Foreign minister to leave for visits to Austria, Kazakhstan, Holland, and Denmark as part of new widening foreign policy

This time Lieberman will visit Austria, Kazakhstan, Holland, and Denmark, mainly in order to discuss the topic of Iran.

Lieberman says he wants to "invest effort in nations that have not received attention from Israel until now".

Thus, on Wednesday he will ask Austria to quit its cooperation with Tehran in the field of oil refining, because the companies involved in this market are run by the Ayatollah regime.

Webmaster's Commentary:

What is interesting, in Leiberman's pilgrimage, is where he's not going, and that is to Russia and China, which hold the keys to the votes toward (or vetoes against) more sanctions against Iran at the Security Council.

And if the real objective here is "... "to bolster Israel's status by widening the wingspan of its foreign policy", it could make a great start in that direction by lifting the siege of Gaza.
