Five things to know about Marco Rubio

It's a stark contrast: Just one day after Hillary Clinton, who could end up being the oldest Democratic presidential nominee in history, formally jumped into the 2016 race, the man who could be one of the youngest nominees, Marco Rubio, will follow suit.

Here are five things to know about Rubio:

1. Jeb Bush was his political mentor:
2. Rubio is one of the GOP's most promising politicians who also happens to be young:
3. He has struggled to find his footing on immigration:
4. He'll likely make foreign policy a central issue of his campaign:
5. He speaks the language of younger voters:

Emails reveal US officials undermining Blackwater case

The FBI agents have found out that senior officials in the US Justice Department intentionally attempted to undermine the case of Blackwater security guards’ fatal shooting of Iraqi civilians in 2007, internal emails revealed.

The FBI has planned to charge the American contractors with crimes, including weapons charges, manslaughter and attempted manslaughter that could send them to prison for the rest of their lives.

Several emails, obtained by the New York Times, however, revealed that the department’s senior officials were against the move and sought to drop some of the charges in an effort to lighten the sentences.

In September 2007, Blackwater security guards opened fire on unarmed Iraqi people near a bustling traffic circle with machine guns and grenade into Baghdad’s crowded Nisour Square, killing at least 17 people and wounding several others.

"And I have seen the great accomplishments," Clinton added; "the pride of the desert blooming and the start-ups springing up. I’ve held hands with the victims of terrorism in their hospital rooms, visited a bombed-out pizzeria in Jerusalem, walked along the fence near Gilo. And I know with all my heart how important it is that our relationship go from strength to strength."

Poets’ Talk: “Why Is This World So Sad?” And, “The Armor of God”

GC: Why is this world so sad? Do you have a religious answer? A faith-based answer?

CO: Life is suffering, and the ancient story of John the Baptist and Herod belongs to modern history…. Our “Herod” (POTUS) stands militarily above all other nations, and only Russia seems to stop the U.S. from cutting off (bombing) any head(s) our Controllers desire.

They intimidate the Vatican, and instead of “putting on the armor of God,” (St. Paul), the Roman Catholic Church often acquiesces, and by the “sin of omission,” helps hasten the making of a Rich Man & Lazarus world, an inevitable War of Civilizations.

At any rate, how will that “Ole Time Religion” square with this basically unimaginable world towards which we are racing?

The New “Water Barons”: Wall Street Mega-Banks are Buying up the World’s Water

A disturbing trend in the water sector is accelerating worldwide. The new “water barons” — the Wall Street banks and elitist multibillionaires — are buying up water all over the world at unprecedented pace. Familiar mega-banks and investing powerhouses such as Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan Chase, Citigroup, UBS, Deutsche Bank, Credit Suisse, Macquarie Bank, Barclays Bank, the Blackstone Group, Allianz, and HSBC Bank, among others, are consolidating their control over water. Wealthy tycoons such as T. Boone Pickens, former President George H.W. Bush and his family, Hong Kong’s Li Ka-shing, Philippines’ Manuel V. Pangilinan and other Filipino billionaires, and others are also buying thousands of acres of land with aquifers, lakes, water rights, water utilities, and shares in water engineering and technology companies all over the world.

Anti-vaccination parents face $15,000 welfare hit under ‘No Jab’ reforms

PARENTS who refuse to vaccinate their kids will be denied up to $15,000 a year in childcare rebates and welfare under tough new rules won byThe Sunday Telegraph.

Our No Jab, No Play campaign has scored a stunning victory, with bipartisan support for the ‘‘conscientious objector’’ loophole to be completely closed to protect all children.

Prime Minister Tony Abbott and Social Services Minister Scott Morrison will today announce the historic reforms, which mean parents who fail to immunise their children will no longer be paid the $200-a-week childcare benefit, the $7500-a-year childcare rebate or the $726 Family Tax Benefit A annual supplement.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Back in 1976, the US Government mandated vaccinations for the swine flu,. then had to call them off when the vaccine killed fifty times as many people as the flu itself. Today the big push is for measles vaccination because of the measles epidemic which oddly enough seems to hit the children who have actually had the vaccine. So far, the US Vaccine Court has acknowledged more than 100 deaths caused by the measles vaccine, while nobody in the US has died of measles itself in the last ten years!

Are you SURE you want to let politicians decide what medications you must take while they pocket huge campaign contributions from the makers of those dangerous products?

Big Banks Require Tellers To Use Predatory Practices

Front-line workers at our nation's big banks — tellers, loan interviewers and customer service representatives — are required by their employers to exploit customers, according to a revealing report out today from the Center for Popular Democracy (CPD). Big banks have internal systems of penalties and rewards that entice employees to push subprime loans and credit cards on customers who would be better off without them.

CPD's report outlines several illegal predatory practices big banks have been caught employing, usually via their front-line workers:
-Blatantly discriminatory lending:
-Manipulating payment processing to maximize overdraft charges:
-Forcing sale of unneeded products:
-Manipulative sales quotas:

As the report concludes, "Our nation’s big banks are committed to a model that jeopardizes our communities and prevents bank employees from having a voice in their workplace."

"How can such a country be trusted?"

The emerging deal, which is to be finalised by June 30, would leave Iran with "significant nuclear capabilities," he said.

Meet The Secretive Group That Runs The World

Over the centuries there have been many stories, some based on loose facts, others based on hearsay, conjecture, speculation and outright lies, about groups of people who "control the world." Boston Marathon Bombings’ Guilty Verdict Exposed as a Gross Travesty of Justice

Despite Dzhokhar Tsarnaev pleading not guilty to the 30 counts (17 carrying the death penalty) he was charged within a week after the April 15th bombings in 2013, his lead defense attorney Judy Clark several days ago conceded to the jury that her client was guilty in her closing argument. Apparently blaming the dead brother whose due process was denied became Dzhokhar’s only defense strategy. The defense team insisted that he was coerced and bullied by his older brother into committing alleged acts of terrorism. Considering no real solid proof other than photos placing Dzhokhar and older brother Tamerlan both wearing backpacks at the scene of the crime where the two bombs exploded was even presented at the trial, no justice for either the Tsarnaevs nor the many victims can possibly come from this guilty verdict.

Webmaster's Commentary:

When the client pleads not guilty, the lawyer is supposed to follow that instruction. Frankly, the fact that she told the jury her client was guilty should result in her being disbarred and justify an entirely new trial.

Any honest lawyer could get Dzokhar acquitted on the following piece of evidence alone!

No. 83-1035.

Argued October 30, 1984

Held:

The Tennessee statute is unconstitutional insofar as it authorizes the use of deadly force against, as in this case, an apparently unarmed, nondangerous fleeing suspect; such force may not be used unless necessary to prevent the escape and the officer has probable cause to believe that the suspect poses a significant threat of death or serious physical injury to the officer or others. The Dönmeh: The Middle East’s Most Whispered Secret (Part I)

Israel has always been reluctant to describe the Turkish massacre of the Armenians by the Turks in 1915 as “genocide.” It has always been believed that the reason for Israel’s reticence was not to upset Israel’s close military and diplomatic ties with Turkey. However, more evidence is being uncovered that the Armenian genocide was largely the work of the Dönmeh leadership of the Young Turks. Historians like Ahmed Refik, who served as an intelligence officer in the Ottoman army, averred that it was the aim of the Young Turks to destroy the Armenians, who were mostly Christian. The Young Turks, under Ataturk’s direction, also expelled Greek Christians from Turkish cities and attempted to commit a smaller-scale genocide of the Assyrians, who were also mainly Christian.

Deutsche Bank on brink of biggest ever Libor-rigging fine

German financial giant set to exceed $1.5bn paid by UBS over rigging of interest rate benchmark

Deutsche Bank is close to agreeing a record fine of more than $1.5bn (£1bn) over manipulating Libor, with the German financial giant also expected to plead guilty to fraud in the UK.

The bank will be one of the last to pay out in the Libor-rigging scandal, which emerged almost three years ago when Barclays blew the whistle on rigging rates.

The Financial Conduct Authority in London, as well as US regulators, are close to agreeing a fine with Deutsche Bank, which will be the biggest-ever bill for Libor.

Banks have also been fined by Dutch, Swiss, and EU regulators for manipulating benchmarks. For years, traders colluded to manipulate Libor - a benchmark that sets the interest rates for billions in financial products.
