Critics detained and tortured in West Bank and Gaza: Human Rights Watch

Palestinian critics are regularly beaten, tortured and detained for long periods without trial by each of the rival Palestinian governments in the occupied West Bank and Gaza Strip, Human Rights Watch said in a report released on Tuesday.

Both the Palestinian Authority in the West Bank and Hamas in Gaza have leaned on sweeping laws designed to silence criticism to target each other's supporters as well as other civil society activists, the report claimed based on interviews with 147 victims and witnesses to violence and detention.

Proud Boy Persecution Shows Street Fighting Has Arrived In America. Next, the Military?

The level of political violence in the U.S. is rising. The main reason for this, of course: the license given by our Establishment to the Antifa movement of Communist thugs. But will violence spread from the streets to the soldiers? I know, it sounds crazily apocalyptic. But it’s being discussed in Britain.

Twice recently—in Charlottesville last year, and in Portland, Oregon two weeks ago—we have seen municipal police forces deliberately stood down by their political superiors so that Antifa could control the streets. The Establishment’s media shills either find a way to frame the subsequent violence as someone else’s fault, as at Charlottesville, or else they just ignore it, as in Portland.

That is the context in which to evaluate the clashes in New York City on October 12 between Antifa activists and Gavin McInnes’s Proud Boys.

The White Helmets Ride Again

There are two notable groups that should be universally condemned as terrorists but are not for political reasons. They are the Mujaheddin e Khalq (MEK), Iranian dissidents that are based in Paris and Washington, and the so-called White Helmets who have been active in Syria. MEK is particularly liked by Israel and its friends inside the Beltway because it retains resources inside Iran that enable it to carry out assassinations and sabotage, and if it is only Iranians that are dying, that’s okay.

Religious Vegan Parents Convicted in Starvation Death of Son

Nearly five years after religious parents starved their toddler to death, a jury found Jennifer and Jeromie Clark guilty of criminal negligence causing death. The jury in Calgary, Canada also convicted the parents with failing to provide the necessities of life-related to the child’s death. At the time of death, the child suffered from a rash, gangrene, hypothermia, and a staph infection. Jennifer and Jeromie Clark, Seventh Day Adventists, had never taken the child to see a doctor. They only brought 14-month-old John to the hospital the day before he died. The parents starved the child to death with a strict vegan diet.

According to multiple reports, in November 2013, Jennifer and Jeromie Clark brought their son, John, to a local hospital. Doctors that treated John testified he had blisters on 70% of his body, gangrene on four toes, hypothermia, and a staph infection.

North Korea 'bought at least $640 million in luxury goods from China in 2017', in defiance of UN sanctions

North Korea imported at least $640 million (£493 million) worth of luxury goods from China last year, in defiance of UN sanctions outlawing such trade over North Korea's nuclear and missile programmes, a South Korean politician said on Monday.

The United States has urged strict implementation of sanctions as part of a "maximum pressure" campaign which Washington has credited with bringing impoverished North Korea to the negotiating table.

But there have been signs the campaign has been losing steam since North Korea suspended nuclear and missile tests and leader Kim Jong-un vowed steps towards denuclearisation at a US-North Korean summit in June - and as China and Russia called for relaxed sanctions.

Politico Report Says Russiagaters Should Prepare To Kiss My Ass

In a new article titled “Mueller report PSA: Prepare for disappointment“, Politico cites information provided by defense attorneys and “more than 15 former government officials with investigation experience spanning Watergate to the 2016 election case” to warn everyone who’s been lighting candles at their Saint Mueller altars that their hopes of Trump being removed from office are about to be dashed to the floor.

“While [Mueller is] under no deadline to complete his work, several sources tracking the investigation say the special counsel and his team appear eager to wrap up,” Politico reports.

“The public, they say, shouldn’t expect a comprehensive and presidency-wrecking account of Kremlin meddling and alleged obstruction of justice by Trump — not to mention an explanation of the myriad subplots that have bedeviled lawmakers, journalists and amateur Mueller sleuths,” the report also says, adding that details of the investigation may never even see the light of day.

PRE-WAR HYSTERIA: TRUMP VOWS TO BOOST NUCLEAR FORCES, WITHDRAW FROM INF TREATY

Tensions in the diplomatic relations between the United States and Russia seem to be ramping up to a potentially pre-war level. The increasingly thought diplomatic rhetoric of both Moscow and Washington as well as hostile US actions against Russia and an active pro-war propaganda campaign within the US military are openly signaling that the sides may posslby soon find themselves on the verge of open regional war.

On October 20, US President Donald Trump declared that the US would be abandoning the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty claiming that the decision comes as response to multiple Russian violations of the treaty, which had put a stop to the development of nuclear and conventional missiles, as well as their launchers, with ranges of 500–1,000 and 1,000–5,500 km.

The Saudis Keep Changing Their Story on the Murder of Khashoggi. What Should We Do?

The Saudi version of the disappearance and murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi seems to change every day or so. The latest is the Saudi government claim that the opposition journalist was killed in a “botched interrogation” at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul. Or was it a fist-fight? What is laughable is that the Saudi king has placed Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman, a prime suspect, in charge of the investigation of Khashoggi’s murder!

Though the official story keeps changing, what is unlikely to change is Washington’s continued relationship with Saudi Arabia. It is a partnership that is in no way beneficial to Americans or the US national interest.

During Sunday’s debate against challenger Geoff Diehl, Sen. Elizabeth Warren offered up yet another new reason why she took a DNA test.

As reported by the Daily Wire, Warren claimed she took the DNA test to help rebuild trust in the U.S. government. Warren’s claim comes after she was widely mocked by many in the media and President Donald Trump following the release of her DNA test results last week.

Warren’s test showed that she was overwhelmingly of European descent, but suggested the possibility that she is only 1/1024th Mexican, Colombian, or Peruvian.

How Saudi Arabia kept contradicting itself over the disappearance of Jamal Khashoggi

SAUDI Arabia wants you to believe its account of a journalist’s abrupt disappearance. But too many little things don’t add up.

Saudi Arabia has finally admitted that Khashoggi was killed in their consulate in Istanbul.

AFTER more than two weeks of international pressure, Saudi Arabia finally came clean.

In its most recent admission, the kingdom claimed journalist Jamal Khashoggi had died after he entered into a fight with Saudi officials who had been sent to meet him.

The past 17 days have seen the kingdom’s story rapidly changing, with Riyadh continually adjusting its account of events in accordance with growing evidence and global outrage.

China’s Internet Gatekeeper Pleads Guilty to Bribery

Lu Wei, once the gatekeeper of the internet for the entire population of China, pleaded guilty on Friday to abuse of power and accepting what amounted to US$4.6 million in bribes over the span of his 15-year career.

Lu Wei also made a final statement to the court, and admitted guilt and expressed regret,” Xinhua said.

Wei became the head of the Cyberspace Administration of China (CAC), in 2014, after a career in which he rose to become the director of the state news agency Xinhua, then worked at the Beijing municipal party committee, and the party’s Central Publicity Committee.

As head of the CAC, Wei controlled China’s notorious regime of internet censorship—which included blocking access to Facebook, Google, and Twitter, and introducing criminal charges against citizens who posted banned content.

Surveillance footage shows Saudi 'body double' in Khashoggi's clothes after he was killed, Turkish source says

A member of the 15-man team suspected in the death of Jamal Khashoggi dressed up in his clothes and was captured on surveillance cameras around Istanbul on the day the journalist was killed, a senior Turkish official has told CNN.

CNN has obtained exclusive law enforcement surveillance footage, part of the Turkish government's investigation, that appears to show the man leaving the Saudi consulate by the back door, wearing Khashoggi's clothes, a fake beard, and glasses.

The same man was seen in Khashoggi's clothing, according to the Turkish case, at the city's world-famous Blue Mosque just hours after the journalist was last seen alive entering the consulate on October 2.

The man in the video, identified by the official as Mustafa al-Madani, was allegedly part of what investigators have said was a hit squad, sent to kill the journalist during a scheduled appointment to get papers for his upcoming wedding.

The history of ideas provides us with the names of those few men and women who challenged the boundaries of tolerance. Professor Robert Faurisson was one such man. Faurisson, who died last Sunday at age 89, was a French academic who didn’t believe in the validity of parts of the Holocaust narrative. He argued that gas chambers in Auschwitz were the “biggest lie of the 20th century,” and contended that deported Jews had died of disease and malnutrition. Faurisson also questioned the authenticity of the Diary of Anne Frank many years before the Swiss foundation that holds the copyright to the famous diary “alerted publishers that her father (Otto Frank) is not only the ‘editor’ but also legally the ‘co-author’ of the celebrated book” (NY Times).

China's president Xi Jinping inaugurates the world's longest sea-crossing bridge that stretches 34 miles and dives INTO THE OCEAN

China's President Xi Jinping today officially launched the world's longest sea bridge that cost £14 billion to build and connects Hong Kong, Macau and mainland China.

The 55-kilometre (34-mile) crossing, which includes a snaking road bridge and underwater tunnel, will open to traffic tomorrow at 9am local time, linking Hong Kong with the southern mainland city of Zhuhai and the gambling enclave of Macau, across the waters of the Pearl River Estuary.

The submerged tunnel, which is under the Lingding Ocean near Hong Kong, is connected by two artificial islands each occupying 10,000 square metres (one million square feet). At 6.75 kilometres (4.2 miles) long and 40 metres (131 feet) deep, the tunnel creates a gap in the bridge that will allow cargo ships to pass through the busy delta.

Xi presided over an inauguration ceremony attended by Hong Kong's and Macau's city leaders at a new port terminal in Zhuhai.

Auto dealers see slowing sales, sparking fears that a long-expected decline is here

A growing number of auto dealers around the country is seeing a noticeable drop in retail sales and customer traffic in showrooms, raising the possibility that a long-anticipated slowdown in auto sales has arrived.

"We are definitely seeing business pull back," said Scott Adams, the owner of a Toyota dealership in Lee's Summit, Missouri, just outside Kansas City. "September was off some, but this month our car sales are down 12 percent and our truck sales are down 23 percent."

Other dealers tell CNBC they saw a significant drop in sales last weekend. One dealer in metro Tampa Bay, Florida, who asked not to be identified, said sales this month are down 13 percent.

"Customer traffic has moderated," said Mark Scarpelli, president of Raymond Chevrolet and Kia in Antioch, Illinois.

Amnesty International is jumping on the anti-Disney bandwagon — like celebrities Kristen Bell and Keira Knightley — calling out "fairy tales" for anti-feminist scenarios, where damsels in distress under an evil spell need the help of dashing princes to regain consciousness.
But the nongovernmental organization went way beyond merely criticizing Disney's heroines. They created their own "fractured fairy tale" in which a prince sexually assaults a sleeping princess, first kissing her and then sliding his hand up her leg, molesting her as she sleeps — a sort-of parody of "Sleeping Beauty" or "Snow White" that comes off less instructive and more, well, creepy.

Heroic Holocaust Revisionist Dr. Robert Faurisson Has Passed

Dr. Robert Faurisson (1929 – 2018) was born in England to a French father and a Scottish mother, and spent his adult life in France. There he was hounded and persecuted for 40 years due to his outspoken views, which were backed up by scholarly research. He vehemently denied the existence of homicidal gas chambers and pointed out the fraudulent nature of Anne Frank’s Diary, acting as a serious thorn in the side of Holocaust promoters around the world.
The alleged Hitlerite gas chambers and the alleged genocide of the Jews constitute one and the same historical lie, which made possible a gigantic financial-political fraud, the principal beneficiaries of which are the State of Israel and international Zionism, and whose principal victims are the German people — but not their leaders — and the entire Palestinian people.” ~ Robert Faurisson, the famous “60 words sentence”, formulated in 1980.
