FISA Report Reveals Clinton Meddled In 2016 Election

If Russia spending $100,000 on Facebook ads constitutes election interference, and Donald Trump asking Ukraine to investigate the Bidens is too - then Hillary Clinton takes the cake when it comes to influence campaigns designed to harm a political opponent.

Contained within Monday's FISA report by the DOJ Inspector General is the revelation that Fusion GPS, the firm paid by the Clinton campaign to produce the Steele dossier, "was paying Steele to discuss his reporting with the media." (P. 369 and elsewhere)

Senate Republicans To Let Bidens Off The Hook? May Skip Witnesses In 'Expedited' Impeachment Trial

While House Democrats are about to impeach President Trump for asking Ukraine to investigate the Bidens for what looks like obvious corruption - Senate Republicans have no interest in calling witnesses to determine whether Trump's request was justified in the first place.

According to the Washington Examiner, the GOP-controlled Senate have no plans to call key witnesses to testify in an impeachment trial. This means Joe Biden, Hunter Biden, John Kerry's stepson, Alexandra Chalupa and Ukrainian prosecutors involved in the Burisma case won't set foot in the Senate.

Their reasoning? Senate Republicans have "no appetite" for it.

Statement of U.S. Attorney John H. Durham

“I have the utmost respect for the mission of the Office of Inspector General and the comprehensive work that went into the report prepared by Mr. Horowitz and his staff. However, our investigation is not limited to developing information from within component parts of the Justice Department. Our investigation has included developing information from other persons and entities, both in the U.S. and outside of the U.S. Based on the evidence collected to date, and while our investigation is ongoing, last month we advised the Inspector General that we do not agree with some of the report’s conclusions as to predication and how the FBI case was opened.”

Obama gave Common Core contract to publisher, got $65-million book deal in return?

Obama gave Pearson Publishing $350 million to create Commoncore text and Pearson gave Obama a $65 million dollar book deal in return.

…and…

Pearson Publishing was paid for Commoncore but Penguin Random House Publishing did the Obama book deal. But there is commonality with the two:

Stage-Managing the Pensacola Naval Base Shooting: Mollycoddling the Face of Evil

As should be expected, the government is attempting to stage-manage the shooting at the Pensacola Naval Base. The Pentagon said sailors killed by a Saudi student reportedly angry over the serial murder of Muslims by the US government “showed exceptional heroism and bravery in the face of evil.”

The alleged shooter, Mohammed Alshamrani, shot dead by police, was a Saudi national said to be enrolled in pilot training the Florida naval base. It is the same naval base linked to the supposed 9/11 hijackers.

Sources told ABC News that investigators are working to determine if the shooter was acting out because of religious or ideological reasons or if there was some sort of problem or hostility that developed in the course of the training at Pensacola.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I have a great appreciation for Nimmo's work, and link to it frequently.

But I think Nimmo may have missed the mark in this article, and let me explain why, and I may tread on more than a few toes, but here it goes;

As long as many innocent Middle Eastern citizens get gunned down on a daily basis, to support US hegemony and the US government continues to give Israel an incredible pass in its pathological inability to "work well with others" in the region, it creates, in and of itself, the potential for this kind instability within this country, allowing violent reactions to these behaviours, to happen.

And please, don't get me started on the US enabling Saudi war crimes in Yemen; I will never finish this post if I go there.

It is exceedingly difficult to "grow up", geopolitically, and discover, surprise, surprise, that the country in which you hold citizenship, has been perpetrating war crimes for resources, for a very, very long time.

I can never, ever condone this type of behaviour from the shooter, but understand how it came about.

I want all who are so inclined, to offer prayers for all who died, and the family and friends of those people, no matter the name of their faith, be they be my Christian, Jewish, Buddhist, or Muslim brothers and sisters who want peace.

And please, as the winter festivals of Christmas and Passover approach, let us, collectively, watch out for each others' backs.

As everyone knows who reads this blog,I am a Christian pacifist activist, and I abhor violence, and never advocate it, at all.

But that being said, that being said, I am very concerned at the US's actions in the Middle East, and beyond, which can be characterized by:

1. Destabilizing what are perceived as "anti US governments", so that US-centric governments can replace them.

2. Expropriating resources to which the US has no moral right, making sure that our "friendly companies" are making the profits from these resources, which rarely - if ever - go back to the people of the country of their origin.

3. Insuring that these resources are only sold in US dollars.

We, in this country, need to have a reasoned, honest, and difficult, conversation, about how we behave toward the rest of the world, and how that behaviour might very well affect our collective safety in the future.

Do people randomly shoot at people from Lichtenstein?!? No.

Do people randomly shoot at people from Andorra?!? No.

Do people randomly shoot at people from Monaco?!? No.

And why?!? Yes, these are small countries, with minor economic clout; but they make deals, rather than wage wars, to get what they want; and that, my friends, is the difference.

The ‘Afghanistan Papers’ Highlight the Systemic Rot in U.S. Foreign Policy Making

here is a laundry list of reasons for why the U.S. foreign policy establishment comes up short on so many occasions. A total and complete absence of accountability in the industry ensures that those who demonstrate poor judgment are protected from punishment and allowed to repeat it. In this harsh political climate, politicians have an incentive to double down on the status-quo rather than admit mistakes. And an aversion to the smallest reform in Washington, D.C. means that it’s easier to simply go along to get along—even if doing so compounds failure.

And when did Steele talk with the media (which got him fired as an FBI source)? September of 2016, roughly six weeks before the election.

One of the more damaging articles to result from these meetings was authored by Yahoo News journalist Michael Isikoff, who said in an interview that he was invited by Fusion GPS to meet a "secret source" at a Washington restaurant.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Jonathan Turley: "They Even Threatened My Dog" For Defending Trump At Impeachment Hearings

Authored by Paul Joseph Watson via Summit News,

Law professor Jonathan Turley revealed that even his dog was violently threatened after he testified in favor of President Trump during the impeachment hearings.

Turley already spoke about death threats he received following his testimony last week, but went further in an interview with CBS anchor Norah O’Donnell.

“I know you received a lot of threats after what you did last week,” O’Donnell told the George Washington University law professor.

“And my wife and dog,” Turley responded.

“To be fair, you did talk about them during your testimony. You did bring up your wife and dog,” O’Donnell said.

“Who would shoot a Goldendoodle?” Turley asked in response.

“Maybe a Shih Tzu, but not a Goldendoodle. I don’t understand where the anger comes from. Although as an academic, the thought that you could talk about James Madison and that would be fighting words is something I haven’t seen outside of a law school.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

Welcome to our world, Mr. Turley.

What Have the US and Protesters in Lebanon Achieved over Iran and Its Allies?

For several weeks now, much of the Lebanese population has turned on the country’s traditional political leaders and wrought havoc on the corrupt domestic political system. Those who have ruled the country for decades have offered little in the way of reforms, have paid little attention to the infrastructure, and done little or nothing to provide job opportunities outside the circle of their clients. The protestors were also driven into the street by the US measures strangling the Lebanese economy and preventing most of the 7-8 million expatriates from transferring financial support (around $8 billion per year) to their relatives back home. This is how the US administration has conducted its policy in the Middle East in its failed attempt to bring Iran and its allies to their knees.

Introduction to Terpenes

A wondrous Plant.

The cannabis plant consists of a wide variety of chemicals and compounds. About 140 of these belong to a large class of aromatic organic hydrocarbons known as terpenes (pronounced tur-peens).

Terpenes are common constituents of flavorings and fragrances. Terpenes, unlike cannabinoids, are responsible for the aroma of cannabis. The FDA and other agencies have generally recognized terpenes as “safe.”

Terpenes act on receptors and neurotransmitters; they are prone to combine with or dissolve in lipids or fats; they act as serotonin uptake inhibitors (similar to antidepressants like Prozac); they enhance norepinephrine activity (similar to tricyclic antidepressants like Elavil); they increase dopamine activity; and they augment GABA (the “downer” neurotransmitter that counters glutamate, the “upper”).

Former CIA director Brennan lied to Congress about Steele Dossier, IG report reveals

A dossier of salacious anti-Trump gossip was used to pad out the intelligence community report on supposed Russian election interference, and CIA Director John Brennan may have misled Congress about it, a new report reveals.

According to the Justice Department Inspector General’s report into the FBI’s surveillance of the Trump campaign, the information contained in the now-infamous ‘Steele Dossier’ was used to inform the Obama administration’s Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) on Russia’s “Activities and Intentions in Recent US Elections,” published several weeks before President Donald Trump assumed office.

A summary of the dossier was included in the assessment, former FBI director James Comey told the Inspector General’s office, because Brennan and a cohort of intelligence personnel felt it “important enough and consistent enough” to warrant entry.

Schiff Confirms Impeachment of Trump is All About 2020

“The argument ‘Why don’t you just wait?’ amounts to this. Why don’t you just let him cheat in one more election? Why not let him cheat just one more time? Why not let him have foreign help just one more time? That is what that argument amounts to. The President’s misconduct goes to the heart of whether we can conduct a free and fair election in 2020. It is bad enough for a candidate to invite foreign interference in our political process, but it is far more corrosive for a president to do so and to abuse his power to make it so. Despite everything we have uncovered, the President’s misconduct continues to this day, unapologetically and right now. As we saw, when he stood on the White House lawn and he was asked, ‘What did you want in that July 25th call?’ and he said the answer was ‘a simple one.’ And not just a simple one on July 25th, but a simple one today, and that is he still wants Ukraine to interfere in our election to help his campaign.

Just how bad was the FBI’s Russia FISA? 51 violations and 9 false statements

To understand just how shoddy the FBI’s work was in securing a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act warrant targeting the Trump campaign, you only need to read an obscure attachment to Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz’s report.

Appendix 1 identifies the total violations by the FBI of the so-called Woods Procedures, the process by which the bureau verifies information and assures the FISA court its evidence is true.

The Appendix identifies a total of 51 Woods procedure violations from the FISA application the FBI submitted to the court authorizing surveillance of former Trump campaign aide Carter Page starting in October 2016.

A whopping nine of those violations fell into the category called: “Supporting document shows that the factual assertion is
inaccurate.”

Federal Lawyer Durham Objects To DOJ IG Report Clearing FBI's Russia Investigation Of Bias

Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz released a report Monday concluding that the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s look into Russian interference in the 2016 election was fundamentally unbiased. However, U.S. Attorney John Durham was quick to say that he did not “agree” with these findings, begging the question: What did the federal lawyer find that Horowitz did not?

Durham was picked by U.S. Attorney General William Barr to conduct an investigation independent of the IG probe. Both focused on whether the FBI's actions to surveil Donald Trump and members of his 2016 campaign for their connections to Russia was tainted by bias or involved unlawful surveillance of Trump and his team. Last week, it was reported that insider sources aware of Durham’s investigation expected the federal lawyer to agree with Horowitz’ conclusions.

Don’t Expect Any Truth from Washington

Inspector General Michael Horowitz, who is part of the problem, has proven me correct with his whitewash of the politically orchestrated “investigation” of President Trump for collusion with Russia to steal the US presidential election. No one in his right mind could believe such a ridiculous accusation was worthy of investigation, especially when there was not a nano-gram of evidence, as the Mueller report confirmed. Horowitz even ruled that there was no FBI political bias despite the total proof of it in FBI Deputy Assistant Director Peter Strzok’s emails with DOJ lawyer Lisa Page, showing the plot against Trump:

FBI Didn't Tell Surveillance Court That Carter Page Was "Operational Contact" For CIA With "Positive Assessment"

Authored by Chuck Ross via National Interest,

The FBI failed to inform surveillance court judges that Carter Page was an “operational contact” for the CIA for years, and that an employee at the spy agency gave the former Trump aide a “positive assessment,” according to a Justice Department report released Monday.

The finding is included in a list of seven of the FBI’s “significant inaccuracies and omissions” in applications for Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrants against Page, a longtime energy consultant who joined the Trump campaign in March 2016.

Time For Buttigieg And Biden To Go

Pete Buttigieg disqualified himself for the presidency when he stole the blankets and cold weather gear from the homeless of South Bend. It will be 16 degrees F tomorrow morning in the mayor’s hometown. What he did was wait until the homeless had gone to a Mission that fed breakfast to the poor. Then he sent a city crew in to take every possession the homeless had which included their blankets and warm weather gear. If a Republican had done that, we would have heard about it. That is a problem for Democrats. They won’t vet candidates to weed out the bad ones before receiving the nomination. Do they prefer to see a few million dollars in ads in October 2020 after the first cold blast of air to tell people that Buttigieg does not care about people who are powerless?

The split seems to have occurred since 2009 when the Mahdi army was militarily defeated in Iraq. Armed militias such as Asaib Ahl al-Haq, instrumental in defeating ISIS in Anbar, and aligned with Iran, openly fought Sadr’s men at times. The result was that al Sadr was forcibly set adrift by Iran and it appears Sadr chose to preserve his own hide rather than preserve his honor.
