Ron Paul: "Who Killed Martin Luther King... And Why?"

Martin Luther King, Jr.'s own closest advisors begged him to avoid focusing on the Vietnam war.

It will alienate President Johnson, who is doing so much for the civil rights movement at home, they argued.

As Ron Paul and Daniel McAdams discuss below, MLK ignored his advisors, vocally opposed the war, and found much of the liberal establishment had turned on him (having applauded his work on civil rights in the US).

FLASHBACK - Martin Luther King Assassination Conspiracy Trial

After four weeks of testimony and over 70 witnesses in a civil trial in Memphis, Tennessee, twelve jurors reached a unanimous verdict on December 8, 1999 after about an hour of deliberations that Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was assassinated as a result of a conspiracy. In a press statement held the following day in Atlanta, Mrs. Coretta Scott King welcomed the verdict, saying , “There is abundant evidence of a major high level conspiracy in the assassination of my husband, Martin Luther King, Jr. And the civil court's unanimous verdict has validated our belief. I wholeheartedly applaud the verdict of the jury and I feel that justice has been well served in their deliberations.

IN HONOR OF MLK DAY, LET'S REMEMBER THE LETTER SENT TO HIM BY THE FBI SUGGESTING THAT HE KILL HIMSELF OR THEY WOULD ENSNARE HIM IN A BLACKMAIL SCANDAL.

Should intelligence agencies be able to sweep our email, read our texts, track our phone calls, locate us by GPS? Much of the conversation swirls around the possibility that agencies like the N.S.A. or the F.B.I. will use such information not to serve national security but to carry out personal and political vendettas. King’s experience reminds us that these are far from idle fears, conjured in the fevered minds of civil libertarians. They are based in the hard facts of history.

Top 10 FBI Fails

Sometime in 2011, businessman Brooks Kellogg paid an undercover FBI agent posing as an assassin $2,000 to kill a former business associate. The undercover agent was bugged with a secret camera that was supposed to record the meeting. However, things went awry when prosecutors realized that the camera didn’t record anything useful, since the men didn’t sit facing each other. As if that wasn’t enough, the audio didn’t record their conversation.[1]

Kellogg could have gotten away due to the lack of incriminating evidence, but he was finally sentenced to six years in prison and ordered to pay a $100,000 fine. Kellogg’s case was hardly the first time the Federal Bureau of Investigation botched an operation or did something ridiculous. Here are ten times the FBI failed badly.

Webmaster's Commentary:

GREAT MOMENTS IN THE HISTORY OF THE FBI.

"[Your information is] too precise, too complete to be believed. The questionnaire plus the other information you brought spell out in detail exactly where, when, how, and by whom we are to be attacked. If anything, it sounds like a trap."

FBI response to the top British spy, Dusan Popov (code named "Tricycle") on August 10, 1941, dismissing Popov's report of the complete Japanese plan for the attack on Pearl Harbor.

GREAT MOMENTS IN THE HISTORY OF THE FBI PART 2.

In 1964, accusations that the song "Louie Louie" as recorded by The Kingstons contained obscene lyrics led to a two year FBI effort to analyze the recording to determine what was actually being sung ... before someone mentioned that the lyrics were on file at the US Copyright office.

Dem Rep Gabbard: American Foreign Policy Led to North Korea Developing Nuclear Weapons

Sunday on ABC’s “This Week,” Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) said American foreign policy of “regime change” had led to North Korea developing nuclear weapons.

Partial transcript as follows:

STEPHANOPOULOS: Well, and that leads to the question now, what should be done about it. Do you believe that President Trump should be speaking directly to the leader of North Korea?

GABBARD: Absolutely and immediately. This is something that I’ve been calling for for a long time.>>>

Dem Support For Trump Surveillance Powers Proves “Resistance” Is Bull*hit

This author I think has got it right. We are being played with a big psyop!
By Caitlin Johnstone

January 13, 2017 "Information Clearing House" - The so-called “Resistance”, the think tank-generated campaign to continue the authentic grassroots energy from the Bernie Sanders campaign and artificially harness it to oppose Donald Trump, is bullshit. It always has been bullshit. It always will be bullshit.
The leaders of the “Resistance” do not oppose Donald Trump. They are Donald Trump dressed in drag.

This is a continuation of a standard trend in which “Resistance” leaders publicly claim that Trump is a traitor, an aspiring autocrat, a secret Nazi, dangerously incompetent and mentally ill, yet continue heaping godlike powers upon him anyway, like when they let the continued authorization of his unconstitutional AUMF war powers sail through unnoticed a few months ago. Their words say one thing, their actions say another.

How Will President Trump Deal With A Rogue California Government Making the State a Third World S-hole?

The state of California government has gone rogue and out of control. What happens in California can have some major ramifications nationwide if something is not done to put the state government in check. The state Legislator has passed laws that go far beyond infringing on people’s personal liberties. What is going on in the state is a major train wreck getting ready to happen that could have been preventable.

Paul Craig Roberts: Another Step Toward Armageddon

The US military/security complex has taken another step toward Armageddon. The Pentagon has prepared a nuclear posture review (NPR) that gives the OK to development of smaller “useable” nuclear weapons and permits their use in response to a non-nuclear attack.

As Reagan and Gorbachev understood, but the warmongers who have taken over America do not, there are far too many nuclear weapons already. Some scientists have concluded that even the use of 10 percent of either the US or Russian arsenal would suffice to destroy life on earth.

It is reckless and irresponsible for Washington to make such a decision in the wake of years of aggressive actions taken against Russia.>>>

A Brief History of Political Profanity

Lyndon B. Johnson had a famously dirty mouth. He chided Canada's Lester Pearson for his anti-Vietnam stance by saying, "You pissed on my rug," and once likened the difference between a Senator and a Representative to "the difference between chicken salad and chicken s___." He even considered removing J. Edgar Hoover as FBI chief but changed his mind, reasoning that "it's probably better to have him inside the tent pissing out, than outside pissing in."

Yet despite Johnson's many outbursts, Richard Nixon holds the unofficial record for being the most openly profane U.S. President — probably because he recorded much of what he said in the Oval Office. In a taped 1971 conversation between the President and two of his aides, Nixon called Mexicans "dishonest," said that blacks lived "like a bunch of dogs" and that San Francisco was full of "fags" and "decorators." And that was just one conversation.

Nevada Bundy Prosecution Collapses: The Federal Government Spent a Quarter-Billion Dollars but Couldn’t Convict the Bundys of a Single Crime

In 2013 the federal Bureau of Land Management (BLM) obtained federal court orders authorizing the agency to “seize and remove to impound” hundreds of Cliven Bundy’s cattle on the public ranges around Bunkerville, Nevada. The agency interpreted these court orders broadly, and descended on the area in April 2014 with some 200 body-armor-wearing agents, semiautomatic weapons, sniper teams, undercover informants, and surveillance cameras aimed at the Bundy residence.

F-word rows and bitter disputes over Russia, Iran and Syria: New documentary to lay bare the truth about the Obama White House's last days

Chaos, running rows and f-word confrontations over foreign policy are revealed in a new fly-on-the-wall documentary about the last days of the Obama White House.

Senior officials give the film unvarnished accounts of a 'whole drama' over how Syria was dealt with – and how there was nothing to force the Iranians to abide by their terms of the deal supposed to stop them from getting nuclear weapons.

In 'The Final Year' Ben Rhodes, Obama's deputy national security adviser for strategic communications, also says that it took 'too long' to get the measure of Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The 'Kosher Nostra Scam' On The American Consumer

Another shocker was learning who is actually behind these sophisticated "Kosher Nostra Scams." It turns out that the perpetrators of these elaborate extortion schemes are actually Rabbinical Councils that are set up, not just in the U.S. but in other western countries as well. For example, the largest payola operation in the U.S. is run by those who license the (U) symbol. The (U) symbol provides protection for many products sold here in Aztlan and in the United States. This symbol is managed by the The Union of Orthodox Jewish Congregations with headquarters at 333 Seventh Avenue in New York City.

And so have those billionaire’s profits. It’s time we took a closer look at where we stand as of 2018, if we are to be left anything at all to cling to. From the steppes of Russia to the ancient lands of the Minoans, economic terror now reigns.

RUBBISH! Portland's top brass said it was OK to swipe your garbage--so we grabbed theirs.

After much debate, we resolved to turn the tables on three of our esteemed public officials. We embarked on an unauthorized sightseeing tour of their garbage, to make a point about how invasive a "garbage pull" really is--and to highlight the government's ongoing erosion of people's privacy. We chose District Attorney Mike Schrunk because his office is the most vocal defender of the proposition that your garbage is up for grabs. We chose Police Chief Mark Kroeker because he runs the bureau. And we chose Mayor Vera Katz because, as police commissioner, she gives the chief his marching orders. Each, in his or her own way, has endorsed the notion that you abandon your privacy when you set your trash out on the curb. So we figured they wouldn't mind too much if we took a peek at theirs. Boy, were we wrong. [This is from 2002, but a classic.]

US ends ban on 'domestic propaganda'

It’s being branded by proponents as an attempt at transparency, but critics of a new law say the United States government just got the green-light to use propaganda made for foreign audiences on the American public

Until earlier this month, a longstanding federal law made it illegal for the US Department of State to share domestically the internally-authored news stories sent to American-operated outlets broadcasting around the globe. All of that changed effective July 2, when the Broadcasting Board of Governors (BBG) was given permission to let US households tune-in to hear the type of programming that has previously only been allowed in outside nations.

A federal judge Monday threw out criminal charges against Nevada cattleman Cliven Bundy, his two sons and a co-defendant in the 2014 Bunkerville standoff, citing "flagrant misconduct" by prosecutors and the FBI in not disclosing evidence to the defense before and during trial.

"The government's conduct in this case was indeed outrageous," U.S. District Judge Gloria M. Navarro ruled. "There has been flagrant misconduct, substantial prejudice and no lesser remedy is sufficient."

Kushner’s Financial Ties to Israel Deepen Even With Mideast Diplomatic Role

Last May, Jared Kushner accompanied President Trump, his father-in-law, on the pair’s first diplomatic trip to Israel, part of Mr. Kushner’s White House assignment to achieve peace in the Middle East. Shortly before, his family real estate company received a roughly $30 million investment from Menora Mivtachim, an insurer that is one of Israel’s largest financial institutions, according to a Menora executive. The deal, which was not made public, pumped significant new equity into 10 Maryland apartment complexes controlled by Mr. Kushner’s firm. While Mr. Kushner has sold parts of his business since taking a White House job last year, he still has stakes in most of the family empire — including the apartment buildings in and around Baltimore. The Menora transaction is the latest financial arrangement that has surfaced between Mr.

Private prison industry sees boon under Trump administration

Sessions war on Cannabis is nothing more than a payoff for the $500,00 these 2 private prison gave to the Trump campaign.

When it comes to private prisons in the US, the two biggest names are CoreCivic — the new name for the Corrections Corporation of America — and GEO Group. Management & Training Corporation, another company with prison operations, is not publicly traded.

Both companies welcomed the Trump era with large donations.

In January, GEO Group’s Pablo Paez, the company’s vice president of corporate relations, told USA Today it donated $250,000 to Trump’s inaugural committee. OpenSecrets’ list of inauguration donors noted the GEO Group donation, as well as CoreCivic’s $250,000 contribution.

The month before the election, GEO Group hired two former Sessions aides as lobbyists: David Stewart and Ryan Robichaux, according to Politico.

Follow the Money: Former Sessions Aides are Lobbyists for Private Prisons Group

For activists working on reducing mass incarceration as a cornerstone of criminal justice reform, the future looks more than a little daunting.

On Friday, NPQ wrote about the new memo from Attorney General Jeff Sessions that brought private prisons back into play on the federal level. We pointed out that stocks for private prisons plummeted when then-Deputy Attorney General Sally Yates ordered they be phased out last year. We reminded you that the day after Trump’s election, those stocks soared. Now, we read in The Nation that in October, just before the election, two of Sessions’ former Senate aides, David Stewart and Ryan Robichaux, became lobbyists for GEO Group, one of the two largest private prison companies, and that the two were specifically engaged to lobby on government contracting.

Trump Must School Sessions on Medical Marijuana. NOW.

School him! Good luck. ThaT man is pathological when it comes to Cannabis!

When it comes to lower-profile yet critically important issues such as medical marijuana, President Trump’s own Justice Department has been actively undermining candidate Trump’s numerous, clear promises to respect the right of states to pass laws that allow for it.

This is important.

Candidate Trump was always very clear in his many promises on medical marijuana. In October of 2015, Trump said at a rally in Nevada “the marijuana thing is such a big thing. I think medical should happen” and then on a Michigan radio station in March of 2016 he said “I think that it should be up to the states.” Trump even went on Fox News during the campaign and said of medical marijuana “I’m in favor of it a hundred percent.” Trump’s support for medical marijuana was unequivocal and considered to be a solemn promise to the voters who put him in office.

Dealing With North Korea

If I were President of the United States, this is how I would deal with Kim Jong-un and the North Korean situation.

He notes the demise of Saddam Hussain of Iraq, another country that got on the wrong side of our imperialist nation; a similar dismal end befell him, too. How Donald Trump Learned to Love War in 2017

The president promised to deliver peace. But in his first year, he expanded every war he inherited.

President Trump has maintained or expanded the wars that he inherited from his predecessor.

As Jennifer Wilson and I pointed out in an appropriately titled column in August, “Donald Trump Is Dropping Bombs at Unprecedented Levels.” Within eight months of assuming office, Trump — with the announcement of six “precision aistrikes” in Libya — had bombed every country that former President Barack Obama had in eight years. One month after that, the United States surpassed the 26,172 bombs that had been dropped in 2016. Through the end of December 2017, Trump had authorized more airstrikes in Somalia in one year (33), than George W. Bush and Obama had since the United States first began intervening there in early 2007 (30).

Putin Foresaw Death of US Global Power

Like a good wine, Russian President Vladimir Putin’s famous speech delivered in Munich 10 years ago regarding global security has been rewarded with time. A decade on, the many facets contained in that address have only become all the more enhanced and tangible.

Speaking to a senior international audience at the annual Munich Security Conference, on February 10, 2007, the Russian leader opened by saying he was going to speak about world relations forthrightly and not in “empty diplomatic terms”. In what followed, Putin did not disappoint. With candor and incisiveness, he completely leveled the arrogance of American unilateral power.

He condemned the “aspirations of world supremacy” as a danger to global security. “We are seeing a greater and greater disdain for the basic principles of international law,” adding at a later point: “One state and, of course, first and foremost the United States, has overstepped its national borders in every way.”

But, moreover, Putin presciently predicted that the American arrogance of unipolar dominance would in the end lead to the demise of the power from seeking such supremacy.

A unipolar world, he said, is “a world in which there is one master, one sovereign. And at the end of the day this is pernicious not only for all those within this system, but also for the sovereign itself because it destroys itself from within.”

Ten years on from that call, few can doubt that the global standing of the United States has indeed spectacularly fallen –>>>

MILITARY AND POLITICAL TRENDS OF 2017 THAT WILL SHAPE 2018

2017 presented the world with a number of crises, among which were the continued wars in the Middle Ease and the spread of terrorism, the humanitarian crises in Africa and Asia, the rising military tensions over North Korea’s missile and nuclear programs, and the militarization of both the South China Sea and eastern Europe. Throughout the past year regional and global powers have repeatedly been on the verge of open military conflict, any of which may yet still lead to large regional wars.

In the Middle East the war on ISIS, the Iran nuclear deal, the crisis in Lebanon, and Israeli-Arab tensions took center stage.

If You’re Wondering Why US, Israel and Saudi Arabia Cooperate Against Iran, Here’s the Answer

Long before this deal, the US and Israel had already established multiple organizations and teams of both US and Israeli spy agencies charged with targeting different aspects of Iran, from its civilian nuclear program (by assassinating its nuclear scientists and sabotage) to its defensive missile systems (by creating media hue and cry in the West and the United Nations).

Nor is that all. The US and Israeli regimes have been hopelessly trying to confront with Iran, potentially military confrontation, for many decades. This includes from backing Iraq’s dictator Saddam in his 8-year war in the 1980s to shooting down Iranian passenger planes over the Persian Gulf, targeting its oil tanks, imposing illegal sanctions and restrictions on Iranian people and government, supporting anti-Iran terror groups like MKO, ISIL and Al-Qaeda, and most recently targeting Iran’s allies in the region (Iraq, Syria and Yemen) through regime-change campaigns and via terror proxy groups, and of course doing everything they can to derail the 2015 nuclear deal signed between Iran and the P5+1 (US, UK, France, Russia, China, plus Germany).

So, it should be clear by now how the new “secret deal” won’t change any hostile US or Israeli policy towards Iran. In the near-term President Trump seems to be set with trying to sabotage the P5+1 nuclear deal, and Israel is perpetually beating the war drums on Iran, and indeed any other Shi’ites they come upon, so they have limited options for anything else they can do. Much of the focus is likely to be on planning and making joint speeches about how “aggressive” Iran is being, and how super ready for war the US and Israel are, though naturally there is always a risk that any such joint operations grow from another layer of desperation into launching a war outright.

In other words, the new deal to confront Iran isn’t something new –>>>

Spyros Louis, the first marathon race winner of the Modern Olympic Games, 1896

When the modern Olympics began in 1896, the initiators and organizers were looking for a great popularizing event, recalling the ancient glory of Greece. The idea of a marathon race was conceived by Michel Bréal based on the legend of Pheidippides. This Athenian soldier first completed a two-day run to seek Spartan help against the invading Persians in the Battle of Marathon, and then ran from the town of Marathon to Athens days later to announce the victory, dying as a result of his heroic efforts.

MI5 ‘asked paramilitary group to assassinate Irish prime minister’, newly disclosed documents reveal

A protestant paramilitary group wrote to former Irish Prime Minister Charles Haughey to warn him that MI5 had asked them to assassinate him, according to newly disclosed documents. The Ulster Volunteer Force – a loyalist group classified as a terrorist organisation by the UK – contacted Haughey during his third term as Taoiseach in 1987, claiming that two years earlier, an MI5 agent had provided information about his home, his cars and the yacht he used to reach his private island, and encouraged them to assassinate him.

A Lithuanian book smuggler, 19th century

After the Polish-Lithuanian insurrection of 1863, the Russian Imperial government intensified its efforts to Russify the Lithuanian population and alienate it from its historic roots, including the Roman Catholic faith, which had become widespread during the years of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. During the summer of 1863 Tsar Alexander II issued Temporary Rules for State Junior Schools of the Northwestern Krai, ruling that only Russian-language education would be allowed there. Therefore, the use of the Latin alphabet for the Lithuanian-language was totally banned.

Loading passengers onto an airship from a mooring mast, 1930s

In the 1920s and 1930s airship mooring masts were built in many countries. A mooring mast is a mast or tower that contains a fitting on its top that allows for the bow of the airship to attach its mooring line to the structure. When it is not necessary or convenient to put an airship into its hangar (or shed) between flights, airships can be moored to a mooring mast. After their development mooring masts became the standard approach to mooring airships as considerable manhandling was avoided.

First flight with the Wright Brothers, 1902-1909

On December 17, 1903, Orville Wright piloted the first powered airplane 20 feet above a wind-swept beach in North Carolina. The flight lasted 12 seconds and covered 120 feet. Three more flights were made that day with Orville’s brother Wilbur piloting the record flight lasting 59 seconds over a distance of 852 feet. The Wright brothers documented much of their early progress in photographs made on glass negatives. The Library of Congress holds many of these historic images, some of which are presented below.

Where Was Oswald During the Assassination? Not where the Warren Commission said…

Lee Harvey Oswald was almost certainly not the 6th floor shooter but he may well have been a “patsy” (as he claimed) and framed for involvement in the events of November 22, 1963. What that precise involvement was still remains unresolved.

The Lincoln Putsch: America's Bolshevik Revolution

Union General Franz Sigel had been a leader in the communist Revolution of 1848, a revolution fought to destroy the individual state governments of Germany, and forciby unite them under an all-powerful central, socialist government. Thanks to some inept leadership, part of it provided by the young Sigel, that revolution failed and Sigel, along with thousands of other "forty-eighters," fled Europe for America, bringing their revolutionary socialist ideas with them.

Carl Shurz was another forty-eighter, who had met Karl Marx at the Democratic Club in Cologne. Schurz later went on to deliver the votes of 300,000 German immigrants to Lincoln in 1860. He was rewarded with an appointment as ambassador to Spain.

Lincoln: America's Highjacker

Notice the sides of Lincoln’s throne, above? Those bundles of sticks are an ancient Roman contrivance called a fasces, from which we get the word fascism.

Lincoln is still a much-revered figure to millions of ignorant Americans who were programmed in government schools. But an exciting new trend has begun: more Americans are learning that, like Russians and Chinese, we were lied to in school. The most destructive fraud promulgated by American schools is that Abraham Lincoln was a great president. In truth, as you’ll learn here, Lincoln was the most monstrous, ruthless, destructive president in our history.

Americans are completely ignorant of the affinity that Abraham Lincoln had for Karl Marx and his Communist system. As Americans banish the Confederate flag, those who think Lincoln was a hero are as ignorant of our history as the average Russian citizen is, of his.

What files? Thousands of govt papers on Falklands & Troubles vanish from National Archives

A massive trove of government papers detailing some dark episodes of British history, including the Falklands War and the notorious Northern Irish Troubles, have vanished from the National Archives.

Almost 1,000 files, each thought to contain dozens of British government papers, have disappeared from the National Archives in London after civil servants removed them from the institution, a Guardian investigation has revealed.

By odd coincidence, the disappearance affects some of the most controversial parts of 20th-century British history, namely papers concerning the Falklands War, Northern Ireland’s Troubles and British colonial rule in Palestine.

BIDEN TOLD EX-UKRAINE PRESIDENT YANUKOVICH TO RESIGN, FORMER VP REVEALS IN MEMOIRS

Joe Biden bluntly demanded that former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovich resign back in 2014, the former US vice president revealed. He also confirmed the US was deeply involved in Kiev’s affairs during that year’s crisis.

From the very beginning of the Ukrainian crisis, the US sought to direct Yanukovich in his handling of the riots on Maidan Square that eventually led to a coup in Ukraine, Biden says in his new book titled “Promise Me, Dad: A Year of Hope, Hardship And Purpose,” which was published in November, but has now been brought into the media spotlight in connection with the US’s role in the crisis. Biden reveals that he repeatedly called the then-Ukrainian president, telling him what he should or should not do.

GAS WAR - EASTERN MEDITERRANEAN MAY BE SCENE OF FIRST CONFLICT OF 2018

The eastern Mediterranean is expected to witness the first conflict of 2018, as developments at the end of 2017 are signaling worsening relationships between Turkey and the Greek Cypriot-Greece-Israel-Egypt bloc. Territorial disputes over natural gas and newly discovered hydrocarbon reserves in the eastern Mediterranean basin are the reason.

Up until a few years ago, the hope was that these hydrocarbon reserves would offer a real opportunity for a peaceful settlement of the Cyprus conflict. But these optimistic hopes vanished with both Turks and Greek Cypriots unilaterally speeding up exploration and drilling operations.

In 2004, the European Union had declared the Greek Cypriots the sole entity representing the island of Cyprus and accepted it as an EU member. Feeling that its hand has been strengthened following the EU decision, the Greek Cypriots claimed the right of natural resources exploration in the Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) around Cyprus.

John F. Kennedy in pictures, 1938-1963

John F. Kennedy was born into a rich, politically connected Boston family of Irish-Catholics. He and his eight siblings enjoyed a privileged childhood of elite private schools, sailboats, servants, and summer homes. During his childhood and youth, “Jack” Kennedy suffered frequent serious illnesses. Nevertheless, he strove to make his own way, writing a best-selling book while still in college at Harvard and volunteering for hazardous combat duty in the Pacific during World War II. Kennedy’s wartime service made him a hero. After a short stint as a journalist, Kennedy entered politics, serving in the U.S. House of Representatives from 1947 to 1953 and the U.S. Senate from 1953 to 1961............

“Jerusalem is our capital and nothing will change that. We will attend every event in Palestine despite Trump. Palestinian Muslims will participate with Christians in this event.” ...At the Jacir Palace Hotel, near Rachel’s Tomb, occupancy was said to be at 35%, compared to a hundred percent last year. The hotel had to close for five days because of the clashes and reopened a week ago. A staffer said that soldiers sprayed the hotel with a stinking chemical spray that smells like sewage. An IDF spokeswoman said she was checking if soldiers had used such a spray in the clashes around the tomb.

Avnery: Israel the Bully

***
In 1936, the Arab population of Palestine launched a violent uprising. The Nazi persecution in Germany drove many Jews to Palestine (including my own family), and the local Arabs saw their country slipping away from under their feet. They started to react violently. They called it the Great Rebellion, the British talked of "disturbances" and we called it "the events".

Groups of young Arabs attacked Jewish and British vehicles on the roads. When caught, some of them were sent by the British courts to the gallows. When the Arab attacks did not stop, some right-wing Zionists started a campaign of "retaliation" and shot at Arab vehicles.

Last week something horrible happened. Since the announcement of the American Clown-In-Chief about Jerusalem, there have been daily demonstrations in the West Bank and the Gaza Strip. The Palestinians in the Gaza Strip approach the separation fence and throw stones at the soldiers on the Israeli side. The soldiers are instructed to shoot. Every day Palestinians are wounded, every few days Palestinians are killed.
