The Hillary Doctrine: Create Instability, Wing it, Then Refuse to 'Retreat'

In her opening statement to the Benghazi Select Committee this morning, former Secretary of State and current Democratic Party 2016 presidential frontrunner Hillary Clinton continued to justify the United States' 2011 intervention in Libya in terms that should be worrying to the wide swath of the American polity that has grown allergic to haphazardly-planned, open-ended military conflicts:

America must lead in a dangerous world, and our diplomats must continue representing us in dangerous places. […]

We have learned the hard way when America is absent, especially from unstable places, there are consequences. […]

Retreat from the world is not an option. America cannot shrink from our responsibility to lead.

Under questioning, Clinton also characterized the Libya intervention as "remarkable," echoing her assertion last week that it was "smart power at its best."

Now Hillary Says “I Took Responsibility” on Benghazi

At the new Benghazi hearing today, Hillary prepared a statement in which she sat there with a straight face and actually said, “I took responsibility”.

REALLY?!

When exactly did that happen??

We must’ve missed it during all those speeches where she blamed the consulate attack on a ridiculous Internet video, even doubling down on the pathetic lie once the information came out that it was totally untrue.

Can you believe this woman might be the next President of the United States?

State Dept. SUDDENLY DISCOVERS 1,300 Emails from Ambassador Stevens – 2 Days Before Hillary’s Testimony

The Obama State Department suddenly discovered and turned over 1,300 pages of emails from former Ambassador Chris Stevens.

Gowdy: Four Benghazi dead deserve ‘the truth’

Rep. Trey Gowdy kicked off Thursday’s Benghazi testimony from former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton saying the inquiry is about getting at the truth for the four Americans who died in the 2012 attack as he defended his panel against attacks.

“This investigation is about four people who were killed representing our country on foreign soil. It is about what happened before, during and after the attacks that killed them. It is about what this country owes those who risked their lives to serve it,” Mr. Gowdy, South Carolina Republican and chairman of the Select Committee on Benghazi, said, laying out a series of questions that he said still need answers.

Webmaster's Commentary:

So far, the panels Democrats have been doing nothing but attacking the panels Republicans, Hillary cannot get the look of arrogance off of her face, and more interestingly, she has not acted surprised by any of the (softball) questions given to her so far, which tells me that somehow, she has known in advance what was going to be asked of her. All her responses sound carefully rehearsed.

Benghazi Attack: 'Hillary Is A Boldfaced Liar'

Patricia Smith, whose son Sean Smith was one of those murdered in the attack, told Sky News: "Why wasn't there security for my son and the ambassador and the other guys?

"There was supposed to be security.

"The night before, he called me and he said 'mum there's trouble here … there's people walking around and taking pictures of everything. Something is going to happen.'

"He asked for more security and they turned him down, and the ambassador asked for more security and they turned him down too. Why?"

Mrs Smith added: "I'm calling Hillary a boldfaced liar."

What Congress Should Ask Hillary Clinton

There are dozens of Hillary Clinton scandals that I have no wish to minimize. But how is it that her habits of secrecy themselves attract more interest than the secrets already exposed?

Here is someone who has allowed shipments of weapons to countries that effectively paid her bribes. Last May the International Business Times published an article by David Sirota and Andrew Perez with the headline "Clinton Foundation Donors Got Weapons Deals From Hillary Clinton's State Department."

As the article recounts, Clinton approved a massive weapons sale to Saudi Arabia, almost certainly involving weapons since used to bomb innocent families in Yemen, despite official State Department positions on Saudi Arabia and, I might add, in apparent violation of the Arms Export Control Act.

Oct 21 09:44

CLINTON STATE DEPARTMENT APPROVED U.S. WEAPONS SHIPMENT TO LIBYA DESPITE BAN

The State Department initially approved a weapons shipment from a California company to Libyans seeking to oust Moammar Gadhafi in 2011 even though a United Nations arms ban was in place, according to memos recovered from the burned-out compound in Benghazi.

The documents, obtained by The Washington Times, show U.S. diplomats at the Benghazi compound were keeping track of several potential U.S.-sanctioned shipments to allies, one or more of which were destined for the Transitional National Council, the Libyan movement that was seeking to oust Gadhafi and form a new government.

At least one of those shipments, kept in a file marked “arms deal,” was supposed to come from Dolarian Capital Inc. of Fresno, California, according to an end use certificate from the State Department’s office of defense trade controls licensing that was contained in the file.

Webmaster's Commentary:

But what about weapons which did make it into Libya under her watch?!?

9 Important Facts About the Hillary Clinton Email Scandal

Sanders was saying the issue was not that important to voters, while chastising the media for covering the topic. A liberal Washington Post reporter disagrees.

While a majority of Democrats would like the see the issue go away, a majority of Americans believe Clinton is deserving of additional scrutiny on the issue, Philip Bump wrote. So with that in mind, let us scrutinize.

Below are nine facts on the email scandal:

On Benghazi, Hillary still in accuse-the-accuser mode

Republicans and Democrats deny accusations of partisanship in the congressional Benghazi investigation, while both parties jockey to position themselves to best advantage regarding Hillary Clinton’s pending testimony. If Hillary is pilloried, it’s because of evidence only.

Clinton Coronation Back on Track? Not So Fast

A strong debate performance — aided by chief rival Bernie Sanders’s dismissal of her e-mail scandal — has Clinton backers claiming the scandal is a dead issue in the Democratic primaries. Clinton’s pollster, Joel Berenson, notes that some 75 percent of Democrats approve of her, even though 31 percent of them also think she is lying about the e-mail scandal. Her questioners on the House Benghazi Committee, this line of thinking goes, have revealed their partisanship, and she ought to have no trouble besting them in her appearance before the committee this Thursday.

Flashback - Libya: Moussa Koussa, the intelligence chief who was an enemy of the West and then its friend

The former Libyan intelligence chief who has defected to Britain has been implicated in the Lockerbie bombing and a number of other atrocities conducted by the regime of Col Muammar Gaddafi.

Oct 20 15:22

Flashback: Moussa Koussa's defection surprises Libya – and maybe Britain too

Koussa, who spent Thursday being debriefed by MI6, appears to have taken the Libyan regime completely by surprise – and perhaps the British too.

The flight that took him from Tunisia to Farnborough on a rainy Wednesday afternoon was the last leg of a choreographed getaway that he may have planned for weeks, but dared not confide to anyone. Certainly he told nobody in Tripoli, the city in which he was born, and which he left on Monday in a cavalcade of armoured limousines, having convinced the regime that he needed medical treatment across the border.

Once in Tunisia he made contact with British officials, but had no time to arrange for them to escort him back to the UK, or to negotiate immunity from prosecution. He left in a privately hired jet – not one provided by the British military – from the airport at Djerba, and was spirited away to a safe house when he landed several hours later.

FLASHBACK 2012 - New Explosive Benghazi Allegations: CIA Operators Told to ‘Stand Down’ During Attack As 3 Urgent Requests for Military Back-Up Were Denied

Explosive new allegations surrounding the Benghazi attack emerged this morning, with FOX News’ Jennifer Griffin reporting that sources have confirmed that three urgent requests for military assistance sent from the CIA annex were all denied; CIA operators were apparently told to “stand down” rather than respond when shots were heard around 9:40 p.m. on September 11. Following the alleged developments, Charles Woods, father of ex-Navy SEAL Tyrone Woods who was killed in the attack, passionately responded to this new information on Glenn Beck’s radio program (see his comments at the end of the article).

State Department and Benghazi committee accidentally release CIA source's name in Hillary Clinton email – who turns out to be suspected mastermind behind the 1988 Lockerbie bombing

The State Department inadvertently released the name of a CIA source who is suspected of being the main plotter behind the 1988 Lockerbie, Scotland airline bombing, and the House Select Committee on Benghazi republished the mistake this week.

The CIA told Congress that the name of the alleged secret agency source was not considered by the agency to be a major secret.

The name was mentioned but then partially redacted by the State Department from an email received on Hillary Clinton's private server.

At issue is Moussa Koussa, a one-time intelligence chief for Libyan dictator Muammar Gaddafi, whose name was mentioned in an email Clinton received four years ago from her close confidant Sidney Blumenthal.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Sooooooo ... thanks to Hillary's private email server, the "Mastermind" behind Lockerbie has been exposed as a CIA asset!

NATO BLIND: Top Secret Russian Air Defence System Deployed in Syria

You are only as good as those you fight. The US military is great for gunning down innocent men, women and children all over the planet for their corporate and neocon masters.
They are absolutely no good for defending the USA from attack and are at this moment training to attack the American people. And they have now been caught not only giving aid and comfort to America's enemies, they the Pentagram creates Americas enemies out of whole cloth! Shameful!

Thierry Meyssan, a French journalist who has been based in Damascus for some years now, is reporting that Russia has deployed its most advanced, top secret air defence system in Syria, which has essentially “left NATO blind.”

While the West has been completely embarrassed by Russia’s swift and effective operation in Syria, it has now been utterly outclassed; so greatly that, as we shall hear below, even NATO Commanders are ‘worried’.

"He Kept Us Safe" (before he kept us safe)

Of course, if you're a Republican like Jeb Bush, and your brother also happens to be responsible for the worst military blunder in American history, the subject of the September 11 attacks can be very confusing and complicated, and certainly a tragedy with a hazy timeline and dubious and disputable blame.

Which is why it would be best for Bush, and extremely helpful to voters, if he would issue a statement of clarification on the subject:

Russia's Syrian Operation to Smash Terrorists, End Tyranny of Banking Elite

Hillary Clinton LAUGHS when Jake Tapper asks her about the FBI's investigation into her emails

Hillary Clinton still gets a kick out of what rival Bernie Sanders said about her 'damn emails' at Tuesday night's debate.

She laughed about it again on Sunday when State of the Union host Jake Tapper brought it up.

'They don't care who gets killed': Ex-drone pilot turned whistleblower to RT

What masquerades as our government here in America is really a criminal gang run by Psychopaths!

Guilt-ridden American drone pilots continue to quit in unprecedented numbers. One former secret mission operator, Brandon Bryant, who’s received a whistleblower award, spoke to RT of the horrors of indiscriminate killing from a safe distance.

Herridge: Whistleblowers Call Out Double Standard in Hillary's Email Scandal

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is another indication that the real scandals still hidden behind Hillary's server are so big, they could bring down the entire government. As a result, we see GOP members of Congress undermining the credibility of the Benghazi probe, The FBI complaining that Obama is interfering with their investigation, and Bernie Sanders dropping the email issue, even though it could remove his chief rival for the Democratic nomination! Not without as good reason are so many people of both parties trying to protect Hillary right now!

In politics, there are two kinds of secrets. There are the little secrets; the sex scandals, the bribes, which are the fodder for political infighting. Then there are the great secrets, secrets so terrible they would bring down the entire government, such as the truth behind the JFK assassination, the truth behind 9-11, and so forth. Sanders' dismissal of Hillary's email scandal was not done to protect Hillary herself, but to protect the government Sanders hopes to lead. Sanders knows that if pursued, the public will learn that behind the server itself lurks far larger scandals, such as government-sanctioned gun-running from Libya to ISIS and Al Qaeda in Syria (using that Consulate in Benghazi), and whether the weak private email server holding US secrets, coupled with a "charitable foundation" legally allowed to accept money from foreign sources, signals a repeat of the 1996 Clinton "China-gate" secrets-for-donations scandal!

The Stooge and the Statesman

In a Corporate State no one but a stooge will stand as President. No matter whether in charge is a bubba from Arkansas, a sham cowboy, a sissy black, or a warmongering harebrained bitch: a stooge bears no responsibility. However indecent or heinous he might be, as long as he’s doing his Corporate Bidding, he’ll brazenly beat the rap. The rise of dissenting voices will remain offstage; unheard, ineffective. A Corporate State holds power over the citizens through the Corporate Media apparatus, which spreads scourge by shaping opinion.

Mesmerized by News channels and distracted by status quo-supporting Hollywood paradigm, Corporate Citizenry firmly believes itself to be free and safe, while shamelessly parroting events and statements it was indoctrinated to, proudly saluting its flag, listening to and thanking the Stooge-in-Chief.

Richard Hanna and the GOP are handing Hillary Clinton a Benghazi hearing win before it even starts

Hillary Rodham Clinton won't appear before the House select committee tasked with investigating the deaths of four Americans in Benghazi, Libya, until next Thursday. But, thanks to House Republicans, she's already got a major leg up, politically speaking.

First came House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy's career-killing comment that the Benghazi committee deserved credit for dragging down Clinton's poll numbers. Now we have Rep. Richard Hanna (N.Y.) who told a local radio station this week that "this may not be politically correct, but I think that there was a big part of this investigation that was designed to go after people and an individual, Hillary Clinton." Hanna added: “I think that’s the way Washington works. But you’d like to expect more from a committee that’s spent millions of dollars and tons of time.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

Yeah, once may be a goof, but twice? It is obvious that the politicians are circling the wagons around Hillary's email server and a major scandal still hidden behind it, such as the US running guns from Libya to ISIS and Al Qaeda in Syria!

But before everybody moved on, Sanders weighed in. "I think the secretary is right," he said. "And that is, I think the American people are sick and tired of hearing about your damn emails." Clinton smiled and thanked him, and the crowd roared its approval.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Here we have on display the spectacle of a candidate for President dismissing THE issue which could remove his top rival for the Democratic nomination. I doubt Sanders did that for no reason.

Sanders' dismissal of Hillary's email scandal was not done to protect Hillary, but possibly because Sanders knows that if pursued, the public will learn that behind the server itself lurks far larger scandals, such as government-sanctioned gun-running from Libya to ISIS and Al Qaeda in Syria (using that Consulate in Benghazi), and whether the weak private email server holding US secrets, coupled with a "charitable foundation" legally allowed to accept money from foreign sources, signals a repeat of the 1996 Clinton "China-gate" secrets-for-donations scandal!

White House: Hillary ISN'T in the clear - when president said servergate wasn't a national security risk, that might change

The White House had to play clean up this week for President Barack Obama after he asserted in an interview Hillary Clinton's use of a private server hadn't 'endangered' national security.

'The President was making an observation about what we know so far,' White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest said.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is a clever bit of propaganda. Obama knows that most of the people who heard him say Hillary had not endangered National Security will not see the White House retraction, and will go on believing what he said (assuming they believed him the moment he said it).

However, it was a rather reckless comment by Obama, and suggests that Obama is worried about a far larger scandal lurking behind Hillary's emails, such as US-backed gun-running to ISIS and Al Qaeda from Libya to Syria, and whether the weak private email server holding US secrets, coupled with a "charitable foundation" legally allowed to accept money from foreign sources, signals a repeat of the 1996 Clinton "China-gate" secrets-for-donations scandal!

Private server used by Hillary Clinton while secretary of state was vulnerable to hacking: report

The private email server running in Hillary Clinton’s home basement when she was secretary of state was connected to the Internet in ways that made it more vulnerable to hackers while using software that could have been exploited, according to data and documents reviewed by The Associated Press.

Clinton’s server, which handled her personal and State Department correspondence, appeared to allow users to connect openly over the Internet to control it remotely, according to detailed records compiled in 2012. Experts said the Microsoft remote desktop service wasn’t intended for such use without additional protective measures, and was the subject of U.S. government and industry warnings at the time over attacks from even low-skilled intruders.

Hillary’s Private Server Was Extremely Vulnerable to Hacking — AP Confirms

Lost in debate news – Obama walks back Hillary server defense

Hillary Clinton supporters understandably are happy after last night’s debate. The motley crew of challengers on stage were incapable of stringing sentences together, much less taking on Clinton directly. Bernie Sanders’ demand that the media leave Hillary alone on her server also was a boost to her narrative of “nothing to see here, move along.”

But that good night masked the fact that in the real world, the server is a serious problem legally and politically.

When Obama was interviewed on 60 Minutes last Sunday, he seemed to be signaling there was nothing to Hillary’s server problem, Obama pretty much signaled Justice to lay off Hillary:

Hillary’s Email Server Was a Hack Risk

Hillary Clinton’s personal email server was connected to the Internet in a way that made it vulnerable to hacking risks, according to an AP investigation. A ‘Cancer’ on the Clinton Candidacy

Clinton’s frustration with her own campaign staff was striking. So was her refusal for much of the year to characterize the escalating email controversy as anything other than a failure of communications, messaging or the vast right-wing-and-media conspiracy. Both complaints were consistent with what other campaign advisers told us in dozens of interviews for this story—except some of them laid equal blame on the candidate herself.

Indeed, from the minute news of Clinton’s secret personal email server broke this past March, she had reacted by lashing out at her enemies—and repeatedly demanding of her inner circle, “How do we get past this?” Neither the campaign nor the candidate have definitively answered that question, and the months of indecision, uncertainty and mounting legal threat have left Clinton, for the second time in her two presidential campaigns, a deeply vulnerable front-runner.

Obama defends Clinton over private email server, blames controversy on politics

Hillary Rodham Clinton’s use of a private email server while she was secretary of State “is not a situation in which America's national security was endangered,” President Obama said in an interview Sunday, adding that although Clinton “made a mistake,” he believes the controversy over the matter has “been ginned up … in part because of politics.”

Obama cannot possibly know for a fact if National Security was compromised. If anyone is playing politics it is Obama, trying to protect the Democrats, and quite possibly protect a far worse scandal hidden behind the server, such as running guns to our enemies ISIS and Al Qaeda in Syria. And given the 1996 China-gate scandal, Obama knows the Clintons have sold US secrets for donations in the past. The combination of a weak outside server and a "charitable" foundation accepting payments from foreign sources strongly suggests Hillary is repeating an old family pattern, which makes Obama's blanket declaration that National Security was not compromised even more ridiculous on the face of it!

The Six Most Disastrous Interventions of the 21st Century

by Gary Leupp
On October 2 President Barack Obama, alluding to Russia’s decision to launch air strikes in Syria, told reporters at the White House that for Russia to view the forces targeted “from the perspective they’re all terrorists [is] a recipe for disaster, and it’s one that I reject.”

1 Afghanistan

The first was the disaster of the invasion of Afghanistan beginning in October 2001. I’m not sure we should call it a “crime,” since the international coalition that invaded was authorized by a UN resolution, or a “mistake” since it was clearly the result of calculation.

BREAKING: Leaked Benghazi Docs Directly Implicate Barack H. Obama

The week that will supposedly define President Obama’s legacy just got a splash of cold water thrown on it. New documents have surfaced showing that President Obama and his officials were directly involved in the “blame the video” narrative following the terrorist attack in Benghazi in 2012

The documents, released by a Freedom of Information Act Request, show that top Obama officials were directly involved in determining how to mislead the American people about the reason behind the terrorist attack that took the lives of 4 Americans.

Incompetent or indifferent: Clinton burns CIA Libya contact

On March 18, 2011, Blumenthal wrote to Clinton about a conversation he had had with Tyler Drumheller, a former CIA official, who divulged the name of the contact. When the email was released to the Select Committee on Benghazi, the name was redacted.

"Tyler spoke to a colleague currently at CIA," Blumenthal wrote, "who told him the agency had been dependent for intelligence from [redacted due to sources and methods]."

It is bad enough that Drumheller, who had business interests in Libya along with Blumenthal, was able to learn so much from intelligence officers in the field. It is worse that he was so indiscreet as to tell Blumenthal, who had no business knowing and certainly no business sending email from his AOL account. But worst of all, this information reached Clinton in a way that left it open to anyone with the right computer skills.

BOMBSHELL: EVIDENCE SHOWS CLINTON RAN A PARALLEL, OUTSOURCED STATE DEPT.

The real scandal surrounding Democratic presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton’s private email system may be that she was running, in concert with a private consulting firm tied closely to George Soros, an outsourced and parallel State Department answerable only to her and not President Obama, the Congress, or the American people.

Trey Gowdy: Clinton Emails Name CIA Source, Push Action in Libya

Hillary Clinton's confidant Sidney Blumenthal names a CIA source and pushes action in Libya, partly to promote business interests, Trey Gowdy says in a letter about new emails his committee plans to release.

The House Benghazi Select Committee plans to release the emails from former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton prior to her testimony later this month.

Oct 09 12:15

Newly disclosed emails mean more trouble for Hillary

Trey Gowdy, chairman of the House Select Committee on Benghazi, has told Elijah Cummings, his Democratic counterpart on the committee, that he will soon release 1,500 pages of new Hillary Clinton emails concerning Libya that the State Department recently turned over. A “small number” of them pertain to the 2012 terrorist attack on the U.S. compound, Gowdy said.

In his letter to Cummings, Gowdy also revealed that many of the emails in question involve Sid Blumenthal.

Oct 09 12:13

Gowdy says new emails show Clinton confidant naming CIA source, pushing Libya interests

Longtime Hillary Clinton confidant Sidney Blumenthal allegedly sent her an email with the name of a CIA source, further casting doubt on her claim she never sent or received classified information on her private email address, according to the Republican chairman of the committee investigating the 2012 Benghazi attacks.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is nonsense. The job of Secretary of State involves a great deal of classified information. If Hillary was not using her official government email, and insists there was no classified emails on her private server, then what server DID she use for the classified information and why hasn't it been surrendered to the Benghazi investigation?

BEX ALERT - Judge says Hillary Clinton’s server is private

A federal judge ordered the State Department Wednesday to request former Secretary Hillary Rodham Clinton not delete any government business emails she may still have, but said he doubts he can force her to do anything.

Judge Reggie B. Walton said since Mrs. Clinton used her own BlackBerry and computer devices, and kept her email server at her home, he doesn’t have authority over the records she created on those.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Wrong, your dishonor; the emails in question were not created by Hillary but by US Government agencies, and hence are the property of the public. In point of fact the judge does have the authority to order Hillary to turn them all over, just as judges have been ordering ordinary Americans to turn over their PRIVATE data from their phones and tablets. The hypocrisy on this is stunning, to say the least, and further reinforces the public perception of yet another high-level government cover-up!

Clinton server hack attempts came from China, Korea, Germany

At least five cyberattack tries were apparently blocked by a "threat monitoring" product that was connected to her network in October 2013, eight months after she left office. But for more than three months earlier that year, her system was not protected by the security product because it had not been installed.

Webmaster's Commentary:

BUMP TO THE TOP

And just to make it easier for you to post to the comments sections on corporate media websites, here are two text versions for you to cut and paste, depending on how much room you are allowed.

Back in 1996, when Bill Clinton was running for re-election, he authorized the transfer of highly sensitive technology to China. This technology had military applications and allowed China to close the gap in missile performance with the United States. The transfers were opposed and severely criticized by the Defense Department.

At the same time Bill Clinton was transferring this technology to China, huge donations began to pour into his re-election campaign from the US companies allowed to sell the technology to China, and from American citizens of Chinese descent. The fact that they were US citizens allowed them to donate to political campaigns, but it later emerged that they were acting as conduits for cash coming in from Asian sources, including Chinese Intelligence Agencies! The scandal became known as China-gate!

This establishes a history of the Clintons treating US secrets as their own personal property, selling them to raise money for campaigns.

Now then, let us consider a private email server with weak security, at least one known totally open access point, no encryption, and outside the control and monitoring systems of the US government, on which are parked many of the nation's most closely guarded secrets! It is already established that Hillary's email was hacked. One hacker named Guccifer provided copies of emails to Russia Today, which published them. Another hacker is reported to be offering 32,000 of Hillary's emails for the sum of $500,000. Security experts agree that Hillary's server had worse security than the Ashley Madison website!

Now, consider a charitable foundation owned by the Clintons (which actually does very little charitable work). Being a charitable foundation, it is allowed to accept "donations" from foreign sources, and roughly 40% of the cash that has poured into the Clinton Foundation has come from foreign sources. Many of those foreign sources received preferential treatment from Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, sufficient for attorney Larry Klayman to file a RICO lawsuit against the foundation (which as of last report was thrown out of court by a Clinton-appointed judge who refused to recuse himself over the obvious conflict of interest)!

Easy means of delivering secrets. Easy means of accepting payment! And now there is confirmation that Hillary did have a private "off the books" spy network, centered on Sidney Blumenthal, while she was secretary of state!

This is a perfect setup to repeat the 1996 selling of secrets for cash. In other words, a perfect espionage operation, running out the US State Department, with the weak email server providing the secrets and a charitable foundation to accept and launder the payments! Hillary doesn't have to physically steal the files, the way Jonathan Pollard did. Hillary doesn't have to scratch an X on a mailbox, the way Aldrich Ames did. Hillary doesn't have to tape bundles of stolen documents underneath a park bridge, like Robert Hannsen did!

It is time to look past the small scandal of the private email server at what may be a far larger scandal hidden behind it!

And the longer the government and corporate media avoids this question, the more complicit they look!

(smaller) ---------------

Remember China-gate from 1996? Then President Bill Clinton authorized the sale of sensitive US technology to China and Chinese money was donated to his re-election campaign!

Was Hillary playing the same game, selling US secrets delivered via a private server with weaker security than the Ashley Madison website in exchange for "donations" to her "charitable" foundation?

It is time to look past the server itself to what may be the biggest spy scandal in US history!

Former DIA Chief Michael Flynn Says Rise Of ISIS Was A “Willful Decision” of Obama administration

The DC Rats wear no clothes!

Well this is a bombshell. Top placed US intelligence insider calls out Obama administration for turning a blind eye toward ISIS rise.

In an interview with Al-Jazeera retired director of the DIA Michael T. Flynn confirms that not only had he studied the Defense Intelligence Agency memo predicting the West’s backing of an Islamic State in Syria when it came across his desk in 2012, but even asserts that the White House’s sponsoring of radical jihadists (that would emerge as ISIL and Nusra) against the Syrian regime was “a willful decision.”

America Pivots to Brzezinski’s Delusion of Eurasian Conquest

Russia historian Stephen Cohen points to the neoconservative establishment for America's latest outbreak of what can only be referred to as late-stage imperial dementia. Neocons Robert Kagan and wife Victoria Nuland have certainly done the heavy lifting to make Ukraine the staging ground for what appears to be a NATO blitzkrieg on Moscow. But whatever the determination of the neocon plot, they are only the barking dogs of master imperialist Zbigniew Brzezinski, whose grand design has been creeping over the globe since he stepped into the Oval office as National Security Advisor to President Jimmy Carter in 1977.

Webmaster's Commentary:

For you Doctor Who fans, have you noticed how much Zbigniew Brzezinski looks (and acts) like Davros? :)

Emails show Qaddafi son offered talks – but Clinton ordered top general to 'not take the call,' source says

New emails obtained by Fox News show that in March 2011, at the height of the Arab Spring revolution inside Libya, dictator Muammar Qaddafi’s son Saif was willing to talk peace from the ground in Libya – but a source told Fox News the offer was rejected by then-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Hillary's (and the US') goal in Libya was not peace, but the destruction of Gaddafi's state bank and the gold dinar, and for Libya's oil to be sold only for the US dollar.

The FBI’s Investigation Of Hillary Just Had A Major New Development That Can’t Be Good For Her

One Platte River employee wrote to another employee that he was “Starting to think this whole thing really is covering up some shaddy (sic) s—.”

“I just think if we have it in writing that they told us to cut the backups, and that we can go public with our statement saying we have backups since day one, then we were told to trim to 30days (sic), it would make us look a WHOLE LOT better,” the unnamed employee continued.

Clinton e-mails were vulnerable to hackers, tech firm warned

A technology subcontractor that has worked on Hillary Rodham Clinton’s e-mail setup expressed concerns over the summer that the system was inadequately protected and vulnerable to hackers, a company official said Wednesday.

But the concerns were rebuffed by the company managing the Clinton account, Platte River Networks, which said it had been instructed by the FBI not to make changes. The FBI has been reviewing the security of the e-mail system.

Carl Bernstein: Hillary Email Server ‘Solidified the Impression’ as Someone ‘Who Can’t Tell the Truth’

Wednesday on CNN’s “New Day,” veteran journalist Carl Bernstein weighed in on the controversy surrounding Democratic presidential front-runner Hillary Clinton for her use of a private email server during her tenure as secretary of state.

Host Chris Cuomo asked Bernstein if Clinton was evading the truth more than other politicians, to which Bernstein said, “Politicians lie.”

“We don’t know except in terms of judging individual candidates,” Bernstein replied. “Politicians lie. Hillary Clinton has been around public life for almost 40 years now and what we see is whenever she is in any kind of trouble, she is unwilling to open up and be transparent. It has dogged her for years and years, and right now it’s the biggest problem with her campaign.”

As for the server, Bernstein argued it “solidified the impression” she was dishonest, as some polling as indicated.

How Putin will Win in Syria

By most accounts, the conflict had deteriorated into a stalemate. Now, with Russia in the picture, that’s changed. Now the table is clearly tilted in Syria’s favor.…

The reason Putin will succeed where the US failed in its war on ISIS, is because the Russian air-strikes are going to be accompanied by a formidable mop-up operation that will overpower the jihadi groups on the ground. This is already happening as we speak. The Russian Air Force has been pounding terrorist targets across the Idlib Governorate for the last few days as well as ISIS strongholds in the East at Raffa. Putin is going to cut through these guys like crap through a goose.

Putin is not going to stop for anything or anyone. He’s going to nail these guys while he has them in his gun-sights, then he’s going to wrap it up and go home.

Employees at company working with Clinton email server expressed concerns

Johnson indicates that a "Clinton family company," Clinton Executive Service Corp., paid for the back-up services, operated through a device called the Datto SIRIS S2000, and that the purchase was made by Platte River Networks when the server was moved from her private residence to a New Jersey-based data center in 2013.

In the letter, Johnson quotes from emails sent by and to employees at Platte River Networks, which indicate there was discussion about how the duration of data backups could be reduced, apparently at the direction of the Clinton Executive Service Corp.

Then this past August, a Platte River Networks employee wrote to a coworker that he was, "Starting to think this whole thing really is covering up some shaddy (sic) s**t."

Webmaster's Commentary:

So Hillary told the back-up company to not save the backups past thirty days!

FBI Seizes Four State Department Servers in Clinton Email Probe

The FBI has seized four State Department computer servers as part of its probe into how classified information was compromised on former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s private email system, according to people familiar with the investigation.

The four servers, which were located at the State Department’s headquarters building, were seized by the FBI several weeks ago. They are being checked by technical forensic analysts charged with determining how Top Secret material was sent to Clinton’s private email by State Department aides during her tenure as secretary from 2009 to 2013, said two people familiar with the probe. The people spoke on condition of anonymity because it is an ongoing investigation.

State Department spokesman John Kirby referred questions about the computer servers to the FBI. An FBI spokeswoman, Carol Cratty, declined to comment.

Hillary's emails WERE backed up Homeland Security committee reveals - and IT firm she used feared they were involved in 'shaddy s***'

Some of Hillary Clinton's emails may still exist on the 'cloud' thanks to a technical hiccup.

A letter by Ron Johnson, head of the Senate's Homeland Security Committee, sent to the head of a company tasked with the storage, Datto Inc. of Norwalk, Connecticut, revealed that information from Clinton's private server was accidentally transferred to an off-site server and it may still be there.

The letter, first obtained by McClatchy, also indicates that in February Clinton's team directed a company responsible for the primary care of Clinton's server, Platte River Networks, to cease saving sent emails after 30 days.

In August, around the time that the Federal Bureau of Investigations took possession of the Clinton server, an employee of Platte River, mentioned the 30-day directive in an internal email and said, 'Starting to think this whole thing really is covering up some shaddy s***.'

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is all feeling like theater. Why is the FBI and DoJ running around to various computer companies trying to scavenge Hillary's emails. Doesn't the NSA already have them? Hillary's server, being outside the government, would have been wide open to NSA, right? NSA built all those costly data centers to copy and store all Americans' emails, right?

So one of two conclusions may be drawn from this.

1. The FBI and DoJ are putting on a dog and pony show of being thorough in investigating Hillary's email, at the end of which they will declare nothing was found (a repeat of what they did during the investigation into murdered White House Deputy Counsel Vince Foster).

Or...

2. The NSA spying on Americans is a total bluff, to scare us into silence.

Take your pick.

The World's Silliest Empire

The next silly moment arrived at the UN General Assembly meeting in New York, where Obama, who went on for 30 minutes instead of the allotted 15 (does Mr. Silly President know how to read a clock?) managed to use up all of this time and say absolutely nothing that made any sense to anyone.

But it was Putin's speech that laid out the Empire's silliness for all to see when he scolded the US for making a bloody mess of the Middle East with its ham-handed interventions. The oft-repeated quote is “Do you understand what you have done?” but that's not quite right. The Russian «?? ???? ????????? ??????, ???? ?? ??????????» can be more accurately translated as “How can you even now fail to understand what a mess you have made?” Words matter: this is not how one talks to a superpower before an assembly of the world's leaders; this is how one scolds a stupid and wayward child. In the eyes of the whole world, this made the Empire look rather silly.

Russia To The Rescue

Happy Birthday President Putin.Wish America had a leader like you!

If Syria has now effectively become a Russian protectorate, it follows logically that NO planes ought henceforth to be allowed to fly over Syrian air space without Assad’s consent and Russian approval. This will apply not only to Israeli planes but, by extension, to American planes, British planes and French planes. The distinction between the “good terrorists” (the so-called Syrian “rebels” backed by the West) and the “bad terrorists” and their affiliates (ISIS and their kind) will soon disappear.

The Russian aim is to support the Assad regime. As such, all the Western-backed “rebel” forces in Syria will henceforth be regarded as deadly enemies of Syria and will probably be destroyed. Putin has every right to bomb the Muslim mercenaries on the American payroll. A

Many Americans are old enough to remember a time when they were proud of their own country too, when it actually stood up for the principles it espouses in its founding documents. That was quite a while ago though, sometime back in the “pre-Gitmo” era”.

Hillary Email Scandal: Has Another Private Account Been Found?

Last week, Patrick F. Kennedy, the State Department's under secretary of state for management, told Clinton's lawyer in a letter that she had better get busy providing more emails.

"To the extent her emails might be found on any internet service and email providers," he wrote, "we encourage you to contact them."

Kennedy's letter raises another issue beyond possible perjury from a presidential candidate. Is he suggesting that there is possibly another private email account used by Clinton while at State that we don't know about?

So far we know that Clinton used hdr22@clintonemail.com and HRod17@clintonemail.com during her tour at the State Department. If she turned over all her relevant emails from these known accounts, as she says she has, then what is Kennedy referring to? More from those same accounts? Or emails from another not-yet-identified account? The wording "on any internet service and email providers" leaves the request wide open for interpretation.

Hillary hopes to beat the rap on a technicality

Have you ever watched a courtroom drama in which the judge dramatically declares that a whole swath of evidence is inadmissible because its origins were tainted?

That’s what Hillary Clinton is hoping Democrats do for her today with her first television ad.

The new spot no doubt will add further anguish to Republicans contemplating the speakership of Kevin McCarthy. And it will, no doubt, certainly help frame the former secretary of state’s testimony later this month about the deadly raid of 2012 in Benghazi, Libya.

We Aren't Nearly As Worried About The Middle East As We should Be

What's the opposite of a gift that keeps on giving? A mistake that keeps metastasizing.

Which pretty much sums up the US role in the Middle East. Beginning with the CIA's 1953 overthrow of Iran's democratically elected president and continuing through the multiple regime changes and invasions of recent years, various American governments have behaved like they both understood that region and had the power to mold it into a docile client that pumped oil, suppressed dissent and otherwise caused no trouble.

Instead, each intervention turned up the heat on an already-boiling pot of corruption, sectarian rivalry and geopolitical anger that has finally erupted into regional civil war. The whole world, at long last, understands that the situation is beyond both US understanding and control.

And that's the good news.

With Russia’s Dep. Army Chief due in Israel, Moscow posts 64 S-300 ship-to-air missiles off Syria, N. Israel

Got news for DEBKAfile. Russia can shoot down ALL US stealth aircraft!
Do your own dirty work Israel!

Russia’s deputy chief of staff, Gen. Nikolay Bogdanovsky, accompanied by a large military delegation, arrives in Israel for a two-day visit on Tuesday, Oct. 6, to discuss increased coordination between the two militaries. However, Moscow seems to be sending Jerusalem an altogether different message: Friday, Oct. 2, the Russian Defense Ministry announced the surprise deployment of Navy cruiser, the Moskva, armed with 64 advanced anti-aircraft missiles S-300 ship-to-air missiles opposite the Syrian coastal town of Latakia.

If US President Obama truly wanted to deal effectively with Moscow’s military moves in Syria, besides saying that Russia is bound to fail, he would have ordered the deployment of US stealth fighters to Turkey and Israel.

Western imperialism, in all of its manifestation, is being challenged by five political leaders, through diplomacy, moral persuasion and public pressure.

In recent time, Pope Francis, Russian President Vladimir Putin, Chinese President Xi Jinping, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and Labor Party leader Jeremy Corbyn have raised fundamental questions concerning (1) war and peace in the Middle East and the Caucuses; (2) climate change and the destruction of the environment; (3) economic sanctions, military threats and confrontation; and (4) growing inequalities of class, gender and race.

Guthrie noted that while Clinton had apologized for using a private email, she also kept saying that it was an invented issue used by Republicans to attack her. “And I guess my question to you is, which is it?” she said. “If you’re blaming the Republicans, some might wonder how genuine is that apology?”

“Well, actually it’s both,” Clinton said. “I mean, I’m sorry that I made a choice that has resulted in this kind of situation, and I’ve said I’ve made a mistake. Obviously if I had to do it over again, I wouldn’t. It was allowed and everybody has confirmed that. But it’s also, as we now know very clearly, the way that the Republicans are trying to bring my– as they admit– poll numbers down.”

Says Ousting Assad In Syria 'Going to Be the Same Thing'

Speaking today on NBC’s Meet the Press, Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump cautioned against further intervention in Syria, noting that the US largely has no idea who these rebels they’ve been funding and arming are, and predicting that Syria would go the way of Libya and Iraq, toward more chaos, if Assad was ousted.

A Syria/Berliner ensemble: Escobar

laughing at the CF and watching the masters of the universe cry in their beer

snip: to Syria, where Russia, in roughly 48 hours, did more to smash the Wahhabi/Salafi-jihadi terror matrix than the coalition of dodgy opportunists in over a year and 6,000-plus “sorties.” So many wonders you can operate with a couple of Su-24s, decent sat intel, decent ground intel, and political will.

We Created Al Qaeda to Fight the Soviets in Afghanistan

Jimmy Carter’s National Security Adviser Zbigniew Brzezinski admitted on CNN that the U.S. organized and supported Bin Laden and the other originators of “Al Qaeda” in the 1970s to fight the Soviets.

Brzezinski told Al Qaeda’s forefathers – the Mujahadin:

We know of their deep belief in god – that they’re confident that their struggle will succeed. How The US Helped To Create Al Qaeda and ISIS

by Garikai Chengu

Much like Al Qaeda, the Islamic State (ISIS) is made-in-the-USA, an instrument of terror designed to divide and conquer the oil-rich Middle East and to counter Iran’s growing influence in the region.

The fact that the United States has a long and torrid history of backing terrorist groups will surprise only those who watch the news and ignore history.

Lest we forget, the CIA gave birth to Osama Bin Laden and breastfed his organization during the 1980?s. Former British Foreign Secretary, Robin Cook, told the House of Commons that Al Qaeda was unquestionably a product of Western intelligence agencies. Mr. Cook explained that Al Qaeda, which literally means an abbreviation of “the database” in Arabic, was originally the computer database of the thousands of Islamist extremists, who were trained by the CIA and funded by the Saudis, in order to defeat the Russians in Afghanistan.
