Chemsex: the alarming new trend of 72 hour drug-fuelled sex sessions

An alarming new craze for lengthy drug-fuelled sex sessions, which can last for days a time, could lead to a rise in HIV and hepatitis, health officials has warned.

The practice, dubbed ‘chemsex’ has been reported by more than 60 per cent of people visiting some clinics in London and involves people taking drugs like crystal meth before embarking on 72 hour sex binges with multiple partners.

NHS staff and the Royal College of GPs warned that people were ‘losing days’ to the new trend and turning up too late for anti-viral drugs or emergency contraception to be effective.

After he was shot, 9-year-old Kansas City boy snuggled up to his big brother and died, dad says

The majority of Black Americans murdered every year are killed by other blacks. But the enablers are in DC!

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Kansas City police believe that at some point the people responsible for the murders of two boys early Saturday morning at 58th and College were inside the home.

"I do not get it. I swear. We have to protect the future. He's the future," said Jayson Ugwuh, Jayden Ugwuh's dad.

Montell and JaydenUgwuh was only 9-years-old and his cousin Montell Ross, 8-years-old. They were killed early Saturday morning when a gunman sprayed bullets into the family home where Jayden and Montell were sleeping. Altogether, there were six children sleeping inside the home at the time.

James Howard Kunstler: Racketeering Is Ruining Us

Racketeering is just pervasive in all of our activities. Not just in politics but in things even like medicine and education. Obviously the college loan scheme is an example of racketeering. Anybody who has to go to an emergency room with a child whose broken their finger or something, is going to end up with a bill for $20,000. You know why? Because of medical racketeering. And so, these are really efforts to money-grub by any means necessary, often in ways that are unethical and probably illegal. Let’s use that word racketeering to describe our national situation.

And let’s remember by the way, the activities of the central banks is just another form of racketeering. Using debt issuance and attempting to control interest rates in order to conceal our inability to generate the kind of real wealth that we need to continue as a techno-industrial society.

Israel, Pakistan To Join Nevada War Games As US Prepares For Large-Scale Space & Cyber Wars

International war games being fought this week in the Nevada desert suggest the U.S. military is preparing for new, large-scale warfare against powerful enemies. This year marks the 41st year of the Red Flag military exercises, which are considered among the most important training exercises carried out in the United States. A grab bag of international troops are also invited to participate in the Air Force drill, including Israel, the United Arab Emirates, and Pakistan, according to an Aug. 3 report from The Times Of Israel. The report, which cites unnamed U.S. and Israeli military officials and an amateur aviation blog as its sources, emphasizes that U.S. forces remain in charge of the drills, with other countries treated as “guests.” But it also suggests the exercises can be interpreted as a sign of strengthening ties between countries’ troops in an increasingly volatile world.

Australia Agrees To Close Refugee Detention Centre On Manus Island

The announcement came after a newspaper published leaked documents detailing more than 2,000 incidents of sexual abuse, assault, and attempted self-harm, reported over two years at the Nauru detention center.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Great that the Australian government is closing this camp; but what now, for these illegal immigrants and their kids, particularly if, economic and/or political chaos in their countries of origin make it honestly impossible for them to go home again?!?

Their Hair Fell Out. Should the F.D.A. Have the Power to Act?

When the Los Angeles hairstylist Chaz Dean pitched his almond mint and lavender-scented hair care products — endorsed by celebrities like Brooke Shields and Alyssa Milano — he sold millions. But his formula got an unexpected result: itching, rashes, even hair loss in large clumps, in both adults and children.

More than 21,000 complaints have been lodged against his Wen Hair Care, and Mr. Dean, the blue-eyed, golden-haired stylist to the stars, has found himself at the center of a fierce debate over the government’s power to ensure the safety of a cosmetics industry with about $50 billion in annual sales.

The Santa Monica, Calif.-based national distributor of Mr. Dean’s hair care line is part of a beauty care trade association that has been aggressively lobbying Congress to block the passage of tough new legislation that would give the Food and Drug Administration the authority to test ingredients used in cosmetics and issue mandatory recalls for products found to be unsafe.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I am violently allergic to formaldehyde precursors, which are stunningly common in both lower end cosmetics and cleaning projects; however, my hare-brained, logic-challenged HMO Doctors did not discover this for me, after half a decade of utter misery.

What happened was that my doctors put me on a medication for which Pfizer was compensating doctors to prescribe, even though it was "off book" for my condition, meaning that the medication had never been tested against this kind of pain.

It was, therefore, not in their best financial interests to get to the root of the problem; so a series of tests for chemical sensitivities, which could have identified the culprit chemicals, was never ordered.

After coming back from a gig which Mike had in San Francisco, I went back to my orthopedist, who took x-rays of my feet, and declared that he could see nothing physical as the cause of the pain.

I remember coming home in tears, asking Mike when I had time in my schedule to be a hypochondriac.

About 40 minutes later, he had done the due dilligence on line, and realized that many people were highly allergic to both formaldehyde precursors, and other chemicals. We did a "chemical-ectomy" in our home that night, and the next day, I was walking without pain for the first time in half a decade.

On my follow-up visit to my orthopedist, I presented the research, and told him that if he had patients presenting these kinds of symptoms, but he could see nothing in the x-rays looking like the cause of the pain, to immediately order a series of chemical sensitivity screenings, because chemical allergies may well be the culprit.

I stormed out of that office, never to return to that HMO.

The two doctors who had originally prescribed me this "off the book" pain management product (not the orthopedist) were mysteriously gone from the HMO's on-line roster shortly after that.

But no, the companies manufacturing cosmetics and cleaning products do not have the right to poison the people who use their products for profit, period, end of discussion.

Here are a couple of useful links for research in this area;

Common Products Using Formaldehyde Precursors

Cosmetics Using Formaldehyde Precursors

Knowledge is power here. I would never want anyone to go through what I wend through, because of both my original ignorance of this information, and the medical establishment's ignorance of this information.

‘It’s like we’re born with guns in our hands’: Young Israelis face prison as they resist military conscription

Four months ago, Omri requested exemption from military service through an ethics committee. But her request was rejected, and she found herself facing prison time.

Leading up to her first stay in military prison, Omri was introduced to Tair and other members of the Refusers Solidarity Network, who gave her an informal, educational lesson on Israel’s treatment of the Palestinian people.

After discovering the widespread human rights violations occurring just a short drive away, Omri dedicated herself to reading books about Palestine and stumbled upon a very different history of Israel than what she had learned growing up.

“I had never even seen a map that shows the green line,” Omri said incredulously, referring to the pre-1967 borders recognized under international law as the border between Palestine and Israel. “To this day, I have not been able to find a map of Israel in Hebrew that recognizes any Palestinian borders.”

OVERWHELMED BY DEBT, NEARLY 1 IN 5 YOUNG ADULTS LIVE WITH THEIR PARENTS OR GRANDPARENTS

In America today, more than 60 million people live in multi-generational households. That number is so large that it may seem difficult to believe, but the truth is that vast numbers of young adults have had to move back in with their parents and grandparents in recent years due to the deteriorating economy. Millions of our young people cannot find decent jobs once they leave school, and millions of them are absolutely overwhelmed by debt. Of course some of them are just lazy, but whatever the reason it is undeniable that multi-generational households are on the rise. According to the Pew Research Center, 12 percent of the U.S. population was living in multi-generational households back in 1980. Today, that number is up to 19 percent. That means nearly one out of every five U.S. adults now live with their parents or their grandparents.

One of the big culprits, of course, is student loan debt.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Young people must, right now, do their own due dilligence about what jobs will most likely exist in what fields by the time they have graduated; do not believe one thing a college counselor might tell you, because they are there to assure that classroom seats are filled, and the appropriate tuitions paid, either through private means, or student loans, which can haunt you.

If you do a web search on google.com, here is a question you may want to ask:

What are the best paying jobs which do not require a college degree?

You may be surprised at what is possible here, and will not put you under a mountain of debt. And you need to start looking in your sophomore year of high school.

FEDERAL GOVERNMENT TURNS A BLIND EYE TO TERRIBLE CONDITIONS IN PRIVATE PRISONS

The Office of the Inspector General for the Justice Department uncovered systemic mismanagement at private prisons, which fueled inmate suffering. However, the office also found the suffering would not have been so severe if government officials had engaged in proper oversight.

Corrections Corporation of America (CCA), GEO Group, and Management and Training Corporation (MTC) has contracts with the Bureau of Prisons (BOP) to house about 22,660 federal inmates in private prisons—about 12 percent of the federal prison population. The BOP has contracted facilities since the late 1990s, largely because of overcrowding.

While the overall federal prison population declined by 2.3 percent from 2013 to 2014, the system remains approximately 20 percent over capacity today.

Webmaster's Commentary:

It's very simple, here, regarding private prisons; recidivism re-fills cells, and that fattens corporate profits.

And the private prison industry has become one of the largest political contributors to American candidates, insuring, as much as possible, that bad conditions continue without governmental scrutiny, in order to maximise profits.

GIMME A BREAK! IRS TAX LOOPHOLE CAN REWARD EXCESSIVE WATER USE IN DROUGHT-STRICKEN WEST

ProPublica’s reporting on the water crisis in the American West has highlighted any number of confounding contradictions worsening the problem: Farmers are encouraged to waste water so as to protect their legal rights to its dwindling supply in the years ahead; Las Vegas sought to impose restrictions on water use while placing no checks on its explosive population growth; the federal government has encouraged farmers to improve efficiency in watering crops, but continues to subsidize the growing of thirsty crops such as cotton in desert states like Arizona.

Today, we offer another installment in the contradictions amid a crisis.

In parts of the western U.S., wracked by historic drought, you can get a tax break for using an abundance of water.

That’s a typo, right? A joke?

ORWELLIAN BILL CRIMINALIZING REPORTING OF UNDERCOVER VIDEO SETS OFF BATTLE FOR FREE SPEECH

The controversy last year over secretly recorded video taken of Planned Parenthood employees has turned into a bigger controversy over the First Amendment rights of journalists.

After losing the attempt to bring federal charges against the anti-abortion group Center for Medical Progress, Planned Parenthood and certain state lawmakers are going for the nuclear option known as Assembly Bill 1671.

Courthouse News reports:

“The bill would criminalize publishing undercover video footage of “health care providers” and subject third parties, including journalists, to penalties for reporting and distributing the illegally recorded footage.

Under AB 1671, a journalist receiving and posting footage from an anonymous source could be punished by the state as well as be opened up to potential civil lawsuits. Whistleblowers would not be exempt from the proposal either, regardless of how they obtained the illegal footage.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Planned Parenthood must, collectively, be terrified that some of its practices are so gruesome that, if shared with the general public, would necessitate having them close all their facilities due to the shock value of these procedures.

That being said, as a pro-Life Christian, I completely understand that there are situations where a pregnancy cannot come to term, because it utterly threatens the life of the mother.

But the passage of AB 1671 will absolutely undermine the First Amendment to the Constitution, and that cannot be allowed to stand.

12-minute video: ‘Official’ lies about history go to origins: 12,000 year-old Gobekli Tepe temple points to advanced ancient civilizations

Anyone on the path of studying history discovers “official” narratives are lies of omission and commission; bullshit (an academic term) to herd people to away from comprehensively and independently verifiable facts. Those of us who are professional historians choosing intellectual integrity and moral courage must become rebels from this controlled and lying propaganda connected to corporate media because what we’re told is sooooo far from what any reasonably educated person can demonstrate is accurate.

“No treaty, however much it may be to the advantage of all, however tightly it may be worded, can provide absolute security against the risks of deception and evasion.” ~ President Kennedy, June 10, 1963

I was inspired to write this essay by the following comment from an otherwise intelligent person:

"Therefore, while I can say it strongly appears U.S. wars are in violation of the treaties and therefore likely illegal, there is no way for myself to make that a legally binding finding and attach legal demands based upon it. I can make stuff up, but that won’t go over very well."

From similar comments over time, I’ve made perhaps ten requests for this person to summarize war law in a sentence or two. So far, I’ve received only dodges avoiding this easy and essential citizen responsibility. This said, this isn’t the only individual who can’t summarize war law, and see that it’s meant to be as clear as:

“stop sign” law for driving,

In 2016, we have become accustomed to relatively childish and easily deconstructed propaganda narratives that are circulated by the U.S. State Department and its mainstream media mouthpieces in order to discredit the Syrian government and drum up support for a NATO-led war on the secular government of Bashar al-Assad.

From scares related to chemical weapons (later demonstrated to be the work of NATO’s terrorists), unproven and largely discredited claims that Assad is “killing his own people” or even that Assad is “supporting ISIS” has become the order of the day in American media. Recently, however, the State Department, office of origin of the “Ghaddafi is handing out Viagra to rapists” propaganda line, has issued yet another pathetic propaganda ploy against the Syrian government – an alleged letter written by alleged doctors alleging that the Syrian military is encircling Aleppo in order to allegedly kill civilians.

US DEFENSE FIRMS PROFIT BY SAUDI ARABIA’S SLAUGHTER OF YEMEN

It is not secret that Saudi Arabia has been carrying out ghastly war crimes on the people of Yemen using US weapons and support. Despite the US’ endless (and largely hypocritical) complaining about civilian deaths in Syria, the Saudis have deployed unprecedented violence on civilians in Yemen with no audible opposition from the US. One of the US weapons making an appearance in Yemen are widely banned cluster bombs, specifically the CBU-105 Sensor Fuzed Weapon from Textron Systems of Wilmington, Massachusetts. The bombs are not only lethal upon initial use but often the parts of the bomb do not explode as planned and spontaneously detonate later or by accident when scavengers stumble upon them while looking for scrap metal.

DALLAS PD ASKS ATTORNEY GENERAL FOR PERMISSION TO WITHHOLD 'EMBARRASSING' DOCUMENTS ABOUT ITS BOMB ROBOT

The unprecedented deployment of a bomb-defusing robot by Dallas police to kill an armed suspect raised several questions. While these robots have sometimes acted as part of a negotiation team in the past, no police department had previously rigged one up with an explosive device to take a suspect out. One question that remains unanswered is whether this use of the Dallas PD's robot violated its own policies. Gawker's Andy Cush filed a public records request for PD policies on using robots to kill and discovered Dallas law enforcement was basically making things up as it went along.

US Nuclear Weapons At Risk of Seizure in Turkey

Dozens of US nuclear weapons stored at a Turkish air base near Syria are at risk of being captured by “terrorists or other hostile forces”, a Washington think tank said on Monday.

The US has an estimated 50 nuclear bombs at Incirlik in southern Turkey, 110km from the border with Syria.
The base’s Turkish commander was arrested on suspicion of complicity in last month’s coup plot.

“Whether the US could have maintained control of the weapons in the event of a protracted civil conflict in Turkey is an unanswerable question,” said Monday’s report from the Stimson Center, a nonpartisan think tank working to promote peace.

Incirlik is a vital base for the US-led coalition fighting the Islamic State (IS) group in Iraq and Syria, giving drones and warplanes fast access to IS targets.

“From a security point of view, it’s a roll of the dice to continue to have approximately 50 of America’s nuclear weapons stationed at Incirlik,” report co-author Laicie Heeley said.

Webmaster's Commentary:

And hey, it wouldn't even have to be a coup ultimately commandeering these weapons; it could well be the Turkish government itself!!

With such an improvement in Turkish/Russian relations in the last week, who knows?!? Turkey may well pivot to Russia, declare itself a BRICs nation, and tell NATO to just vanish, permanently.

Israel decides no criminal charges for police who seized Palestinian girl's bicycle

One of the officers was suspended from the force after the incident late last month, documented by a B'tselem video camera. The footage showed two border policemen chasing a Palestinian girl, eight-year-old Anwar Burqan, of Hebron's al-Ibrahimi Street, as she rode a bicycle.

It showed one of the officers picking up the bicycle and tossing it into the bushes.

Large swaths of al-Ibrahimi St. are closed to Palestinian traffic. In their defense, the officers told investigators the girl's bicycle was confiscated because she was riding in a part of the street closed to Palestinians and they wanted to protect her.

Webmaster's Commentary:

So, let me get this straight: these officers wanted to "protect" this 8 year old child....by throwing away and ruining her bicycle?!?

WOW, it really takes MANLY MEN to do that.

But hey, that's Israel in the 21st century; the most wretchedly apartheid, self-proclaimed theocracy in this world, AND... with nuclear weapons!!

DOCUMENTS CONFIRM CIA CENSORSHIP OF GUANTÁNAMO TRIALS

IN JANUARY 2013, during the military trial of five men accused of plotting the 9/11 attacks, a defense lawyer was discussing a motion relating to the CIA’s black-site program, when a mysterious entity cut the audio feed to the gallery. A red light began to glow and spin. Someone had triggered the courtroom’s censorship system.

The system was believed to be under the control of the judge, Col. James Pohl. In this case, it wasn’t.

Later, Pohl said the censorship was the work of an “OCA,” short for “Original Classification Authority.” In the future, he said, no external body would be permitted to unilaterally censor what was happening in his courtroom.

Many have speculated that Pohl’s “OCA” is in fact the CIA. That speculation is now confirmed with the release of three new documents by The Intercept. The documents show the evolution of secret rules governing what is and is not allowed to be discussed before the military court at Guantánamo.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Why in the name of heaven is the US military torturing when they know that the tortured person will say anything his torturers want him to say to get the torture to stop?!?

Because this wasn't about what the tortured had done or not done; it was about eliciting confessions with which to justify the continued use torture.

I would like to politely remind our military and civilian leadership that when we, as a country, torture, or outsource torture, we demonstrate to the world that Americans are complete, abysmal hypocrites when it comes human rights, democracy, and the moral treatment of prisoners of war.

And I would also like to politely remind our military and civilian leadership that when we, as a country, torture, or outsource torture, this gives carte blanche for foreign countries which really don't like the American government that much, to torture our civilian and military personnel.

Please do take a moment to reflect on that, won't you?!?

U.N. Peacekeepers, U.S. Embassy Stand Down As American Aid Workers Beaten, Raped In Sudan

NAIROBI, Kenya (AP) — The soldier pointed his AK-47 at the female aid worker and gave her a choice.

“Either you have sex with me, or we make every man here rape you and then we shoot you in the head,” she remembers him saying.

She didn’t really have a choice. By the end of the evening, she had been raped by 15 South Sudanese soldiers.

On July 11, South Sudanese troops, fresh from winning a battle in the capital, Juba, over opposition forces, went on a nearly four-hour rampage through a residential compound popular with foreigners, in one of the worst targeted attacks on aid workers in South Sudan’s three-year civil war. They shot dead a local journalist while forcing the foreigners to watch, raped several foreign women, singled out Americans, beat and robbed people and carried out mock executions, several witnesses told The Associated Press.

Webmaster's Commentary:

What the hell is wrong with UN personnel if they cannot protect people from these atrocities?!?

OR DO THEY EVEN CARE?!?

Dr. Ban Ki Moon gets wined and dined all over the planet, at various fetes, but when it comes to enforcing the effectiveness of UN forces under these circumstances, he is absolutely, utterly useless, and should be immediately sacked.

Unless, and until, the UN gets a Secretary General who is willing to put his discipline and energy where his mouth is, incidents like this will just keep occurring.

Putin deploys Russia’s most advanced air-defence missiles in Crimea as alarm grows war is imminent

The European Union said there was no independent confirmation of claims that Ukrainian agents had killed two Russian servicemen in Crimea. Putin pledged a “very serious” response as he blamed Kiev for pursuing “terror” activities. The 28-member bloc called on both sides to refrain from intensifying what has led to the worst diplomatic standoff between the two countries since a 2015 truce eased hostilities in Ukraine’s separatist conflict. Germany said that Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier will meet his Russian counterpart, Sergei Lavrov, next week in Russia.

“We reiterate our condemnation and non-recognition of the illegal annexation of Crimea,” European Commission spokesman Alexandre Polack said in Brussels on Friday. “There has been neither concrete evidence provided by Russia sustaining its claim nor any independent confirmation of the claims made by Russian authorities.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

Apparently, the EU, as evidenced by the statement by their spokesperson, Polack, is still pursuing the narrative that somehow, Russia "annexed" Crimea.

This absolutely did not happen.

In 2014 when Yanukovich got thrown under the proverbial bus by the US, the EU, and NATO, and Poroshenko got "anointed" to the position of President, the Crimean people understood, without question, that there was no longer any legitimate government in Kiev.

Then, Crimea had a free and fair referendum, asking the Crimean people if they wanted to stay with Ukraine, or ask to become a part of the Russian Federation; they overwhelmingly voted to accept the latter. The referendum was presented to the Russian Federation, which accepted Crimea as a member at that time.

Russia has done absolutely nothing wrong here; and a short memo to EU Spokesperson Polack; the "big lie" doesn't work in this part of the 21st century. Someone at the EU should have sent you the memo on that!!

Obamacare Sticker Shock: Average 2017 Premium Surges 24%

The reference, of course, was to the state by state surge in proposed 2017 Obamacare premiums, contrasted with what the government contends is a modest 1.0% inflation rate.

Now, courtesy of a new study by independent analyst Charles Gaba - who has crunched the numbers for insurers participating in the ACA exchanges in all 50 states - we can also calculate what the average Obamacare premium increase across the entire US will be: using proposed and approved rate increase requests, the average Obamacare premium is expected to surge by a whopping 24% this year.

THIS IS HOW PRIVATE PRISON COMPANIES MAKE MILLIONS EVEN WHEN CRIME RATES FALL

Occupancy requirements, as it turns out, are common practice within the private prison industry. A new report by In the Public Interest, an anti-privatization group, reviewed 62 contracts for private prisons operating around the country at the local and state level. In the Public Interest found that 41 of those contracts included occupancy requirements mandating that local or state government keep those facilities between 80 and 100 percent full. In other words, whether crime is rising or falling, the state must keep those beds full. (The report was funded by grants from the Open Society Institute and Public Welfare, according to a spokesman.)

Webmaster's Commentary:

Private prisons have had a history of betting on political candidates financially to ultimately fatten their own coffers.

IF you have not seen it, please watch Michael Moore's "Who Do We invade Next?!?", even if you are not a fan of his work.

There is one segment where he goes to a men's prison in Norway; and what he discovers is nothing less than amazing. These people are treated kindly, and as though they have a future which is not criminal. Their environments are clean and comfortable. As reported at businessinsider.com in December of 2014:

In Norway, fewer than 4,000 of the country's 5 million people were behind bars as of August 2014. That makes Norway's incarceration rate just 75 per 100,000 people, compared to 707 people for every 100,000 people in the US. On top of that, when criminals in Norway leave prison, they stay out. It has one of the lowest recidivism rates in the world at 20%. The US has one of the highest: 76.6% of prisoners are re-arrested within five years. Norway also has a relatively low level of crime compared to the US, according to the Bureau of Diplomatic Security. The majority of crimes reported to police there are theft-related incidents, and violent crime is mostly confined to areas with drug trafficking and gang problems. Based on that information, it's safe to assume Norway's criminal justice system is doing something right. Few citizens there go to prison, and those who do usually go only once. So how does Norway accomplish this feat? The country relies on a concept called "restorative justice," which aims to repair the harm caused by crime rather than punish people. This system focuses on rehabilitating prisoners.

The us penal system is stupid, brutish, and counterproductive in the extreme, and it is engineered to be so, in order to hold on to it's huge budgets; the private prison system is even more so, because recidivism translates into more bucks for shareholders.

What is wrong with this picture?!?

EVERYTHING!!

SOROS HACK EXPOSES PLOT BEHIND REFUGEE CRISIS, HIS MEDIA CONTROL, CASH FOR “SOCIAL JUSTICE”

Leaked files from billionaire globalist George Soros’ Open Society Foundation two days ago have exposed several startling machinations about the organization — including flagrant schemes to manipulate the media, influence international immigration policy, and cash designated for social justice initiatives.

Soros has been outed previously for pulling political strings in Ukraine, but as one memo revealed in the massive DCLeaks cache shows, the globalist also sought direct manipulation of Western media to align with that political agenda.

Titled the “Ukraine Media Project,” the memo’s authors admit that “this isn’t proper independent journalism and we may damage our credibility with journalists,” but that “journalists may produce stories that have no relevance for the narrative we seek to inform or stories that are counterproductive (enforcing narratives of fascism, etc.)”

Webmaster's Commentary:

Why am I not surprised at this man's actions?!?

And OSF labeling the immigration crisis as "the new normal"?!?

You see, it is never the" new normal" for those behind gates, walls, and brigades of security personnel; the monied are, of course, completely insulated from the chaos this brings.

It is only supposed to be "the new normal" for the rest of the people who have to put up with it, including the ancillary crime, gangs, and drugs which come with this crisis.

OF COURSE, the US could stop the wars which have generated this immigration chaos; but that...would be logical.

SHERIFF DAVID CLARKE: ‘STOP TRYING TO FIX THE POLICE, FIX THE GHETTO’

“People have to find a more socially acceptable way to deal with their frustration, their anger and resentment,” Sheriff Clarke said, adding the “war on police” mentality was a “political construct” that had been implemented by the left for a political end.

“Same thing, same model, same subversive groups involved with different names now, different generation of course – as all those folks and the students for a Democratic society got old,” Clarke said.

Here are a few excerpts from Sheriff Clarke’s insightful press conference:

“Police use of force serves as an igniter — there’s no doubt — but to an already volatile mix of urban pathologies, failed urban policy that exacerbates inescapable poverty, failing public schools, inadequate parenting. Father-absent homes — we all know when fathers are not around to shape the behavior of young boys, they often times grow up to be unmanageable misfits that police have to deal with in an aggressive fashion.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

In listening and watching the people who were rioting, I had to shake my head, and ask, "Where were the parents of these people while they were growing up?!?

Did they not understand that without the ability to speak and write a standard English, that their kids were doomed to never find decent, well paying jobs?!?

And what about the abject failure of their school system?!? Every school administrator and teacher in that district of Milwaukee should be immediately canned, the teacher's union (if it exists) be scrapped in favor of a teachers who can really teach, using a performance-based curriculum which measures a teacher's worth to the district by the level of comprehension of material presented, but not "teaching to the test", which has been enshrined by Common Core.

With love and structure, kids can - and will - learn.

Remember the great film, "Stand and Deliver"?!?

This was based on a true story, where a math teacher in East LA was tired of being told that his kids "couldn't really do math", and had them compete at such a high level that the district accused him of "cheating" to get scores as high as those kids did.

When they were re-tested, with monitors in their room, they tested just as high - if not higher - than they did the first timed.

Milwaukee needs an ARMY of teachers like this, who get well compensated for what they do.

PARENTS WHO CAN'T PAY THE BILL FOR KIDS' INCARCERATION CAN STILL GO BANKRUPT, A US COURT RULES

When Maria Rivera got a bill from Orange County for her young son's year in juvenile detention, she sold her house to pay for it, but ended up short, and the county got a court order for another $10K to pay the remainder and various fees and penalties.

When Rivera declared bankruptcy, the county refused to let up, arguing that the law that prevents parents from escaping their child-support duties in bankruptcy applied to parents who'd been dinged for their kids' jail time. The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals ruled against the county, saying that this was bullshit, and letting Rivera get on with her life.

The court wrote that the case was "troubling" because it "compromise[s] the goals of juvenile correction and the best interests of the child, and, ironically, impair the ability of his mother to provide him with future support."

World seeing ‘greatest monetary policy experiment in history’ - Rothschild

Low interest rates, negative yields on government debt and quantitative easing are part of the biggest financial experiment in world history, and the consequences are yet unknown, says RIT Capital Partners Chairman Lord Rothschild.

We are therefore in uncharted waters and it is impossible to predict the unintended consequences of very low interest rates, with some 30 percent of global government debt at negative yields, combined with quantitative easing on a massive scale,” Rothschild writes in the company's semi-annual financial report.

California Assembly Passes Bill to Curb “Policing for Profit” via Asset Forfeiture; Close Federal Loophole

By Mike Maharrey

Today, August 15, 2016 the California Assembly voted 66-8 to pass a bill that not only bolsters restrictions on state officials from seizing property without due process, but throws a wrench into federal efforts to do the same.

Sen. Holly Mitchell (D-Los Angeles) introduced Senate Bill 443 (SB443) last year. The legislation sets additional restrictions on the state to prevent abuses from civil asset forfeiture, a controversial practice that observers such as the Institute for Justice (IJ) have called “legal plunder.”...
