster militancy: timidity and tribalism, dependency and docility, conformity and credulity. And so schools sow the spiritual seeds of war.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Critical thinking, and intelligent, reasoned challenge to the status quo, are nearly strictly forbidden in public education these days; and those students who dare to indulge in these activities may find themselves severely punished.

NYT Endorses US-Sponsored Coup Attempt in Venezuela

The Times is a longstanding mouthpiece for wealth, power and privilege. Its record is deplorable - pro-business, anti-populist, endorsing all US wars of aggression, color revolutions and coups by other means against sovereign independent states.

It denigrated Hugo Chavez throughout his tenure, calling him “a would-be dictator…a populist demagogue…an authoritarian caudillo (strongman),” among other pejoratives.

It bashes President Nicolas Maduro the same way. Its history shows a consistent record of supporting despotic regimes like Saudi Arabia, other repressive Gulf States, Egypt, Turkey and Israel among others, while opposing sovereign independent democratic governments Washington doesn’t control.

Majority US supported Venezuelan National Assembly fascists openly call for ousting democratically elected President Maduro.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The support of coups on governments not to the US Governments liking are, unfortunately, as American as apple pie.

Unfortunately, however, some really bad planning on the part of Maduro's government goes right to the heart of the problem. As reported yesterday at bloomberg.com:

Making sense of the rolling political and economic disaster in Venezuela isn't easy. But the bigger mystery may be why the whole country isn't flooding into the streets to demand the end of the social revolution that's left one of Latin America's most resource-rich nations in a shambles. Start with the riddle of why the country with the world's largest crude oil reserves has suffered constant power outages. (Spoiler: instead of using oil to generate electricity, the government has relied on hydropower while failing to plan for this year's punishing drought; it neglected to build new power plants or invest in its crumbling infrastructure.) And how has President Nicolas Maduro responded to the energy crisis? He cut the work week for public servants to two days. Along with the furlough, Maduro -- who also is presiding over the world's worst recession -- ordered a 30 percent hike in the national minimum wage. Just how much the crowd-pleasing bonus will matter in a country with high triple-digit inflation, where consumers queueing for hours can't find eight out of 10 staple goods at grocery stores, is debatable. Not to mention that Venezuela is literally running out of bank notes. Venezuela's Revolution The fact is, the Maduro government may have lost its way, but it's still got an iron grip on this nation of 30 million people. And that residual clout, coupled with disarray among the president's political foes, has given the regime the benefit of public doubt even in desperate times.

Complaints of anti-Semitism derail New Albany Amnesty International chapter

New Albany High School has suspended a student chapter of Amnesty International after receiving complaints that the human-rights group is anti-Semitic.

The district made the move to respect the school's diversity and shield students from a potential political firestorm, officials said.

Economic Collapse Logistics For The Government

Many feel a collapse of any kind is impossible in the mighty USA but times change and anyone that fails to heed the warnings will pay dearly when events unfold and they find it is to late to get the supplies they need. People buy many types of insurance just in case. They save for retirement just to make sure. Then they ignore economic warnings that make all those things useless. The government helps people when it is convenient for them. The government has also shown its willingness and ability to take from people when it suits them. Any government big enough to give you anything you want is also big enough to take everything you have. And, they will eventually.

DIVESTING FROM THE PRISON PROFITEERS YOU SUPPORT EVERY DAY

3M, the company best known as the maker of Scotch tape, holds numerous contracts with prison systems. (Photo:anonphotography.com; Edited: LW / TO)Incarceration has become a big business in the US, which is now home to the world's largest prison population. Amid a growing dialogue about mass incarceration, the dubious ethics (and horrible track records) of private prisons have generated widespread outrage.

But the privatization of prison facilities by for-profit corporations is just the tip of the iceberg. Every aspect of incarceration provides an opportunity for someone to make a buck. State and federal governments spend billions to run prisons, jails and detention centers. Each one is like a small city, requiring infrastructure, services and upkeep -- all of which can be outsourced, including:

Design and construction of prisons;

Furniture, from guards' desks to the metal bunks prisoners sleep on;

Prisoners' medical and mental health care;

Webmaster's Commentary:

At a time when Sweden is closing their prisons, because they focus almost completely on rehabilitation, the US's prisons are doing horrifically, with terrible recidivism rates.

And private prisons are among the worst of the worst, in terms of prisoners serving their time, getting out, and re-offending; they should be outlawed, but somehow, generous campaign contributions at state and federal levels keep them open, with their populations growing and festering.

Corporations Pushing Globalist Agendas Equals a New Era of American Fascism

What is the tie-in between abortion, anti-gun legislation, and gay marriage? You guessed it, the U.N. There is now a recent fad of multi-national corporations "coming out" in support of very politicized agendas such as gay marriage, abortion and anti-gun support, effectively dividing the country in half. From a purely Chief Financial Officer point of view you would think that alienating literally 50% of your customer base would be corporate suicide, right? How can a company even survive ticking off 150 million customers on issues that fundamentally are offensive to them? Case in point the laughable state of Target's company stock plunges due to its obscene allowance of men into woman's bathrooms if they self-identify as woman.
