Speaking next to Jordan’s King Abdullah, Donald Trump said that the chemical weapons attack changed his position on Syria. He seemed to believe the fake news story that it was the Syrian government that dropped chemical weapons, rather than the forensically realistic explanation provided by Russia which explained that an illegal chemical weapons depot, where terrorists hoarded their explosives, was hit during an airstrike.

When asked about his sudden about face, Trump relied,

“I do change, and I am flexible. I am proud of that flexibility”.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Ivanka Trump, a word, please, and I am begging you on this: do not allow your dad, our President to "swallow the Koolaid" on this issue.

In a Russian brokered deal in 2013, all of Syria's chemical weapons were destroyed.

Syria's chemical weapons were destroyed

And the big, logical question is, qui bono?!? Who benefits?!?

And it surely as heck is not Bashar Al Assad, when Rex Tillerson said a couple of days ago, that Assad could remain, and our major headache in Syria was ISIS.

So who benefits?!?

1. The jihadists who were armed by the previous administration, who did this as a "false flag" to get your Dad angry enough against the Al-Assad government to start talking regime change.

2. The war hawks in this administration who want to see the US military do a decap strike against Damascus, which will almost inevitably lead to war with Russia.

And Ms. Trump, this would be a very lousy idea, and for the following reasons; in its current state, the US military does not have the troop strength; the weaponry; the manufacturing; or the money to insure a positive outcome to a war against Russia over Syria.

The weapons manufacturing culture in this country has to change; it should not longer be acceptable to deliver weapons so behind the curve that by the time they are field deployed, they are obsolete, and have incredible cost over-runs attached.

Russia and China are getting far better value for their weaponry dollars than does the US military, and I have one big, fat example to share with you on this; the F-35.

The Pentagon's New List of F-35 Bugs Is Predictably Awful

Our American military should no longer have to put up with flying turkeys like this, and if corporate heads need to roll to cure this, so be it!!

Senate approves ‘nuclear option,’ clears path for Neil Gorsuch Supreme Court nomination vote

The Senate has altered the longstanding practice for confirming Supreme Court justices after Democrats today blocked the nomination of Judge Neil Gorsuch.

In order to bypass Democrats’ opposition, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., first invoked the so-called nuclear option. The Senate then voted to change Senate precedent on voting on Supreme Court cloture votes from the 60-vote threshold to a simple majority of 51 votes.

Republicans on their own did not have enough votes to end the floor debate on Gorsuch’s nomination, a move known as cloture, under the current rules requiring 60 votes. The first Senate vote to end debate (cloture) on Gorsuch's nomination failed with a vote of 55-45.

CrowdStrike, First Experts To Affirm Trump, Russia Election Hack Theory, Renege Their Claims

CrowdStrike, a group that was the first to affirm that Russia could have played a part in President Trump winning the 2016 U.S. election, have now reneged on some of their claims, Daily Mail has reported.

CrowdStrike claimed back in June 2016 that Putin’s men were responsible for hacking the Democratic National Committee. This finding was used by the FBI, CIA and other top intelligence agencies in their investigations into Trump and Russia. It turns out, however, that there may not be as much truth to the claim than originally thought.

This could be a huge blow to the case of the Russians helping The Donald win the election, as CrowdStrike, unlike any U.S. intelligence agency, was permitted exclusive access to DNC computers, which in turn provided American government investigators with the fuel they needed to proceed with their probe on a link between the Kremlins and the president.

Reports in unmasking controversy were detailed, had info about 'everyday lives'

The intelligence reports at the center of the Susan Rice unmasking controversy were detailed, and almost resembled a private investigator’s file, according to a Republican congressman familiar with the documents.

"This is information about their everyday lives," Rep. Peter King of New York, a member of the House Intelligence committee said. "Sort of like in a divorce case where lawyers are hired, investigators are hired just to find out what the other person is doing from morning until night and then you try to piece it together later on.”

On the House Intelligence Committee, only the Republican chairman, Devin Nunes of California, and the ranking Democrat Adam Schiff, also of California, have personally reviewed the intelligence reports. Some members were given broad outlines.

Nunes has consistently stated that the files caused him deep concern because the unmasking went beyond the former national security adviser Mike Flynn, and the information was not related to Moscow.

Russian server co. head on DNC hack: ‘No idea’ why FBI still has not contacted us

Blaming Russia because servers are from here is “absurd,” Vladimir Fomenko, owner of the Russian server company implicated in the DNC hack, told RT adding that they are ready to help any special service in investigating the attack.

Fomenko’s web hosting service, King Servers, was identified by American cybersecurity company ThreatConnect as the platform for the attack on emails of the Democratic National Committee. Six out of the eight IP addresses used by the hackers were hosted on King Servers, ThreatConnect claimed in September.

But the 26-year-old from Biysk, in western Siberia, is far from being scared or unwilling to cooperate. In fact, he recently told the New York Times that “If the FBI asks, we are ready to supply the IP addresses, the logs.” However, he says, “Nobody is asking… It’s like nobody wants to sort this out.”

8 people detained in connection with St. Petersburg Metro bombing – official

Eight suspects have been detained as part of the St. Petersburg terrorist attack investigation, according to the Russian Investigative Committee, which is leading the inquiry.

"As a result of investigative actions taken by the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) and the Interior Ministry, six suspects allegedly involved in the terrorist attack were detained in St. Petersburg and two more were arrested in Moscow," Investigative Committee spokeswoman Svetlana Petrenko told journalists on Thursday.

She also said that an improvised explosive device (IED) was found in the detained suspects’ apartments during a police raid, along with firearms and ammunition. The IED found by the police is similar to the one that the St. Petersburg Metro bomber is believed to have planted at Ploshchad Vosstaniya station, the spokeswoman added.

The USA is already a Totalitarian State with a Ministry of Propaganda that works overtime to generate a flimsy illusion of "democracy."

Is your "democracy" (or republic) actually a Totalitarian State? That is, is it a "democracy" or "republic" in name only? To find out, take this quick quiz.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Time after time, Americans vote against the wars; against the insane way in which the proverbial deck is stacked against the average working person, from vaccines which may kill you or create autism in your child; to income inequality, and the offshoring/outsourcing of jobs; yet ultimately, very little changes.

We are lied to intensely by the American Deep State, to forward its agenda, which generally focuses on the creation of wars to enrich the military/industrial complex; to expropriate resources from other countries to which we have no moral right; regime changing governments which we do not like; and insure that those resources are only sold in American dollars.

There are many moments, when I wake up, and do not at all recognise the country in which I was born.

MIT Researcher: Syria WMD ‘Facts’ Were Manufactured to Fit U.S. Conclusion for Ghouta in 2013

As the Western media and political leaders run to convict the Syrian Government in the court of political opinion over a recent alleged ‘Chemical Attack‘ in the Idlib Province in northwestern Syria this week, pr-war pundits across the US spectrum are attempting to rewrite history by falsely claiming that “Assad has crossed the Red Line again and must be stopped.” Once again, media charlatans and pro-war political opportunists are attempting to revise the events of August 21, 2013 in the Damascus suburb of the East Ghouta where a proven False Flag attack took place and which was subsequently used to build-up a pretext for the Obama and Cameron governments along their NATO, Gulf state allies to launch a new ‘humanitarian war’ against Syria – on the grounds that the Syrian government was “killing their own people.”

Assad sets himself up by using chemical weapons? Not

"Every time we have a moment in which the international community is capable of being together, there is someone, somehow that tries to undermine that feeling of hope by producing a feeling of horror and outrage," UN Syria envoy Staffan de Mistura said. "But we are not going to give up. On the contrary, we make use of all these horror moments to show they cannot prevail," he added.

However, many experts say that Assad's troops could not conduct such an attack. It was either terrorists or the Syrian opposition who could use chemical weapons.

"Now the media are trumpeting that it was Assad's troops that used chemical weapons in Idlib. This is absolute nonsense, because it is Russian headquarters that supervise all combat actions in the region. Assad will not be able to use any aircraft unless the Russian command in Hmeymim gives permission for this. Some say that it was the Russians, who used chemical weapons, but those who say this need to have their heads examined immediately.

Recently, Pakistan’s former army chief, General Raheel Sharif, has been appointed to lead a 40 member military alliance of Muslim nations dubbed as “the Muslim NATO.” Although the ostensible purpose of the alliance is to combat terrorism but in fact, the alliance of Sunni Muslim nations has been cobbled together by Saudi Arabia as a counterweight to Iran’s meddling in the Arab World.

Moreover, it should be kept in mind that Pakistan’s military and Saudi Arabia have very deep and institutionalized ties: thousands of Pakistani retired and serving army officers work on deputations in the Gulf Arab States. Furthermore, during the ‘80s, when Saudi Arabia lacked an efficient intelligence set-up, Pakistan’s Inter-services Intelligence (ISI) virtually played the role of Saudi Arabia’s foreign intelligence service.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The US government was instrumental in creating a "deal" to keep Iran from developing their nuclear weapons capabilities; why not a similar deal with Pakistan?!?

This is particularly alarming, in light of the reality that Saudi Arabia has been discovered to have been using depleted uranium weapons in Yemen; if this in fact is true, what is stopping them from using micro-nukes in Yemen?!?

The short answer is, absolutely nothing!!

Imagine men in bleach white bio suits with medical masks show up at your door. You are suspected of carrying a communicable disease. You will now be arrested and held without due process, indefinitely.

The government could do this any day.

They have the “authority”. They have the personnel. They have the funding. Now all they need is the excuse.

The federal government claims the right to quarantine anyone who they suspect has or has come into contact with a communicable disease.

On January 19th of this year, a regulation was passed by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

The regulation is meant to allow the HHS and other departments of the federal government to stop the spread of contagious diseases, like Ebola or bird flu. But the regulation is obscure enough to be a serious threat to liberty.

Webmaster's Commentary:

What a marvelous tool for political repression!!

If someone has troublesomely stated facts which do not support the US government narrative, they can now be hauled off, incommunicado, with no due process whatsoever, on the pretext that they have been "exposed" to some life-threatening disease, and must be quarantined.

Chemical Weapons 2017: What Just Happened In Syria?

By Brandon Turbeville

Yet again, on cue, the Western corporate press is on fire with stories of “Assad’s brutality,” and “chemical weapons” attacks against civilians. Obviously, the United States, NATO, and their media mouthpieces are united in condemnation of the Assad government and the Syrian military despite their being no evidence that it committed the attacks. Indeed, the Western powers may blame Assad all they want but all the available credible evidence suggests that the deployment of chemical weapons this time around, like all the others before it, was the work of terrorists and their supporters.

But the evidence does not matter to propagandists and, despite the public appearance that the U.S. President is battling the Deep State apparatus, it seems now that the Deep State and the head of the country are now finally reading from the same page...

Flashback - Afghanistan: MSF Staff Killed, Hospital Partially Destroyed in Kunduz

Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) condemns in the strongest possible terms the horrific bombing of its hospital in Kunduz, which was full of staff and patients. MSF wishes to clarify that all parties to the conflict, including in Kabul and Washington, were clearly informed of the precise location (GPS Coordinates) of the MSF facilities in Kunduz, including the hospital, guesthouse, office and an outreach stabilization unit in Chardara northwest of Kunduz.

As it does in all conflict contexts, MSF communicated the precise locations of its facilities to all parties on multiple occasions over the past months, including most recently on September 29.

The bombing in Kunduz continued for more than 30 minutes after American and Afghan military officials in Kabul and Washington were first informed by MSF that its hospital was struck.

IRS Seized Millions of Dollars from Innocent Citizens Because It Was Easier Than Going After Crooks

The IRS seized millions dollars from innocent individuals and businesses because it was easier than targeting terrorists and drug dealers, a new report from the Treasury Department’s internal watchdog has revealed.
A report from Treasury’s Inspector General found that the IRS misused a law aimed at cracking down on organized crime and terrorism to target innocent individuals and businesses. Agents adopted a policy of seizing cash before investigating for other wrongdoing because it was just easier to seize the money of innocent people than hardened criminals and terrorists.

“One of the reasons why legal source cases were pursued was that the Department of Justice had encouraged task forces to engage in ‘quick hits,’ where property was more quickly seized and more quickly resolved through negotiation, rather than pursuing cases with other criminal activity (such as drug trafficking and money laundering), which are more time-consuming,” according to the report .

Flashback: One Day After Warning Russia of Civilian Casualties, the U.S. Bombs a Hospital in Afghanistan

Yesterday afternoon, U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Samantha Power marched to Twitter to proclaim: “We call on Russia to immediately cease attacks on Syrian oppo[sition and] civilians.” Along with that decree, she posted a statement from the U.S. and several of its closest authoritarian allies — including Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the U.K. — warning Russia that civilian casualties “will only fuel more extremism and radicalization.”

Early this morning, in the Afghan city of Kunduz, the U.S. dropped bombs on a hospital run by Doctors Without Borders (Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF)). The airstrike killed at least nine of the hospital’s medical staff, and seriously injured dozens of patients. “Among the dead was the Afghan head of the hospital, Abdul Sattar,” reported the New York Times.

Jason Cone, MSF’s executive director, said the medical charity “condemns in the strongest possible terms the horrific bombing of its hospital in Kunduz full of staff and patients.”

Two former Barclays traders have been cleared by a London jury of manipulating the key interest rate benchmark in a retrial which started six weeks ago.

Ryan Reich, a 35-year-old American, and Greek national Stylianos Contogoulas, 45, were both freed on unanimous verdicts at Southwark Crown Court.

It was their second trial on a charge of conspiracy to defraud after a jury last year could not reach a verdict. Four co-defendants have been jailed.

Both men had denied any wrongdoing when charged three years ago, reacted emotionally to the verdicts Thursday.

"For the last eight years I have consistently explained that I acted appropriately, honestly, and in accordance with the rules at the time," Reich said. "I am relieved and delighted to have been acquitted."

The Serious Fraud Office (SFO) has accused Reich and Contogoulas of plotting with other Barclays staff between June 2005 and September 2007 to skew the London interbank offered rate (Libor).

"....White Helmets are handling the corpses of people without sufficient safety gear, most particularly with the masks mostly used, as well as no gloves. Although this may seem insignificant, understanding the nature of sarin gas that the opposition claim was used, only opens questions.

Within seconds of exposure to sarin, the affects of the gas begins to target the muscle and nervous system. There is an almost immediate release of the bowels and the bladder, and vomiting is induced.

When sarin is used in a concentrated area, it has the likelihood of killing thousands of people. Yet, such a dangerous gas, and the White Helmets are treating bodies with little concern to their exposed skin(!?) This has to raise questions. It also raises the question why a doctor in a hospital full of victims of sarin gas has the time to tweet and make video calls. This will probably be dismissed and forgotten however".

Ahead of the trade summit this week between US President Donald Trump and his Chinese counterpart, Xi Jinping, security experts claim a nation-state hacking group conducted espionage on a number of key industry players and lobbyists with links to the talks.

EMERGENCY ALERT: Latest Syrian Chemical Attack Follows History of False Flag Provocations

Apr 06 08:50

Rumors of war are percolating in Washington D.C., and if the Trump administration is not extremely careful it may find itself fighting several disastrous wars simultaneously. Just one day after threatening North Korea with war, Donald Trump has committed to taking military action against the Assad regime in Syria. Trump is blaming the chemical attack in Syria’s Idlib province on Tuesday on the Syrian government, and he is pledging that the United States will not just sit by and do nothing in response. Unfortunately for all of us, military contingents from Russia, Iran and Hezbollah are mixed in among the Syrian forces, and so any strike on the Syrian military could potentially spark World War 3.

Chem attack blame game ‘failed’ at Syria conference in Brussels – Russian envoy

Attempts by some members of the Brussels conference on Syria to redraw the agenda and focus on allegations of the Syrian government’s complicity in the suspected chemical attack in Idlib have failed, Russia’s deputy foreign minister has said.

“In what concerns this conference, of course, some tried to redirect it in order to focus attention on the incident that has occurred [in Idlib]. I must say that they failed to achieve that,” said Gennady Gatilov, Russia’s representative at the UN-sponsored international donor conference that was held on April 4-5 in Brussels.

Moscow hopes that the incident will not lead to the derailment of intra-Syrian talks as that would play into hands of those who strive to obstruct the peace process.

The Syria Chemical Weapons Saga: The Staging of a US-NATO Sponsored Humanitarian Disaster

In the light of recent developments and accusations directed against the Syrian government, it is important once more to set the record straight: the US supported rebels possess chemical weapons.

The following article first published in December 2012 [scroll down] documents how the Pentagon not only provided chemical weapons to Al Nusra, an affiliated Al Qaeda terrorist organization, but also provided training to the rebels in the use of these weapons.

Nikki Haley, the US ambassador to the UN, threatened that the United States will take it’s “own” action if the UN Security Council fails to act on an alleged chemical attack in the village of Khan Sheikhoun in the province of Idlib. “When the United Nations consistently fails in its duty to act collectively, there are times in the life of states that we are compelled to take our own action,” Haley said during her speech that included images of children as proof of the need for swift action.

Haley emphasized that “The truth is that Russia, Iran, and Assad have no interest in peace,” pushing the idea that to her, Damascus was clearly responsible, as a matter of fact -without any investigation.

Syrian government sets terms for any inquiry into gas attack

The Syrian government set conditions on Thursday for any international inquiry into a suspected chemical attack that killed scores of people, saying it must not be "politicised" and should set out from Damascus and not Turkey.

Foreign Minister Walid al-Moualem said Syria's past experience with international inquiries had not been encouraging. The government would only decide on the idea once its concerns were addressed, he said.

Moualem also reiterated the government's strong denial that it was behind the attack on Tuesday in Khan Sheikhoun in the northwestern province of Idlib, an area mostly controlled by rebel groups at the border with Turkey.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Even FOX News is saying the story doesn't make sense. The war has turned in Assad's favor, there is no reason for Assad to do a chemical attack. A government spokes-slug is trying to claim that Assad is trying to test Trump's resolve, which is nonsense given that Trump had indicated only Monday a softening of US policy towards Assad. Meanwhile, Israel is screaming that Assad has built a giant Sarin factory ... in his bathroom ... or some such nonsense.

Victims in Seattle of serious crimes wait for more than an hour for police assistance. Also, Seattle neighborhoods hire their own security because police are a rare sighting in their areas. Obama Granted Hillary Access to Highly Classified Material While She Was Running for President

President Obama’s administration repeatedly stonewalled Grassley’s requests for information on the classified information access.

“I have repeatedly asked the State Department whether Secretary Clinton and her associates had their clearances suspended or revoked to which the Obama Administration refused to respond,” the Senator wrote.

Now why would Obama not want anyone to know he had granted Hillary access to classified material?

Remarkably, the State Department had failed to answer questions about whether or not Clinton and her aides still have access.

Fox News reported, “The State Department has not yet responded to an inquiry from Fox News as to whether Clinton, or her staff … still have access to the classified and top-secret archives and systems.”

Grassley noted there is “evidence of potential violations of the statutes regarding the handling of classified information…”

Webmaster's Commentary:

The claim that Hillary needed access to classified information to write a book is nonsense. She can't USE any classified information in a book! Think "Chinagate!"

Ron Paul on Syria gas attack: 'It doesn't any make sense. Zero chance Assad did this.'

“Things were going reasonably well. Trump said ‘let the Syrians decide who should run their country’ and peace talks were breaking out. Al-Qaeda and ISIS were on the run, maybe defeated. It looks like maybe someone didn’t like that. Assad, they claim, now went and released gas to kill a bunch of people.”
