GLOBAL FINANCE GRINDS TO A HALT

Global finance grinds to a halt as Bloomberg terminals black out
The outage that struck Bloomberg’s popular trading portals was apparently not the result of a cyber attack.

Though Business Insider has reported a rumor (* http://www.businessinsider.com/reason-for-the-global-bloomberg-outage-... ) that someone spilled a can of coke on a server somewhere , Fortune remains skeptical. (Revenge, perhaps, for former three-term New York City mayor Michael Bloomberg’s failed bid to outlaw big soda drinks? The former mayor recently returned to lead the company he founded in 1981.)

The New World Disorder - They Knew Exactly What They Were Doing

Three decades ago, with the end of the Cold War and the dismantling of the South American dictatorships, many hoped that the much talked about ‘peace dividend’ promised by Bush senior and Thatcher would actually materialise. No such luck. Instead, we have experienced continuous wars, upheavals, intolerance and fundamentalisms of every sort – religious, ethnic and imperial. The exposure of the Western world’s surveillance networks has heightened the feeling that democratic institutions aren’t functioning as they should, that, like it or not, we are living in the twilight period of democracy itself.

Wal-Mart suddenly closed 5 stores and laid off thousands of workers and no one knows why

Some employees believe that the stores were closed because of worker protests for higher pay.

Employees of the Pico Rivera store were among the first to hold Black Friday protests in 2012.

"This is the first store that went on strike," an employee told CBS Los Angeles. "This is the first store in demanding changes for Walmart."

Lawyer representing whistle blowers finds malware on drive supplied by cops

According to court documents filed last week in the case, Campbell provided police officials with an external hard drive for them to load with e-mail and other data responding to his discovery request. When he got it back, he found something he didn't request. In a subfolder titled D:\Bales Court Order, a computer security consultant for Campbell allegedly found three well-known trojans, including:

  • Win32:Zbot-AVH[Trj], a password logger and backdoor
  • NSIS:Downloader-CC[Trj], a program that connects to attacker-controlled servers and downloads and installs additional programs, and

Congress is Attempting to Reauthorize Key Patriot Act Provisions by Sneaking it Into “USA Freedom Act”

Yet with Section 215’s lifespan now stretching to a matter of weeks, supporters of broad surveillance powers have yet to put forth a bill for their preservation – evidence, opponents believe, that the votes for reauthorization do not exist, particularly not in the House of Representatives.

More likely, according to a multiple Hill sources, is a different option under consideration: making the major NSA reform bill of the last Congress the point of departure for reauthorizing 215 in the current one.

The bill would not abridge NSA collection of Americans’ international communications, nor prevent the NSA or the FBI from warrantlessly searching through its troves of them for Americans’ identifying information. Nor would it restrict a constellation of surveillance efforts authorized by a Reagan-era executive order. Even a recently disclosed bulk domestic phone records collection dragnet by the Drug Enforcement Agency would be untouched.

Hillary Clinton Is Grooming A Former Goldman Banker To Become America's Next Treasury Secretary

For years on end, many wondered how it is possible that Gary Gensler allowed Wall Street firms to manipulate, rig, and otherwise abuse the US commodity market which he, as head of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission from 2009 until 2014, was supposed to regulate.

Some, such as this website, suggested that what Gensler was doing was simply protecting his former colleagues from civil or criminal investigation and prosecution. After all Gensler is far better known for not only having worked at Goldman Sachs for 18 years most recently as co-head of finance, prior to joining the CFTC, but for becoming the youngest ever Goldman partner, at the tender age of 30.

    Tower of Greed

As citizens we simply expect to be treated with dignity and a certain amount of respect. Speaking for myself, is it too much to ask that when I go to a place of business for that business to operate in a manner that is comfortable and that I don’t feel like I am being lied to and my money stolen? Well, if you do business with a bank that is all you can expect to receive; dishonor and theft. If you read the article in full, as I requested, you now know exactly what I am talking about. The ECC (Economic Consultative Committee), fewer than 50, (yes FEWER than 50 people) meet twelve times a year to determine how we, the citizens of the world, are going to be sheered like sheep by the ruling and banking class. Can you imagine if we met, in secret, to plot against the government, the banks and the corporations? Wouldn’t we have a missile or rifle shoved up our back side? Wouldn’t we be thrown in prison, if we were lucky, as an enemy of the state?

Uncle Sam Wants Your Keys, Says 'Trust Me'

For months, federal law enforcement agencies and industry have been deadlocked on a highly contentious issue: Should tech companies be obliged to guarantee government access to encrypted data on smartphones and other digital devices, and is that even possible without compromising the security of law-abiding customers?

Recently, the head of the National Security Agency provided a rare hint of what some U.S. officials think might be a technical solution. Why not, suggested Adm. Michael S. Rogers, require technology companies to create a digital key that could open any smartphone or other locked device to obtain text messages or photos, but divide the key into pieces so that no one person or agency alone could decide to use it?

Ukraine Blocks 10,000 Websites, Confiscates a Newspaper

As I reported yesterday, the Security Bureau of Ukraine, on April 7th, had seized and disappeared two Odessa bloggers, who were trying to get an independent investigation, and ultimate prosecution, of the individuals who participated in the 2 May 2014 massacre of regime opponents, and who burned, shot, and clubbed to death perhaps over 200 in the Odessa Trade Unions Building - the event that precipitated the breakaway of Donbass from the rest of the former Ukraine, the country's civil war.

And I also reported that April 7th saw the official announcement that, "The security service of Ukraine ... has discontinued operation of a number of Internet sites that were used to perpetrate information campaigns of aggression on the part of the Russian Federation aimed at violent change or overthrow of the constitutional order and territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine."

Government, Military, & Business Use Humans as Guinea Pigs

Below is a list depicting the rampant use of humans as guinea pigs in government, military, and medical experiments over the last century. Links to reliable sources are provided to confirm the information on each item presented. There are still today officials in the government, military, and even business leaders who sadly feel no need to inform us when we are used in potentially hazardous experiments.

Note that some of these experiments specifically targeted minorities and those in poor areas. Thankfully, this kind of unethical experimentation is rare now, but it continues in hidden pockets around the globe. And large-scale experimentation with risky technologies like genetically modified foods, nuclear power, and nanotechnology used in consumer goods is still rarely questioned in the media or government.

Mother of Boston Bomber Breaks Silence: 'It was all fabricated by the CIA'

From their homes in Chechnya and Dagestan, two predominantly Muslim regions of Russia, some of his family members have tried to convince Tsarnaev to fire his court-appointed lawyer, Judy Clarke, who has taken a surprising approach to his defense.

In one of her first arguments before the jury after entering a not-guilty plea, Clarke said that her client is indeed responsible for the “senseless, horrific, misguided acts.” But in committing these crimes, she argued that he was acting under the direction of his older brother Tamerlan, who was killed in a shootout with authorities soon after the bombing.

This line of defense has outraged many of Tsarnaev’s relatives, who have tried to convince him to dismiss Clarke and ask for a lawyer who will argue his innocence. “Why do we even need defense attorneys if they just tell the jury he is guilty?” his aunt asks. “What’s the point?”

    Webmaster's Commentary:

The Only Two Tools in the US Tool Bag: Bombs and Starvation

The US has become the bully on the block and seemingly has only two weapons to use in forcing people to accept our will: one is bombs and the other is harsh economic sanctions. Economic sanctions can easily prove worse than bombs, because they do not discriminate and target the innocent. For over 50 years we imposed harsh economic sanctions on the people of Cuba, and for 50 years the "people" of Cuba were deprived of necessities and suffered. We recently relented, but repeatedly during the 50-year sanction period, the rest of the world begged us, and overwhelmingly voted in the UN every year, to have the US remove its sanctions. We ignored the world's pleas, and for 50 years defied the entire world in punishing the people of Cuba.

A federal judge just ruled that the Third Amendment to the Bill of Rights – which guards against quartering of troops – would not apply to police forcibly occupying a home, as police are not considered troops.

Michigan bill would exempt some police body cam footage from FOIA

A bill pending in the Michigan Legislature would exempt some footage from police body-cams, which are currently being tested in Detroit, from public record request in the state.

The bill, sponsored by state Rep. Jim Runestad (R-White Lake Township), comes as police departments across the U.S. have faced increased scrutiny in wake of the deaths of Walter Scott in South Carolina, Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri, and Eric Garner in New York. All three were unarmed black males who died at the hands of white police officers.

    Ed Miliband And The Jews

Just a few month ago, in a speech in front of the Labour Friends Of Israel Lobby group, Ed Miliband - the Labour party’s current leader, produced one of the most embarrassing in the history of modern British politics:

“I want you to know”, Miliband told The Lobby, “that if I become Prime Minister in less than a year’s time, I will be proud to do so as a friend of Israel, a Jew and, most of all, someone who feels so proud to be part of the community gathered here today.” (http://press.labour.org.uk/post/89056233474/ed-miliband-speech-to-labo...)

JADE: A Tool for Rapid Crisis Action Planning - PDF

The Joint Assistant for Deployment and Execution (JADE) offers a new technique for rapid force deployment planning, especially in crisis situations. JADE is being developed by BBN Technologies under contract to the Air Force Research Lab and the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). It is being designed to operate within the next generation Global Command and Control System. JADE implements state of the art technology to reduce the time typically required for building a Time Phased Force Deployment Data package, which presently takes days or weeks, down to approximately one hour. In order to support the command and control needs of planners today and in the twenty-first century, several challenges are being met

    Webmaster's Commentary:

Note sure if this is the JADE in JADE HELM, but interesting nonetheless.

Scurrilous Corporate Thieves Are Stealing Workers’ Comp

The infamous anti-labor bully, Wal-Mart, is among the leaders, but so are such prestigious chains as Macy’s and Nordstrom, along with Lowe’s, Kohl’s and Safeway. Their goal is to gut our nation’s workers compensation program, freeing corporate giants to injure or even kill employees in the workplace without having to cover all (or, in many cases, any) of the lost wages, medical care or burial expenses of those harmed.

Jeff Dickstein, the lawyer who successfully represented former IRS enforcement officer Joe Bannister in court, has some advice for potential non tax filers; Joe Bannister also discusses how his Catholic faith helped him through his fight with the IRS and the future of the tax freedom movement.

Galice Miners Will Do Battle With Bureau Of Land Management

BLM recently (3/18/15) issued two Stop Orders on a mine, citing authority under their 3809 regulations, despite the fact that this is one of the oldest active claims in the country. The location date of this mine is so old that one of the location notices (the legal title to the mine) was actually first recorded in the original Galice Mining District Recorder’s book in 1876 and then later transcribed into the Josephine County Clerk’s records once the county assumed recording duties. Under the 1955 Surface Resources Act, claims of this age have exclusive surface rights unless the Department of Interior utilized a mechanism outlined in that Act to severe those surface rights. Demands to BLM to produce evidence of their surface authority in accordance to the 1955 Act have thus far garnered only “because we say so” answers and numerous stonewalling tactics. The Stop Orders came after several months of back and forth maneuvering from both sides, and are clearly retaliatory in nature.

    Webmaster's Commentary:

And again, the Enclave Clause in the Constitution prohibits the federal Government from owning or controlling land other that what is beneath Federal Government buildings, military bases, or Federal Infrastructure such as harbors, dams, and airports. The US Government has been stealing the peoples' lands since the "Nixon Shock" to pledge those lands as collateral on government borrowing.

“I Have Some Issues With The Constitution” – BLM Contract Deputy Sheriff Jason Stanton

While serving a BLM Stop Order upon the Sugar Pine Mine, BLM Contract Deputy Jason Stanton, when told by the parties involved that they were ‘Constitutional people’, Deputy Stanton replied, “I have issues with the Constitution. Below are two sworn affidavits from two witnesses to the exchange.

Issues with the Constitution? Really? Deputy Stanton, you swore an oath to defend the Constitution against all enemies, both foreign and domestic. If you had “issues” with the Constitution, then why did you swear an oath to defend it? Are you saying your oath is meaningless? By extension, are you announcing you have no intention of honoring your sworn oath? If so, then you should be honorable enough to resign from your position of trust. At the very least, the Sheriff of Josephine County, your superior, should give you some instruction on your duties, and the meaning of your Oath. You took the oath, which says:

‘It’s our money’ podcast: be educated on monetary/credit reform or continue looting by oligarchs

    *hyperlinks/podcast live at source*

Note: I make the following factual assertions as a National Board Certified Teacher of US Government, Economics, and History, with all economics factual claims receiving zero refutation since I began writing in 2008 among Advanced Placement Macroeconomics teachers on our discussion board, public audiences of these articles, and international conferences. I challenge readers to empower their civic voices with the strongest comprehensive facts most important to building a brighter future. I invite professionals, academics, and citizens to add their voices for the benefit of all Earth’s inhabitants.

Human beings are looted by asset-hole oligarchs literally by the trillions every year.

These lying sacks of spin are the .01% banksters, and “leaders” of government and corporate media.

Human beings will either continue being looted and lied-to, or earn voices for justice from basic education that includes how to create what we use for money:

Inventor of Antivirus Sofware: The Government Is Planting Malicious Software On Your Phone So It Can See What You're Doing

Top computer and internet experts say that NSA spying breaks the functionality of our computers and of the Internet. It reduces functionality and reduces security by – for example – creating backdoors that malicious hackers can get through.

Remember, American and British spy agencies have intentionally weakened security for many decades. And it’s getting worse and worse. For example, they plan to use automated programs to infect millions of computers.

    The Criminalization of Cash

Of course, there are many reasons presented as to why we need to transition into a cashless society. Cash is only used by criminals and terrorists, after all (just ask the government of France or the FBI or Amtrak or, presumably, the authors of House Bill 195 in Louisiana). Cash carries germs. Cash is so, like, 20th century.

    Webmaster's Commentary:

There is another aspect to keep in mind.

When cash is in your pocket, it is not available to the banks to use in calculating their required cash reserves. When you use plastic, the funds move from one banking computer to another banking computer instantly, and is still available to the system as a whole to meet their reserve requirements.

There is over a trillion dollars in cash in circulation. Trapping it inside the banking system gives them more room to play around in and delay the coming crash!
