White House Fires Back After It Says 'Media Twisted' Words To Claim Quid Pro Quo With Ukraine
White House Chief of Staff Mick Mulvaney is furious with the media after he said in a press conference that President Donald Trump held funds from the Ukraine until they agreed to investigate corruption.
The media twisted that into Mulvaney admitting that the president was engaged in a quid pro quo with the Ukrainian president.
“Once again, the media has decided to misconstrue my comments to advance a biased and political witch hunt against President Trump,” he said.
