Dutch people are stupid and they shouldn’t be allowed to vote!*

The Washington Post’s foreign affairs columnist seems to believe that Dutch people are stupid and, as a result, they shouldn’t be allowed to vote. Of course, she can’t write it directly. So, instead, she blames RT, and other Russian media, for a democratic choice that delivered a result she doesn’t like.

Webmaster's Commentary:

In the US Government and establishment media, democracy is a good thing only when the people vote the way the government wants them to vote ... which means it iisn;t really democracy at all, but an illusion of democracy.

Trump Supporters Walk

Trump Supporters Walk Out of Georgia Delegate Fight After Party Picks Cruz Supporter…’Uproar in the Hall’

Donald Trump supporters walked out of a delegate election in Georgia Saturday to protest a vote that robbed Trump of all of his slated delegates from a district that he won in the primary.

A Cruz-Rubio alliance at the district convention in Buford, Georgia helped to knock Trump supporters out of the district’s national delegation altogether. Cruz supporters implied that Trump’s people would “embarrass” the district at the convention in Cleveland. Then things got heated.

“This morning, I attended Georgia 7th Congressional District GOP convention as a delegate and a Donald Trump supporter. We were there to elect the 3 delegates and 3 alternates to the national convention,” Ronnie Kurtz told Breitbart News. “Per the primary results, two slots were for Trump, and one was for Rubio. Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX)
97%
finished third in the primary and had no delegates allotted to him…Nonetheless, the hall was stacked with Cruz delegates.”

Saudi Arabia to Sell Billions in U.S. Assets

Saudi Arabia to Sell Billions in U.S. Assets if 9/11 Bill Passes: NYT
Newsweek: The Saudi Arabian government has threatened to sell of hundreds of billions of dollars' worth of American assets should the U.S. Congress pass a bill that could hold the kingdom responsible for any role in the Sept. 11, 2001 attacks, the New York Times reported on Friday.

The newspaper reported that Saudi foreign minister Adel al-Jubeir told U.S. lawmakers last month that "Saudi Arabia would be forced to sell up to $750 billion in Treasury securities and other assets in the United States before they could be in danger of being frozen by American courts."

The bill, which passed the Senate Judiciary Committee earlier this year, would take away immunity from foreign governments in cases "arising from a terrorist attack that kills an American on American soil."

Retired Oregon Police Officer Comments on LaVoy Finicum’s Murder

There is zero doubt regarding the murder of LaVoy Finicum that OSP and FBI HRT, set this up, a kill box. Due diligence, I AM a retired Oregon Police Officer, from two counties away. While from a grand jury standpoint, this murder was never going to see the inside of a court room for criminal charges, that’s just how police shootings work, I DO NOT AGREE with the white washing of Justice.

LaVoy Finicum had become the de facto leader of a FREEDOM movement. A natural born leader, no bravado, no threats of violence, however he was a threat to the INFRASTRUCTURE, for that, he was murdered by the Oregon State Police.

We Can't Trust a Major American Police Department. That's a Problem.

This past year, in the shadow of the Laquan McDonald police shooting scandal, investigative reporters from The Guardian and their lawyers have exposed, in numerous articles, that Chicago's history of torture and cover-up is repeating itself, this time at Homan Square.

As the Guardian has documented, Homan Square, named after a notorious Chicago slumlord Samuel Homan, was, until recently, a secret site where thousands of people of color have been – and apparently still are – held and interrogated for hours, "off the books", often without being under arrest. They are handcuffed to a wall in dark and foreboding rooms and cells, with inconsistent access to food, drink or access to bathroom facilities. The Guardian's continuing investigation reveals that when this sensory deprivation does not yield sufficient cooperation, the police interrogators all too often employ physical brutality that meets the United Nations Convention Against Torture's definition of torture. Cases of tasering, which is a very real form of electric shock, suffocation, anal rape, beatings with batons, threats with a weapon and questionable deaths while in custody are now all on the public record. And, once again, we see police officers committing perjury and innocent victims being charged with crimes that they did not commit.

Flashback April 2015: Top medical journal, The Lancet, warns much published science is bogus, can't be trusted

A lot of what is published is incorrect. I am not allowed to say who made this remark because we were asked to observe Chatham House rules. We were also asked not to take photographs of slides. Those who worked for government agencies pleaded that their comments especially remain unquoted, since the forthcoming UK election meant they were living in purdah — a chilling state where severe restrictions on freedom of speech are placed on anyone on the government's payroll. Why the paranoid concern for secrecy and non-attribution? Because this symposium — on the reproducibility and reliability of biomedical research, held at the Wellcome Trust in London last week — touched on one of the most sensitive issues in science today: the idea that something has gone fundamentally wrong with one of our greatest human creations.

The case against science is straightforward:much of the scientific literature, perhaps half, may simply be untrue.Afflicted by studies with small sample sizes, tiny effects, invalid exploratory analyses, and flagrant conflicts of interest, together with an obsession for pursuing fashionable trends of dubious importance, science has taken a turn towards darkness. As one participant put it, “poor methods get results”.

Blind Palestinian karate team detained at Israeli border after return from Dubai tournament

Israel has detained the coach of a blind Palestinian karate team for “suspected involvement in terrorist activity" after he and five of his students were stopped by Israeli forces at the Erez border crossing earlier this week while trying to re-enter Gaza.

The five blind and vision-impaired students, all under 18 years old, were travelling with four sighted students from the same karate school on their way back from Dubai where they had been competing in an international tournament. One of the students’ mothers was also travelling with them.

Their coach, Hassan Al Ra’e, had intended to go to Dubai with the students but after crossing with them from Gaza into Israel and then the West Bank, he was unable to travel onwards, his brother, Nasser, told The National.

Thousands to descend on London to demand David Cameron’s resignation

Thousands from across the UK are expected to gather in central London Saturday in protest of government austerity measures. They’ll also call for the resignation of Prime Minister David Cameron over revelations of offshore investment funds linked to his family.
The demonstration through the center of the capital will end on Trafalgar Square around 6pm.

The March for Health, Homes, Jobs and Education has been organized by the People's Assembly Against Austerity alongside several trade unions, including Unite. Organizers are demanding that David Cameron’s “vicious government” end its policy of austerity.

“They've attacked junior doctors and student nurses while privatizing the NHS. They plan to force all schools to become academies and teachers are now balloting to strike over pay and conditions. They've done nothing to address the growing housing crisis.”

In Texas, some local GOPs call for statewide vote on secession

A handful of Texas Republican district or county conventions in March passed resolutions calling for a vote on secession, paving the way for a potentially awkward debate at the state GOP conference in May.
A Nederland-based pro-independence activist group, the Texas Nationalist Movement, said at least 22 of the hundreds of conventions passed secession items. Texas GOP chairman Tom Mechler said he "would be very surprised" if that many had indeed passed the conventions.
The Houston Chronicle reached out to GOP officials in the counties listed by the Nationalist Movement. Ten responded and all confirmed passage of the resolutions. An official count should be available from the Republican Party of Texas in early May.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Looking at the insanity and corruption of the Federal government, who can blame thinking Texans for examining this possibility?!?

OF course, it won't end well, should this be passed; you're looking at a Federal government invasion, total martial law, and a US military occupation of the state.

But the embarrassment factor for the US government, at having had to do this, will create a "V for Vendetta" moment in this country.

And if you have not seen the movie, please rent it; it is a magnificent, cautionary tale of government overreach, and the ultimate public reaction to that overreach. (Warning; lots of violence, and totally not appropriate for children).

BILLION DOLLAR LAWSUITS FILED FOLLOWING DEUTSCHE BANK'S ADMISSION OF GOLD, SILVER RIGGING

Barely a day had passed since the historic admission of gold and silver price rigging by Deutsche bank, which as we reported on Thursday was settled with not only "valuable monetary consideration", but Deutsche's "cooperation in pursuing claims" against other members of the cartel, i.e., exposing the manipulation of other cartel members, and the class action lawsuits have begun.

Overnight, two class action lawsuits seeking $1 billion in damages on behalf of Canadian gold and silver investors were launched in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.

The first class action alleges that the defendants, including The Bank of Nova Scotia, conspired to manipulate prices in the silver market under the guise of the benchmark fixing process, known as the London Silver Fixing, for a fifteen-year period.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Bring the popcorn!

It's always a treat to watch the rich eat their own!!

But I would almost be willing to bet that, at the end of the day, we will see out-of-court settlements, in which the main mechanisms of these manipulations will be hidden from public view.

“SMILE IN MY FACE ONE MORE TIME!” COP TERRORIZES CHILD ON SCHOOL BUS FOR NOT WORSHIPPING HIM

A student on a bus in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania caught a cop on video angrily berating a kid for smiling. The incident highlights the modern reality in public schools where blue-clad soldiers of law with badges and guns are a normal, everyday presence.

In the video, uploaded to Facebook, an unidentified police officer stalks down the aisle of the bus, directing his rage at a student in the back who performed the outrageous act of smiling.

“You think you’re funny…you think you’re funny.”

As he reaches the student, the cop leans over the boy and says, “Smile in my face one more time, I’m gonna drag your ass off this bus and back to that fucking police car.”

The student is not in view of the camera, but can be heard saying, “Alright, alright.”

“Don’t smile one more time!” the cop says as he leaves the bus.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The contemporary school experience is not at all focused on learning, but submission to authority, no matter how much emotional and physical pain and violence that produces.

If you want your child to really be educated, take them out of the public school, and home school them.

If you live in a state that is anti-home schooling, move to a state where this is a respected alternative.

School districts are paid by the State and Federal government based on the number of students in their district; disable the funding through keeping kids safe and home schooled.

If that will not work, find a private school, or a magnet school in your area with a reputation for turning out kids who have the skills to make them competitive in later life.

Not only do your kid's educational lives depend on this;but also, the future of our society, as a place where critical thinking, and good decision making, are encouraged.

An independent re-analysis of the trial was recently conducted by The BMJ (formerly the British Medical Journal). Their research concluded that paroxetine was no more effective than a placebo and caused suicidal thoughts in 12 of 93 children who took the drug.

Driven mad by the horror of war: A shattering new book lays bare the extent of the mental torment the Somme exacted 100 years ago... and how pitiless top brass covered it up

The British Army doctor serving in a casualty station just behind the front line in France knew ‘shell shock’ when he saw it.

Men in the trenches whose minds had gone under the barrage of explosives falling on their heads from enemy guns, or by being steeped in so much gore and misery for months on end, had a haunted look about them.

‘They are exhausted, their faces twitch and hands and arms shake constantly,’ he told his wife in a letter home. They were unable to answer the simplest of questions, their eyes were glassy and bulged out of their sockets, their skin was yellow, their teeth chattered, they swallowed constantly. Some could not speak at all. Others just stared into space without comprehension.

And in the summer of 1916, to his alarm, there were more and more of them reporting to him with these catatonic symptoms.

Craig Murray: The Telegram Criticising Bush That Got Me Sacked (as a British diplomat)

As this blog is now read daily by tens of thousands of people who had not heard of me before, some idea of where I come from might be in order. After a diplomatic career of rapid promotion (senior civil service age 36, my first Ambassadorship in Uzbekistan age 42) my opposition to Bush/Blair’s immoral and counter-productive foreign policy got me sacked.

This telegram (diplomatic communications are called that; cable in the USA) I am with retrospect very proud to have sent. To have made at the time the observation that the Bush/Blair policy of invasion, oppression and torture would not suppress fundamentalism, but would create it, was prescient. I should say I understood very well I would be sacked. Some things are worth being sacked for.

Neoliberalism – the ideology at the root of all our problems

In The Road to Serfdom, published in 1944, Hayek argued that government planning, by crushing individualism, would lead inexorably to totalitarian control. Like Mises’s book Bureaucracy, The Road to Serfdom was widely read. It came to the attention of some very wealthy people, who saw in the philosophy an opportunity to free themselves from regulation and tax. When, in 1947, Hayek founded the first organisation that would spread the doctrine of neoliberalism – the Mont Pelerin Society – it was supported financially by millionaires and their foundations.

With their help, he began to create what Daniel Stedman Jones describes in Masters of the Universe as “a kind of neoliberal international”: a transatlantic network of academics, businessmen, journalists and activists. The movement’s rich backers funded a series of thinktanks which would refine and promote the ideology. Among them were the American Enterprise Institute, the Heritage Foundation, the Cato Institute, the Institute of Economic Affairs, the Centre for Policy Studies and the Adam Smith Institute. They also financed academic positions and departments, particularly at the universities of Chicago and Virginia.

As it evolved, neoliberalism became more strident. Hayek’s view that governments should regulate competition to prevent monopolies from forming gave way – among American apostles such as Milton Friedman – to the belief that monopoly power could be seen as a reward for efficiency.

The Islamic State terror group is operating a camp in the northern Mexican state of Chihuahua, just eight miles from the U.S. border, Judicial Watch reported Tuesday.

Judicial Watch sources said that “coyotes” working for the notorious Juarez Cartel are smuggling Islamic State terrorists across the U.S. border between the New Mexico cities of Santa Teresa and Sunland Park, as well as “through the porous border between Acala and Fort Hancock, Texas.”

Saudi Arabia wants US to kill 9/11 bill, threatens to dump US assets worth $750 bn

Saudi Arabia appears to be blackmailing the US, saying it would sell off American assets worth a 12-digit figure sum in dollars if Congress passes a bill allowing the Saudi government to be held responsible for the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Blackmail is perhaps too strong a word (although the western media will use it to demonize Saudi Arabia). I think "self defense" is more apt. Saudi Arabia knows that the US links 9-11 to every nation it wants to invade. First it was Afghanistan, then Iraq (after which George W. Bush admitted on TV Iraq had nothing to do with 9-11).

Saudi Arabia now finds themselves in the croshairs of the US war machine!

To find out if you are being lied to, look for what should be there and isn't, and what isn't there is a motive for Saudi Arabia to attack the United States on 9-11. Saudi Arabia has grown very rich off of the United States with the petrodollar deal. And they have invested much of that money in the United States. Why would Saudi Arabia do anything that would risk having the United States confiscate that money or end the lucrative petrodollar arrangement? Especially without some compelling reason? And as the Saudi threat confirms, if Saudi Arabia really did want to harm the United States they would not need to crash airplanes into buildings, all they need do is take their investment funds back and the US economy would implode. The resulting economic devastation would make the loss of the World Trade Towers seem like a minor inconvenience in comparison! And it would be perfectly legal for Saudi Arabia to do so.

And let us be honest, it wasn't Saudis who were arrested for cheering and clapping while the towers came crashing down, it was Mossad agents. Israeli owned companies like Odigo received advance warning of the attack. Saudi companies did not.

Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice (or thrice) shame on me!

Nemtsov & The End Of The British Empire

The February 28th, 2015 assassination of Russian opposition leader and former Deputy Prime Minister Boris Nemtsov as he crossed a bridge near the Kremlin will surely be well-utilized by Western lapdog media in their ongoing effort to slander Vladimir Putin and Russia.

But any thinking person will know that this professional killing was not carried out by Putin, who has vowed a thorough investigation of the incident. It was likely another in a series of desperate moves by the British MI6, who work for the Crown and the Rothschild-led City of London bankers.

The assassination occurred just three days after Britain announced it would send advisors to train Ukraine’s military, which in recent weeks was routed by Donbass revolutionaries, forcing the Ukrainian regime into signing the Minsk Peace Agreement.

Neoliberalism – the ideology at the root of all our problems

As Naomi Klein documents in The Shock Doctrine, neoliberal theorists advocated the use of crises to impose unpopular policies while people were distracted: for example, in the aftermath of Pinochet’s coup, the Iraq war and Hurricane Katrina, which Friedman described as “an opportunity to radically reform the educational system” in New Orleans.

Where neoliberal policies cannot be imposed domestically, they are imposed internationally, through trade treaties incorporating “investor-state dispute settlement”: offshore tribunals in which corporations can press for the removal of social and environmental protections. When parliaments have voted to restrict sales of cigarettes, protect water supplies from mining companies, freeze energy bills or prevent pharmaceutical firms from ripping off the state, corporations have sued, often successfully. Democracy is reduced to theatre.

BEX ALERT - Research shows — yet again — that there’s no scientific debate about climate change

It's a well-known and widely cited statistic: 97 percent of scientific experts agree that human-caused climate change is real. The consensus has been supported by numerous studies — and yet the idea that the statistic is made up, or wrong, is still a common position among climate doubters and a major tool used to foster public uncertainty about climate change.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The Washington Post should at least wait until the snow (which is still falling out west as I type this) to melt before flinging this particular brand of manure around.

As long as the WP is regurgitating old lies, please tell us the one about how Saddam had nuclear weapons again' we just LOVE that one!

Now, setting aside the fact that the methodology by which that 97% claim was arrived at has been discredited, I would remind people that when Galileo was trying to demonstrate that the Earth orbited the sun, 97% of the scientists of his day would have disagreed with him. Obviously, that 97% was wrong.

There is a condemnation of this idea of consensus in Ibsen's "An Enemy of the People" that goes (I am paraphrasing) "The majority is not always right. Indeed the majority is usually wrong, because before the majority can be right, one man must be right, and while he stands alone in the truth the majority is wrong." See Galileo above.

More recently, Michael Crichton, in his book "State of Fear", commented "Science is not consensus and consensus is not science!"

Last year, National Geographic ran an article bemoaning that people do not trust science; that they are unwilling to accept as unquestionable truth anything said by a paid lackey in a white laboratory coat (the 21st Century version of a priest's robes) .

But there are reasons not to simply trust what a scientist says.

Alchemy, for one.

Phlogiston Chemistry, for another.

Prior to the 14th Century Astronomers thought the Earth was the center of the universe, because, well, that's what the church wanted, and spent hundreds of years of scientific research on the theory of Epicycles, trying to reconcile the Earth centered model with the observed motions of the planets. Epicycles hold the record for longest running scientific goof in history!

17th Century doctors thought rubbing chicken dung into your scalp would cure baldness! They also thought leeches sucked disease out of patients.

18th Century Geologists thought the Earth was 6000 years old, because, well, that's what the church wanted!vPrior to the 1950s, scientists thought proteins carried our heredity.

Until the 19th Century, doctors thought infection was caused by bad air, from which we get the term "Malaria."

Scientists claimed cigarettes were good for you up until the 1950s. They even had a machine to pump tobacco smoke into your anus; the origin of the phrase "blowing smoke up your a**!"

Until 2005, doctors thought ulcers were caused by stress.

National Geographic should not be questioning why people do not trust science after its own 1999 "Piltdown Chicken" scandal!

Science is not perfect. Science does make mistakes. The beauty of science is supposed to be that they admit it, not use the label of "science" like a modern religious icon to push agendas onto people! Anyone who says the "Science is settled" is not being scientific, they are being propagandistic!

Religious leaders say "trust us."

Politicians say "trust us."

The Washington Post says "trust us."

But science is not religion, politics, or mass media.

Science is reproducibility and independent verification of results, something notoriously lacking in the claims of human-caused global warming.

Back on March 20, 2000, the UK Independent, a newspaper (much like the Washington Post) ran the headline story "Snowfalls are now a thing of the past", describing how we would all have to describe or show pictures to our children of what it was like to have a white winter, because the CONSENSUS was that the warming world would make snow a rarity. The Earth has had several record-setting winters since then. Real scientists (meaning those who have not sold their integrity for generous research grants from the promoters of a carbon tax) would acknowledge that the real world did not match the predictions in those computer models, and would, as they say, go back to the drawing board.

Far form the claimed 97% consensus, virtually every climatologist not in the pay of the carbon tax people acknowledge that the dominant control over climate on Earth is th sun, which is entering a period of reduced activity; a repeat of the Maunder Minimum, and bringing with it, a repeat of the Little Ice Age that chilled the Earth from 1300 and 1870.

But global warming was never science. It is a political agenda, to push for a carbon tax and more control over our lives, and a little thing like reality should never be allowed to stand in the way of another grab for our wallets.

So it is that we have the Washington Post, ever faithful servant of the powers that be, and unrepentant over its telling about Saddam's nukes, continuing to spout the approved fairy tales while winter lingers and the scent of manure wafts through the air!

Don’t Be Fooled: Panama Leak Barely Scratches The Surface Of Elite Corruption

The Panama Papers are a drop in the ocean of offshore tax havens. In total, between $7 trillion and $32 trillion is stashed across the world in around 80 locations. The Panama law firm Mossack Fonseca is said to be the fourth largest provider of offshore legal services, assisting elites to create shell companies where they can hide their money. Mossack Fonseca’s director said the breach was a “successful but limited hack,” in an interview with Reuters.

Canadian Born Ted Cruz fools a lazy [or corrupt] court to continue his quest for the presidency

A very complicated back story, which shows Ted Cruz's father to be a bigamist, among other things, and his mother to be a globe-trotting citizenship-renouncing serial marriage partner, establishes Ted Cruz is not a natural born citizen of the U.S.

Webmaster's Commentary:

There are allegations that Ted Cruz mother bore Ted out of wedlock (possibly before her divorce with her first husband was final), in which case under Section 309(c) of the INA Ted is not a US citizen by birth.

Judge Jeff Masin needs to be removed from the bench. The Constitution does not grant him the authority to change the Constitution at whim.

UC Davis spent $175,000 to bury search results after cops pepper-sprayed protestors

The University of California, Davis spent at least $175,000 to improve its reputation on the internet after images of campus police pepper-spraying protestors went viral in 2011, according to documents obtained by The Sacramento Bee. The money went to public relations firms that promised to clean up the university's search results.

One company outlined a plan for "eradication of references to the pepper spray incident," according to the documents, and was eventually paid nearly $93,000, including expenses, for a six-month campaign in 2013. After that, the Bee reports, the university paid $82,500 to another PR firm to create and follow through on a "search engine results management strategy."

Kerry: Shooting down Russia jets 'would have been justified'

HMMM! The USS Donald Cook. This USS Donald Cook?

www.voltairenet.org/article185860.html

Two Russian jets flew within metres of the ship on Monday, US officials said.
Russia's defence ministry said the Su-24 fighter jets "turned away in observance of all safety measures" after observing the USS Donald Cook.
Mr Kerry criticised the gesture and said contact had been made with Moscow.
"We condemn this kind of behaviour," he told the Miami Herald and CNN Espanol in a joint interview.
"It is reckless. It is provocative. It is dangerous. And under the rules of engagement, that could have been a shoot-down."

The New Propaganda War

“[Russia] is conducting an intensive propaganda campaign directed primarily against the US and is employing coordinated psychological, political and economic measures . . . The ultimate object of this campaign is not merely to undermine the prestige of the US and the effectiveness of its national policy but to weaken and divide world opinion to a point where effective opposition to [Russian] designs is no longer attainable by political, economic or military means.”

With that justification, the Truman administration secretly authorized the start of covert operations by the CIA against America’s wartime ally, the USSR, in December 1947. It was one of the seminal decisions that launched the Cold War.

The Pentagon’s Counter-Zombie Martial Law Plan: ‘Concentrate Firepower to the Head’

And whether it seems like a joke or not, the Pentagon has a document preparing its forces for the remote possibility – or perhaps imminent cult film future pre-programmed through the media – of an all-out Zombie apocalypse.

“Given the likelihood of an all out threat to ‘human survival’, it is likely that this plan will be executed with a declaration of martial law with CONUS and U.S. territories.

“The only assumed way to effectively cause casualties to the zombie ranks by tactical force is the concentration of all firepower to the head, specifically the brain.”

Iraq May Dissolve Parliament After Fist-Fights, Sit-Ins

Iraqi parliament speaker Salim al-Jabouri has issued a statement suggesting he is strongly considering dissolving the legislative body and ordering new elections amid disputes over a new cabinet, which escalated into a chaotic session today.

Several factions have been pushing Prime Minister Hayder Abadi to follow through on appointing a technocrat cabinet, to try to get corruption under control. The cabinet isn’t expected to pass a vote, and the planned Tuesday vote was cancelled, tentatively rescheduled to Thursday. Whether that’s going to happen at this point is even more doubtful, after Sunni MPs announced a “sit-in” today, and Shi’ite and Kurdish MPs got in fistfights with one another.

Shi’ite cleric Moqtada al-Sadr, a major proponent of the technocrat cabinet, has continued to organize protests to get them into place. The Sunni MPs also appear supportive of the idea, while the larger Shi’ite bloc, of which Abadi is a member, oppose the idea.

Webmaster's Commentary:

A short memo to Secretary of State Kerry; didn't you make a statement, recently, to the effect that the political upheaval in Iraq couldn't possibly be allowed to stop the fight against ISIS?!?

Uh, sir, the Iraqi government has just imploded, and the Cleric Muqtada Al Sadr may well lead a popular revolution against Al-Abadi, and sweep both the capital and the country in any upcoming elections.

Al Sadr is none to keen on any American presence in Iraq; and any decap strike against him will result in utter, popular Iraqi rage against our military stationed (and soon to be stationed) in Iraq.

Sir, forgive me, but do you, the State Department, the Pentagon, and the White House have anything approximating a plan for such a scenario?!?

Because right now, the gap between the reality on the ground in Iraq, and your statements, is growing exponentially, and any thinking Americans who have been paying attention cannot possibly believe, for one second, that those in the bowels of power in Foggy Bottom have a clue as to what to do next, except send more troops, which ultimately solves nothing, and completely aggravates the Iraqi people horribly.

I would like to politely point your attention to an article, in theintercept.com, yesterday, which reports the following:

MORE THAN 90 PERCENT of young people in Iraq consider the United States to be an enemy of their country, according to a new poll. After years spent justifying the war as a “liberation” of the Iraqi people, the survey casts further doubt on the success of that endeavor. The poll was conducted by Penn Schoen Berland, a public relations and market research firm co-founded by controversial strategist Mark Penn, and was sponsored by a Dubai-based affiliate of Burson Marsteller, once described as “the PR firm for evil.” Still, the undertaking, as outlined by organizers, sounds ambitious. It included 250 face-to-face interviews in three Iraqi cities, plus another 3,250 interviews in 15 other countries throughout the Arab world, all with men and women ages 18-24 “selected to provide an accurate reflection of each nation’s geographic and socio-economic make-up.” It claims an error rate of plus or minus 1.65 percent.

Sir, the US government has botched this "reconquista", and big-time.

US Report Faults Key Allies for Stifling Freedom, Killing Dissidents

The 40th annual State Department report on human rights is raising more eyebrows than usual this year, as the preface by Secretary of State John Kerry warns of a “global governance crisis” wherein countries around the world are cracking down on basic freedoms and stifling dissent, often violently.

While the report goes after usual targets like China and Russia, it also singles out a number of high-profile US allies on this note, criticizing NATO member Turkey for prosecuting journalists as terrorists and killing Kurdish civilians, criticizing Israel for excessive and arbitrary violence against Palestinians, and noting that Egypt’s military junta continues to torture detainees to death in its prisons.

Webmaster's Commentary:

EU parliament votes to re-approve glyphosate despite ‘concerns about carcinogenicity’

The European Parliament has backed a re-authorization of a pesticide believed to be carcinogenic for another 7 years, despite a widespread protest campaign calling for a full ban instead of a downsized “compromise” deal.
The weedkiller glyphosate is to be given market approval for another seven years, instead of 15 as originally requested, while its use should be limited to professionals only, the European Parliament said in a non-binding resolution approved on Wednesday. The body also advised the chemical shouldn’t be used in public locations, such as parks and playgrounds.

Despite coming up with the approval, the resolution, passed by 374 votes to 225, with 102 abstentions, still noted “concerns about the carcinogenicity and endocrine disruptive properties of the herbicide glyphosate, used in many farm and garden applications.”

The Green Party rioting for a ban said European governments and the European Commission are obliged to take into account the concerns raised by MEPs.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Congratulations, EU Parliament, for the record number of cancer cases we will see in Europe from this approval going forward.

Monsanto must have met their price; knowing that this product has been incontrovertably proven to be carcinogenic, yet allowing its use for another 7 years?!?

This is pure madness, driven by occult money, or blackmail.

As reported at http://www.i-sis.org.uk/Glyphosate_is_Carcinogenic.php:

Enter your email address for notifications of new reports and news from ISIS SUBSCRIBE Open access to science eprints The Sparc provides both scientists and the general public free open access to scientific papers that are important for the survival of people and planet 39 ISIS Report 09/09/15 Glyphosate is Carcinogenic The WHO expert panel reclassified glyphosate as ‘probably carcinogenic’ more than 40 years after it was brought to market, but the range of available evidence is sufficient to classify it definitely carcinogenic. Glyphosate’s carcinogenic potential has been known to Monsanto and the US EPA from long term animal experiments since the early 1980s but repeatedly dismissed. This has resulted in two decades of people and planet being poisoned by glyphosate herbicides on a misclassification of ‘noncarcinogenic’ that has allowed the manufacturer to claim it is ‘safe’ and perpetrating many other falsehoods to promote its ubiquitous and liberal use Dr Mae-Wan Ho and Prof Peter T. Saunders A fully referenced version will be available in an updated version of Banishing Glyphosate Sign the Independent Scientists Manifesto on Glyphosate here: http://www.i-sis.org.uk/Independent_Scientists_Manifesto_on_Glyphosate.php Introduction The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), which is part of the World Health Organization (WHO), has released the results of its year-long assessment of five organophosphate insecticides and herbicides. In this, the 112th study into potentially carcinogenic agents, it has reclassified glyphosate in Group 2A ‘probably carcinogenic to humans’ [1, 2]. This category is used [1] “when there is limited evidence of carcinogenicity in humans and sufficient evidence of carcinogenicity in experimental animals.” Previously, the US Environment Protection Agency (EPA), which last reviewed glyphosate in 1993, classified glyphosate in Group E ‘noncarcinogenic’ [3]. Similarly, a 2013 review by the German Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR) conducted on behalf of the European Union did not recommend a carcinogen classification of either 2A or 2B (‘possibly carcinogenic’); though that review is mired in controversy, having been largely conducted by a consortium of chemical companies including Monsanto [4] (Scandal of Glyphosate Re-assessment in Europe, SiS 63). Monsanto has called on IARC to retract its assessment [5]. But Aaron Blair, scientist emeritus at the National Cancer Institute who chaired the 17 member Working Group of the IARC that carried out the assessment, robustly defended the decision, saying it is “appropriately based on current science” [6]. The IARC experts in the Working Group were selected for their expertise and most importantly, the absence of real or apparent conflicts of interest. Following the protocol required by the IARC, the Working Group considered only “reports that have been published or accepted for publication in the openly available scientific literature” as well as “data from governmental reports that are publicly available”. Notably, Blair told a journalist there were good grounds to declare that glyphosate definitely causes cancer [7]. But “the epidemiologic data was a little noisy.” While several studies suggested a link, another study in the US of farmers in Iowa and North Carolina did not. There had been a similar inconsistency in epidemiological studies of benzene now universally acknowledged as a carcinogen, Blair added. What Blair did not mention, for example, was that crucial evidence of carcinogenicity in animal experiments had existed at least since 1981 but successively dismissed as documented in EPA’s own archives (see below). In the meantime, US government data show steep rise in dozens of chronic diseases including cancers closely tracking the rapid increase in glyphosate use and the adoption of genetically modified (GM) crops, of which USA is the top producer by far [8]. In Argentina, the third producer of GM crops, where the use of pesticides including glyphosate has increased more than 8.5-fold since the introduction of GM crops 20 years ago, non-government organizations and doctors have been documenting rising incidences of cancers and birth defects among farmers and their families and others exposed to glyphosate spraying (see Chapter 3 of [9] Banishing Glyphosate, ISIS special report). Taking these and other additional findings into proper account would surely have been sufficient to classify glyphosate as a carcinogen. Asked to comment on the IARC’s reclassification, Fernando Manas, a member of the Genetics and Environmental Mutagenesis (GEMA) Group at the National University of Río Cuarto in Cordoba, Argentina, who has investigated the effect of agrochemicals for the past 9 years, confirmed the link between glyphosate and genetic damage, which leads to cancer and a higher risk of spontaneous abortions and birth defects in the new born, and said that the classification by IARC-WHO is a consequence of the growing scientific evidence generated by independent investigators. Furthermore, he pointed out that [10] this evidence, which has been deliberately ignored until now, means that “millions of gallons of herbicide with carcinogenic potential have been used according to regulations designed for a virtually harmless substance.” For two decades, entire populations were “subjected” to chronic pesticide exposures “based on criteria developed by the same companies that produce and market” agrochemicals.

Cruz eyes double-agent delegates in bid to snatch GOP nomination from Trump

Sen. Ted Cruz’s hopes for winning the Republican presidential nomination outright have faded, and he has shifted to a strategy of gaming the rules, angling to send enough double-agent delegates to the July convention to snatch victory from front-runner Donald Trump.

It’s a major reversal for Mr. Cruz, who just weeks ago insisted he would win the 1,237 delegates needed to clinch the nomination before the convention. But major wins in Utah, Wisconsin and Colorado have not closed the gap, with a series of East Coast primaries looming.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Cruz and his party apparatchiks will do anything to cut Trump from the race, including making up the rules as they go along.

In doing this, they are handing the 2016 election to Hillary Clinton.

Clinton knows she can handily defeat Cruz; Donald Trump is the candidate she doesn't want to have to fight.

How Hillary Helped Ruin Haiti

Last week Haiti’s Electoral Council postponed the nation’s current presidential election indefinitely. The present chaos is a fitting coda to the recent presidency of Michel Martelly, a novice politician who governed accordingly.

Amid the current upheaval, the name Mirlande Manigat is well worth recalling. As Haiti struggled to dig out from the disastrous 2010 earthquake, Manigat stood poised to become its first elected female president—until Hillary Clinton’s State Department intervened.

In late November 2010, Manigat, a Duvalier-era exile, topped a field of 19 candidates, garnering 31 percent of the vote and setting herself up for a runoff election against the initial second-place finisher, Jude Celestin. A close ally at the time with Haiti’s then-President Rene Preval, Celestin barely edged out Martelly, the popular singer better known as Sweet Micky.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Everything Hillary Clinton touched, during her tenure as Secretary of State, turned into an absolute disaster for the people of the countries she was, allegedly "helping", when the only people she was really "helping" were those who paid to play, by contributing to the Clinton Foundation.

Can someone, with a straight face, tell me why this woman deserves to be President?!? And yes, I want a woman in the White House; just please, Lord, Not That Woman!!!

US corporations have $1.4tn hidden in tax havens, claims Oxfam report

US corporate giants such as Apple, Walmart and General Electric have stashed $1.4tn (£980bn) in tax havens, despite receiving trillions of dollars in taxpayer support, according to a report by anti-poverty charity Oxfam.

The Panama Papers demonstrate that for all the fine words about transparency on tax, the world’s kleptocrats are still getting away with it

The sum, larger than the economic output of Russia, South Korea and Spain, is held in an “opaque and secretive network” of 1,608 subsidiaries based offshore, said Oxfam.

The charity’s analysis of the financial affairs of the 50 biggest US corporations comes amid intense scrutiny of tax havens following the leak of the Panama Papers.

And the charity said its report, entitled Broken at the Top was a further illustration of “massive systematic abuse” of the global tax system.

FORMER US STATE DEPARTMENT OFFICIAL TO BUY UKRAINE'S LARGEST TELCOM COMPANY

This is just about as insane and open of an inside look, as to how US empire operators grab the spoils of their interventions that result in turmoil, that you are ever likely to get.

As is clear, the US played an important role in the Ukrainian revolution as revealed by the release of a recording of a phone call between Assistant US Secretary of State Victoria Nuland and U.S. Ambassador to the Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt (SEE: An Important Second Listen to the "F--k the EU" Ukraine Recording).

But, Nuland isn't the only US State Department official playing a major role in Ukraine.

UC DAVIS PAID $175,000 OR MORE TO SCRUB POLICE PEPPER SPRAY INCIDENT FROM WEB SEARCHES

After a police officer pepper-sprayed UC Davis students in a widely reported 2011 incident, the California university contracted with SEO consultants for $175,000 (or maybe more) to scrub unfavorable online items about the incident and boost online reputations of both the university and Chancellor Linda P.B. Katehi.

The Sacramento Bee reported on the SEO scandal, and based their story on documents newly released in response to requests filed last month under the California Public Records Act.

In January 2013, UC Davis contracted a Maryland firm, Nevins & Associates, for a six-month contract that paid $15,000 a month. Nevins was the first of many "reputation management firms" paid off by the university administrators. And that payment was just the start.

NAVY VET MAKES THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE — SETS HIMSELF ON FIRE TO PROTEST THE VA’S LACK OF HEALTHCARE

Doused in gasoline, a former chief petty officer stood outside a Veterans Affairs (VA) outpatient clinic when he lit himself on fire and eventually died nine hours later. His wife recently confirmed that her husband was upset with the inadequate care that he had been receiving at the VA facility shortly before his suicide.
A seven-year veteran of the U.S. Navy, Charles Ingram III walked nine miles from his home, past an American Legion park and a military veteran memorial, before arriving at the parking lot of the VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic around 1 p.m. on Saturday, March 19. While standing on a grass lawn near the clinic, the 51-year-old poured several gallons of gasoline on himself before committing self-immolation.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This kind of incident, in many forms, across this county, is accelerating for our Vets, and should never, ever be happening, period, end of discussion.

Although I despise war as a way of resolving geopolitical differences, all of our Vets, particularly those who have seen combat, deserve the kind of care that a Dick Cheney gets; they have earned it, even if the reasons for the wars are purely financial, rather than "protecting the American way of life".

President Obama was observed at a photo op today with Vets from the Wounded Warriors Project; perhaps he should have spent the time more wisely by immediately sacking the current head of the VA, Robert Mc Donald, for gross incompetence, and replacing him with someone capable enough to actually do the job.

Debunking the "The Saudis did 9-11" nonsense!

And finally, here is some common sense that totally undermines the attempt to frame Saudi Arabia for 9-11. If Saudi Arabia really wanted to hurt the United States, they don't need to fly airplanes into skyscrapers to do it. All they have to do is ask for their money back, all at once. The resulting damage to the US financial system would make 9-11 look like a minor inconvenience in comparison.

And it would be perfectly legal for Saudi Arabia to ask for their money back.

Which is why we know that the claim that Saudi Arabia was behind 9-11 has no more basis in fact than the claim that Saddam had nuclear weapons or that Assad gassed his own people right in front of the UN chemical weapons inspectors.

Alex Jones pushing "Saudis did 9-11" fraud.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Starts at 12:50.

Now then, keep in mind that 9-11 is used to justify invasions of countries by the US. First they blamed Afghanistan for 9-11 ... and invaded. Then they blamed Iraq for 9-11 ... and invaded. Now they are blaming Saudi Arabia for 9-11 ...

To find out if you are being lied to, look for what should be there and isn't, and in this case, it is a motive for Saudi Arabia to attack the United States.

Saudi Arabia has grown very wealthy from the petro-dollar deal. Saudi Arabia has invested much of that money back into the United States, and why would they do something that risks having those billions seized by the US Government?

And, if Saudi Arabia decided they wanted to hurt the United States, they don;t need to crash airplanes into buildings to do it. All they need to do is ask for tall of their money back, and the US economy would implode, with the resulting devastation making the World Trade Towers look like a minor inconvenience. Plus, it would be perfectly legal and moral for Saudi Arabia to do that!

U.S. CITIZENS MAY BE BANNED FROM BUYING BODY ARMOR

It’s time to remind US citizens again of HR 378, the Act that would “prohibit the purchase, ownership, or possession of enhanced body armor by civilians, with exceptions,” (source). The Act caused a stir when it was first reported on in early 2015, but has since dwindled in the media, and slipped through the cracks of the public’s attention. The proposal is still open, however, and those who are interested can track its progress through the (source) link above.

The Act was proposed on January 14, 2015 by Representatives Michael Honda (D-CA), Alcee Hastings (D-FL), Robin Kelly (D-IL), and Danny Davis (D-IL). According to washingtonwatch.com, other sponsors or cosponsors include Representatives Barbara Lee (D-CA), Eric Swalwell (D-CA), and Julia Brownley (D-CA).

Webmaster's Commentary:

We are very lucky here on Oahu; the police are generally courteous here, and I have never, ever had a confrontation at all with any police professional. Yes, I have had a couple of speeding tickets, but I earned them.

But I cannot begin to appreciate how horrific it must be for inner city moms and dads to wonder, when their teens walk out of the house, if they will actually come back, and in one piece.

There is a cultural illness which has infected American policing, and it happened just about the same time as police officers began to be trained by members, and former members, of the IDF, meaning that Americans were now going to be treated like the Israeli military treats the Palestinians.

Police in this country appear to have adopted a "Code Napoleon" approach to law enforcement, which means that suspects are presumed guilty until proven innocent, which is the absolute, polar opposite of what American jurisprudence has always been about. And the higher-ups at both the state and national levels seem to have transmitted the message that behaving with complete impunity toward the American people is perfectly acceptable.

This has to stop.

Donald Trump's campaign manager will not be prosecuted

The state attorney's office in Palm Beach County, Florida, will not prosecute Donald Trump's campaign manager Corey Lewandowski for battery, according to sources familiar with the case.

The Florida State's attorney's office said it will hold news conference at 2 p.m. Thursday to address the matter, according to a statement.

The news is a sigh of relief for both Lewandowski and the Trump campaign, which risked facing a major legal distraction during the heat of the competitive presidential campaign.

A Connecticut judge has overturned a decision by the state's Freedom of Information Commission to release a spiral-bound notebook that the mass murderer called "The Big Book of Granny" and into which he poured his thoughts, The Hartford Courant reported Tuesday.

The judge also nixed the release of a spreadsheet of earlier mass killings that Lanza created, according to the Courant, which had requested the items.

The FOIA, Judge Carl Schuman wrote, does not apply to "documents that were private property before seizure by the police and that a court would ordinarily order returned to the rightful owner by the end of a criminal case."

Webmaster's Commentary:

I have to wonder just how many drug companies are in Judge Schuman's portfolio, in light of the following report, from ablechild.org, reported in 2014:

Lanza appeared to be on psychiatric drugs when the shooting spree occurred; is that what the judge in this case doesn't want the public to find out, in terms of the side effects of the drugs Lanza was prescribed?!?

ILLINOIS POLICE DEPT GETS RID OF BODY CAMS BECAUSE ADMINISTRATIVE WORKLOAD IS TOO BURDENSOME

The Minooka Police Department decided that the benefits from police body cameras do not outweigh the inconvenient administrative work associated with their use. They have halted the department use of body cameras after only six months.

In 2013, a high-profile study of the use of police body cameras in Rialto California showed their use to be nothing short of stunning. After body cameras had been implemented, the department saw a 60% reduction in use of force instances and an 88% reduction in officer complaints.

After the highly controversial murder of Mike Brown in Ferguson, Missouri in 2014, the topic of police body cameras became part of the national discussion. Departments across the country began adopting the beneficial technology.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Do not travel to any state where police body cameras are not mandated; this can be completely hazardous to your health, if not your life.

‘Democracy Spring is a Soros-funded, anti-Trump radical movement’

Americans, at least the enlightened ones, know that the system is rigged. And the organic element that’s here is that the people of America have every right to be angry because big money dominates politics, Christopher Greene from alternative GreeneWave TV, told RT.

RT: What's the key driver of this public anger we're seeing in the US capital?
Christopher Greene: George Soros, primarily. It is important to note that ‘Democracy Spring’ is an anti-Donald Trump radical organization.

CIA Operations lead to the Spread of Chaos in the World

Most people are aware of the wide range of secret US Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) operations which the White House has been employing at different points throughout history to wreak havoc around the globe. And eventually even those who don’t may soon fall victims of the wide range of operations the CIA conducts.

The following are just some of the most notorious:

15 Saudi ‘hijackers’ were CIA agents working for US

“We know that the 15 hijackers who were Saudis, the alleged hijackers, because they were not on those planes – not one of the 19 hijackers, or any Arabs, were on any of the four planes, according to the passenger list, and according to all of the evidence that would be there if they were on the planes, but has not been produced,” Dr. Barrett said.

“So these 15 Saudi patsies, who were set up to take the blame for 9/11, were in fact CIA agents. We know this – I had this confirmed directly by a CIA source that these 15 Saudis entered, and repeatedly reentered on these supposedly – they call them employment visas, but there’s a special number for employment visas that are only given to CIA assets as a reward for their service to the Central Intelligence Agency, and this visa allows them to come to the US. Typically they’re paid for their work for the CIA in Saudi Arabia, and then they are given this special kind of visa which is disguised as an employment visa but it’s a of particular type,” he stated.

Media Blackout Continues as 700+ Arrests Reported In Front Of The U.S. Capitol

While Democracy Spring activists have been involved in a non violent sit-in since April 11 mainstream corporate media has been silent on the issue. With reports of over 700 arrests and what some are claiming to be the largest for non-violent protest in Washington D.C. history some are questioning if the media will spend more than 30 seconds covering the story.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The corporate media LOVES big money in politics, because much of that cash is spent buying ads in newspapers, magazines, radio, and TV. The last thing the corporate media wants is any kind of restrictions on big money politics!

Nevins was the first of many "reputation management firms" paid off by the university administrators

Latest Corbyn Hit-Piece: He Earns MP’s Salary

If I hadn’t seen for myself that this article “exposing” Jeremy Corbyn was published on the Daily Telegraph’s website, I would have assumed it was a spoof from The Onion – an even more preposterous one than normal.

In a lengthy hit-piece, the Telegraph suggests that Corbyn is a hypocrite for criticising David Cameron over his efforts to conceal the financial benefits he received from his father’s tax-haven investments.

First it was sausages..now Germany 'BANS' sexy women in adverts after Cologne sex assaults

German Justice Minister Heiko Maas said the move to ban ads which "reduce women or men to sexual objects" is an attempt to create a "modern gender image”. The proposal, if introduced later this year, would see courts decide on what qualifies as sexist. The plan has been called political correctness gone mad by its critics, who said it was the first step towards a “nanny state”.

BREAKING: All Charges DROPPED Against Trump Campaign Manager Corey Lewandowski

Florida State Attorney David Aronberg has declined to prosecute the Michelle Fields incident against Corey Lewandowski. The original charges were filed by a media-hungry Clinton supporter trying his best to smear Trump by association. There was never a legitimate case here. How could you possibly prove his intent was to assault Fields, when it seemed to most observers that Lewandowski was simply protecting his boss from an overzealous reporter.

And check out this photo of Michelle.

Rafael Cruz, A Pro-Batista, CIA Connected Cuban In Exile? Really Ted?

In an article written by David Zephyr, he has exposed the connection between Rafael Cruz the father of candidate Ted Cruz and the Bush oil connection. Interesting facts have arisen connecting him to Lee Harvey Oswald. Interesting that Mr. Zephr has discovered the CIA connection that many of us have suspected of Rafael Cruz for a long time.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Ted Cruz likes to claim his father was an anti-Castro Cuban exile, but that claim is destroyed by the photos taken of Lee Harvey Oswald handing out pro-Castro leaflets in New Orleans, in which Ted Cruz's father is shown.

New Shock Report Shows Muslims Building a "Nation Within a Nation," Bringing Sharia Law to Britain

In short, there is no "integration" into "one global community" happening in these areas of mass immigration from the Middle East. These people are not "assimilating" in their new environments. They are coming into an area and expecting that area to bow to and adopt their beliefs, beliefs including Sharia Law.

Everywhere this immigration happens, this will be the result. Everyone knows it, but anyone who attempts to even bring this up in a rational way is automatically labeled an Islamophobe just for pointing out the obvious.

The headline says Britain, but this situation is coming soon to a city near you.

Ted Cruz Once Argued to the Court of Appeals That There Is No “Substantive-Due-Process Right” to Buy Sex Toys

Cruz was Texas solicitor general from 2003 to 2008, and he and his team fought really hard on this one, filing a 76-page legal brief making some of the most ridiculous arguments for state and police power against a person’s right to buy, own, and use a dildo in their own home that anyone has ever seen in the history of America.

Seriously… what in the hell is wrong with Ted Cruz?

And this is who anyone wants to vote for as president? He’s a lawyer who made one of the most anti-liberty, pro-Big Government arguments any court of law ever heard.
