The President is not a representative of the political establishment class," he said.

"So for whatever reason the people have made a decision that they want to eject him.

"I think there are elements inside of Washington, also inclusive in the White House, that are not necessarily abetting the President's interests or his agenda."

Interviewer George Stephanopoulos asked him who he was referred to, but Mr Scaramucci said only that he had already "named some names".

He added that the President needed "more loyalists" to implement his plans.

UK AT WAR? ‘Britain will be dragged in to any war with Kim Jong-un’s North Korea’

The UK would most likely join the US in fighting the regime if North Korea started a war, Trevor Taylor, professorial research fellow in defence management at the highly-respected Royal United Services Institute (RUSI) think tank, said.

He said if a war in the region started due to North Korean aggression then the UK would be “obliged” to support.

However, if the US started it, then the UK would be unlikely to join.

Fired NSC Staffer’s Memo Outlined Vast Coup Attempt Against US Government

The memo at the heart of the latest blowup at the National Security Council paints a dark picture of media, academics, the “deep state,” and other enemies allegedly working to subvert U.S. President Donald Trump, according to a copy of the document obtained by Foreign Policy. The seven-page document, which eventually landed on the president’s desk, precipitated a crisis that led to the departure of several high-level NSC officials tied to former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn. The author of the memo, Rich Higgins, who was in the strategic planning office at the NSC, was among those recently pushed out.

Bitcoin blasts through $4000 as new suckers buy into the “promised land” of digital fiat currency backed by nothing

Almost no one buying Bitcoin has any idea how it actually works. They’re just ejaculating money at it under the absurd premise that it will keep going up forever. Of course, none of them have stopped to think about the fact that Bitcoin “gains” aren’t real until you sell your Bitcoin. Before you sell it, all you’ve really bought is an entry on a shared digital ledger called the “blockchain.” And only a very tiny percentage of people can sell their Bitcoins without crashing the value of the entire market, which means — by definition — perhaps 98% of those who think they are getting rich are actually getting screwed in the end. They will be the ones left holding Bitcoin as it plunges toward zero one of these days.

4 Examples of Monumental Hypocrisy in Health and Healthcare

Op-Ed by Paul A. Philips

Hypocrisy in health and healthcare runs rife throughout the Big Pharma-owned and -controlled medical pharmaceutical establishment. This hypocrisy may be downright unethical. Hypocrites include those self-serving doctors who want the largest slice of the pie that they can get from a healthcare system that places profits over the genuine welfare concern of people. Like other healthcare hypocrites, these doctors will contradict themselves in a number of health-related scenarios...

North Korea On Standby To Launch At Mainland USMac Slavo

According to state run propaganda media, North Korea is on standby to launch a missile at the mainland United States. Responding to President Donald Trump’s recent warnings to the rogue regime in this manner has just flung tensions to heights never seen – not even during the Cold War.

North Korea took its turn Saturday to raise tensions in the back-and-forth escalation toward war with President Trump and the United States. The state-run newspaper said that North Korean dictator Kim Jung Un’s revolutionary army is “capable of fighting any war the U.S. wants.” The same newspaper also noted that the Paektusan army is now “on the standby to launch fire into its mainland, waiting for an order of final attack.” Unfortunately, it is possible that we will witness World War 3 and these heightened tensions between the U.S. and North Korea could be the catalyst.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This has been confirmed by other media, including zerohedge.com; express.co.uk; and the nypost.com.

With General Dunford making the "grand tour" of South Korea, Japan, and China, I am hoping and praying that a peaceful solution can ultimately be found.

But if Kim Jung-Un actually goes ahead, and follows through on his threats, all bets are off for a peaceful resolution of this issue.

When The Grid Goes Down...

Authored by Jeremiah Johnson (nom de plume of a retired Green Beret of the United States Army Special Forces) via ReadyNutrition.com,

Let’s just say that the unthinkable becomes the real and happening. Let’s take this article and go over it. This will be a segment in three parts, the next ones being immediate actions taken at work and at home. I’m hitting on traveling first, as there are so many vacationers jaunting around happily over the landscape. All kidding aside, traffic is congested during the summer, extending traveling time on the commutes. Let’s game the scenario, and here it is.

Here’s the scenario:

Webmaster's Commentary:

IF in fact this information is correct, in terms of North Korea's capabilities, do not think, for a moment, that the US Deep State is not capable of pulling off a false flag of this nature domestically, do be blamed on North Korea as the justification for war against it.

That being said, the logical, level-headed prepping concepts presented here are very sound, and should be followed through upon, if you want to survive any kind of catastrophe, and are on the road, helpless to move.

Just as a reminder, the most powerful weapon tested by North Korea to date, is too weak to create a destructive EMP.

Trump Warns Xi: Trade War With China Begins Monday

As if there weren't enough geopolitical and social stress points in the world to fill a lifetime of "sleepy, vacationy" Augusts, late on Friday night President Trump spoke to Chinese President Xi Jinping and told him that he's preparing to order an investigation into Chinese trade practices next week, according to NBC. Politico confirms that Trump is ready to launch a new trade crackdown on China next week, citing an administration official, a step that Trump delayed two weeks ago under the guidance of his new Chief of Staff Gen. Kelly, but now appears imminent. It is also an escalation which most analysts agree will launch a trade war between Washington and Beijing.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The thing I hate most about trade wars, is their capabilities of morphing into shooting wars.

I would like to hope President Trump has the presence of mind to understand that this is precisely where we should not be going with China right now, particularly with the simmering, quasi-war state of hostilities over North Korea.

Top U.S. General Readies Military Plan for North Korea, but Pushes for Diplomacy

The Pentagon’s top military officer said here Sunday the focus remains on finding a diplomatic solution to the North Korea missile crisis, even as the military works up viable options in case they become necessary.

Amid heated rhetoric between President Donald Trump and North Korea’s rogue leader, Kim Jong Un, the military is quietly supporting Secretary of State Rex Tillerson’s effort to use diplomatic and economic pressure to avert war.

“As a military leader, I have to make sure that the president does have viable military options in the event that the diplomatic and economic pressurization campaign fails,” said Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Joe Dunford in his first public remarks since the crisis escalated with North Korea’s launch of a second intercontinental ballistic missile late last month.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I have to wonder just how real is that part of this headline which states that the General"... Pushes for Diplomacy" and how much of that is simply for domestic Unhinged, Surveilled States of America consumption.

Buddhist extremism, despite a clampdown, spreads in Myanmar

In May, Myanmar’s Sangha Maha Nayaka Committee, a state appointed organization representing over 500,000 Buddhist monks known as Ma Ha Na, issued a controversial order against the Ma Ba Tha nationalist group to remove its signboards across the country.

The committee’s order came in response to Ma Ba Tha’s association with anti-Muslim activities and amid calls from Aung San Suu Kyi’s elected government that the Buddhist nationalist group was provoking instability. Ma Ha Na also accused Ma Ba Tha of acting against basic Sangha principles, rules and regulations.

The birth control pill is killing women, but no one’s warning them of the risk

The truth is, “(t)he relative risk for thrombosis in patients who take COCs [combined oral contraceptives] is three- to five-fold higher compared with that of nonusers.” Thrombosis means blood clots that can cause stroke, heart attack, blindness, brain damage, and death. Still, women are not warned about the risk of blood clots with their daily steroidal hormone pill. This is serious and senseless deception and negligence.

According to a Canadian Broadcasting Company report in June 2013, birth control pill manufacturer Bayer paid out in excess of $1 billion to settle thousands of birth control pill lawsuits in the United States. Those settlements were all related to two low-dose contraception pills, Yaz and Yasmin. At the same time, an investigation by the CBC revealed that pharmacists suspected the deaths of 23 Canadian women were attributable to those two same pills.

Did media miss real story in North Korea’s war of words?

The error, according to 38 North, lies in an inept English translation of a statement made by North Korean Foreign Minister Ri Yong Ho at the ASEAN Regional Forum meeting on July 26.

The English translation was: “We will, under no circumstances, put the nukes and ballistic rockets on the negotiating table. Neither shall we flinch even an inch from the road to bolstering up the nuclear forces chosen by ourselves, unless the hostile policy and nuclear threat of the US against the DPRK are fundamentally eliminated.”

38 North says the splitting of the sentences raises several questions as to what was covered under the qualifier of “unless” the hostile policy is removed. But 38 North says the answer can be found in the Korean-language version in which the formula was presented as one sentence, not two.

Webmaster's Commentary:

It's amazing what one mistranslation from a foreign language, into English, can do to people's interpretation of what actually was said.

Right now, that mistranslation could well translate into a shooting war between the US, China, and North Korea.

Trump and Mad Dog Mattis: Ultimatum to North Korea, Miscalculations Could Lead to Catastrophic War

On Wednesday, Defense Secretary Mattis issued an ultimatum to North Korea, saying “cease any consideration of actions that would lead to the end of its regime and destruction of its people.”

His warning came in response to Pyongyang suggesting plans to fire ballistic missiles to within 30 – 40 km from Guam by mid-August.

On Thursday, Trump said his “fire and fury” warning perhaps wasn’t “tough enough.” The DPRK should “get (its) act together (or it’ll) be in trouble like few nations have ever been.” Its leadership should be “very, very nervous” if it does anything harmful to America or its allies.

Kim Jong-un “disrespected our country greatly. He’s not getting away with it.”

On Friday, China warned Washington, saying if it tries to forcefully topple North Korea’s government, it’ll intervene to stop it.

It repeated calls for calm and diplomatic outreach – easing tensions, not escalating them further. China’s People’s Daily said

Webmaster's Commentary:

Right now, China is behaving like the adult in the room on this issue, with this editorial.

But I have to really wonder; just what kind of power does he wield over Kim Jung Un, to prevent him from carrying out his threat to bomb the mainland USA?!?

"Dear President Trump: What The F**k Business Is Venezuela Of Ours?"

Ten Questions for Trump

Are you willing to “own” the problems in Venezuela?
What does “necessary” mean?
Did US nation building in Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan work?
Did not Vietnam turn out OK starting the moment we left?
Did the US intervene to stop hyperinflation in Zimbabwe? Argentina?
Are there not more repressive regimes in Africa?
What’s different about Venezuela?
By any chance is this about oil?
Other than oil, what the F business is Venezuela of ours?
Regardless of your threats and concerns, when has US nation building ever worked?

I thank you in advance for your answers.

Bonus Question

Dear Mr. President, I almost forgot: How do you propose we pay for a military solution in Venezuela?

Unless you can provide answers, I strongly suggest we do not need another quagmire, we cannot afford another quagmire, and we should stay the F* out of it.

I voted for you and would appreciate some answers.

“It was an intentional terrorist attack,” he concluded. There has been no confirmation from authorities that the car plowing incident was any way related with terrorism.

Same science status quo that claims “women have more active brains than men” simultaneously insists men and women have no differences at all

According to the political correctness police, there’s absolutely no difference whatsoever between men and women, and gender is just a social construct. But a new paper published in the Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease begs to differ, making the everyone-would-be-crying-sexist-if-it-favored-men claim that women have “more active brains” than men, at least when it comes to areas of the brain associated with emotion (take that, you evil patriarchy!).

Researchers from the Amen Clinics in Newport Beach, California, say they compared tens of thousands of brain scans from nine different clinics to make this determination. And while news blips citing the study seem to be emphasizing the “more active brains” part about women, what the study actually found – and this is very pertinent with regards to all of the gender madness currently sweeping the Western world – is that the brains of women tend to function much differently than the brains of men.

Aussie researchers lift the lid on USB "crosstalk" vulnerability

Research carried out by the University of Adelaide has found that 90 per cent of computers and external USB hubs leaked information to external USB devices thanks to a kind of electronic "crosstalk" between connected components.

More than 50 different computers and external USB hubs were tested showing that sensitive information such as keystrokes can be captured.

The leak was identified through the use of a modified cheap novelty plug-in lamp with a USB connector to read every key stroke from the adjacent keyboard USB interface. The data was sent via Bluetooth to another computer.

According to research associate at the University of Adelaide’s School of Computer Science, Dr. Yuval Yarom, this "channel-to-channel crosstalk leakage" is analogous to water leaking from pipes.

“The Next WannaCry” Vulnerability is Here – Let’s Stop it before it’s too Late

This Tuesday, Microsoft released a security patch including 48 fixes, 25 of which are defined as “critical”. While Microsoft updates happen every month, this one reveals an especially dangerous vulnerability – CVE-2017-8620. Behind this dull name hides a severe flaw affecting all current versions of Windows, which enables attackers to spread a contagious attack between computers in the network.

It is not very often that such a volatile vulnerability, providing hackers with full control over entire networks, is discovered. The last time such a vulnerability was disclosed was in March 2017, when another Microsoft security patch fixed the “EternalBlue” exploit. Two months after this patch was released, the WannaCry campaign erupted, making use of the EternalBlue exploit to spread in one of the most infectious cyber-attacks we have ever seen.

Revealed: The naughty tricks used by web ads to bypass blockers

Instart Logic describes itself as a content delivery service and much of that content happens to be advertising. The California-based biz is determined to help its clients present online ads despite the technical choices made by internet users to avoid that content – adverts bypassing ad blockers, in other words.

The company's technology disguises third-party network requests so they appear to be first-party network requests. This allows ad services used by website publishers to place cookies and serve ads that would otherwise by blocked by the browser's same-origin security model.

Raymond Hill, who maintains the popular uBlock Origin content blocker, on Wednesday updated his uBO-Extra add-on software to prevent Instart Logic's code from bypassing uBlock Origin.

Trapped under ice with no oxygen for months, goldfish turn to booze. And can you blame 'em?

Scientists have discovered how goldfish and their wild ilk survive months of winter in frozen-over lakes of oxygen-free water. The answer is alcohol – the cause of, and solution to, all of life's problems.

There aren't many vertebrates that can survive without oxygen. However, goldfish, and their wild relatives, the crucian carp, share a genetic mutation that allows them to anaerobically convert excess lactic acid into ethanol and flush it out of their gills. The fish are thought to be the only known vertebrates with this talent – the more's the pity.

Mueller’s Targets Face Financial Strain

Former Trump campaign chairman Paul Manafort parted ways with WilmerHale, the law firm defending him, earlier this week.

That was largely because Bob Mueller’s 16-lawyer Russia probe—which is targeting him—has shifted its focus and is drilling down on tax issues, which aren’t WilmerHale’s specialty. But the parting of ways with WilmerHale was also in part because Manafort’s finances are increasingly strained, according to sources familiar with the situation.

India Army Moves Troops of Sukna-Based 33 Corps to India-China Border

A bulk of the troops of the Sukna-based 33 Corps have been or are in the process of being moved to the Indo-China frontier in Sikkim even as the controversy over the Doklam plateau at the India-Bhutan-China tri-junction continues to surface from time to time.

Eastern Command army sources revealed that all three divisions under the 33 Corps, which is stationed in Sukna, near Siliguri in West Bengal, have been deployed on the Sino-Indian border.

The troop movement from Sukna began about 20-25 days ago. The most important and vital elements of the corps have moved up and taken position in designated "Op Areas".

The Movement “Has More to Do With Posturing”

The troops are at varying depths of 20 kms to 500 metres from the India-China border in north and east Sikkim. Some units were given four days' written notice to move to the upper reaches while others have been handed out as little as six hours' notice to move up.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This may be attributed to "posturing", on India's side, but such a move looks about as serious as a heart attack to me, understanding that the Chinese have threatened India with a military operation, if they don't yield the land China claims is actually theirs.

North Korea displays submarine-based missiles for first time as nuclear tensions with US rise

North Korea displayed its submarine-launched ballistic missiles for the first time on Saturday ahead of a massive military parade in the capital, Pyongyang.

Weapons analysts said they believed some of the other missiles on display were new types of intercontinental ballistic missiles.

North Korea warned the United States on Saturday to end its "military hysteria" or face retaliation as a US aircraft carrier group steamed towards the region and the reclusive state marked the 105th anniversary of the birth of its founding father.

The North Korean ceremony began with a massive parade of military personnel and hardware through Pyongyang on Saturday morning to mark the birthday of Kim Il-sung, the revered founder of the nation.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The question is not Kim Jung Un's military parades, and both his and President Trump's bombast which concerns me here; it is what each leader is actually prepared to do, in this latest war of words which may well escalate to a shooting war which concerns me, particularly in light of the fact that Mike and I live very close to a first strike target, which China can actually hit!

Even Precise US Strike Would Prompt North Korean Retaliation: There Is No 'Limited War' Option With North Korea

As the rhetoric continues to pick up around North Korea, the talk of military options, or worse the “military solution” increasingly appears to center around the conceit that there is some possibility for a limited war, or some other way that the US could make a quick attack on North Korea and fix everything militarily.

Experts, however, broadly agree that’s simply not the case. North Korea has spent the last 60+ years worrying about a US attack, and preparing to retaliate with everything that they have. This retaliation, even before factoring in North Korea’s nuclear program would destroy much of South Korea, and likely kill upwards of a million people.

That threat of massively destructive retaliation was always the ace up North Korea’s sleeve that kept them from getting attacked in the first place, sort of a mutually-assured destruction build around conventional arms and the fact that the huge, and economically important, city of Seoul is so close by.

Webmaster's Commentary:

There are no good military options here; the only option which makes sense is to get North Korea, China, Japan, South Korea, and the US back to a negotiating table where the existing armistice would be replaced by a true peace treaty, guaranteeing freedom of unsanctioned trade, in exchange for Kim Jung Un letting go of his nuclear weapons program.

Of course, THAT... would be logical.

Similar To Morphine: The Weed Every Prepper Should Know About

During a SHTF situation, pain could become an annoyance for some, but unbearable for others. If doctors are scarce and medicine becomes even scarcer, this one little weed, found all over North America and similar to morphine, could be a saving grace.

Lactuca Virosa is the scientific term for the morphine-like plant, and many people have used it in place of addictive prescription pain medication, like opioids. The plant is called “wild lettuce,” and it’s fairly abundant. Known as a weed to most, it gets plucked from lawns and tossed in compost piles, but it’s important to know what it can do, and how safe it actually is.

North Korea versus the United States: Who are the Demons? North Korea Lost 30% of Its Population as a Result of US Bombings in the 1950s

The American people should, in the words of Vietnam War Veteran Brian Willson “place themselves in the position of people living in targeted countries. That North Korea, a nation of 24 million people, i.e., one-twentieth the population of the U.S., many of them poor, a land slightly larger in area than the U.S. state of Pennsylvania, continues to be one of the most demonized nations and least understood, totally perplexes the Korean people.”

What most people in America do not know –and which is particularly relevant when assessing the “threats” of the DPRK to World peace– is that North Korea lost thirty percent of its population as a result of US led bombings in the 1950s.

Facing Defeat in Syria, the “Islamic State” (ISIS) Inexplicably Expands Globally

Facing defeat in Syria as government forces backed by its Russian and Iranian allies close in on the terrorist organization, stripping it of territory it seized, it has managed to spread far beyond Syria’s borders, establishing itself in Libya, Afghanistan, and even as far as Southeast Asia where it has seized an entire city in the Philippines’ south, and carried out attacks and conducting activities everywhere from Indonesia and Malaysia to allegedly Thailand’s deep south.

It should be remembered, according to Western governments and their media, the territory ISIS holds in Syria is allegedly providing it with the summation of its financial resources and thus the source of its fighting capacity. According to official statements, the US and its European allies allege that ISIS fuels its fighting capacity with “taxes” and extortion as well as black market oil sales – all of which are derived from territory it holds in Syria.

FIRED NSC STAFFER’S MEMO OUTLINED VAST COUP ATTEMPT AGAINST US GOVERNMENT

Editor’s Note: A copy of the NSA memo obtained by Foreign Policy, “POTUS & Political Warfare” may be viewed here.

The full memo, dated May 2017, is titled “POTUS & Political Warfare.” It provides a sweeping, if at times conspiratorial, view of what it describes as a multi-pronged attack on the Trump White House.

Ditching the dollar: Russia's long-term response to Washington

Russia will respond to new US sanctions with the help of an unexpected decision: Moscow intends to reduce dependence on the dollar and American payment systems.

New US sanctions against Russia have become the largest since early 2014. The law, signed by US President Donald Trump, hits the energy sector, which is extremely important for the Russian economy. In addition, the document provides for the possibility of imposing sanctions on the state debt of the Russian Federation in six months, and this would be a serious blow to the country's economy.

Therefore, a response to sanctions is necessary, and we should not talk about expanding the food embargo.

And there’s been a substantial increase in the sale of a particular item they don’t sell much of — a so-called radiation antidote called potassium iodide.

Lord Lawson was right to condemn Al Gore's film, says TIM NEWARK

Following Lord Lawson’s Radio 4 interview on the Today programme, the Green Party co-leader Jonathan Bartley condemned the BBC for giving any airtime to the former chancellor, who now heads the Global Warming Policy Foundation.

The Green Party claimed it was “false balance” even though Lawson was given half the time allowed to former US vice-president Al Gore to plug the sequel to his climate change propaganda movie An Inconvenient Truth.

Scientist and broadcaster Jim al-Khalili went further, saying: “There should be no debate any more about climate change.”

No debate at all? That sounds a very extreme response to Lawson’s reasonable comments. There should always be debate about policies that are costing every one of us hundreds of pounds every year in extra taxes on our fuel bills to subsidise a renewable energy industry that may well have no effect on climate change over the next century.

That is the real Inconvenient Truth.

City Of Chicago Offers Advice In Event Of Nuclear Attack

What should one do in the event of a nuclear attack?

Not long ago, it seemed like an abstract question. That was before President Trump and North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, who have been escalating military threats recently.

Just today, Trump said his earlier warning about bringing “fire and fury” upon the communist nation may not have been tough enough. When asked what could be tougher, he said, “Well you’ll see.”

The threat of nuclear war is much scarier that the reality, as the New York Times notes in this report.

Still …

The City Of Chicago, as it happens, has a whole page dedicated to the topic on its website.
