Satellite Data Shows 2015 Wasn’t Even Close To Being The Hottest Year On Record

Satellite temperature data measuring Earth’s lower atmosphere shows that 2015 only ranks as the third-warmest year on record, and not the warmest year as predicted by scientists relying on weather station data.

Climate scientists with the University of Alabama, Huntsville reported Tuesday the temperature anomaly for December 2015 was 0.44 degrees Celsius above the 1981 to 2010 average, fueled by an El Nino warming event.

Are Climate Skeptics Too ‘Mentally Ill’ to Buy Guns Under Obama’s New Rules?

The idea that climate skeptics are mentally ill is nothing new:

Oregon-based professor of "sociology and environmental studies" Kari Norgaard has declared climate skepticism a mental illness that must be “treated.”

Psychology Today published an article listing three warning signs that you are in “climate change denial”:

“You think climate change is bad, but not that bad.”
“You don’t have an emotional reaction to climate change.”
“You aren’t getting political.”
Thus, if you don’t think the climate threat is great enough, or you’re not furious about it, or you’re not politically active in the climate fight, then you’ve got mental issues.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Having a different opinion is not a mental illness!

Unprecendented catastrophe underway near Los Angeles; Largest gas leak ever recorded — “Equivalent to strength of a volcanic eruption” — “Thousands suffer nose bleeds, vomiting” — “Potentially devastating on planetary scale” —

Methane leak in California a ‘major catastrophe‘; Leak ‘largest ever recorded‘ could take 4 months to stop… “The amount of methane and natural gas that’s coming out of the Aliso Canyon Facility really is probably one of the largest volumes of gas ever recorded from a single leak,” says Tim O’Connor, an oil and gas specialist… “We have tried that seven times and have been unsuccessful in trying to stop the leak,” said SoCalGas spokesman Michael Mizrahi. “I have to say more than likely it’s [because] the pressures that are coming up from the leaking well are so intense.” The company says it doesn’t know exactly how much gas is escaping… The Federal Aviation Administration has imposed a no-fly zone because of the small risk that a plane could ignite a pocket of methane… Laurie Rosenberg is among the many Porter Ranch residents who say the chemicals are causing them health problems.

Webmaster's Commentary:

That volume of methane could really warm the atmosphere!

Climate change targets 'have huge implications for UK pensioners'

Britain’s biggest carbon polluters stand to lose billions of pounds from tough new climate targets and must come clean with their shareholders about the financial crisis that lies ahead, the country’s biggest pension funds have warned.

A legally binding agreement struck by world leaders in Paris last month, to reduce greenhouse gas emissions dramatically, has huge implications for pensioners, who have billions of pounds invested in “carbon-intensive” companies.

Analysts say that more than three-quarters of the world’s known coal, oil and gas reserves will have to stay in the ground if the planet is to have any chance of meeting the target to limit global warming to between 1.5C and 2C.

Since fossil-fuel companies are largely valued on their reserves, leaving them in the ground threatens to decimate their profits and share prices.

24 days to Al Gore’s ’10 years to save the planet’ and ‘point of no return’ planetary emergency deadline

On January 25th, 2006, while at the Sundance film festival, screening “An Inconvenient Truth”, Al Gore said this as chronicled in an article by CBS News:

Americans have been hearing it for decades, wavering between belief and skepticism that it all may just be a natural part of Earth’s cyclical warming and cooling phases.

And politicians and corporations have been ignoring the issue for decades, to the point that unless drastic measures to reduce greenhouse gases are taken within the next 10 years, the world will reach a point of no return, Gore said.

He sees the situation as “a true planetary emergency.”

Well, the 10 years are about up, by now, warming should have reached “planetary emergency levels” Let’s look at the data:

Quantifying the consensus on anthropogenic global warming in the scientific literature

We analyze the evolution of the scientific consensus on anthropogenic global warming (AGW) in the peer-reviewed scientific literature, examining 11?944 climate abstracts from 1991–2011 matching the topics 'global climate change' or 'global warming'. We find that 66.4% of abstracts expressed no position on AGW, 32.6% endorsed AGW, 0.7% rejected AGW and 0.3% were uncertain about the cause of global warming. Among abstracts expressing a position on AGW, 97.1% endorsed the consensus position that humans are causing global warming. In a second phase of this study, we invited authors to rate their own papers. Compared to abstract ratings, a smaller percentage of self-rated papers expressed no position on AGW (35.5%).

Massive methane leak forces relocation of 2,500 California families

New aerial footage of the leak was also released on Wednesday by the Environmental Defense Fund, which captured the intensity of the leak by infrared camera. The video footage shows a steady, thick plume pouring into the air over a densely packed residential area. It is hard to judge the width of the plume from the video, but EDF said it is pumping out 62 million cubic feet of methane into the atmosphere each day. Methane packs 80 times the 20-year warming power of carbon dioxide.

“What you can’t see is easy to ignore. That’s why communities that suffer from pollution from oil and gas development are often dismissed by industry and regulators,” said Earthworks spokesman Alan Septoff in a statement. “Making invisible pollution visible shows the world what people in Porter Ranch have been living with every day for months.”

Climate Change? Why Hasn't Obama Mentioned the Enormous "Unstoppable" Gas Leak Happening in California Right Now?

Some 150 million pounds of methane has now poured into the atmosphere in just a few weeks. No one seems to know what caused it and no one seems to know how to stop it. The gas leak continues unabated. It shows no signs of stopping. It is now officially being called the worst catastrophe since the BP oil spill and the worst gas leak in California state history.

Obama will wax on all day about “climate change” right? Well methane is clearly much worse for the environment than the man-made carbon dioxide he’s always railing against and where has he been on this one? Pushing gun control? Golfing?

This leak has supposedly already released the equivalent of what would be released from six coal fired power plants (the ones he wants to regulate out of existence) over the span of twenty years… in just under two months. And it just keeps leaking at an alarming rate.

And the president hasn’t said a peep. Keep in mind, this leak was happening DURING the recent climate talks in Paris.

Green Gestapo: TV programs that mock global warming being memory holed by governments to erase any trace of their existence

The only way the cabal of global warming/climate change hoaxers can be heard, is by silencing anyone with countermanding evidence that the hoaxers are lying to the entire planet. One of the cultist cabal's latest victims of the "green Gestapo" is Britain's Quentin Letts.

As he explains in a story at The Daily Mail, what happened to him was a bit like what happened to a member of the Soviet-era Politburo who had fallen out of favor with then-Premier Josef Stalin in 1940, shortly before World War II began in earnest in Europe.

Using a concept that George Orwell – author of the forward-looking 1984 – created, namely the "unperson," described as "someone who had so offended official thought, he or she was vaporised — not just liquidated but wiped from the record for eternity," Letts wrote that he had been treated similarly by a British media icon for questioning global warming orthodoxy.

The fact of the matter is the carbon dioxide level of the atmosphere remains dangerously low at four hundred parts per million. In fact the more carbon dioxide there is in the atmosphere, the better for all forms of life on planet Earth.

Climate activists try to silence climate skeptics... No debate allowed... Same tactic always used by the radical left when they are losing the argument

As noted by Marc Morano of Climate Depot – who was in Paris recently to kick off a documentary "Climate Hustle," laying out the hoax in detail – several environmental groups called for revoking the credentials of any attendee who questioned the cult of global warming, while others have called for banning opposing viewpoints and even taking legal action against "deniers."

snip: Recently, the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) announced for the umpteenth time we are doomed unless we reduce carbon-dioxide emissions to zero. Effectively this means either reducing the population to zero, or going back 10,000 years before humans began clearing forests for agriculture. This proposed cure is far worse than adapting to a warmer world, if it actually comes about.

NOAA Relies On ‘Compromised’ Thermometers That Inflate US Warming Trend

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration’s reliance on poorly-sited weather stations to calculate surface temperatures is inflating the warming trend of the U.S. and maybe even the rest of the world, according to a landmark study looking at three decades of data.

“The majority of weather stations used by NOAA to detect climate change temperature signal have been compromised by encroachment of artificial surfaces like concrete, asphalt, and heat sources like air conditioner exhausts,” Anthony Watts, a seasoned meteorologist and lead author of the study, said in a statement Thursday.

UN Plots Future of Education: Creating Green “Global Citizens”

Speaking at the United Nations World Education Forum in South Korea this week, UN chief Ban Ki Moon and UNESCO boss Irina Bokova declared that globalized schools around the world need to re-shape children’s values and create "sustainable" “global citizens.” The controversial summit, which outlined what the UN described as a “roadmap for global education” through 2030 in the “Incheon Declaration,” brought together over 100 national education ministers, swarms of UN bureaucrats, globalists, educators, and other “stakeholders” from every corner of the planet. And while the UN education forum passed virtually unnoticed in the U.S. establishment media, the implications of the globalist educational scheming for Americans — and humanity more broadly — are enormous.

“We met the moment,” he added. “This agreement represents the best chance we have to save the one planet that we’ve got.”

'Fossil Fuels' Nowhere to be Found in the Paris Agreement

The Guardian reported that James Hansen, former lead scientist at NASA, said that the Paris climate agreement is all BS. He says as long as fossil fuels appear to be the cheapest fuels out there, they will be burned. If we follow this agreement, we'll have 2 degrees Celsius warming target, and then try to do a little better every five years. It's just worthless words. There is no action, just promises, he says. Further, our next guest, scientist at Pace University Chris Williams, the author of Ecology and Socialism: Solutions to Capitalist Ecological Crisis just wrote about the Paris outcomes. And he says despite the self-congratulatory statements from world leaders praising themselves for single-handedly saving the world from climate catastrophe, the reality is that they have set the planet on course to burn.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The Paris Climate agreement is about global wealth redistribution, not climate.

Bernie Sanders Seeks to Cut Carbon Emissions by 80%

“What the scientists tell us is that we have a relatively short window of opportunity to bring about the fundamental changes that we need in our global energy system to transform our energy system.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

Only 3% of atmospheric CO2 comes from human activity. So even of Bernie succeeds in cutting 80% of human-caused CO2 emissions, that is just over 1%, tops. Meanwhile, nobody talks about reforestation as a solution to increased CO2, or the CO2 produced by warfare. The case that CO2 is raising the Earth's temperature has been destroyed by the record-setting winters we have gone through these last few years, and while we seem to be getting a slower start to winter this year, even the Carbonazis are admitting the record hot El Nino current is the cause, even as they try to claim that El Nino is the result of human activity.

Dec 14 11:43

El Niño will be blamed on human-caused global warming

Recent history suggests that El Niño-driven, elevated global temperatures this year and next will be blamed on CO2-driven, human-caused global warming. Every weather fluctuation is blamed on it.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This article correctly points out that whenever there is an El Nino current warming the Pacific, the Carbonazis attempt to link it to human activity.

The science says something else.

It is clear from the above thermal image of El Nino that the heat bloom originates from a point source in the western Pacific, then spreads out as it flows east towards the Americas.

Here are some more historic measurements of El Nino.

Human activity is spread across the globe, yet Historically the El Nino heat emerges from a point source!

Now let us look at the above maps aligned with a map of the Pacific Ocean floor!

Click for larger image

Click for larger image

Click for larger image

The heat blooms are originating form the same location in the Pacific.

Let's take a detailed look.

Click for larger image

Every one of those conical-shaped projections above the ocean floor is a volcano! The ones that break the surface form islands, such as here in Hawaii. Nobody actually knows how many are active at any given time. Indeed nobody actually knows how many active volcanoes and thermal vents there are on the floor of the world's oceans. Absent a seismic event, or a patch of floating pumice floating on the ocean above the volcano, there is as yet no means for knowing which and how many of those volcanoes are active.

Clearly, the El Nino current is the result of variances in the number and degree of sub-ocean volcanic activity taking places, which explains why none of the climate experts have been able to reliably predict when El Nino will occur.

In any event, El Nino is the result of natural processes and not human activity!

FLASHBACK 2004 - Global Warming Bombshell

But now a shock: Canadian scientists Stephen McIntyre and Ross McKitrick have uncovered a fundamental mathematical flaw in the computer program that was used to produce the hockey stick. In his original publications of the stick, Mann purported to use a standard method known as principal component analysis, or PCA, to find the dominant features in a set of more than 70 different climate records.

But it wasnt so. McIntyre and McKitrick obtained part of the program that Mann used, and they found serious problems. Not only does the program not do conventional PCA, but it handles data normalization in a way that can only be described as mistaken.

Now comes the real shocker. This improper normalization procedure tends to emphasize any data that do have the hockey stick shape, and to suppress all data that do not.

World Leaders Just Agreed To A "Historic" Climate Accord... Which Is Non-Binding And Has No Enforcement Language

Great news! The "greatest threat to future generations of the world" has apparently been solved. World leaders Saturday adopted an historic international climate accord in Paris, the first-ever agreement to commit almost every country to fight climate change. However, as we knew all along and just got confirmation, the 31-page pact does not have binding language or a mechanism to force countries to live up to the promises to cut greenhouse gases emissions or provide money for developing and poor nations to cope with the effects of global warming.

Basically, COP21 was a massive taxpayer-funded boondoggle, in which "leaders" enjoyed all the perks of Paris for two weeks, burned through hundreds of millions in public funding, and created millions of tons in greenhouse gases (what do you think to private jets and government 747s use to fly?) that has achieved absolutely nothing.
