Thousands flee as volcanic eruption IMMINENT in popular tourist hotspot Bali

A VOLCANIC eruption could be imminent on the popular tourist island of Bali and Indonesia has issued its highest level alert.

Around 10,000 people have been evacuated and 240,000 people are fleeing Bali’s Mount Agung area in eastern Indonesia.

Tremors have been reported and there are signs that magma is rising to the surface which means an eruption is imminent for the first time in 54 years, officials say.
