Tillerson State Dept. Demanding Israel Hand Back Millions in U.S. Military Aid

Secretary of State Rex Tillerson has been pushing the Trump White House to demand that Israel give back to the United States millions of dollars in military aid, prompting pushback in the West Wing and further fueling ongoing tensions between Foggy Bottom and the White House over a range of key diplomatic issues, according to multiple sources briefed on the situation.

The Washington Free Beacon first reported on Friday that the State Department has been lobbying the White House to call for Israel to hand back some $75 million in U.S. military aid that was awarded to the Jewish state above the Obama administration’s financial request in 2016.

The Bombast of Nikki Haley

She’s a lightweight, and a warmongering globalist.

As Governor of South Carolina, and a member of that state’s House of Representatives, Haley’s foreign policy experience is absolutely nil. Nor does her degree in accounting from Clemson University inspire confidence. Her record thus far has consisted of giving voice to the neoconservative tendency in the GOP – the very people Trump defeated in the GOP primaries. The conventional Republican foreign policy clichés we’ve heard for years pour forth from her mouth like vomit from a drunk. Her recent speech before the American Enterprise Institute on the nuclear deal with Iran is a perfect case in point.

America’s Jews Are Driving America’s Wars

We don’t need a war with Iran because Israel wants one and some rich and powerful American Jews are happy to deliver. Seriously, we don’t need it.

They have been very successful at faking the Iranian threat, so much so that nearly all Republican and most Democratic congressmen as well as much of the media seem to be convinced that Iran needs to be dealt with firmly, most definitely by using the U.S. military, and the sooner the better.

And while they are doing it, the issue that nearly all the Iran haters are Jewish has somehow fallen out of sight, as if it does not matter. But it should matter.

The Russian presidential special envoy for Afghanistan expressed his distrust of "unidentified helicopters" in the country to his US counterpart.

UNITED NATIONS (Sputnik) — Russian presidential special envoy for Afghanistan Zamir Kabulov said Thursday that during a meeting in New York with his US counterpart Alice Wells, he expressed his distrust regarding the issue of "unidentified helicopters" in the north of Afghanistan that were transferring Daesh and their ammunition.

"Among the problems that we have, I identified the distrust that we have in connection with these mysterious helicopters transferring ISIL [Daesh] militants, their weapons, ammunition," Kabulov said.

Trump, We Hardly Knew Ye (Too bad your Camelot was only a brief shining moment)

If Trump was ever sincere, his election has proven that one person simply cannot fight this corrupt system, this horrid swamp. Trump the reformer, the unlikeliest of knights in shining armor, is gone. The renegade billionaire striking fear into the heart of the establishment lasted a brief shining moment, like Camelot. Trump has unfortunately proven to be exactly what his detractors claimed he was; immature, egotistical, unprincipled, vain, elitist. This certainly doesn’t make most of his critics any less offensive than they are. Indeed, that is the lone redeeming value of Trump’s administration; he continues to have all the right enemies. The threats of violence, even assassination, from every pillar of the establishment almost make one want to continue to defend him. Almost.

Trump and Netanyahu Made A Complete Fool of Themselves in Front of World Leaders

Donald Trump’s speech to the UN General Assembly of September 19th 2017 will surely go down in history as marking the final collapse of a terminally corrupt regime, where any pretence of cooperative co-existence with the world has given way to the logic of the battlefield.

And while it is too soon to decide if the Western World will follow America into this dark space, the early signs are not good. Some US allies have already given their support to Trump’s psychopathic threat to “totally destroy North Korea”

His bombastic raving was a shameless demagogic exercise. Whoever wrote it should be sacked.

The address was an embarrassment to the office he holds. It highlighted his hawkish recklessness, starting off by praising a potemkin economy, benefitting the privileged few at the expense of most others.

He praised America’s killing machine, its military might, unleashed without mercy against invented enemies - countries threatening no one, smashed for not surrendering their sovereignty to America’s.

Donald Trump Apparently Snubbed Theresa May When She Asked Him About The Iran Nuclear Deal

Donald Trump refused to tell Theresa May whether he intends to stick to a nuclear deal with Iran – despite her asking him outright, the US secretary of state has said.

The US president told journalists on Wednesday he had made a decision on the future of the historic agreement, but would not reveal his thinking to fellow world leaders at the United Nations.

In his speech to the UN, Trump said the deal – forged in 2015 between Iran and the US, the UK, France, China, Russia, and Germany in a landmark bid to prevent Iran developing nuclear weapons – was "an embarrassment to the United States".

Tillerson made the remarks on Wednesday after he and Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif met as parties to the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) at an EU-organized event on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York where EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini said that all parties to the nuclear deal agree that Iran is in compliance with the plan.

War of words ratchets up between Kim and Trump

An escalating war of words between Donald Trump and Kim Jong-Un ratcheted up a notch on Friday as the US president dubbed North Korea's leader a "madman," a day after the reclusive regime hinted it may explode a hydrogen bomb over the Pacific Ocean.

Hours earlier, in a rare personal attack, Kim took aim at Trump, branding him "mentally deranged" and warning he would "pay dearly" for his threat to destroy North Korea if challenged, uttered before the United Nations General Assembly.

The verbal clash came a day after Washington announced tougher sanctions aimed at curbing North Korea's nuclear and ballistic missile program, on the heels of a Trump speech in which he which he branded Kim "Rocket Man" and declared him to be on a "suicide mission."

Trump Alone Threatened War in His UN Address

N. Korea says Trump threat is 'sound of dog barking'

North Korean Foreign Minister Ri Yong-ho slammed U.S. President Donald Trump on Wednesday, saying his threat to destroy the nation amounted to "the sound of a dog barking."

Ri arrived in New York earlier in the day to attend the U.N. General Assembly.

Speaking to reporters in front of his hotel, he issued the regime's first response to Trump's threat a day earlier to "totally destroy" North Korea if it poses a direct threat to the U.S. or its allies.

"If he was thinking he could scare us with the sound of a dog barking, that's really a dog dream," Ri said, referencing a North Korean proverb that a procession moves even if dogs bark. In Korean, a dog dream is one that is absurd and makes little sense.

Webmaster's Commentary:

E.U. to Trump: ‘We’re Not Renegotiating Iran Nuclear Deal’ – Israel Not Happy

Now Israel has a problem. What’s good for Washington is not necessarily good for Europe…

All parties to Iran’s nuclear agreement remain in full compliance with the deal, EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini said after the Wednesday P5+1 powers’ meeting. She emphasized that the deal had potentially averted a military incursion into Iran.

“This is an agreement that prevented a nuclear program and potentially prevented a military intervention,” Mogherini said, following a meeting of ministers representing the six world powers and Iran on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.

Calling the negotiations a “frank” discussion, Mogherini said that it boiled down to all sides agreeing that no country has breached the terms of the deal. “We all agreed on the fact that there is no violation, that the nuclear program-related aspects, which is all the agreement, are being fulfilled,” she said.

Most recently, some pundits, including myself, have been warning of an impending war with Iran. But what makes the war engine run is provided by American Jews who have taken upon themselves the onerous task of starting a war with a country that does not conceivably threaten the United States. Trump Speech A Goldmine Of Hypocrisy, Propaganda And Outrageous Lies

Was Donald Trump's speech to the UN optimistic realism, Trumpian populism or a just a goldmine of hypocrisy, propaganda and outrageous lies? Trump's meeting with Bibi Netanyahu yesterday no doubt influenced this jingoistic and threatening speech. It sounded like Bibi wrote it for him. Bibi has been crying wolf about Iran's non-existent nuclear weapons program for over 20 years. This kind of speech always worked really well before the advent of the internet. International war crimes lawyer Christopher Black said Trump’s speech amounted to a stunning self-indictment. The Canadian-based attorney said the American president’s words were a shockingly explicit repudiation of UN principles and international law on several counts.

With regard to North Korea, Black said: “The US president is threatening aggression under the false guise of ‘defense.' By openly stating the US will act alone to use military force is a violation of the United Nations’ Charter. Such unilateral use of military force is also a violation of the Nuremberg principles which condemned Nazi Germany for promulgating similar baseless justifications for its aggression.”

Kelly knows threatening war comes with potentially grave consequences. Remember all of those stories about how Kelly was getting Trump under control and bringing order to the White House? Watch Trump’s speech, and look at Kelly’s reaction. It is clear who is winning the fight between order and chaos, and it isn’t the Chief of Staff.

The Trump speech was a disaster, no matter how much some in the media may bend over backward to justify it>>>

Trump Gives CIA More Autonomy on Drone Strikes

Early after taking office, President trump visited CIA headquarters, and among the topics discussed was the global drone war. President Trump came out of the tour, as he has so many tours, “impressed” with what he saw and wanting more of that.

In this case, Trump told CIA Director Mike Pompeo and other officials that he wants an even more aggressive drone posture from the CIA, and granted them broad autonomy in who to kill and when.>>>

Trump: US May Have to Totally Destroy N. Korea

President Trump’s UN General Assembly speech opened up with a familiar series of claims about how well the US is doing, bragging that the US stock markets are hitting record highs while parts of the world “are going to hell.”

The End Is Nigh

Although the sabre rattling by US political leaders and retired generals is heard daily on the American news programmes, and the American people are clearly being indoctrinated to believe that war might be necessary, America has never been less ready for a war.

The US is a very different country from what it was in 1941. It does possess a sizable military; however, that military is no match for the combined forces of China and Russia. Moreover, the US is not the industrial giant it was in 1941. Its factories have largely closed and moved overseas. What remains is not sufficient for wartime production. The American people as a whole are heavily in debt and the government itself is broke.

By any standard, the actions being taken by the US are therefore reckless indeed. The end of the world is not nigh, but the end of the world as we know it most certainly is.

Is The US State Department Waging "Open War" On The White House?

Since he was sworn in as Secretary of State on February 1, Rex Tillerson and his advisors at the State Department have made a number of statements and policy decisions that contradict President Trump's key campaign promises on foreign policy, especially regarding Israel and Iran.

Netanyahu Is Meeting Trump To Push For War With Iran

Today, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu will meet with Donald Trump at the White House and push the U.S. to withdraw from the nuclear accord with Iran. Netanyahu will present an argument that Trump already has come to accept: America’s adherence to the nuclear deal cannot solely depend on Iran’s compliance with the agreement, but also whether Iran’s other policies challenge U.S. national interests. It’s a more honest argument compared to the slogans Netanyahu has used in the past. But it is also a line that fundamentally contradicts Netanyahu’s central message of the past decades: That Iran’s nuclear program constitutes an existential threat to Israel.

Jeff Sessions should never have accepted the position of Attorney General of the United States. His leadership has proven unproductive and ineffectual.

First, he deceived President Trump by concealing his intent to recuse himself from the federal investigation into Russia’s meddling in the 2016 election. Hours after he was sworn in, Sessions began setting his recusal in motion by meeting with Department of Justice officials to discuss stepping aside from the probe. In Catalonia: A Spanish Tiananmen Square?

One of those crises that no one saw coming is about to rear its head in a very unlikely locale: Catalonia, Spain’s richest province, where the local government has scheduled an independence referendum on October 1.

Catalonia has long been a cash cow for the Madrid regime: the province is by far the richest in the country, and contributes much more to the national budget than it receives. With 16 percent of Spain’s population, the region produces 25 percent of the nation’s exports, hosts 23 percent of industry – and receives 11 percent of government expenditures. This essentially parasitic relationship perhaps accounts for the fierce resistance to the secession movement by the rather shaky regime of conservative Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy.

Removing Offensive Monuments

The eyesore presidential libraries

The social justice warrior charge to purge the United States of all monuments relating in any way to the Confederacy has been rapidly expanding to include the scourge represented by all white people all through history.

Trump can attack Russia quickly and decisively - Newt Gingrich

If Donald Trump decides to attack Russia, he will do it more decisively than any other US president would.

Thus statement comes from the conference of "Yalta International Strategy" in Kiev, by Speaker of the US Congress Newt Gingrich.

"There will be consensus and people will understand that Russia is not a neighbor who has a different point of view, but an enemy. And you need to resist it. The category of people around whom Trump surrounds himself, if they plan an attack, it will be very decisive. Trump is by nature very aggressive. If he comes to the conclusion that it is necessary to limit Putin, he will take greater risks than any other American politician, "Gingrich said.

The Neoconservatives Have Declared War On The Realists

In recent years, I've increasingly suspected that when it comes to foreign policy, the realists offer some of the most sane observations.

These suspicions were confirmed earlier this year when after the election of Donald Trump, John Mearsheimer, one of modern realism's current standard bearers, wrote in The National Interest that Trump should "adopt a realist foreign policy" and outlines a far better foreign policy agenda that what we've seen coming from Washington.

And what is this realist foreign policy? For Mearsheimer, some main tenets include:

Accepting that the US attempt at nation building in Afghanistan, Egypt, Iraq, Libya, Syria and Yemen "has been an abject failure."

"Washington [should] respect the sovereignty of other states even when it disagrees with their internal policies."

"Spreading democracy, especially by force, almost always fails."

Why Trump Is Right and the Experts Are Still Wrong about the Iran Deal

Iran is technically in compliance with its weak terms, which tells us why the deal was a historic blunder.

The experts all agree. They are very nervous about the Trump administration’s continued dithering about whether it will again certify Iran’s compliance in the nuclear deal. As the New York Times helpfully pointed out in an article about a joint letter signed by what we are told is a list of 80 of the world’s leading authorities on nuclear nonproliferation, the experts believe that Trump’s inclination to ditch the deal (the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action, or JCPOA) has nothing to do with “the merits” of the question.

Much of his national-security team reportedly seeks to persuade Trump to keep the deal, despite his publicly expressed belief that it is a mistake. But the letter from the experts should make him doubly suspicious of their arguments.

The Congress may have granted the president to take the nation to war in the cases of Afghanistan and Iraq, but they never explicitly authorized five of the seven wars currently underway.

I remember even then being surprised and unsettled by how rapidly his overseas deployments came. He was killed by a suicide bomber in Iraq on his third deployment overseas prior to his twenty-first birthday. He had selflessly tried to stop a car laden with explosives as it sped into his checkpoint, possibly preventing more deaths among the nearby group of Marines wounded in the attack.

Paul Wolfowitz, considered one of the chief architects of the Iraq War, attended my friend’s funeral at Arlington National Cemetery. More recently, Wolfowitz spent last year's anniversary of the 9/11 attack on NBC’s Meet the Press shamelessly arguing that he and the Bush administration had done nothing wrong in selling the war and were honest with the American people.

Henry Kissinger Just Gave Trump Ultimate Compliment, Shocks Trump Himself With His Words

“Donald Trump is a phenomenon that foreign countries haven’t seen,” he explained. It sure is a difference from the former administration who was walked all over all the time.

Liberals refuse to admit that President Trump has done an amazing job getting this country to come together. He is a leader that works towards helping making this country great again.

“Every country now has to consider two things. One, their perception that the previous president, or the outgoing president, basically withdrew America from international politics, so that they had to make their own assessments of their necessities,” he goes on.

Trump has given an ultimatum to our allies all around the world. Get on board or beware. And thus far, it has worked for him perfectly. This is why we elected him president in the first place.

Trump’s Republican Civil War

No matter what happens in the midterms and 2020, the Republican party will not return to the status quo.

Trump’s not becoming an independent. His deals with Democrats and Bannon’s threats are signs that the hostile takeover of the GOP is just getting started.

There is no precedent for President Trump’s political maneuverings at the expense of his own party. Only a president with no longstanding ties to the GOP or political experience would have even considered something like his astonishing ambush of the Republican congressional leadership last week, in which Trump cut a deal with the Democrats at the expense of his supposed allies.

Losing in Syria, the US will target Russia more than ever

The spectacular victory this week for Syrian state forces and allies liberating Deir ez-Zor portends an end to the war. But celebrations should be tempered by the realization that the enemies of Syria will shift their agenda for conflict elsewhere.

If we segregate the many protagonists in Syria’s conflict, the two main rivals to emerge from the melee are the United States and Russia. Russia may have gained the upper hand in Syria. But, ironically, winning the peace in Syria may unleash wars elsewhere.

Reports that US military forces have been airlifting insurgents out of harm’s way in Syria suggest that Washington is saving its terrorist assets to fight another day, perhaps in some other unfortunate country targeted for regime change.

Russian DJ Zedd: America Becoming North Korea Under Trump

Russia-born DJ and super-producer Zedd says President Donald Trump’s scandals and “insane” tweets have the potential to turn the United States into a country similar to the failed despotic state of North Korea.

Trump’s Justice Department Lets Lois Lerner Off The Hook

The Justice Department says it will not prosecute former IRS executive Lois Lerner for targeting conservative groups during the 2010 and 2012 elections.

In a letter to top Republicans on the House Ways and Means Committee, Assistant Attorney General Kevin Boyd said that after a careful review of the case, DOJ will not pursue charges against Lerner, who oversaw the IRS division that reviewed tax exempt organizations.

“After this process, the Department determined that reopening the investigation would not be appropriate based on the available evidence,” Boyd wrote Texas Rep. Kevin Brady, the chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, and Illinois Rep. Peter Roskam, the chairman of the subcommittee on tax policy.

'Trump Must Comment' on US Allegedly Rescuing Daesh Commanders From Deir ez-Zor

President Donald Trump should initiate a probe into the alleged evacuation of Daesh leaders by the US from Syria's Deir ez-Zor which was "almost 100-percent true," Russian experts said, referring to previous escape corridors for terrorists in Raqqa and the 1979-1989 war in Afghanistan.

Germany’s HUGE export secret: The one economy fact Merkel does NOT want the world to know

There has been growing scrutiny over Angela Merkel’s nation’s trade surplus, which has provoked anger from the United States’ president, but the balance sheet for 2017 will add fuel to that fire.

Over the course of the year Germany will sell more across its borders than even they expected with reports claiming exports have hit a “breathtaking rate since the financial and economic crisis”.

While firms, employees and the treasury have all seen the benefit, anger is growing from trading partners over the burgeoning account surplus.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The problem isn't that Germany makes and sells products other nations want, but that the United States no longer does!

Trump Dumps the Do-Nothing Congress

Donald Trump is president today because he was seen as a doer not a talker. Among the most common compliments paid him in 2016 was, “At least he gets things done!”

And it was exasperation with a dithering GOP Congress, which had failed to enact his or its own agenda, that caused Trump to pull the job of raising the debt ceiling away from Republican contractors Ryan & McConnell, and give it to Pelosi & Schumer.

Blue State Blues: The Week Donald Trump Restored the Republic

When he rescinded the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program and invited Congress to replace it, Trump returned the legislative power to its rightful branch. And when he struck a surprise deal with Democrats to lift the debt ceiling until December, he restored — however briefly — the basic comity necessary for our system to function.

Both of these moves were controversial — and confusing. Conservatives wondered, for good reason, whether Trump had rescinded DACA only to let Congress pass a blanket amnesty for its beneficiaries. And they asked themselves what had become of their party’s hopes to rein in the national debt, which helped fuel the Tea Party wave of 2010.

How Kim Jong-un would escape in caves if a nuclear war occurs

This is a really cheesy story focusing on how Kim Jong-un and his favorite stash of Swiss Cheese will be very difficult for the US to take out.

NORTH Korean dictator Kim Jong-un will escape to a vast complex of underground tunnels if a nuclear war breaks out — with a huge supply of his favourite cheese.

Aiden Foster-Carter, an expert on North Korea and honorary senior research fellow in Sociology and Modern Korea at Leeds University, said that Kim Jong un is unlikely to go without his favourite treats in the event of war.

He added that the dictator had to retreat from public life after eating too much Emmental cheese after receiving a huge shipment of it from Switzerland.

When asked about whether Kim will stockpile his favourite cheese, he added: “I’m sure that wherever he goes he’ll be provided for.”
