WHY BIG BUSINESS PROFIT IS THE REAL REASON BEHIND NSA SURVEILLANCE

The US Surveillance State is scrambling to save itself in the wake of a federal ruling that declared the bulk collection of metadata under a provision of the Patriot Act, which is set to expire on June 1, illegal . But the reason for so many ‘experts’ touting the benefits of surveillance, goes beyond the basic desire to spy on Americans. Because, as you might imagine, “terrorism” is big business.

Rand Paul's Perversion: Paul Condones His Employee's Assault On Reporter With Bodily Fluids

This story is disgusting on so many levels. The other day an extremely creepy video surfaced where the head of Rand Paul's New Hampshire campaign, David Chesley, didn't like an independent journalist tracking Rand's appearances so he went up and slathered saliva all over the persons' camera. The corporate media trivialized this as if it's merely odd or quirky, but actually, it's assault. Anyone confused about this can learn what assault is by going up to ANY COP OR POLITICIAN AND LICKING THEM OR THEIR PROPERTY. You'd be in jail so quick it'd make your head spin. You'd probably get hurt too. A query of 'arrested for licking' reveals countless criminal cases nationwide. The fact that Rand Paul takes this lightly and condones it speaks volumes about him.

MSM Claims Assad Official Arrested For Coup, Proved Wrong Hours Later

By Brandon Turbeville

Every week it seems the Western mainstream media devises yet another propaganda narrative to be launched at the Syrian government and Bashar al-Assad. As one can easily see, each attempt becomes more and more desperate.

After numerous attempts at portraying Assad as guilty of having committed atrocities against innocent civilians, using chemical weapons, and dropping barrel bombs, the media has since taken to narratives portraying the Syrian president as losing his grip on the Syrian government as well as suffering huge territorial losses...

New investigation of IRS Obamacare fraud announced by Senate

Sen. Rob Portman (R-Ohio), the chairman of the Senate's Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations (PSI), notified the HHS secretary, Sylvia Burwell, that his PSI has launched an investigation into the alleged mismanagement of the so-called Obamacare exchanges. Portman's letter to Burwell noted his concerns over reported incidents of fraudulent information being processed in order to calculate healthcare subsidies. It is believed the process has been unfair to those Americans who bought insurance through the numerous exchanges and that taxpayer dollars are being misappropriated, such as illegal aliens having completely free healthcare coverage.

Total global debt crossed a troubling event horizon by going past the $200 trillion mark last year. Why Chicago’s Bonds Are Junk

Illinois’s domination by public unions has the state dancing on the edge of fiscal freefall. The state Supreme Court ruled last week that Springfield can’t alter pension benefits, prompting Moody’s this week to downgrade the debt of the city, its public schools and park district all to junk status. Now the Chicago Teachers Union wants to make another contribution to the collapse.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Here we go again, blaming the victims. The reason the pensions are in trouble is that back in 2008, the Wall Street ratings agencies rated those mortgage-backed securities as triple-A, which made it legal for pension funds to invest in them. When the fraud imploded, the pensions were bled dry by the losses. But nobody wants to point the finger of blame at Wall Street, so the teachers (police, firefighters) who had nothing whatsoever to do with the problem, get the blame!

FLASHBACK - A GALLERY OF FAKE DEAD BIN LADENS

Seymour Hersh Succumbs To Disinformation — Paul Craig Roberts

Seymour Hersh has published a long account of the homicide of Osama bin Laden:
http://www.lrb.co.uk/v37/n10/seymour-m-hersh/the-killing-of-osama-bin-...
Hersh concludes that the Obama regime’s account of the killing of bin Laden is a total fabrication except for the fact that bin Laden was killed.

I do not believe Hersh’s story for three reasons. One reason is that bin Laden was suffering from disease that no one can survive for a decade. His death was widely reported in 2001. One reason is that even Hersh’s “true” account of “what really happened” is contradicted by eye witnesses and the initial Pakistani TV interviews of eye witnesses. One reason is that Hersh’s story is too convoluted for an assassination raid, a routine event. He exposes lies within lies, indecision within decision, payoffs within payoffs, and reports such a huge number of people with advance knowledge of the raid that it cannot possibly have been kept a secret.

In Stunning U-Turn, NBC Retracts Story That Obama Lied About bin Laden

It would appear someone at NBC News got a rather large tap on the shoulder. In what is a stunning reversal of their confirmation that President Obama lied and lying about the killing of bin Laden, NBC News has updated their original story - that "two intelligence sources tell NBC News that the year before the U.S. raid that killed Osama bin Laden, a 'walk in' asset from Pakistani intelligence told the CIA where the most wanted man in the world was hiding" - to this - "Sources say that while the asset provided information vital to the hunt for bin Laden, he was not the source of his whereabouts." As Slate concludes, while NBC’s story doesn’t use the word correction or retraction, that’s what this appears to be.

The Hegelian Dialectic is a philosophical approach that in principle explains how human beings progress toward a better and more egalitarian condition but in practice provides the power elite with a strategy for controlling society.

Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel (August 27, 1770 -- November 14, 1831) was among the most consequential philosophers of the Age of Enlightenment. His was heavily influenced by Plato, whose social ideal was rule by an elite composed of philosopher-kings. Though Hegel may not have intended to provide a Platonic methodology for the modern-day control of the many by the few, that is how his insights have been used.

The papers say: ‘The operation would require a broad range of air, maritime and land capabilities. These could include: intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance; boarding teams; patrol units (air and maritime); amphibious assets; destruction air, land and sea, including Special Forces units.’

1,063 Documented Examples of Barack Obama’s Lying, Lawbreaking, Corruption, Cronyism, Hypocrisy, Waste, Etc.

Every President, every politician, and every human being tells lies and engages in acts of hypocrisy. But Barack Obama does these things to a far greater degree than anyone else that I have ever known of. His campaign promises were so much better sounding than anyone else's – no lobbyists in his administration, waiting five days before signing all non-emergency bills so people would have time to read them, putting health care negotiations on C-SPAN, reading every bill line by line to make sure money isn't being wasted, prosecution of Wall St. criminals, ending raids against medical marijuana in states where it's legal, high levels of transparency. Obama's promises of these wonderful things sounded inspiring and sincere. They sounded so much better than the promises of any other President. So when Obama broke these promises, it felt so much worse than when other Presidents broke their promises.

Tell Congress to Stop Obama's Secret Trade Deals

The Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) is a new "free trade" agreement being negotiated between the U.S. and 11 other Pacific Rim countries. Like other Free Trade Agreements, this one is basically a permanent power grab by corporations and financial companies that will make it impossible for the citizens of countries joining the TPP to choose what laws and rules they want to live under.

For Americans, it would lead to increased gas exports and increased imported foods, while undermining our domestic laws and increasing the financialization of nature.

TPP was started under George W. Bush but is being pushed — hard — by President Obama. In fact, a bill in Congress would give him "Fast Track" authority for the negotiating, meaning that he, and whoever comes after him, would be able to negotiate as desired without oversight by Congress. Isn't the reason our constitution created three federal branches — executive, judicial and legislative — to ensure checks and balances?
