Former Presidents Come Together for Photo-Op As Internet Forgets They’re ALL War Criminals

Five former presidents of the United States came together for a hurricane relief benefit, and their photo-op with musician Lady Gaga led to a surprising reaction—the Internet loved it! Not only did the public put politics aside, it also seems to have forgotten about all of the things these men have done to give them a very different title: War Criminal.

Trump and the Second Coming of Nuclear Nightmares (Literally)

The U.S. president has revived the fear of a nuclear holocaust for a new generation.

The first age of nuclear nightmares came in the 1950s and 1960s. They chiefly afflicted the young. Their parents had experienced nuclear realities by way of bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki. That was part of a war, and ended it. It was normalized and rational, though in a basically ungraspable way.

Their kids grew up in a peaceful world haunted by nuclear terrors. Their teachers taught them to “duck and cover” beneath their desks if they saw the nuclear flash. They had nightmares (and waking ones) of it. The only moment of apparent imminence came during the 1962 Cuba Missile Crisis.>>>

Israeli Merkava Hit by Hezbollah in 2006

This is what Hezbollah fighters did to Merkava MBT's in 2006 with Kornet ATGM's. The Israelis advanced up valleys without clearing the ridges. The Kornet outranged the Israeli's tank guns by over 1,000 meters and the Israelis couldn't elevate their tank cannons enough to shoot back anyway. They were out thought and out fought.
The IDF has been fighting unarmed people in the main since 1973. Hezbollah, the Iranians and Syrians are experienced blooded fighters with good weapons and tactics as well as strategy and they are backed up by The Bear. All the Israelis have left are nukes and the weakened US.
A very dangerous situation for the Planet and the People indeed..

Seasoned FOX NEWS Anchor Wants to Shut Down the Cries of “Fake News!”

(*Chris) Wallace wants to see the success of Fox News, but in an interview with the Associated Press, he expressed a bit of discomfort with hearing the talking points of his colleagues.

"It bothers me,” Wallace said in an interview. “If they want to say they like Trump, or that they’re upset with the Democrats, that’s fine. That’s opinion. That’s what they do for a living.

“I don’t like them bashing the media, because oftentimes what they’re bashing is stuff that we on the news side are doing. I don’t think they recognize that they have a role at Fox News and we have a role at Fox News. I don’t know what’s in their head. I just think it’s bad form.”

It is bad form, especially when they work for a news channel that has, likewise, been accused of being “fake news.”

Myths About Britain's 'Finest Hour'

There's a myth now about the British hanging together in those dark days [of 1939-1941]. "London can take it," Ed Murrow told America in his CBS broadcasts. Actually, morale was appalling. Most people correctly had little confidence in the competence of their government and thought Germany was going to win. In the Channel Islands, which the Nazis did take over, the people greeted them hospitably and turned in Jews with zest. The British Ministry of Information employed 10,000 people to read people's mail surreptitiously, intercepting about 200,000 letters a week, and discovered that people were deeply pessimistic and thought Churchill was "played out."

“As the 20th century draws to a close, the United States stands as the world’s most preeminent power. Having led the West to victory in the Cold War, America faces an opportunity and a challenge: Does
the United States have the vision to build upon the achievement of
past decades? Does the United States have the resolve to shape a new century favorable to American principles and interests?

“[What we require is] a military that is strong and ready to meet

Taliban Destroys Afghan Army Base in Kandahar

A major Taliban attack in Afghanistan’s Kandahar Province has resulted in the destruction of an entire Afghan Army base, and the deaths of at least 58 Afghan soldiers. The toll is expected to rise with others wounded and six still missing.

The attacks began with the Taliban detonating two armored vehicles full of explosives, causing massive damage. Other Taliban swooped into the base and destroyed everything that was left.

“Unfortunately there is nothing left inside the camp,” the Afghan Defense Ministry confirmed. “They have burned down everything they found inside. This is the latest of several major attacks on Afghan security forces in the past few days

Webmaster's Commentary:

Sec Def Mattis, a word please: if the current US/NATO "Surge" is working, why, please, are these Taliban attacks escalating by the day?!?

You have to know that the US government is paralyzed by a fear of appearing as having failed in Afghanistan.

Wise Presidential leadership with any small grasp of the history of this part of the world would never make the mistake of engaging Afghanistan militarily in a heartbeat.

But what we had, in 2001, was the horrifically polar opposite from wisdom, feebly illuminated in the person of one George W. Bush, scion of a wealthy Texas oil family which believed, as a matter of personal dogma, that it had a "divine right" to rule the White House, via the second most criminal and skewed election in America's history.

Adept speech writers, and highly scripted photo ops, could only barely mask the innate lack of intelligence Bush possessed, so he could be easily railroaded into military misadventures which had abosolutely zero chance to be successful in either the short run or long run.

Bush and his unholy enablers, Cheney and Rumsfeld, cheerled the idea, when the money the Taliban wanted for use of their oil pipelines was far more than US oil companies were willing to pay, plus you had the instability issue in the country here.

The result of the invasion and occupation of Afghanistan has been a collosal strategic failure, bought at catastrophic cost in blood and money. You, as a military professional who is highly respected, and in fact, some say, revered by your troops, understand this.

You and President Trump's team have been very "agitated" about what the international community may think about the US and NATO leaving Afghanistan; but it is high time you paid just a little attention, please, to the folks who worked, against all odds, to put Trump into the White House: I, sir, count myself as one of those people.

What is logical, sir, after 16 years on, is to have US and NATO troops leave this country as quickly as safely possible, then negotiate with whatever government is left standing in Kabul for the pipeline and mineral rights.

This could not possibly cost anywhere near as much as the current, and coming, complement of troops, on a daily basis, that the US and NATO are forking out right now for military operations.

I would like you to share your military wisdom with President Trump, about picking this country's battles more wisely than it has in the past; the current American sabre rattling against North Korea and Iran do not bode well in regard to an intelligently rational relationship with either country.

What the American people want is peace; the right and opportunity to work, and support their families; and to end these wars of conquest which are, generally, going so badly for this country.

Sec Def Mattis, you know what the right, moral thing to do here in Afghanistan should be; I am asking you, to have the moral courage to tell your Commander in Chief that this war is not winnable, without a hugely major, and quick, uptick in troop strength, which the American military, at this point in its history, cannot fulfill.

The US-Israel Special Relationship Timeline That AIPAC Doesn’t Want You To See

Summer 1954– Lavon Affair– Israel recruits Egyptian Jews to blow up American and British targets in Egypt. Israel planned on blaming the murderous false-flag attacks on the Muslim Brotherhood in an effort to garner support from the US and Britain. After officially denying any involvement, the Israeli government finally admitted their role in the incident in 2005 by honoring the surviving agents with a certificate of appreciation.

1955-1970- Israel Steals American Uranium to Build It’s First Nuclear Weapons– In 2011, the Institute for Research on Middle Eastern Policy examined hundreds of newly de-classified documents from the FBI and CIA and discovered that Israeli spies in collaboration with American Jews stole hundreds of kilograms of weapons grade uranium from US stockpiles and shipped it to Israel. Although Israel does not officially acknowledge the possession of nuclear weapons, their nuclear arsenal is estimated at between 200-300 nuclear weapons. (Source)

6 YEARS AGO TODAY, THE US HELPED MURDER GADDAFI TO STOP THE CREATION OF GOLD-BACKED CURRENCY

Six years ago today, the West took it upon itself to use NATO to overthrow Libyan leader Muammar al-Gaddafi — not for any humanitarian threat to civilians as had been repeatedly claimed — but because his planned roll-out of a new currency to be used across Africa posed a palpable existential threat to central banks at the heart of the Western financial and political system.

Long theorized to be the actual vehicle for Gaddafi’s downfall, the gold dinar-based, pan-African currency motive came to light in nascent 2016 in one of more than 3,000 of Hillary Clinton’s emails released by the State Department — conveniently timed with the New Year’s holiday to abate outrage or repercussions.

Webmaster's Commentary:

"We Came, We Saw, He Died!!" Thus cackled Clinton upon hearing of Ghadaffi's execution.

And we can see just how stabizing THAT was for Lybia, now factionalized in a bloody civil war, which is tearing the country apart, 6 years on.

Tarred and feathered, lynched in the street and locked up in internment camps: The tragic plight of Germans in AMERICA during the First World War

A fascinating collection of photos have resurfaced showing the hardships faced by German-Americans at the brutal height of the First World War.

As Europe was ravaged by fighting, German immigrants in the US suffered harassment, internment, lynchings - and even the humiliation of being tarred and feathered.

Although a little-remembered part of history today, America was wracked by the fear and paranoia that swept from coast to coast during the Great War.

The United States declared war on Germany in April 1917 and helped lead the Allies to victory. But before that, many Americans were terrified of the German threat growing on the other side of the world.

This collection of pictures reveals the full extent of war hysteria and open hostility towards all things German that erupted across the nation.

The Big Hollywood Lie: Denying that Jews Control the Film Business

... The Jewish denial that Hollywood is controlled by Jews is a great lie which can be attested to by anyone who has ever been associated with the film industry ... It is positively insulting for them to deny their influence and power -- particularly when they themselves are continually boasting in their own circles about their "overrepresentation" in these fields. And it is absolutely infuriating when this denial reaches the point that non-Jews are attacked by Jewish agitators and Zionist zealots for stating obvious facts and truth.

WHY FRIDAY THE 13TH BECAME UNLUCKY – LEST WE FORGET (with related hilarious nsfw video)

...It was generally agreed that the charges were false, but...King Philip, who was already deeply in debt to the Templars from his war with the English, decided to seize upon the rumours ...as a way of freeing himself from his debts. At dawn on Friday, 13 October 1307 ...King Philip IV ordered de Molay and scores of other French Templars to be simultaneously arrested....Claims were made that... Templar ...recruits were forced to spit on the Cross, deny Christ, and engage in indecent kissing ...the order was said to have encouraged homosexual practices. The Templars were charged with numerous other offences such as financial corruption, fraud, and secrecy.

Some speculations regarding the accusations of homosexuality in addition to heresy: this was no doubt to seal their fate, since EVERY Catholic Priest knows intimately just how wrong these are...

To which this is the appropriate reponse, for the role the Church had in the murder of the Templars:

On September 30th, 1965, the Indonesian military, obeying orders from foreign powers (mainly the US and the UK), overthrew the progressive and anti-imperialist government of President Sukarno, murdering between 1 and 3 million men, women and children (including almost all members of the Communist Party of Indonesia – PKI). This was done with the direct help of almost all the major religious organizations (Muslim, Protestant, Catholic and Hindu). The bloodshed continued well into 1966, and the “Rivers were choked with corpses and ran red from blood,” as I was told by Pramoedya Ananta Toer, the greatest Indonesian novelist. All the hopes for a socialist, just and egalitarian motherland were wasted.

Harvey Weinstein, Fox News, and the Power of Self-Interest

Many victims might have been able to expose him, but ambition held them back.

turns out that basically everyone in Hollywood knew that Harvey Weinstein sexually harasses women, abuses his employees, and has a violent streak. It was one of those things we call an “open secret,” a secret perhaps even more open than the persistent rumors about Roger Ailes’s or Bill O’Reilly’s toxic misconduct at Fox News.

Yet Weinstein continued to enjoy the staggering perks and privileges of a successful movie mogul. The most powerful politicians sought his favor. The best actors wanted to work in his films. He was feted around the world as the man who could bring home Oscar gold. And all the while, he wasn’t just a progressive in good standing, he was actively celebrated for his alleged commitment to social justice.

The Man Who Changed Everything

In 1913, Woodrow Wilson laid the foundation for the tyranny we are experiencing America today. He revealed his political agenda when he stated that he wanted to make the world "safe of democracy."

With Wilson's support and the treasonous actions of a handful of Senators, the Federal Reserve Act was unconstitutionally passed on Dec. 23rd, 1913. This unlawfully shifted the delegated powers of Article I, Section 8, Clause 5; "To coin Money" and "regulate the Value thereof", to a privately owned banking corporation. This Act was unconstitutional from its inception.

Another treasonous act was the fraudulent ratification of the
16th Amendment on Feb. 3rd, 1913.

When the Government Declared War on the First Amendment

It all started with President Woodrow Wilson. On April 2, 1917, Wilson urged the nation into battle against Germany in order to "make the world safe for democracy." But the president also set his sights on certain enemies located much closer to home. "Millions of men and women of German birth and native sympathy...live among us," Wilson observed. "If there should be disloyalty, it will be dealt with with a firm hand of repression."

That firm hand came in the form of the Espionage Act, which Congress passed in June 1917 and Wilson eagerly signed into law. Among other things, the act made it illegal to "convey information with intent to interfere with the operation or success of the armed forces of the United States or to promote the success of its enemies." That sweeping language effectively criminalized most forms of anti-war speech. If convicted of obstructing the war effort, the guilty party faced up to $10,000 in fines and up to 20 years in prison.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Should America be going to war with any of its "enemies du jour" in the 21st century, look for even more draconian repressions on freedom of speech, and the outright criminalisation of the right to speak logically and peacefully about Federal governmental decisions with which you may not agree.

AMERICA: THE DICTATRESS OF THE WORLD

On July 21, 1821, John Quincy Adams, who would go on to become the sixth president of the United States, warned that if America were ever to abandon its founding principle of non-interventionism in foreign affairs, she might well become the dictatress of the world.

Adams issued his warning in a speech he delivered to Congress, a speech that has gone down in history with the title “In Search of Monsters to Destroy.”

Adams was referring to the fact that the United States was founded as a constitutional republic, one whose military forces did not go around the world helping people who were suffering the horrors of dictators, despots, civil wars, revolutions, famines, oppression, or anything else. That’s not to say that America didn’t sympathize with people struggling to experience lives of freedom, peace, and prosperity. It was simply that the U.S. government would not go abroad to slay such monsters.
Here is how Adams expressed it:>>>

When the Constitution called the federal government into existence, the last thing the American people wanted was a powerful military. They were overwhelmingly opposed to what they called “standing armies,” which was a term used describe a big, permanent military establishment. That was why there was Pentagon, no big, permanent military-industrial complex, no CIA, and no NSA for more than 100 years after the country was established. The American people didn’t want those types of governmental apparatuses to be part of our nation’s political system.

The reason Americans were so opposed to standing armies is because they believed that standing armies constituted a grave threat to their freedom and economic well-being. They knew, from both first-hand experience and through history, that dictators and despots used powerful military establishments to destroy the freedom and prosperity of the citizenry, oftentimes in the name of keeping them safe, secure, and prosperous.

Here’s What Many White Christians Fail To Understand About The NFL Protests

When Tim Tebow knelt on the sidelines of a football game in a defiant and public act of faith during his years as an N.F.L. quarterback, he was adored as a darling of the American church. When Colin Kaepernick knelt before games in protest of police brutality, he received death threats, was called a “traitor” and eventually, left unsigned by the NFL.
Kaepernick is a devout Christian whose faith has turned him into an activist. Eric Reid, Kaepernick’s former teammate on the San Francisco 49ers, recently wrote an op-ed in The New York Times describing the moment that he decided to join Kaepernick’s protest last year. Reid claims it was his Christianity that moved him to take the knee.

Ex-spy scurries to cast doubt on CSIS-ISIS link

Ray Boisvert, a former assistant director of the Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS), has been busy trying to deflect blame from his former employer in the developing scandal involving an alleged CSIS asset who helped three British schoolgirls and others join ISIS.

Boisvert’s impetus is to shield CSIS and the Canadian state when their hand is exposed in duplicitous activity at home and abroad. He has frequently appeared as a pundit on mainstream media programs, and unsurprisingly was trotted out by the usual suspects to comment on revelations that a Syrian national who spied for CSIS was acting as a liaison for ISIS, helping Westerners travel through Turkey to join the militant group in Syria.

Fans vs. Player Safety: The NFL's Concussion Dilemma

***
In 1994, the National Football League created a committee responsible for overseeing brain injuries to its players after a series of permanent and near-fatal neurological issues to former players. The NFL named Dr. Elliot Pellman, a doctor without any brain-injury experience, the head of its newly-formed Mild Traumatic Brain Injury Committee. Thirteen years later, Pellman stepped down after his highly criticized finding that returning to play after sustaining a concussion did “not involve significant risk of a second injury either in the same game or in the same season.“

Unlike other cases that have centered only on football leagues, the complaint also accuses USA Football, the youth football arm of the N.F.L., and the group that creates football helmet safety standards, of failing to protect young players from the dangers of brain trauma and the long-term consequences of repeated head hits, and ignoring medical research that underscores the dangers of playing football.

The Evil Alexander Hamilton… And how he ruined America.

One thing can be said for American nationalism. It has led to every major war, every bad policy, every bit of government corruption at the federal level, and every political conflict in American history. Americans don’t like top-down government unless they control the levers of power. The only solution is to rebuke Hamiltonian nationalism and return to the Jeffersonian vision of federalism and limited central power. There would be fewer wars, less political conflict, and a happier and more prosperous people.

flashback:12/18/2016: THE ODDS OF LEGALIZED SPORTS BETTING IN DONALD TRUMP'S AMERICA

***
The four major professional sports leagues – the NFL, NBA, Major League Baseball and the NHL – along with the behemoth NCAA, have been the biggest obstacles to sports betting expansion, all often working in concert to wield PASPA as the weapon against such expansion. As Wallach smartly points out, though, the law itself notes that a sports organization can only seek injunctive relief for PASPA violations when that specific organization’s games are the basis of the violation.

In other words, the NFL does not have standing under PASPA to say, “Hey, New Jersey can’t bet on the NBA.” That’s up to the discretion of the NBA, though again, so far, the major sports organizations have played ball together to stifle legalized sports betting –>>>

Einstein's Warning of Israeli Terrorists

Albert Einstein wrote a letter to the New York Times when the Israeli terrorist Menachem Begin visited the United States in December 1948. Begin's party of terrorists controls Israel to this day, which makes Einstein's warning relevant to our political predicament today.

Einstein's letter was written to warn the people of the United States to prevent them from supporting a party of terrorists, saying, “the American public must be informed as to the record and objectives of Mr. Begin and his movement….It is in its actions that the terrorist party betrays its real character; from its past actions we can judge what it may be expected to do in the future.”

Einstein's warning went unheeded. 9/11 and the War on Terror are the bitter fruits we have received from having ignored Einstein's sage advice.

U.S. CONDUCTS FIRST AIRSTRIKE IN LIBYA UNDER TRUMP ADMINISTRATION

On 22 September, the US conducted an airstrike on an ISIS camp in the desert valleys about 150 miles south-east of Sirte, reportedly killing 17 ISIS fighters and destroying 3 vehicles. US Africa Command (Africom) said the strikes were carried out by armed Reaper drones flying from a base in Sicily. Reda Eissa, a spokesman for the Government of National Accord’s (GNA) Misrata-led al-Bunyan al-Marsus (BM) coalition said he had no information about the airstrikes. Interestingly, the Libyan National Army (LNA) also said that it conducted airstrikes against ISIS targets near Sadada, west of Sirte, on the same day.

Microwave auditory effect

The microwave auditory effect, also known as the microwave hearing effect or the Frey effect, consists of audible clicks (or, with speech modulation, spoken words) induced by pulsed/modulated microwave frequencies. The clicks are generated directly inside the human head without the need of any receiving electronic device. The effect was first reported by persons working in the vicinity of radar transponders during World War II. During the Cold War era, the American neuroscientist Allan H. Frey studied this phenomenon and was the first to publish[1] information on the nature of the microwave auditory effect.

Weeks Before His Assassination, JFK Ordered Full Withdrawal from Vietnam

The idea that Kennedy would push for an end to the United States’ corrupt and troubled involvement in Vietnam is not surprising, considering his ongoing war with the Central Intelligence Agency. However, the fact that Kennedy was pushing for full withdrawal from Vietnam just weeks before he was assassinated, should be noted and remembered. Less than one year later, the Gulf of Tonkin incident served as the perfect false flag to send the U.S. into a war that killed over 58,000 Americans.

Donald Trump fought the NFL once before

This isn't the first time Trump has picked a fight with the NFL. And last time around, he lost spectacularly.

Trump's football adventure began in 1984, when he bought the New Jersey Generals, part of the then-new United States Football League. The USFL, -+- was envisioned by founder David Dixon as a complement to the National Football League that would play in the spring, leaving fall to the NFL. For its first three years, the strategy seemed successful.

But it wasn't enough for Trump. He pushed hard to shift the USFL to a fall schedule, where the USFL - with less talent and less public awareness - would go head-to-head with the bigger league.
***
But Trump's plan was typically audacious and risky. Rather than organically grow a new league, he hoped to force an immediate merger with the NFL, which would provide huge returns for surviving USFL team owners. That goal hinged in part on an antitrust lawsuit alleging the NFL was an unlawful monopoly.

But things didn't go Trump's way>>>

The NFL: Big Business With Big Tax Breaks

If You Build It ...

Besides the tax exemption, the NFL can also get a break through big stadium deals. Take, for example, the Dallas Cowboys.

In the late 1990s, the Dallas Cowboys and the team's owner, Jerry Jones, began plans to expand their stadium or build a new one. Jones shopped in and around Dallas for years, asking for public assistance to fund the stadium.

He found an audience in Arlington, a city just outside of Dallas. The price tag for the public was $325 million. (Jones was responsible for the balance of the money for the $1.2 billion stadium. Dallas News says Jones' contribution "was paid with commercial loans, league funding and proceeds from a ticket and parking tax.")

Paid Patriotism: Six Ways The NFL Is Directly Connected To The Government

There's a reason why football is called America's pastime. Americans —if they watch the sport or not— are unconsciously paying for it. Controversy brought on by NFL star Colin Kaepernick taking a knee during the National Anthem last season, and subsequently looking for employment this season, has put the organization founded in 1920 under a microscope.

Non-Profit Status.
Believe it or not, the NFL is non-profit. The IRS expanded Section 501(c)6 of the Internal Revenue Code, which "provides for the exemption of business leagues, chambers of commerce, real estate boards, boards of trade and professional football leagues, which are not organization." As noted by The Washington Post, this exception means the NFL’s headquarters in New York led by Goodell is spared tax payments that some estimate to be $10 million annually— because the teams and not the NFL make money.

Sep 26 12:35

How the NFL Fleeces Taxpayers

Taxpayers fund the stadiums, antitrust law doesn't apply to broadcast deals, the league enjoys nonprofit status, and Commissioner Roger Goodell makes $30 million a year. It's time to stop the public giveaways to America's richest sports league—and to the feudal lords who own its teams.
Last year was a busy one for public giveaways to the National Football League. In Virginia, Republican Governor Bob McDonnell, who styles himself as a budget-slashing conservative crusader, took $4 million from taxpayers’ pockets and handed the money to the Washington Redskins, for the team to upgrade a workout facility. Hoping to avoid scrutiny, McDonnell approved the gift while the state legislature was out of session. The Redskins’ owner, Dan Snyder, has a net worth estimated by Forbes at $1 billion. But even billionaires like to receive expensive gifts.
And on and on........

NFL TEAMS STAYED IN LOCKER ROOMS FOR ANTHEM UNTIL 2009—THEN DOD BEGAN ‘PAYING FOR PATRIOTISM’

What many people are missing in this debate is the fact that prior to 2009, NFL teams did not generally stand for the anthem. While having the option to do so individually if they chose to, most of the time they stayed in the locker room during this pregame ritual.

“NFL spokesman Brian McCarthy confirmed this morning the practice began in 2009, adding, ‘As you know, the NFL has a long tradition of patriotism. Players are encouraged but not required to stand for the anthem.’”

Additionally, it has come to light that many of the “patriotic” pregame displays in the NFL are simply propaganda displays that were paid for by the U.S. Department of Defense and the National Guard – meaning that these displays were actually paid for by the American taxpayers.

Indeed, were the NFL not subject to an antitrust exemption granted to it by our compromised Congress, thanks to the sport’s lobbyists having spread “beaucoup” money all over Capitol Hill, the club of uber rich owners who make their own rules with impunity could be charged under RICO, the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, for price fixing, market division and other illegal anti-competitive acts. MSM: Trump and the National Anthem are both relics of white supremacy

So perhaps the most important conversation the nation ought to have isn’t about whether the nation has a racist past (it does), but about how we can reverse a bloody present and future for the disadvantaged people living in its poorest (and most heavily Democrat controlled) neighborhoods. THE KILLING OF HISTORY

The narrator says the war "was begun in good faith by decent people out of fateful misunderstandings, American overconfidence and Cold War misunderstandings".

The dishonesty of this statement is not surprising. The cynical fabrication of "false flags" that led to the invasion of Vietnam is a matter of record - the Gulf of Tonkin "incident" in 1964, which Burns promotes as true, was just one. The lies litter a multitude of official documents, notably the Pentagon Papers, which the great whistleblower Daniel Ellsberg released in 1971.

Push to unseal the draft Whitewater indictment against Hillary Clinton gets court date

A federal appeals court will hear a case brought by Judicial Watch on Friday to make public draft indictments of Hillary Clinton from the Whitewater scandal in the 1990s.

Judicial Watch, a conservative watchdog group that files Freedom of Information Act requests, wants copies of the documents that the National Archives and Records Administration has declined to release. a study by the Harvard Kennedy School Shorenstein Center on Media, Politics and Public Policy found that during 2015, major news outlets covered Trump “in a way that was unusual given his low initial polling numbers — a high volume of media coverage preceded Trump’s rise in the polls.”

A big chunk of this coverage, the report found, was positive in tone. Of course, that tone would drastically change as soon as Trump won the GOP nomination. It was curious happenstance, but somehow, the preponderance of ugly stories regarding his past began pouring forth only after he captured the nomination. The man didn’t change at all; the coverage did.

'They Couldn't Even Predict the USSR's Collapse': CIA's Top 5 Cold War Failures

Today marks the seventieth anniversary of the CIA, the civilian foreign intelligence service of the US government. In the post-war world, one of the CIA's main missions was to combat the threat posed by the recently victorious Soviets. However, not everything went according to plan.

In his article for RIA Novosti, veteran political observer Vladimir Ardaev recalled that in handling its main mission, the CIA proved wrong in estimating when the USSR would create its first nuclear bomb, couldn't fathom the Soviet intervention in Afghanistan, wasn’t able to find Soviet moles in their midst, had flawed ideas about the state of the Soviet defense budget, and failed to predict the collapse of the Soviet Union itself.

In Catalonia: A Spanish Tiananmen Square?

One of those crises that no one saw coming is about to rear its head in a very unlikely locale: Catalonia, Spain’s richest province, where the local government has scheduled an independence referendum on October 1.

Catalonia has long been a cash cow for the Madrid regime: the province is by far the richest in the country, and contributes much more to the national budget than it receives. With 16 percent of Spain’s population, the region produces 25 percent of the nation’s exports, hosts 23 percent of industry – and receives 11 percent of government expenditures. This essentially parasitic relationship perhaps accounts for the fierce resistance to the secession movement by the rather shaky regime of conservative Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy.

Syria’s Victory in Deir Ezzor

The Tide is Turning against the Deep State NWO.

The Syrian Arab Army have achieved yet another dramatic victory this time lifting the ISIS siege of the heroic city of Deir Ezzor. For years Deir Ezzor has been surrounded by enemies and under siege first by the FSA and Al Nusra and then by ISIS. They have withstood repeated attacks by the US-NATO air force most infamously last fall when the Americans bombed Deir Ezzor right after agreeing to a ceasefire, a treacherous move that paved the way for a nearly successful ISIS offensive to capture the city. The brave defenders of Deir Ezzor withstood these endless attacks becoming a symbol of the heroic resistance of all of Syria. For years Syrians and their friends around the world have dreamed that one day this siege would be lifted. Our dreams have finally come true and faster then anyone could have imagined.
