Finally the Russians Have Caught On That Negotiation with Washington Is Pointless

No more provocations from Washington. Period. The insanity must stop. Now.

If the dumbshit Western peoples and the corrupt EU, UK, Canadian, Japanese, and Australian political puppets don’t wake up ASAP, war will be upon us, a war that cannot be won.

The criminal neoconservatives must immediately be removed from power in Washington before the insane fools start World War 3.

The CIA and the Pentagon must be put under tight constraints. And Donald Trump needs a massive trustworthy security guard.

The European governments need to immediately disband the NATO alliance.

And all of these anti-BDS politicians and leaders are simply enabling this criminality and “chutzpah.”

Organized Zionism seems to conveniently forget that the original creator of these types of economic boycotts, sanctions and divestment programs to get other nations, individuals or political organizations to comply with their demands, or bring them to their knees, began with the Zionists themselves.

Did the Pentagon Bomb Syrian Army to Kill Ceasefire Deal?

The US has officially taken responsibility for the incident which it called a “mistake”...

A rift between the Pentagon and the White House turned into open rebellion on Saturday when two US F-16s and two A-10 warplanes bombed Syrian Arab Army (SAA) positions at Deir al-Zor killing at least 62 Syrian regulars and wounding 100 others.

Many analysts now wonder whether the attacks are an indication that the neocon-strewn DOD is actively engaged in sabotaging President Obama’s Syria policy, a claim that implies that the Pentagon is led by anti-democratic rebels who reject the Constitutional authority of the civilian leadership. Saturday’s bloodletting strongly suggests that a mutiny is brewing at the War Department.

How Trump Wins the Debate

Trump has the same imperative and same opportunity as JFK and Reagan.

He has to meet and exceed expectations, which are not terribly high. He has to convince a plurality of voters, who seem prepared to vote for him, that he’s not a terrible risk, and that he will be a president of whom they can be proud.

He has to show the country a Trump that contradicts the caricature created by those who dominate our politics, culture and press.

The Trump on stage at Hofstra University will have 90 minutes to show that the malicious cartoon of Donald Trump is a libelous lie.

Putin moves his most advanced GROWLER anti-aircraft missile system in range of NATO Baltic base as part of Russia's belligerent stance towards the former Soviet satellite states

Russian president Vladimir Putin has moved his most advanced anti-aircraft missile system within range of NATO's Baltic base as he continues to order his nuclear bombers to patrol the North Sea.

The S-400 Triumph, dubbed the SA-21 Growler by NATO, can destroy an aircraft at a range of 250 miles at an altitude of 90,000 feet.

Putin ordered two batteries of the highly-mobile supersonic missile systems to be deployed to the area around St Petersburg, putting a missile shield over much of the Baltic region.

White House Holds Russia ‘Responsible For Air Strikes On Aid Convoy Near Aleppo’

White House on Tuesday asserted that it holds Russia “responsible for air strikes in this space, given that their commitment under the cessation of hostilities was to certainly ground air operations where humanitarian assistance is flowing,” Reuters quoted deputy national security adviser Ben Rhodes as saying. Rhodes called the alleged bombing an “enormous humanitarian tragedy.”

Western Media Blames Russia, Syria For Attack On UN Convoy; Video and Photos Tell Different Story

By Brandon Turbeville

Throughout the entirety of the Syrian crisis, Western media outlets have misrepresented facts and presented outright lies to their audiences regarding virtually every aspect of the war. Particularly when it comes to specific occurrences used to gin up support for greater Western intervention in Syria, these outlets kick it up a notch, launching flurries of disinformation and misinformation designed to leave imprints of false narratives in the minds of half attentive audiences. Incidents such as the Ghouta chemical weapons attack, little Omran, and, now the alleged attack on a U.N. convoy are now parts of a larger narrative. No matter how much they are debunked, confusion and distortion leave behind traces of the narrative embedded in the mind of the consumer.

Still, it is important to point out the false narratives where they do exist in order to deconstruct them as much as possible...

Syria Announces New Offensive Against Aleppo as Truce Talks Fail

The Syrian government has announced a major new offensive against the Nusra Front-held half of the city of Aleppo today, urging locals to avoid areas where terrorists are located and announcing a number of areas through which civilians can flee the area.

The offensive was announced after the latest efforts to revive the already collapsed ceasefire failed. Syrian officials withdrew from the ceasefire on Monday, citing weekend violations. The announcement was vague on whether this offensive would include attempts to send ground forces into the area.

Aleppo has been contested for years, with districts regularly changing hands but no one ever getting control of the entire city. Nusra and the Syrian government have it roughly split down the middle now, with repeated attacks and counterattacks yielding large death tolls but limited territory changes.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Russia, in working in concert with Syria, has been very successful at turning back the jihadists (whether or not the US government is funding and equipping them; if Russia and the Syrian military successfully take back Aleppo, it is all over for the US military presence here, through their jihadists.

Speaking to the US Senate, the Pentagon’s leaders blamed Russia for the Aleppo aid convoy attack, but admitted they “had no facts.” Only US coalition planes should be allowed over Syria, they said, though that would require war against both Syria and Russia.

Defense Secretary Ash Carter and General Joseph Dunford, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, faced the Senate Armed Services Committee on Thursday to report on the ongoing military operations and “national security challenges” faced by the US. They also asked the senators for more reliable funding, saying the uncertainty was hurting the defense industry.

Webmaster's Commentary:

A memo to Sec Def Carter and General Dunsford; if you don't have the facts about who bombed the aid convoy, making an assumption that "Russia or Syria did it" is a recklessly irresponsible allegation.

And besides, cui bono?!? Who benefits from such an act?!? Neither the Russians nor Syrians do.

And again, I would like to politely remind you that a US coalition Predator Drone was spotted shadowing the convoy before the attack happened; if there was no intent to harm, WHY?!?

US coalition Predator drone spotted at time & place of Syria aid convoy attack – Russian military

I would also like to politely point out to you that Russia was invited to get rid of ALL the jihadis working against the government of Damascus (including those funded and equipped by the US government, such as ISIS); the United States military has not at all been invited, thank you very much.

So, gentlemen, it appears that after 4 years of abject failure in getting the alleged "moderate rebels" to create regime change in Damascus, you are contemplating a war against both Russia and Syria to accomplish this.

I would like to strongly caution against such an action at this time, because the US military doesn't have the weaponry; the troop strength; the money, or the manufacturing to accomplish a positive outcome to a conventional war with Russia.

The way in which the weapons and aircraft contracts are awarded in this country is incestuous, because you have politicians who are, in large part, rewarded by generous campaign contributions by the weapons and aircraft makers who get the contracts.

And how this translates, when weapons and aircraft get into the field, is that they do not work at all as advertised; they are late enough as to be obsolete against other countries' weapons, and come with stiff cost overruns.

Need I remind you of the hideous problems with Lockheed Martin's F-35?!?

PENTAGON: F-35 WON’T HAVE A CHANCE IN REAL COMBAT

The F-35's Fatal Flaw: It Might Need to Win a Dogfight (But Can't)

F-35’s Latest Hurdle Could Send It Back To Contracting Purgatory

Gentlemen, first, the contracting process has to be fixed so that when the US government goes to war, it has the weapons, the money, the manufacturing, and the troop strength to insure victory in that endeavor; and right now, this is absolutely not the case.

And secondly, with any contemplated invasion of Syria to accomplish regime change, even if it involves war with Russia, the United States government is absolutely not on the right, or moral, side of history here.

And that means that the US government may well loose such a war, so I encourage you both to think long and hard before you commit to this; the aftermath may well be both globally devastating... and irreversible.

RUSSIA'S COUNTER-BLOW: Info War victory and the destroyed Aid Convoy

In a surprising turn of events, Russia struck back at the US and the western media disinformation campaign, causing NATO to back off from claiming that Russia or Syria was responsible for the attack on the Red Crescent aid convoy destroyed earlier this week. This became evident after the public statement of NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg on Wednesday, September 21, in comments to media following an ad-hoc meeting with Russian FM Sergei Lavrov.

Western media outlets previously reported, both through AP and Reuters distributors like the New York Times, LA Times, etc., as well as the UK's Guardian and BBC, that US officials laid the blame on Russia for the attack on the Red Crescent aid convoy in Syria. The attack destroyed nearly twenty of the thirty-one trucks scheduled to arrive in Uram Al-Kubra.

ATTACK ON AID CONVOY KILLS TWENTY, DESTROYS AID - AND OBLITERATES US WAR CRIMES?

“We have studied video footage from the scene from so-called ‘activists’ in detail and did not find any evidence that the convoy had been struck by ordnance”, commented Igor Konashenkov, a Ministry spokesman.

“There are no craters and the exterior of the vehicles do not have the kind of damage consistent with blasts caused by bombs dropped from the air.” His observations are hard to challenge, anyone who has studied the assaults of the “international community” on far away countries over the last decades knows what a bombed truck looks like - what fragments remains of it.

Photographs of the affected lorries show burned out vehicles, metal skeleton intact.

Konashenkov said that damage visible in footage was instead the result of cargo igniting - “oddly” occurring at the same time as militants (formerly Nusra Front) had started a big offensive in nearby Aleppo, backed by tanks, artillery and other heavy equipment.

Syria, Russia refutes claims of targeting humanitarian aid convoy in Aleppo countryside

A military source refuted the reports circulated by malicious media outlets about the Syrian Arab Army targeting a humanitarian aid convoy in Aleppo countryside.

The source told SANA that there’s no truth to the rumors circulated during the past few hours by some media outlets about the Syrian Arab Army targeting a humanitarian aid convoy in Orkem village in Aleppo’s northern countryside.

Russian Defense Ministry: Russian and Syrian air forces did not target any humanitarian aid convoys in Aleppo

Spokesman for the Russian Defense Ministry Igor Konashenkov asserted that neither the Russian Aerospace Forces nor the Syrian Air Force targeted any UN humanitarian aid convoys southwest of Aleppo.

Konashenkov stressed that video recordings don’t show any indication that the humanitarian convoy in question was hit by shells.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Then there is the question of motive. Neither Syria nor Russia have a reason to hit the humanitarian convoy. In contrast, Washington DC needed a distraction from their attack on Syrian forces; a means to go on the propaganda offensive and accuse Russia and Syria of being the bad guys.

White House: Russia to Blame Even If They Didn’t Attack Aid Convoy

Yesterday’s apparently airstrikes against a UN aid convoy, destroying between 18-20 trucks and killing some 14 Red Crescent volunteers took multiple turns today, with the US claiming they believe that a pair of Russian warplanes attacked the convoy, potentially as “revenge” for the American attack on a Syrian military base the day before, which killed 83 soldiers.

The Russians are denying this, of course, but perhaps the even more unusual angle is that White House officials have subsequently come forward to insist that the US holds Russia responsible for what happened to the convoy, even if they didn’t actually do it.

Obama aide Ben Rhodes argued that because Russia had made a commitment to the ceasefire and to getting aid flowing in northern Syria, it was obviously their fault that something happened to the convoy, no matter what that actually was.

Webmaster's Commentary:

OK, it's official: both Ben Rhodes and this administration have collectively lost their reality licenses, with this breathtakingly stupid statement!!

Did the US NOT make a commitment to the cease fire, which they destroyed by Saturday's bombing of Syrian military personnel?!?

And why on earth did the US government feel it necessary to keep the terms of the agreement with the Russians secret?!?

And besides, cui bono?!?

Who benefited from the bombing of the aid convoy?!?

NOT Russia, for heaven's sake; and not Syria, certainly.

But the US accusations have absolutely no where to go; Russia has meticulously documented where its personnel and equipment were at the time the convoy got bombed, and it was no where even close to where the convoy got bombed.

When Russia Called to Get US to Stop Syria Strike, US Official Wasn’t There

Weekend US airstrikes against a Syrian army base in Deir Ezzor, a protracted error which killed 83 Syrian soldiers and opened up the base for ISIS to overrun it, carried on longer than it should have, because when Russia made the call to warn the Americans, the guy who was supposed to answer it wasn’t there.

The Russian military called and asked to speak to this “point of contact” official at the coordinating center which is running the US-led bombing campaigns in Syria, and were told he wasn’t available. The Russians called back again and finally got somebody who understood that the US was bombing the wrong target.

The Pentagon dismissed concern about the lapse, saying the contact “wasn’t expecting a call” and therefore didn’t feel obliged to sit next to the phone. Yet as intense US airstrikes were ongoing, in the middle of a US-Russia negotiated ceasefire, it seems like it wasn’t a total shock that a call ended up made.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Translation: the deliberate absence of the US contact made sure that the bombing could last just long enough to coordinate with ISIS as they rushed in to overtake the area.

Pentagon 'Succeeded in Ruining' Lavrov-Kerry Deal on Syria

The fragile ceasefire deal hammered out by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and US Secretary of State John Kerry earlier this month has been hanging in the balance, with the main threat coming from the Pentagon, Fyodor Lukyanov, editor-in-chief of Russia in Global Affairs, told newspaper Vzglyad.

Webmaster's Commentary:

IF, in fact, the Pentagon is "at war" with the White House over Syria, this country, this government, and the world are in a very perilous state of affairs.

Clinton Won’t Reject Idea Bombings Were Russian Plot for Trump

Blaming Russia has been the go-to strategy for Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton since the convention, and that appears unchanged today, with reporters asking if Clinton was concerned that the weekend bombings in New York and New Jersey were a Russian plot to try to get Donald Trump elected.

An absurd question, but Clinton was very specific in not saying no, instead insisting only that she didn’t “want to speculate” and then launching into a diatribe accusing Trump of boosting ISIS with his campaign rhetoric throughout the election cycle.

Clinton cited former CIA Director Michael Hayden’s claim that Trump is “being used as a recruiting sergeant for the terrorists,” and even accused Trump of “giving aid and comfort” to ISIS with his comments. She went on to insist she is the only candidate who knows how to fight terrorism.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Talk about tin foil hattery in the extreme!

The question, gently lobbed to Hillary like a softball by a sycophantic Bloomberg presstitute, was to suggest the possibility that Russia was behind this, in order to shore up Trump's campaign.

And somewhere, inside the bowels of the Kremlin, Vlad Putin is laughing his head off, at the insanity of such a charge.

And if Clinton is, as she alleges she is "...the only candidate who knows how to fight terrorism.", then can she please explain to me how she utterly, completely failed at preventing the attack against Benghazi, which lead to the assassination of US Ambassador Stevens?!?

How did she fail so utterly spectacularly at this critical moment?!?

Because if she failed here, she will ultimately fail as commander in chief, when it comes to the security of this country; and this is not a chance American voters can take right now, looking at both domestic and international threats.

Syria Ceasefire Collapses in Wake of Weekend US Airstrikes

The Syrian ceasefire formally ended today, with the Syrian military announcing it was no longer sustainable amid growing rebel strikes. This was seen as all but inevitable since Saturday, when a botched US airstrike killed 83 Syrian soldiers and allowed ISIS to advance into crucial area around the Deir Ezzor Airport.

The ceasefire was already fraying, and the US airstrike effectively obliged Syria and Russia to launch renewed airstrikes against ISIS in the area around Deir Ezzor, if only to try to reclaim some of the territory the US strike cost them around the vital airport.

The truce began last Monday evening, and was a rousing success for the first few days, with no civilian deaths for several days, giving the country a rare period of calm after several years of war. There were some skirmishes reported later in the week, however, and then the US strike, by far the deadliest incident of the week, set off a powderkeg.

It has long been a well established fact that psychopaths on the loony left are existing in a parallel universe, but it is relatively new just how desperate they have become since the public is waking up...

Donald Trump vs Hillary Clinton – The debate

Question: What kind of foreign policy agenda can we expect?

Donald Trump is one of the most unorthodox presidential nominees in American electoral history. He is unpolished and very brash. But some of his foreign policy ideas are intriguing, even common sense. This terrifies and enrages the establishment.

The Hillary Doctrine: if elected, what kind of foreign policy agenda can we expect? Does Clinton hold an extreme view of American exceptionalism? And is she now a neoconservative?

Red Atlantic: Russia Could Choke Air, Sea Lanes To Europe

Russia could hinder US reinforcements headed to Europe in the event of a major war, warned the recently retired Supreme Allied Commander, Gen. Philip Breedlove. It’s well known Russian radars, missiles, and strike planes — “Anti-Access/Area Denial” systems — threaten ships and aircraft across wide swathes of the Black Sea, Eastern Europe, and the Baltic. But Gen. Breedlove’s worries are on a wider scale: He’s anxious about the Atlantic.

Moscow Denies Russian, Syrian Planes Struck Aleppo Aid Convoy

Russian and Syrian aircraft did not carry out any airstrikes against a UN humanitarian aid convoy near the city of Aleppo, Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov said Tuesday. According to the general, the monitoring finished when all humanitarian aid was delivered at around 10:40 GMT. "Further movements of the convoy were not monitored by the Russian side. Only the militants controlling this area know details of the convoy’s location."

US blames Russia after UN aid convoy in Syria targeted by air attack

The US said it blamed Russia for the attack on the convoy, whether or not Russian planes were involved, arguing Moscow was responsible under the ceasefire agreement for reining in Bashar al-Assad’s government forces.

Syrian Army Destroys Leading al-Nusra Unit in Aleppo

It looks like the massacre of Syrian troops by the US has kind of backfired. Sorta like,"Remember The Alamo". Seems to have the Syrians and Russians motivated.

Syrian Army Ends Ceasefire After US Airstrike Kills More Than 80 Soldiers Fighting Islamic State

By Baran Hines

Syrian government officials have declared the military will no longer observe the ceasefire agreed to by the United States and Russia one week ago. The goal of the agreed ceasefire was to end the fighting in the Syrian proxy war, eliminate terrorist groups in Syria and then negotiate a political agreement for reforms. Monday marked the end of a 7 day period which was supposed have reduced violence before the peace process could move to the next step of the US and Russia targeting Islamic State and Al Nusra terrorists.

The decision comes after the United States admitted to bombing Syrian military forces who were fighting the Islamic State on Saturday...

Bombing resumes in Aleppo as Syria army ends ceasefire

LINK FIXED!

Damascus says truce is over and claims 'terrorists' have used seven-day lull to rearm while committing 300 violations.

Shells and bombs rained down on rebel-held eastern Aleppo on Monday soon after Syria's army declared an end to a week-long ceasefire agreed between Russia and the United States.

Damascus and its ally Moscow blamed rebels for the collapse of the truce, but Washington said the terms had not been met for a key aspect of the deal - US-Russia cooperation against militants.

Future aid to Ukraine in jeopardy over gas monopoly takeover

Ukraine may lose hundreds of millions of dollars in aid after a surprise decision by the government to take direct control over the country's gas production and transportation company.

The takeover may be in violation of the $17.5 billion bailout deal with international creditors and comes just days after Kiev received a $1 billion tranche from the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

“If all the facts we have learned from third parties are confirmed, we are very disturbed and this development is very serious,” said Anton Usov, a spokesperson for the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, quoted by the Financial Times.

According to the newspaper, another lender to Ukraine, the World Bank, is also concerned about the situation with Naftogaz.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Ukrainians are not going to be happy in dealing with high energy costs (if they can even get it) coupled with freezing temperatures this winter!!

US Desperately Pumps "Humanitarian" Smokescreen For Failing Syria Ceasefire

Washington’s lie about seeking a genuine ceasefire in Syria is in danger of being exposed for the world to see. So, hilariously, a charade is being hurriedly orchestrated in order to hide this ignominy. As usual, the Syrian government is being scapegoated for the real cause of violence in the country. That real cause is Washington’s state-sponsored terrorist-fueled war for regime change.

After four days of continuing deadly breaches by US-backed «rebels» since the Kerry-Lavrov ceasefire deal was implemented last Monday, Washington and the dutiful Western mainstream media are preparing the inevitable excuses.

Rather than focusing on ongoing «rebel» violence in contravention of the truce, US Secretary of State John Kerry fingered the Syrian government for preventing humanitarian access to insurgent-held eastern Aleppo as the reason for why the ceasefire is in danger of collapsing.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Wounded animals are dangerous.

And right now, the Clinton Cartel and their minions are feeling ...desperately wounded, by what might appear to some as a resounding, potential presidential triumph by Donald Trump.

Unfortunately, the closer it appears that Trump will win this election handily, the closer we are to a potential war against Russia, China, and Korea, as "payback" to Trump, even before he has had the opportunity to take the Oath of Office in January.

Democratic operatives will be ruthless in setting up Trump to fail, even if it means starting shooting wars with Russia, China, and Korea.

Russia Condemns Obama’s Decision to Conduct Illegal Air Strikes against Syrian Forces, Washington’s Objective was to Protect ISIS Terrorists

“It is highly suspicious that the United States chose to conduct this particular air strike at this time,” Russia’s ambassador Vitaly Churkin said.

“It was quite significant and not accidental that it happened just two days before the Russian-American arrangements were supposed to come into full force,” Churkin added.

“The beginning of work of the Joint Implementation Group was supposed to be September 19. So if the US wanted to conduct an effective strike on Al-Nusra or ISIS, in Deir ez-Zor or anywhere else, they could wait two more days and coordinate with our military and be sure that they are striking the right people.”

“Instead they chose to conduct this reckless operation,”

“So it may well be, one has to conclude, that the airstrike has been conducted in order to derail the operation of the Joint Implementation Group and actually prevent it from being set in motion,” …

Webmaster's Commentary:

Were I a betting woman, I would almost be willing to bet that such US/Israeli/Australian attacks against Syrian forces, and perhaps - soon - against Russian forces in Syria- will be happening as well.

The goal of these attacks will be to goad Russia into a military response against US military assets, and the moment that happens, we will be looking at war with Russia.

Also, as reported at globalresearch.ca yesterday:

The ISIS launched attacks on the Syrian army positions in Deir Ezzor only 7 minutes after the US-led coalition’s airstrikes on Saturday, a military source said, adding that the air and ground assault were highly coordinated, According to FNA report. The source said after the coalition’s pounding of the Syrian army near Deir Ezzor airbase, the ISIS could take full control of al-Tharda mountain and then Deir Ezzor military base, adding that the army and national defense forces deployed near the airbase immediately won it back from the terrorists by launching a counterattack. Noting that Deir Ezzor is now almost in tranquility and no change has occurred in the military map of the region, the source said by attacking the Syrian army positions, the US seeks to prevent military operations to break the terrorists’ siege on the city.

And I have to ask myself; how could this not be true, if it only took ISIS 7 minutes after the US-lead coalition bombing attacks to attack this position?!?

The Threat of World War III: The Great Unmentionable in the 2016 Campaign

The most important issue in the US presidential election is the one neither of the two main capitalist candidates, Democrat Hillary Clinton and Republican Donald Trump, is talking about: the increasing likelihood that the next US president will order direct military action against Russia, China or North Korea, all countries that possess nuclear weapons.

The mounting danger of such a war was underscored by the US bombing of a Syrian government military post on Saturday, killing dozens of Syrian army soldiers. The US claim that this was done accidentally—against a major, well-known Syrian military installation, the Deir ez-Zor Air Base—has no credibility. A similar US “mistake” could easily lead to the death of Russian soldiers and escalate into a full-scale military confrontation between the two powers that control 93 percent of the world’s nuclear weapons.

Webmaster's Commentary:

On his last paragraph, the writer is absolutely dead wrong; it was Hillary Clinton's campaign in 2008 where those rumors originated.

Of the two candidates, at this moment, Clinton seems the more war-centric, particularly against Iran, and Trump appears to want to ratchet down tensions with (at least) Russia, and perhaps Korea and China as well.

I am not exceptionally "giddy with joy" concerning the choices US voters have in our Presidential election; but right now, I am very much edging toward Trump, because he is a businessman, and is not part of the DC establishment.

I frankly think our country needs that right now.

And although I do want to see a woman president of this country, and soon, that woman most fit to run this country is not Hillary Clinton; she comes with more moral, financial, and emotional "baggage" than does Kim Kardashian on a photo shoot!!

ISIS Overruns Syrian Army Base After US Bombings

In the defense of the Deir Ezzor Airport, the Syrian military has long depended on an army base in Jebel Tharda to repel ISIS advances. That base has been lost this weekend, after a disastrous series of US-led airstrikes killed a large number of Syrian troops defending the base, and ISIS quickly overran what was left.

For over 20 minutes, the coalition warplanes attacked the base. According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the attack killed at least 83 Syrian troops and wounded 120 others. The US Central Command claimed they thought the base belonged to ISIS.

It does now. With the forces decimated by the US attack, ISIS quickly overran the base. Syrian state media claimed an ongoing effort to recover the site, but it does not appear to have been successful yet, as ISIS managed to shoot down a Syrian warplane, flying out of Deir Ezzor Airport, over Jebel Tharda.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Looks as though this is just the outcome the US and Israel wanted to see happen here.

Payback? Syrian Armed Forces Reportedly Shoot Down US Spy Drone Over Deir ez-Zor

A US Air Force surveillance aircraft was reportedly downed on Sunday in the province of Deir ez-Zor, where American jets bombed Syrian forces encircled by Daesh militants a day earlier, killing 62 personnel.

According to Press TV, the Syrian Army brought down a UAV that was spotted hovering over mountains in the Jabal Therdeh area in the east of the province. AMN new agency, presenting itself a source of news from the Arabian world, specified that shots were fired by the Syrian Arab Army's 137th Artillery Brigade of the 17th Tank Division, though noting that drone managed to leave the Syrian airspace.

Syrian military declares U.S.-Russia-led ceasefire over

Syria’s military on Monday declared the seven-day initial period for a ceasefire brokered by the United States and Russia over, without indicating whether the truce would reinstated.

It said in a statement that “terrorist groups,” a term the Syrian government uses to refer to all insurgents fighting against it, had failed to commit to any of the provisions of the deal, and had used the ceasefire to rearm while violating it 300 times.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is precisely the response the US government was hoping for, after its bombing of Syrian troops at Deir Ezzor.

Were I a betting woman, I would not bet against many more incursions into Syria, against both Syrian and Russian troops, by the US military.

U.S., ISRAEL LAUNCH AIRSTRIKES ON SYRIAN GOVERNMENT FORCES - DIRECTLY SUPPORTING ISIS AND AL-QAEDA

Earlier today the Syrian Arab Army had announced that 1,000 fresh soldiers arrived in Deir Ezzor to liberate it from ISIS.

The U.S. planes came from Erbil in the Kurdish separatist region of Iraq.

The Syrian troops were holding positions on Jabal Tharda, a mountain that overlooks Deir Ezzor's airport. The mountain is now fully under Islamic State control. With this IS has firecontrol over the airport and the Deir Ezzor garrison as well as more than 150,000 civilians living under government protection are thereby cut off from supplies and any further reinforcements. Government forces have launched a counterattack to regain the vital position.

Webmaster's Commentary:

So let me get my head around the reality that the US is working with Israeli in supporting Isis and Al Qaeda in Syria: any questions?!?!?

And that performance by U.S. Ambassador Power at the UN on Saturday at the emergency meeting called by Russia over the incident was extraordinarily cringeworthy, to say the least, and engineered to try to get a rise out of the Russian Ambassador, Churkin; the only thing that happened was, at one point, he walked out of the room.

And if Power was going to elaborate on atrocities, how about the atrocities committed by the US/Israeli enabled and funded Isis and Al Qaeda?!?

Samantha Power walks out during UN Russian speech over US bombing of Syrian army

And I understand him. One look at Samantha Power is enough to understand, that there's just trouble in that head. Diplomat, the representative of the leading country at the highest international body, comes out for solo performance looking not like a diplomat but an old tramp that was just dragged out of bed, with a hangover. It's clear that this did not escape the eye of all the participants of the meeting of the Security Council. They just diplomatically talked about something else. Including the inappropriate behavior.

According to Churkin, when he began to share with the audience his concerns over Syria (a US strike in Deir ez-Zor on SAR troops), Samantha Power did not listen. Instead, she walked out to talk to the press, where she began to spit out nonsense about Russian-bombed hospitals and a breach of agreements - saying the moderates are bombed. Clearly, the woman had a hangover, had nothing to say, but did not have the energy to listen to criticism. So she exploded.

In response, Moscow has called for an urgent United Nations Security Council meeting and for Washington to explain its actions.

Timing & other aspects of US strike on Syrian army suggest intentional provocation – Churkin

The US’ sudden attempt to “help” the Syrian army fighting ISIS in the eastern city of Deir ez-Zor, which resulted in a strike that killed and injured dozens of soldiers, does not look like an honest mistake, Russia’s UN envoy told journalists at the UNSC meeting.
“It is highly suspicious that the United States chose to conduct this particular air strike at this time,” Russia’s ambassador Vitaly Churkin said.

Churkin questioned why the US suddenly chose to “help” the Syrian army defend Deir ez-Zor after all these years, recalling how American forces just observed terrorists’ movements and did “nothing when ISIS advanced on Palmyra.”

“It was quite significant and not accidental that it happened just two days before the Russian-American arrangements were supposed to come into full force,” Churkin added.

On its own initiative, Russia prolonged the cessation of hostilities for 48 hours, and yesterday it was extended for another 72 hours,” senior Russian General Staff official, Viktor Poznikhir, said at a briefing in Moscow.

But, according to Poznikhir, it is very different on the American side as “the US and the so-called moderate groups under their control didn’t fulfill a single commitment undertaken in the framework of the Geneva arrangements.”

One Billion USD Capital Flows Into Russia in August

World interest rates are about zero or even negative, while yields of Russian Federal Loan Bonds remain fairly attractive to world investors. The Russian stock market remains one of the cheapest in the world, corporate management and financial results are good. The devaluation of the ruble strongly depreciated labor costs and other expenses for Russian companies. In August, the Moscow Central Stock Exchange index was +1,81%, and the Russian Trading System Stock Exchange was +3,03%. Like the majority of other emerging markets, the Russian stock market depends heavily on foreigners; but most importantly, the business world realizes that sanctions failed to isolate Russia and ruin its economy. Russia is not Iraq. Of course, the situation can change in the near future. The increase the Federal Reserve rate, or a sharp, sudden decrease in the rate of the Central Bank of Russia can temporally change investors’ mood. However, it would not reverse the situation.

US forces IMF to change the rules over Ukraine, setting a time bomb under global financial system

Let me remind you that we are talking about the money in the framework of loan agreement to Ukraine for a total amount of $17.5 billion. It is provided under a four-year program of reforms of Ukrainian economy, compiled with the active participation of the IMF. The total amount of external funding, including the fund loan - $40 billion. Under this program, Kiev received the first tranche of $5 billion, then the second ($1.7 billion) and was expecting more. However, the third tranche did not arrive before the end of 2015. The process has stalled. The official explanation was that Ukraine is not able to perform its obligations... For reference, I note that to date Ukraine managed to obtain about $20 billion from the IMF (since 1994). If you look at the files from those years, you will find: Ukraine never fulfilled its obligations, but received the money without delay. So the dog is buried somewhere else.

Rift Appears Between US DoS and Pentagon Over Syrian Deal With Russia

Tensions are simmering in Washington regarding the deal struck by US Secretary of State Kerry and Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov over Syria. There appears to be a rift within the Obama administration with the "party of war" opposing the idea of US-Russian cooperation.

With Hillary as President 'We are Looking at Nuclear War With Russia or China'

James George Jatras also explained the rationale behind the harsh comments about Trump from the Democratic camp and the overall attitude towards the Republican nominee.

Hillary is the candidate of the "deep state", of the oligarchy, he said. In effect. the way the script was supposed to run was that the corresponding co-candidate should have been Jeb Bush so that "we have "Tweedledee – Tweedledum" choices like we usually get."

He also pointed out one reason why people are really concerned about Hillary's political and physical viability and might not want to see her go is that they realize there will be "blood bath in the Democratic party while deciding who succeeds her."

Putin's Adviser: Why Eurasian Union is a Better Deal Than the European Union

...The President's speech emphasized that the broad Eurasian integration, or Greater Eurasia, involves the concept of multi-speed integration, which we used in the framework of the CIS. Countries that were more focused on integration, created the Customs Union. At first, only three states: Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan. Today there is also Armenia and Kyrgyzstan. In parallel, we have a large number of economic agreements within the CIS, including the free trade area, which includes all the CIS States. And the same model is offered by our president for the greater Eurasian integration. Within this model, there are clusters of more cohesive countries, such as a single economic space, for example, of the Eurasian Union. With China's there is emphasis on joint investment projects, which is why, in fact, China initiated the establishment of an international infrastructure investment bank.

Russia Says UN Meeting Cancelled Over US Objections

A hastily scheduled Security Council meeting was canceled because the U.S. does not want to make public details of the Syrian cease-fire deal, Russia's ambassador to the United Nations said Friday.

Vitaly Churkin said there was no point in briefing the council if the U.S. did not want to say exactly what was in the documents outlining the deal hammered out last week by U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

"This briefing is not going to happen and mostly likely we're not going to have a resolution of the Security Council because the United States does not want to share those documents with the members of the Security Council and we believe that we cannot ask them to support a document which they haven't seen," Churkin said.

Ukraine: Where Rape is "Patriotic" and worth 100 Euros

The Ukrainian publication “Korrespondent” has analyzed what, in Ukrainian reality, happens to people who dare to criticize the Kiev government and its policies. The results are shocking, especially given that thieves and pedophile-rapists live at large in today’s Ukraine as long as they are “heroes of the ATO.” Freedom-loving European journalists call criticism of the current Kiev regime, which came to power through a coup d’etat, “anti-Ukrainian activity.” The facts collected by “Korrespondent” will stop anyone in their tracks...

Like WADA's double standards, IMF breaks its own rules to give Ukraine CPR

The IMF came to the aid of Ukraine because the United States still needs it. The total collapse of Ukraine now would be disastrous for American plans. Ukraine is already clinically dead, and doctors in the pay of the US, occasionally inject the country with a doping cocktail for it to have at least, faute de mieux, the appearance of the walking dead. This is why the IMF provided this slice in utter violation of its rules and statutes. This situation does not seem to embarrass the financial institution, even though they have refused loans to other countries (such as Greece and Argentina) for less than that. Indeed according to the same IMF Articles of Agreement, it can not normally lend to:
- A country that has little chance of repaying, or
- A country in default, or
- A country at war.

Narva gets ‘Irish scenario’

The US prepares a new hotbed of tension in the chaos belt around Russia. It will be the Russian-speaking Estonian Narva. A 'secret report' of the Estonian government Commission on Security has been cited in the Eesti Ekspress. The provocation is dangerous because it can trigger a world war. The report warns that events in the Ida-Viru County, the capital of which is Narva (80% of population are Russians), may develop under scenario of the Eastern Ukraine or Northern Ireland. 'Russification is going on in Ida-Viru,' the Delfi wrote. 'Unless we undertake certain steps, we will lose the county, and in case of a conflict with Russia, we won't be able to control situation in the cities of Ida-Viru'. According to estimations of the report, '60,000 people will passively support such conflict, while 1,500 residents are possible active adherents of the conflict.' The Irish scenario presupposes 'presence of a local terror net, which is supported overseas.

ISRAËL VIOLATES THE CEASE-FIRE IN SYRIA AND LOSES TWO PLANES

On 13 September 2016, at 1 a.m., although the cease-fire had just come into force, the Israëli aviation attempted to destroy a combat position in the South of Syria and certain military installations near Damascus.

The Syrian Arab Army fired at and hit the planes with new generation missiles. One of the planes crashed in jihadist-held territory, the other managed to land in Israël.

Tsahal at first denied the two incidents, then recognised having violated Syrian air space and admitted that Syria had fired on their planes.

The available information does not enable us to know exactly what the Israêli planes were (F-15, F-16, or F-35), nor if the missiles were fired by Hezbollah or by the Syrian Arab Army, nor what type of missiles they were or who built them.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Apparently, whatever weapons which were fired at the Israeli fighters were able to target them with a very certain degree of precision; something upon which the IDF had not counted, in ordering the strike into sovereign Syrian territory.

Moscow insists on publishing agreements on Syria to assess their implementation

"We hope the US will stop shying away from publication of the documents it undersigned and the whole world will learn then about obligations of the sides under these documents and will be able to give unbiased assessments to how each side fulfills the agreements," Zakharova said. As she commented on a statement by the US Department after a telephone conversation between State Secretary John Kerry and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, she said this was not the first time that the US came up with an interpretation of a document endorsed in Geneva. Kerry said earlier on Friday Washington would set up a center for coordination of strikes jointly with Russia only after the conditions for humanitarian access in Syria featured in the Geneva accords were fulfilled.

Russian UN envoy hopes UN SC will adopt resolution calling for ban of nuclear tests

The Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty was adopted by the UN General Assembly in 1996. It was signed by 183 countries and adopted by 164, including Russia. However, CTBT has not yet entered into force because the eight countries that possess nuclear weapons or potential for making them, had not yet ratified it. Among those countries are Egypt, Israel, India, Iran, China, North Korea, Pakistan and the United States. Russian Ambassador to UN Vitaly Churkin hopes that the UN Security Council will adopt a resolution next week calling on countries to ratify the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBT). "There were some good changes, and now hopefully that resolution is going to be adopted," Churkin told journalists on Saturday. "And to us, the main element of that resolution will be calling on everybody to ratify CTBT because the only way to be on solid ground is to ratification of CTBT," he added.

Russian Emergencies Ministry’s convoy delivers humanitarian aid to Macedonia

The humanitarian aid was delivered to Skopje by the order of the Russian government, at the request of the Macedonian authorities. Over 20 people were killed and another 100 injured in floods that hit Skopje overnight to August 7. Over 5,000 houses and farms were partially or completely damaged by floods. "A convoy with humanitarian aid for Macedonia’s population has arrived in Skopje. Five trucks brought mobile electric stations, pumps and food - canned fish and meat," a spokesperson for the Emergencies Ministry said. The convoy was on the road for a week. Setting off from the ministry’s Noginsk rescue center in the Moscow Region, the convoy went to Novorossiysk. From there, it passed over 850 kilometers of the Black Sea by a ferry to reach Bulgaria’s Burgas. The convoy came to Skopje from there.

Here's What Moscow Plans to Do About North Korea's Nuclear Ambitions

Pyongyang has managed to tick off even China, which had always been a natural ally to North Korea in the past, the journalist emphasized. "Beijing had good communication with Kim Jong-un's father, and restrained Pyongyang's nuclear ambitions. But Kim Jong-un has managed to significantly complicate relations not only with world powers, but also with their closest neighbor."

In this regard, it's notable, according to the journalist, that Kim has never made an official visit to China, or even met with Chinese President Xi Jinping. "Russia and China are the only two countries that continue to engage in dialog with Pyongyang. The recent nuclear test in the peninsula has complicated the already delicate regional balance. Everyone understands that a war on the Korean peninsula would have far-reaching and unpredictable consequences."

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is why the leadership from China, South Korea, Japan, and the US need to meet, and develop a peaceful plan for de-escalating the military situation in South Korea, in return for North Korea stopping their development of nuclear weapons.

Sanctions and further Western "male attributes waving", through a show of military force against North Korea will only further exacerbate the situation.

Homeland Security Chair Claims He "Misspoke" - 'Russians' Did Not Hack RNC

As Politico reports, House Homeland Security Chairman Mike McCaul said Wednesday that Russian hackers have penetrated the computer systems of the Republican National Committee.

"It’s important to note, Wolf, that they have hacked not only hacked into the DNC but also into the RNC,” McCaul (R-Texas) said in an appearance on CNN.

“So they are not discriminating one party against the others. The Russians have basically hacked into both parties at the national level and that gives us all concern about what their motivations are.”
But a top RNC official disputed McCaul.

"There has been no known breach of the RNC's cyber network," said Sean Cairncross, the RNC's chief operating officer.

In the end of the article, they wrote about President Putin. According to their friends from Russian the opposition, Mr. Putin has a private jet with a golden toilet, at the cost of 75 thousand dollars. EU Council admits link between Russian company, MH17 crash unestablished

Council on Tuesday admitted the absence of whatever established connections between the Russian corporation Almaz-Antei and the MH17 crash in eastern Ukraine in July 2014, the corporation’s Deputy Director General for legal issues and corporate policies, Vladimir Konovalov, told TASS. EU Council representatives made the admission at court hearings on the corporation’s lawsuit, wherein it demanded the repeal of sanctions against it as ungrounded and the unfreezing of its European assets. The hearings were held in the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg, which will pass a ruling on the lawsuit before the yearend. "The EU representative stated that the sanctions didn’t come across as a punitive measure but meant much rather an assessment of risks and a precaution for the future," Konovalov said. "It’s plainly obvious this position is political, not legal. New hearings haven’t been appointed so far but they still can be appointed".

German foreign minister visits junta-occupied Donbass

German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier will visit Kramatorsk in Ukraine’s Donetsk region, the German foreign ministry has announced. Earlier on Wednesday, the deputy commander of the Donetsk People’s Republic operative command, Eduard Basurin, stated that the situation in Donbass has sharply deteriorated. Even based on this extremely limited information, the conclusion can be drawn that the Western members of the “Normandy Four” are taking a unilateral position in support of Kiev. The French foreign minister, however, was not such a hypocrite and limited his trip only to Kiev. Steinmeier’s visit to Kramatorsk in the rear represents a cheap re-enactment of attempts at an “objective analysis of the situation” in the conflict zone. In fact, he is guaranteed to see nothing but a costume play and “peacekeeping” prop put on by the Kiev government with no opportunity to meet reality.
