ISIS backing Saudi Arabian FM verbally attacks Iran for actions in Middle East and Africa - VIDEO

Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel al-Jubeir talked about what he wrongly believes is the destabilizing effects of Iran in the Middle East and with countries in Africa, during the Munich Security Conference on Sunday.

Underlining the tensions between Saudi Arabia and Iran, Jubeir said, "We didn't attack Iran, Iran is the one attacking us."

He also emphasized his opinion that for Iran to be treated as a regular state, "It has to change its behavior and comport itself with international law."

The ludicrous claims made despite irrefutable evidence showing Saudi Arabia has provided support for numerous jihadist groups, including ISIS.

Marwa Osman: Saudis Intentionally Target Civilians to Pressure Yemeni Resistance

Speaking in an exclusive interview with FNA, Osman said that the Saudi-led coalition deliberately targets civilians to pressure the Yemeni resistance to surrender.

According to the analyst, the coalition uses the same tactic that the Israeli regime has been using to justify its war crimes and that is falsely accusing resistance forces, in this case Ansarullah fighters, of using civilians as human shields.

Marwa Osman is a journalist, political analyst and a university lecturer at the Lebanese International University. She has been frequently interviewed by international news outlets such as RT and Press TV to comment on issues related to the Middle East.

FNA has conducted an interview with Marwa Osman about the ongoing Saudi aggression against Yemen and the possible motives behind the war which resulted in the humanitarian catastrophe which is taking place now in the poor Arab country.

"When it comes to natural gas, over the next decade we are going to be roughly doubling our production to 23 billion cubic feet per day and substantially increasing percentage of the natural gas in the Kingdom’s fuel mix, displacing liquids and therefore reducing carbon [emissions]," Falih said at the opening of the eighth annual IEA-IEF-OPEC Symposium on Energy Outlooks in Riyadh.

Russia says it plans to participate in the initial public offering of the shares of Saudi Arabia’s energy giant Aramco in partnership with a joint investment fund China.

Kirill Dmitriev, chief executive officer of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, was quoted as saying by media that several Russian banks would also join the scheme which could proceed later this year.

“Not only this, but we have a Russia-China investment fund, and through that Russia-China investment fund we see a major interest in the Aramco IPO from a number of leading Chinese institutions,” Dmitriev told reporters, Bloomberg reported.

“We see significant interest to invest in the Aramco IPO from Russia, from China, and we believe that this is very good for, once again, thinking jointly about oil.”

Saudi cluster bombs continue to endanger Yemeni kids’ lives

Thousands of innocent children continue to fall victim to Saudi Arabia’s use of cluster bombs in aerial attacks on residential areas across the Yemen, corroborating assertions of violation of international law in the impoverished Arab country.

Derhim al-Tuheiti was playing in a farming field in an area in Yemen’s western coastal province of Hudaydah, located 150 kilometers southwest of the capital Sana'a, less than a week ago when he found an unexploded cluster bomb.

He took it home, believing it was a toy or a piece of scrap metal. All at once, like deafening firecrackers, explosions ripped through the building, seriously injuring Derhim, his mother and siblings.

The rock art that rewrites the history of Saudi Arabia: 10,000-year-old engravings of rare aurochs and wild camels reveal the area would have been a haven for prehistoric animals

Ancient rock art discovered in Saudi Arabia shows more than 6,600 depictions of wildlife - proving the area was home to a vast range of creatures in prehistoric times.

The engravings, some of which date back to 8,000BC, include images of rare antelope, aurochs, wild camels and African asses, previously not known to live in this area.

Although the area is now a rocky desert, experts believe it would have been a haven for plant and animal life up until 6,000 years ago.

How Al-Qaeda Ended Up With Anti-Aircraft Missiles: Here Is The Congressional Authorization

Though US intelligence and defense officials have long denied that so-called "vetted" groups in Syria were recipients of anti-aircraft systems, rumors to the contrary have been persistent for years. The latest denial came immediately on the heels of Saturday's Russian jet shoot down, which resulted in the death of the pilot on the ground as he came under fire by jihadists. Pentagon spokesman Maj. Adrian J.T. Rankine-Galloway told Russia's TASS: "The United States have not provided any of its allied forces in Syria with anti-aircraft weapons."

US Airstrikes in Yemen Have Increased Sixfold Under Trump

With the Saudi invasion of Yemen turning sour and causing a humanitarian disaster, and the US having withdrawn most of its troops from the country early in that invasion, US officials have largely sought to downplay their military involvement in Yemen.

In reality, however, the number of US airstrikes being carried out has increased precipitously since President Trump took office, with 21 airstrikes on Yemen reported in 2016, and a more than sixfold increase leaving the 2017 figure at 131 strikes. 10 have been reported so far in January of 2018, suggesting that the escalation continues.

The strikes are theoretically targeted at al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP) and ISIS, though in practice with US troops in Yemen only “intermittently,” according to the Pentagon’s own accounting, it’s difficult to see how officials could know with any certainty what is being targeted by US warplanes, beyond being remote areas where such factions are believed to be operating.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Presidents Barak Obama and Donald Trump now have one thing in common, both blood-soaked, and vile, besides having been - and being President; responsibility for colluding in Saudi War Crimes in Yemen.

I remember years ago, as a kid, having swallowed the koolade of "America cannot, and would never do, something morally wrong" to another country.

Now, as an adult, and evaluating the global deteriorization demonstrated by world events and falling standards of living,, I am seeing massive US government military interventions through which to expropiateother country's natural resources to which this country has absolutely no moral right; regime change of governments, to make those governments more western-centric, and to insure that those resourcesm are only sold in US dollars.

The images I am about to present are absolutely "lose your lunch" real, graphic, and absolutely ugly, which it comes to Yemen; but I have absolutely no choice but to continue linking to them until the carnage in Yemen stops.

Images: Yemeni children getting killed and maimed for life, courtesy of US-military enabled Saudi Bombing Runs

Due to Us/ Saudi blockades on Yemeni ports, food cannot get into the county; as a consequence children are starving to death from these blockades.

And now, Yemenis are dying from diptheria and cholera, because there is scarce little medication to treat them. the kids you see in this video may be the lucky ones, who are getting treatment in time. Video:children being treated for cholera

I would like to remind our readers that this is being done in your names, and with your tax dollars. We need to have a blunt, and honest, national conversation about why the US government is in collusion with Saudi Arabia in this genocide against the Yemeni people.

Google's parent company in talks to build massive data hubs in Saudi Arabia – report

Alphabet Inc. is reportedly negotiating a major deal with Saudi Arabia. The tech giant recently cracked down on RT in the name of democracy, but seems to be OK with Riyadh’s systematic human rights violations, at home and abroad.

Senior executives of Alphabet, which owns Google, have reportedly been negotiating “for months” with representatives of the Saudi state oil giant Aramco, as well as Saudi government officials, including Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) reports. The potential deal envisages Alphabet building major data centers in the Kingdom.

Details of the project remain scarce, including the date when the agreement will be finalized, the purpose of the tech hubs and who would control them. Sources familiar with the developments told the WSJ, however, that the size of the potential joint venture could be big enough to list on Saudi Arabia’s stock exchange.

Saudis Have Lost Their Gamble in Yemen But Can't Find Honorable Way to Leave

Geopolitical analyst Ulf Sandmark says Saudi Arabia is stuck in the war in Yemen without finding an honorable way to end it and instead continues to gamble by redoubling its input like gambling addicts. Speaking in an exclusive interview with FNA, Ulf Sandmark said that the Saudis, who very much relied on their mercenaries and air power, underestimated the barefoot Yemeni fighters and are now stuck without an honorable way to end the war they started. According to the analyst, the British, who are financially benefiting from the arms sales to Saudi Arabia, are geopolitically looking for destabilization of the South West Asia region with the aim to block the emerging Chinese New Silk Road (NSR) policy, which is a threat to the British geopolitical policy of Divide and Rule. Ulf Sandmark is a Swedish economist and human rights activist as well as a longtime collaborator of American political figure Lyndon H. LaRouche.

UN Urged to Implement Findings on Qatar Blockade

The National Committee for Human Rights (NHRC) called on the United Nations Commission on Human Rights (OHCHR) to implement the findings of the November 2017 report, which found the actions carried out by Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Bahrain and Egypt against Qatar to be discriminatory, without legal basis, and amounted to "economic warfare," Al-Jazeera reported. According to the OHCHR report, the measures taken by the quartet last June were unilateral, coercive and arbitrary and had a permanent effect on the union of families and the social fabric of the region as a whole. On June 5, the four Arab countries severed diplomatic, trade and travel ties with Qatar, accusing it of supporting "terrorism". Doha has repeatedly denied the allegations as "baseless," while the four countries have failed to provide any evidence for their claims.

War Crimes and Genocide in Yemen: Death, Destruction, Starvation

The Saudi-led coalition unleashed a barrage of air strikes on Yemen, slaughtering as many as 71 civilians (many of them children) within a period of 48 hours, reported the Qatar-based news network Al Jazeera on Christmas Eve. This massacre attained little attention and dissolved into history, forgotten. On the next day, December 26, the coalition targeted more sites, killing at least 68 men, women and children.

Those who are not annihilated by bombs risk dying from starvation. The Yemeni people are under blockade, enforced intentionally, with an aim to starve them into submission.

By definition a vicious war crime, it is not a newsworthy subject across the Western media sphere. Silence is particularly well kept at the U.S. news network MSNBC, found a study conducted by an investigative team of Fairness and Accuracy in Reporting (FAIR). The leading liberal channel did not air a “single segment devoted specifically to Yemen in the second half of 2017.”

Saudi Intelligence Agency Offers Unsolicited Aide to US against Iran's IRGC

The documents released by the Yemen Cyber Army after it hacked the Saudi Foreign Ministry in May show that Riyadh has persuaded the US to place more Iranian IRGC commanders under its sanctions list.
The Saudi Foreign Ministry was hacked by the Yemen Cyber Army in May, and a copy of its information was sent to FNA and another one to the whistleblower website WikiLeaks.

According to one of these documents, Mostafa bin Mohammad Habib Kowsar, the director-general of the Saudi foreign ministry for Asian States Affairs, in a letter to the deputy head of the ministry's department for bilateral relations has stated that he has received a telegraph from Khalid al-Tuwaijri, the Chief of the Royal Court of Saudi Arabia under King Abdullah, informing that Riyadh has come to realize changes in the IRGC's chain of command.

to Kowsar's letter, Tuwaijri has proposed in his cable that the names of new IRGC commanders be added to the list of those Iranians who had been sanctioned internationally or unilaterally by the US which would lead to their travel ban and freezing of their assets.

The cable has also warned that Saudi Arabia doesn’t want to play an overt role in this regard and the information should be presented to the US officials secretively.>>>

BREAKING: Southern separatist groups in Yemen begin battles against Saudi-backed government

The Saudi-backed government in Aden has called the separatist actions as a coup. Saudi Arabia intervened in Yemen to reinstate their puppets, currently holed up in Aden, to bring them back to power in Sana'a. A senior Ansarullah official announced on Saturday that the movement will unveil a newly-developed missile in the near future to change the scene of the battle in favor of Yemen in the war against the Saudi aggressors. "The missile will most likely change the military trend of the war," Abdolquds al-Shahari, a media official of Ansarullah, was quoted by the Russian Sputnik news agency as saying today. Elsewhere, he blasted the Saudi-led coalition which has launched the devastating war against Yemen for destroying all the existing mechanisms for a negotiated settlement to the crisis. "In our view, the solution to the crisis should be Yemeni-Yemeni talks without any foreign and regional pressures," Abdolquds said. Syria: Peace Proposal by US, Saudi Arabia Not Even Worth Ink

The Syrian ambassador to the United Nations and head of the government delegation to intra-Syrian peace talks has strongly rejected a proposal offered by some countries, including the US and Saudi Arabia, for the resolution of the Syrian crisis, saying the so-called peace plan is “not even worth the ink.”

Furthermore, he blasted the five countries and told reporters that the proposal was “tantamount to a black comedy.”

“All of them have participated in the bloodshed of the Syrian people,” he said of the five nations, denouncing Washington as the creator, financial supporter and protector of the ISIL Takfiri terrorist group.

“And Egypt and Saudi Arabia, given what they want with respect to Iran – and anything else that does not interfere with the United States’ interests – will pressure the Palestinians to make a deal,” he goes on to say.

Yemen Is Today's Guernica

On the market day of April 26, 1937, at the bequest of General Francisco Franco, a bombing of the Basque town of Guernica took place. It was carried out by Spain’s nationalistic government allies, the Nazi German Luftwaffe’s Condor Legion and the Fascist Italian Aviazione Legionaria. The attack, under the code name Operation Rügen, in which hundreds of people died, became a rallying cry against the brutal killing of innocent civilians.

80 years later, however, an even more criminal action is carried out against Yemeni civilians by Saudi Arabia, with the complicity of the United States. 2018 has begun with the usual deadly Saudi strikes. Recent ones in the city of Hodeida have killed 23 people and Yemenis live in fear of new strikes that do not show respect for civilians, including children.

FRANCE ACCUSES U.S., ISRAEL AND SAUDI ARABIA OF TRYING TO SPARK WAR WITH IRAN

Updated | French President Emmanuel Macron has accused the U.S., Israel and Saudi Arabia of instigating a war as their mutual foe, Iran, was rocked by a week of protests.

Macron on Wednesday joined several other world leaders to weigh in on protests that began as demonstrations against austerity measures under Iranian President Hassan Rouhani and later spilled into isolated, deadly clashes between civilians and security forces. The French leader called for dialogue with Tehran and criticized three of his international partners for pursuing what he considered bellicose policies toward a country the trio have increasingly sought to isolate and undermine in recent years.

“The official line pursued by the United States, Israel and Saudi Arabia, who are our allies in many ways, is almost one that would lead us to war,” Macron told reporters, according to Reuters.

It was “a deliberate strategy for some,” he added.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Unfortunately, of course, should these efforts fail, we are very much looking at a "false flag" to be blamed on Iran as the "justification" for an invasion.

What I would like to very seriously impress upon President Trump; President Macron, and Prince Salmon, is the very excellent results the Russian military have had in Syria recently.

They have weaponry that has been shone to work in intense battlefield conditions.

I would strongly caution that if the US, Israel, Saudi Arabia, and France attack Iran, they will be staring into abyss of such weapons, and into the faces of the successfully adept and capable Russian military personnel who know how use them.

If You’re Wondering Why US, Israel and Saudi Arabia Cooperate Against Iran, Here’s the Answer

Long before this deal, the US and Israel had already established multiple organizations and teams of both US and Israeli spy agencies charged with targeting different aspects of Iran, from its civilian nuclear program (by assassinating its nuclear scientists and sabotage) to its defensive missile systems (by creating media hue and cry in the West and the United Nations).

Nor is that all. The US and Israeli regimes have been hopelessly trying to confront with Iran, potentially military confrontation, for many decades. This includes from backing Iraq’s dictator Saddam in his 8-year war in the 1980s to shooting down Iranian passenger planes over the Persian Gulf, targeting its oil tanks, imposing illegal sanctions and restrictions on Iranian people and government, supporting anti-Iran terror groups like MKO, ISIL and Al-Qaeda, and most recently targeting Iran’s allies in the region (Iraq, Syria and Yemen) through regime-change campaigns and via terror proxy groups, and of course doing everything they can to derail the 2015 nuclear deal signed between Iran and the P5+1 (US, UK, France, Russia, China, plus Germany).

So, it should be clear by now how the new “secret deal” won’t change any hostile US or Israeli policy towards Iran. In the near-term President Trump seems to be set with trying to sabotage the P5+1 nuclear deal, and Israel is perpetually beating the war drums on Iran, and indeed any other Shi’ites they come upon, so they have limited options for anything else they can do. Much of the focus is likely to be on planning and making joint speeches about how “aggressive” Iran is being, and how super ready for war the US and Israel are, though naturally there is always a risk that any such joint operations grow from another layer of desperation into launching a war outright.

In other words, the new deal to confront Iran isn’t something new –>>>

U.S. Judge Rules Trump Administration Must Provide Detained American With Legal Counsel

By Derrick Broze

A federal judge has ruled that the U.S. government must provide a lawyer to an American citizen who is currently being held in secret after being accused of fighting with the Islamic State. The man has not been identified despite being held in a secret prison in Iraq without charge since around September 12 when he reportedly surrendered to U.S.-backed Syrian “rebels.” Meanwhile, court documents reveal that the U.S. military did not discount the possibility of coercing the man into relinquishing his American citizenship and deporting him to Saudi Arabia, where he has dual-citizenship...

Saudi Arabia releases 23 ‘corruption detainees’ after deals with govt

Saudi Arabia has released 23 of about 200 powerful individuals detained since November on corruption charges after they reached deals with the government, according to Okaz newspaper. The report on Tuesday did not name those involved in what appeared to be the first large-scale release since a group of officials was detained in a crackdown spearheaded by Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The individuals have been held at Riyadh’s luxurious Ritz Carlton hotel since early November and told to hand over assets and cash in exchange for their freedom, Reuters said.

Israel Gelfer, vice president of the World Chess Federation, or FIDE, and a FIDE Master from Israel, told Reuters on Sunday from Athens that the visas for the Israeli players “have not been issued and will not be issued.” He also asserted that the tournament would take place as planned.

Some 180 chess players were slated to participate in the world rapid and blitz chess championships in Riyadh. It is the first time that Saudi Arabia has hosted a major chess championship. The tournament includes cash prizes of up to two million dollars.

Saudi Arabia does not have diplomatic relations with Israel.

Saudi Arabia threatens to 'go nuclear' if Iran gets the bomb.

SAUDI Arabia would launch a military nuclear program immediately if Iran successfully developed atomic weapons.

While Riyadh signed an agreement with the US in 2008 stating that it would only pursue nuclear power for civil purposes, the Saudi government is likely to abandon the deal if Tehran had a nuclear bomb, reported The Times.

"There is no intention currently to pursue a unilateral military nuclear program but the dynamics will change immediately if the Iranians develop their own nuclear capability," a senior Saudi source said.

"Politically, it would be completely unacceptable to have Iran with a nuclear capability and not the kingdom."

Can anyone believe that Israel and Saudi Arabia are seeking peace in the region

In an interview with Balkans Post, Jonas E. Alexis, an expert on Israel-Palestine conflict, said Trump’s “last hope for the next election is the Israel Lobby and Christian Zionists in America.”

He also said Trump’s recognition of al-Quds as Israeli capital “can only bring violent conflicts because Israel continues to ignore international law and more specifically the moral order.”

“Can anyone with an ounce of common sense really believe that both Israel and Saudi Arabia are seeking peace in the region?”

Now, Middle East Eye reports that one of MbS’s guests has reportedly died under torture rather than fork over his money and assets to his domineering relative. He was reportedly beaten and tortured so bad his family members had difficulty recognizing his body.

America's NEXT victim - Saudi Arabia?

As 2017 draws to a close, and the war in Syria is almost over - this short doco looks at the next possible area of conflict in the Middle East. While a regional war is already taking place in Yemen and the Jerusalem issue threatens to further destabilise the Middle East - America's closest ally, Saudi Arabia, is also seeing internal troubles brewing. The culprit remains the same - the US' insatiable military industrial complex. The question remains - where will America transfer the thousands of armed and trained rebels, as they leave Syria in defeat?

Saudi King urgently calls Putin in the middle of a meeting

Vladimir Putin, in an out of character move, had interrupted his meeting of the Council for Culture and Art because of an urgent phone call.

Addressing the participants of the meeting, he apologized and said that he needed to urgently take a phone call - and that he would be right back.

Later it became known that the call came from the Saudi King Salman, with whom Putin discussed the launch of the ballistic missile in the direction of Riyadh by the Yemeni movement.

The leaders of the two states condemned the act, and Vladimir Putin called for a comprehensive investigation of the incident, noting that the Yemeni crisis must be solved exclusively by peaceful means, through national dialogue.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Note that Saudi Arabia is now turning towards Russia to resolve the crisis.

350+ academics, politicians and celebrities slam west for enabling Saudi war against Yemen

Six Nobel peace prize laureates have joined more than 350 celebrities, public servants and academics in criticizing western leaders for “stoking the flames of war” in Yemen.

In a statement marking the 1,000th day of Saudi Arabia’s war in Yemen, signatories of the #Yemencantwait petition called on the leaders of the US, France and the UK to urgently broker a ceasefire and put an end to the blockades which are preventing food and vital medical supplies from reaching desperate civilians. The statement further warned the West’s inaction will lead to the deaths of thousands of Yemeni children.

Iran to file complaint with UN over Haley’s claim

Iran will file a complaint with the United Nations over the allegation made by the US Ambassador Nikki Haley that a missile fired at Saudi Arabia from Yemen last month was supplied by the Islamic Republic, Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif told Sputnik in an email.

On December 14, Haley presented "concrete evidence" that Iran had supplied weapons, including ballistic missiles, to Yemenis, which would have been used against the coalition led by Saudi Arabia.

In her speech, the US diplomat referred to a new report by the UN Secretary General. However, according to the report, the UN chief has not yet reached definitive conclusions on the fired missile.

U.S. arms sold to Saudis are killing civilians in Yemen

U.S. arms sold to Saudis are killing civilians in Yemen. Now the Trump administration is set to sell them more
***
The attack, one of the deadliest for civilians in the coalition’s relentless air war against Iranian-backed rebels in Yemen, helped persuade the Obama administration in December to block the sale of precision-guided munitions to the Saudi military until it addresses problems with its targeting.

But the hold was lifted last month, when President Trump announced a $110-billion package of proposed military sales to the kingdom, part of an effort to shore up a regional alliance against a resurgent Iran. The decision has left many among Yemen’s increasingly desperate population feeling abandoned and betrayed.

Observer on US Threats of Anti-Iran Coalition: 'We've Heard About It Since 1979

Washington has warned Iran that it will build an "international coalition" against Tehran after presenting what it said was proof of Iranian-made weapons deliveries to Yemen. Speaking to Sputnik, Iranian political observer Ali Reza Rezahah said his country has been hearing similar, baseless threats and accusations from the US for decades.

At a press conference in a military hangar outside Washington, DC on Thursday in front of what she said were remnants of Iranian-made missiles systems used against the Saudi-led coalition by the Houthi rebels, US UN Ambassador Nikki Haley said that the United States would respond to Iran's "aggression" and support for "terrorist groups" with the creation of a new international coalition.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This reeks of the same codswallop used by President Bush to "sell" the American people on the war against Iraq.

After that, I cannot believe anything anyone in the US government has to say, and certainly not these lies about Iranian weapons capability being used against Saudi Arabia.

Iraq, Syria, Iran…Are We To Destroy Iran Next?

The Cato report linked above, The Risks of Confrontation with Iran, explains the four confrontation options. These are:

— New, tighter economic sanctions

–Challenging Iranian influence in the region

–Regime change from within

–Starting a war

The Cato conclusion is that America’s best policy option would be for further engagement with Iran to strengthen its more moderate political factions and weaken its hardliners. America used to be widely popular among younger Iranians who want peace and prosperity, not mullahs and wars. The greater threat is Washington’s military-industrial-Congress complex which so benefits from unending wars.

Webmaster's Commentary:

What the Cato Institute Report is advocating, is completely, utterly logical; this is why the American Deep State and warhawks will reject it out of hand.

And please remember: Should the US and Saudi Arabian military go to war against Iran, it is highly likely that the Russians will jump into the fray to protect it.

And as we have seen from Russia's grand finale in Syria, Russia has weapons which actually work as advertised.

Bombed into famine: how Saudi air campaign targets Yemen’s food supplies

At 11.30pm, 10 nautical miles off Yemen’s western Red Sea coast, seven fishermen were near the end of the four hours it had taken to haul their nets bulging with the day’s catch into their fibreglass boat. Suddenly, away from the illumination of the vessel’s large spotlight, one of the men spotted a black silhouette coming towards them.

Moments later a helicopter began circling overhead. The fishermen were well within the 30 nautical mile boundary they had been warned not to cross by leaflets airdropped on land by the Saudi-led coalition. But, without warning, gunfire erupted from the helicopter.

Osam Mouafa grabbed his friend, Abdullah, dragging him into a corner, curling himself into a protective ball as bullets flew through the boat. Shot in both knees, with a third bullet having grazed his thigh, Osam began to feel water rising around him. “The boat became like a sieve,” he said, sitting next to the wooden stick he now needs to walk.

Webmaster's Commentary:

These are the kinds of war crimes the US government is enabling in Yemen, with the Saudi Arabian military and government; doesn't it just make you proud to be an American?!?

Take a good, hard look, my brother and sister Americans, at what this US military intervention in the Saudi genocide of Yemen, courtesy of the Butcher of Yemen, Prince Salman, has "accomplished": and I warn you; these images are intensely graphic, but very real.

Images:
Yemeni children killed or maimed for life from Saudi bombings

Images: Yemeni children dying of malnutrition, due to Saudi/US blockade of Yemeni ports

Images: Saudi troops using depleted uranium and chemical weapons in Yemen

Images: severely malformed Yemeni infants, the victims of DU poisoning in the womb (warning: very graphic)

What a "win" in this situation means, from the perspective of Prince Salman, is a complete assassination of every Yemeni person with the audacity to still be breathing.

And to that end, he has ordered more intense bombings than he has before.

Saudis Bomb Yemen Palace as War Takes New Turn With Saleh Death

When I was a kid growning up, I never realized that this country routinely participates in war crimes; now, I live with the grim realisation that this is true every, single waking hour.

Whether President Trump had a moment of conscience (which I doubt, as he has been chatting up the US selling of bombs to Saudi Arabia as, in essence, good for American business), or was attempting to "soften" the optics of announcing that the US recognised Jerusalem as Israel's capital when he requested the Saudis to cease the Yemeni blockade, Trump calls on Saudi government to end Yemeni blockade that request fell on deaf ears.

Unless, and until, there is ia political resolution here, Yemen's future will be more assassinations; more starvation; more disease; more displacement of innocent civilians; and continued Saudi and US military destruction and devastation visited upon that country in unimaginable proportions.

Iran: US Presentation of Iranian Arms in Yemen Fabricated

The Iranian government has issued a statement Thuesday denying that a presentation earlier in the day by the US represented proof that they’d been sending arms to the Shi’ite Houthis in Yemen to resist the US-backed Saudi invasion, saying it was a ‘fabrication.”

The US presentation centered on a short-range ballistic missile fired by Yemen at the Riyadh airport, which US officials claim was Iranian-made and Iranian-sent. US Ambassador Nikki Haley talked up building a new coalition against Iran.

Iran’s Foreign Minister likened Haley’s presentation to Colin Powell’s 2003 WMD speech about Iraq, which precipitated the disastrous US invasion and occupation of Iraq.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif, is entirely correct in his assessment and analogy here.

Kushner and Saudi Crown Prince… the Wunderkinds Wreak Havoc

Trump’s rash declaration of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel is so out of whack with global opinion and decades of international legal rulings, one has to surmise that the initiative stems from dubious inspiration.

Turns out that the likely authors of the harebrained idea are Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner (36), and 32-year-old Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman (MbS).

Kushner, a dodgy property dealer with no diplomatic experience, is Trump’s unelected top aide, assigned to seal the “deal of the century” – meaning bring peace between the Palestinians and Israelis.

Like the Saudi Crown Prince, with whom Kushner is said to be close friends, the two neophytes think of themselves as “creative innovators”. Wunderkinds.

‘Netanyahu is calling shots as US beats drums of war vs Iran' – CIA veteran

The US envoy to the UN, Nikki Haley, was dancing to Israel’s tune by calling for a Western coalition against Iran while posing in front of the wreckage of a missile, former CIA officer Ray McGovern told RT, saying the spectacle was aimed at distracting attention from Yemen.

“I think that Netanyahu is calling the shots. Look, Jerusalem has just been recognized as the capital of Israel, Nikki Haley is getting on this bandwagon. She sees this as being very propitious for her, politically,” McGovern said.

The supposed proof provided by Haley of Iran’s alleged violation of the UN resolutions pales when compared to the scope of violations committed by US-backed Saudi Arabia, Iran’s archrival, McGovern said.
