Surveillance State Seizes Coronavirus Pandemic as Opportunity to Expand

Following the advice of Rahm Emanuel to “never let a serious crisis go to waste,” the Surveillance Hawks in both government and Big Tech are seizing the “opportunity” provided by the coronavirus pandemic to increase surveillance of citizens.

The Washington Post is reporting:

The U.S. government is in active talks with Facebook, Google and a wide array of tech companies and health experts about how they can use location data gleaned from Americans’ phones to combat the novel coronavirus, including tracking whether people are keeping one another at safe distances to stem the outbreak.

Will Coronavirus-Weary Americans Start to Rebel in ‘Wartime’ ?

How long will we suffer in social isolation, perhaps for months, while a state-induced Great Depression takes over?

A prediction: The longer the orders to shelter in place and self-isolate remain in force, the greater the probability they will begin to be ignored and people will take the risks to end their isolation and be with friends.

Will Americans suffer in social isolation, inside their own homes for months, while a state-induced Great Depression washes over the land?

My guess is that many will rebel.

Stanford Professor: Data Indicates We’re Severely Overreacting To Coronavirus

In an analysis published Tuesday, Stanford’s John P.A. Ioannidis — co-director of the university’s Meta-Research Innovation Center and professor of medicine, biomedical data science, statistics, and epidemiology and population health — suggests that the response to the coronavirus pandemic may be “a fiasco in the making” because we are making seismic decisions based on “utterly unreliable” data. The data we do have, Ioannidis explains, indicates that we are likely severely overreacting.

A Contagion Of Fear

Tens of thousands of people die from the flu every year, and no one panics. Over 60,000 Americans died of the flu in the 2019 flu season and over 80,000 Americans died of the flu during the 2018 flu season. That computes to more people dying from the flu—just in America in one month alone—than have died from corona in the entire world to date.

Think of it another way: Every year, as many or more Americans die of the flu than were killed in all of the Vietnam War. And no panic! No closed restaurants. No empty shelves in stores. No presidential plea to stay home. No closed churches. No businesses shutting down. No panic!

Ducey calls out National Guard, halts surgeries, closes some businesses

Facing increased pressure, Gov. Doug Ducey activated the National Guard to restock grocery store shelves, halted all elective surgeries and closed all bars, gyms and movie theaters in any county with confirmed cases of COVID-19.

The order issued late Thursday also bars dine-in service in restaurants in the same counties by close of business on Friday, March 20. But Ducey said restaurants will be able to deliver alcoholic drinks to patrons who get food to go.

SACRAMENTO —

Gov. Gavin Newsom on Thursday ordered all Californians to stay at home, marking the first mandatory restrictions placed on the lives of all 40 million residents in the state’s fight against the novel coronavirus.

The governor’s order comes at a critical time in California, where 19 people have died and an additional 958 have tested positive for the disease.

Italian Government Study: 99% of their Coronavirus Fatalities Were Already Sick; Half Diagnosed with 3 or More Diseases

"Serious doubts about the accuracy of COVID-19 testing methods, results, mortality rates, and the supposedly unique and extreme lethality of this virus are starting to emerge, even within mainstream media and government reporting. A recent study released by Italy's national health authority found that nearly everyone who was pronounced dead from COVID-19 was already struggling with serious chronic disease(s)."

Italy’s Embrace of China’s ‘Belt and Road’ Is a Snub to Washington

Anybody wonder why Italy has been hit so hard by the virus?

More than seven centuries after a 17-year-old Marco Polo set off from Venice on a voyage that would culminate at the court of Kublai Khan, the Italian city continues to tout itself as the westernmost point of the ancient Silk Road, China’s gateway into Europe. Now it faces some competition from Trieste, an increasingly busy port city on the northeastern edge of Italy, whose contributions to commerce and culture included popularizing coffee by importing, roasting, and shipping the beans northward, to Vienna’s cafes and beyond.

Coronavirus will bankrupt more people than it kills — and that's the real global emergency

Coronavirus’s economic danger is exponentially greater than its health risks to the public. If the virus does directly affect your life, it is most likely to be through stopping you going to work, forcing your employer to make you redundant, or bankrupting your business.

The trillions of dollars wiped from financial markets this week will be just the beginning, if our governments do not step in. And if President Trump continues to stumble in his handling of the situation, it may well affect his chances of re-election. Joe Biden in particular has identified Covid-19 as a weakness for Trump, promising “steady, reassuring” leadership during America’s hour of need.

Trump Regime COVID-19 Guidelines Exclude Equitable Fiscal Measures for Ordinary Americans

In times of economic duress like now, US policymakers and the Wall Street owned and operated Fed throw hundreds of billions or trillions of dollars at business and investors to aid them and financial markets — crumbs at most for cash-strapped households hard-pressed to get by.

For weeks, Trump failed to acknowledge the risk of a growing public health crisis, admitting it belatedly on Monday with guidelines that exclude financial help for ordinary people in need.

It calls for “15 days to slow (COVID-19’s) spread” that could take months or longer to control and eliminate nationwide.

Anthony Migchels -- "We Face the Mother of all Depressions"

Make no mistake whatsoever: this is the New World Order's long awaited Big Push.

A magician does something with his left hand, as he signals his audience to look at his right hand.

They have been at it since late September. Remember that 'impeachment'? Everybody was just wondering: 'what's it all about?' Well, it was about distracting people from the financial implosion that had begun.

Soleimani? He got blown away on the day that..........the Federal Reserve reported they had already doled out $6 TRILLION short term loans on the repo market. They have been at it ever since, and it would be interesting to know what they have already given out. At this rate, they must be well in to 12, 15 Trillion territory, which is 2008 all over again, with the Fed doling out 16 TRILLION in loans to its Bankster buddies, $9 Trillion of which they admitted 'they cannot account for.'

2008 all over again? Well, this is only the beginning, 2008 was just a prelude, a walk in the park.

The Biggest Thing Since 1776 is Happening NOW… How the Coronavirus Will Spark the Greater Depression

International Man: Panicked people are emptying supermarket shelves and stockpiling toilet paper. Hand sanitizer is impossible to find anywhere.

Is the impact of the fear and hysteria greater than the risk of the virus itself?

Doug Casey: Yes, very much so. The virus itself is what we can call a first-order effect. I don’t want to spend much time talking about the flu itself because, even though worst-case numbers like a million deaths in the US are tossed around, it’s not the biggest problem.

The second-order effects—like the economy shutting down from hysteria—are actually much more serious.

The third-order effects—new laws and state action—will have the longest-lasting consequences. We can talk about them in a minute.

The Only Pandemic in America Is That of Unbridled Fear and a Total Lack of Intelligent Thought

“I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.” ~ Frank Herbert,

Can the common flu cause people in America and worldwide to lose their minds, and lose all ability to think? Apparently, that is the case, as Americans have gone insane over a new monster created out of thin air called coronavirus. I have anticipated a scenario such as this, and written about it for the past decade or more, but the response by the people of this country is more ridiculous than even I could have imagined. It is the most pathetic sight I have seen in my life.

Judge Andrew Napolitano: Coronavirus fear lets government assault our freedom in violation of Constitution

He was wrong on the impeachment, but he is right on this. These shutdown orders are unconstitutional. Mayors and governors are issuing a boiler plate order that seems to always contain the phrase no gatherings more than 10 people. This is martial law under false pretenses.

“The Constitution of the United States is a law for rulers and people, equally in war and in peace, and covers with the shield of its protection all classes of men, at all times and under all circumstances." – Ex parte Milligan, U.S. Supreme Court (1866)

During the Civil War, when President Abraham Lincoln thought it expedient to silence those in the Northern states who challenged his wartime decisions by incarcerating them in military prisons in the name of public safety, he was rebuked by a unanimous Supreme Court.

Clusterfuck Nation – Blog March 16, 2020 Things Have Changed

At least in wartime, the bars stay open.

The mega financial bubble-of-bubbles is deflating with frightful velocity precisely because of the efforts since 2008 to artificially inflate it. The Federal Reserve gave it one final blast Sunday night — while everybody else was counting their rolls of toilet paper — and the effect was like blowing hot air into a shredded Zeppelin.

The stresses mounting on the national scene today reflect the extreme fragilities of the way-of-life we constructed since then, and an awful lot of bad choices we made in the process......

The Coronavirus Hoax

Governments love crises because when the people are fearful they are more willing to give up freedoms for promises that the government will take care of them. After 9/11, for example, Americans accepted the near-total destruction of their civil liberties in the PATRIOT Act’s hollow promises of security.

It is ironic to see the same Democrats who tried to impeach President Trump last month for abuse of power demanding that the Administration grab more power and authority in the name of fighting a virus that thus far has killed less than 100 Americans.

The Coronavirus Hobgoblin

The great H.L. Mencken, a classical liberal when such creatures still existed, once wrote, “The whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by an endless series of hobgoblins, most of them imaginary.” I find myself repeating this quote more and more these days.

America, and the rest of the world, is in the throes of a panic that has never been seen before, outside the fanciful scripts of Hollywood. A new “super” virus, the Coronavirus, is being hyped nonstop by our state-controlled media as the new bubonic plague. The fear porn emanating from our television sets is relentless.

Russian Scientists Discover Previously Unknown Property of Ceramics

Scientists at Tomsk Polytechnic University (TPU) have discovered a previously unknown physical effect, which significantly increases the control capabilities of ceramics. According to the authors of the study, their findings can be used to develop new types of ceramics with improved performance.

The TPU scientists have discovered that after treating alumina ceramics with high-energy ion beams, their structural properties change at depths exceeding ion penetration depth. A similar phenomenon – the so-called long-range effect – was previously observed only when irradiating metals.

“We’ve found that structural-phase changes in ceramics occur at depths hundreds of times greater than ion penetration depth. There is still no definite explanation for this effect; there’re still heated discussions regarding the phenomenon,” Sergey Gyngazov, Professor at the TPU Control and Diagnostics Department, said.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Good on the TPU scientists; this discovery may well change the way industrial ceramics are created forever!!

American students must serve like Israeli soldiers on their campuses against BDS — Steny Hoyer

House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer called on American college students to serve like Israeli soldiers on their campuses, fighting the boycott movement.

“America must not be fooled by BDS. And that is up to all of us,” he said in a speech to the Israel lobby conference AIPAC on March 1. “I’m told there are more than 3600 high school and college students at policy conference this year…. Welcome, welcome. You, as Betsy [Berns Korn, AIPAC’s president] said, are the front lines in this battle. As surely as Israel relies on the extraordinary young people in the IDF [Israeli Defense Forces], it relies on you for steadfast support and success. As successful as we are today, we must also be successful tomorrow on behalf of our ally and our strategic interest. You are here this week, students, to gain knowledge that will help you in your mission to go back and share Israel’s story with your schools, your communities, your fellow students, your peers.”

NYC School Shuts Over Coronavirus Fears

It was not clear whether a student or parent — or neither — was suspected to have the virus. In any case, the move could have ripple effects across New York’s vast school system.

In a separate development, Governor Cuomo announced Tuesday morning that the state had confirmed its second case of the virus, a 50-year-old man who lives in Westchester County and works in Manhattan. Unlike the first confirmed case of coronavirus in the city, a woman who had recently traveled to Iran, the new patient had no known association with previous coronavirus hotspots — suggesting that the virus is now spreading locally. Cuomo said that the man, who has been hospitalized, had an underlying respiratory condition.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is starting to look as though this pandemic is about to have a chain reaction hitting here, in the US, and when it does, the results may well be both grim, and unprecedented.

Schools Are Spying on Students — But Students Can Fight Back

Schools across the country are increasingly using technology to spy on students at home, at school, and on social media. Today, the Electronic Frontier Foundation (EFF) launched a new Surveillance Self-Defense guide for students and their parents, so they can learn more about how schools are watching them, and how they can fight back.

The surveillance technology currently in use includes software to scan students’ social media posts, cameras with facial recognition and other scanning capabilities, and microphones to “detect aggression.” Schools can even track you on devices that they don’t control: if you have to download a certain kind of security certificate to use the school Internet, they may be monitoring your browser history and messages you send.

SCHOOL COP TASKED WITH 'PROTECTING' YOUNG CHILDREN, ARRESTED FOR CHILD SEX TRAFFICKING

SOURCE: THE FREE THOUGHT PROJECT

Poplar Bluff, MO — There are so many cases each week of police officers getting caught with child porn or sexually assaulting children that TFTP cannot report on all of them. However, the following case out of Missouri is so disconcerting that we felt it was necessary to make a point. Child predators often seek out positions of authority which allow them to carry out their sick desires while garnering the trust of those around them. Poplar Bluff police officer Brandon Michael Hopper was one of these predators.

Last week, the 39-year-old was charged with the unclassified felony of first-degree sexual trafficking of a child, the Class B felony of first-degree promoting child pornography and two Class D felonies of possession of child pornography by Butler County Prosecuting Attorney Kacey Proctor.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is so wretchedly morally wrong, and emotionally ill, I just have no place to start here.

But was there absolutely nothing in Hopper's background, indicating that it might be an evolving problem here?!?

Anyone tasked with protecting children, should not mind thorough, and on-going vetting of everything they do, to keep kids safe.

Another day, and another piece of media is circulating the web that depicts a child in an uncomfortable situation. This time a drag queen dances suggestively for a small girl.

The video, uploaded on Tiktok, opens with a scantily clad male with his rear cheeks hanging out, crawling on hands and knees towards the child sitting in a chair. Taking on the air of a scene from a strip club, patrons of the restaurant clap and cheer. He then stands up with his short shorts, leaving little to the imagination, dances a bit, and then kneels next to the girl, as he says something to her while jiggling his booty.

Schools Are Pushing the Boundaries of Surveillance Technologies

By Mona Wang and Gennie Gebhart

A school district in New York recently adopted facial recognition technology to monitor students, and it is now one of a growing number of schools across the country conducting mass privacy violations of kids in the name of “safety.” The invasive use of surveillance technologies in schools has grown exponentially, often without oversight or recourse for concerned students or their parents.

Not only that, but schools are experimenting with the very same surveillance technologies that totalitarian governments use to surveil and abuse the rights of their citizens everywhere: online, offline, and on their phones. What does that mean? We are surveilling our students as if they were dissidents under an authoritarian regime.

Schools must stop using these invasive technologies...

THE TEN PLANKS OF THE COMMUNIST MANIFESTO

2-14-20

Karl Marx describes in his communist manifesto, the ten steps necessary to destroy a free enterprise system and replace it with a system of omnipotent government power, so as to effect a communist socialist state. Those ten steps are known as the Ten Planks of The Communist Manifesto… The following brief presents the original ten planks within the Communist Manifesto written by Karl Marx in 1848, along with the American adopted counterpart for each of the planks. From comparison it's clear MOST Americans have by myths, fraud and deception under the color of law by their own politicians in both the Republican and Democratic and parties, been transformed into Communists.

Another thing to remember, Karl Marx in creating the Communist Manifesto designed these planks AS A TEST to determine whether a society has become communist or not. If they are all in effect and in force, then the people ARE practicing communists.

Often when we think of the word psychopath, we think of deranged serial killers that are hopefully locked up in prison for life.

While there are many psychopaths who kill for reasons that are unfathomable to most of us and who are indeed in prison, there is an even greater number roaming free in our society and often using their condition to their advantage in any way possible.

In fact, it is very likely that you know some - they might even be your colleagues.

How can colleges fight Israel lobby’s threats?

A right-wing Israel advocacy group has accused progressive professors at a Brooklyn, New York, community college of anti-Semitism.

It is threatening faculty members with legal action based on their perceived support of Palestinian rights.

These accusations are part of an expanding attack on students and faculty at US universities by Israel lobby groups trying to criminalize Palestine solidarity organizing by conflating criticism of Israel with anti-Jewish bigotry.

The Lawfare Project is representing a right-wing professor at Kingsborough Community College who had worked with the group to file a lawsuit against the college in 2016.

The Lawfare Project also threatened to sue members of faculty in October 2018.

UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI STUDENTS WILL NOW BE REQUIRED TO INSTALL LOCATION TRACKING APP

SOURCE: THE MIND UNLEASHED
According to a new report from the Kansas City Star, the University of Missouri (MU) has started using an app called SpotterEdu to track students to determine attendance in classes.

Individual professors will choose whether or not to use the app. If they choose to use it, students in those classes will be unable to opt-out and therefore forced to install the software on their mobile phones.

The unprecedented Orwellian move requires students to install the app with no option to opt-out of the potential privacy-invasive software. “A student will have to participate in this recording of attendance,” Jim Spain, vice provost for undergraduate studies at MU said in a statement to the Kansas City Star.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Were I even thinking about attending this university, I would have to decline, due to this student surveillance app, and I would let both Jim Spain and Dr. Mun Choi, its President, understand why, in no uncertain terms.

And folks; this is precisely what this app is; a way of "grooming" students to accept more and more surveillance in their lives, as the "new normal".

2020 interview with Socrates: Earth poised for epic ‘slave revolt’ victory over .01% evil with arrests of US War Criminal looters of trillions??? (11 of ?)

Premises:

1. Q is a White House insider; proved by accurate predictions and post-timing exact with Trump Tweets. Although all evidence I see aligns with Q being true White Hats ready to reveal damning evidence for .01% arrests, I also see all evidence as plausibly deniable. That is, if Q is a PsyOp to ID then target Patriots, sheeple will see, hear, and say only what they're dictated to see, hear, and say. Read on, and prove me wrong.

Florida Teacher In Danger of Losing His Job Because He Uses Medical Marijuana

The board of Marion County Public Schools in Florida has suspended a Belleview High School teacher and student services manager over his use of medical cannabis. Mike Hickman, 50, was placed on unpaid leave after the Superintendent of Schools, Heidi Maier, recommended he be fired for testing positive for cannabinoids in early November 2019. Hickman is a registered cannabis patient under Florida’s 2016 medical cannabis law. And a physician licensed under the state’s program to recommend medical cannabis issued Hickman a recommendation for the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder, which is an approved condition.

Now, Hickman, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran who served during Operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm in the early 1990s, is fighting for his job back—and his livelihood.

7-year-old children left psychologically terrorized after hearing Greta Thunberg speech… “I don’t want to die!”

According to the National Post, the schoolchildren were forced to watch a video of a “carbon clock.” The clock counted down from eight years, suggesting the children have less than a decade to live. The video warned that eight years is “the estimated amount of time it will take to emit enough carbon to warm the world by 1.5 degrees Celsius” – setting off a catastrophic string of events that will cause mass extinction of humans.

Psychologists warn that children are high impressionable at this age. “Children this young are highly impressionable concrete thinkers who interpret what they hear very literally,” says Pediatrician Dr. Michelle Cretella. “Between the ages of 7 and 11, children gradually become able to understand specific examples of cause and effect, but they still struggle with abstract ideas and putting issues in context.”

12 Manners Older Generations Were Taught As Children

They may seem outdated to some, but these are the manners we grew up with. There wasn’t any two ways about it: this was how you were expected to behave, especially when in public. The consequences for talking back or disobeying were often a swift clip of the ears or the behind as these were not negotiable or “sometimes” rules. These manners molded us into the people we are today!

75% Of Registered Voters Can't Identify Iran On A Map

As thousands of American service members prepare for the worst in the Middle East following an American drone strike that killed Iran's second-most powerful man, just 23% of registered voters can identify the Islamic republic on an unlabeled map of the globe, according to a Morning Consult/Politico survey.

When shown an unlabeled map of just the Middle East, the number rose to a still-abysmal 28%. Eight percent of those thought Iran was Iraq on the second map - just like Joe Biden.

Community Schools Are Not the Antidote to Charter Schools

Op-Ed by John Klyczek

Democratic presidential candidates, such as Elizabeth Warren, have pledged to fix the American education system by replacing privatized charter schools with “community schools” that incorporate “socioemotional-learning (SEL)” programs. These “Democratic” community schools, which teach “social skills” and “emotional competencies,” might sound like “liberal” or “leftwing” education reforms. But don’t be fooled by the pathos of such leftist “social justice” rhetoric. The Democrats’ socioemotional community-learning centers are no more “progressive” than corporate-fascist charter schools...

A PRIMER ON “MARTIAL LAW”

No American alive today can believe that the men who wrote the Declaration of Independence, who acted upon it to separate the Colonies from and to conduct a long and sanguinary war against Great Britain, and who upon the strength of the Declaration then enacted constitutions for their States and the United States ever imagined that the powers to behave in the fashion of George III—powers that he had used to bring about “a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object [that] evince[d] a design to reduce [Americans] under absolute Despotism”; and powers the very use of which justified the invocation and exercise of “the[ people’s] right, * * * their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security”—were among the “just powers” that “Governments * * * instituted among Men, deriv[e] * * * from the consent of the governed”.

Some UK universities will be handing out first-class degrees to every one of their students by 2030 if grade inflation continues

Universities minister Chris Skidmore, responding to the findings, said the 'increasing and unexplained' number of first class degrees is 'undermining the faith in our world-leading universities'.

Tom Richmond, who has advised government education ministers and is the director of the EDSK think-tank, said: 'If it becomes a case of 'top prizes for all' then the degree classification could, regrettably, become meaningless.'

VACCINE FAIL: “WHOOPING COUGH OUTBREAK CLOSES TEXAS SCHOOL DESPITE 100-PERCENT VACCINATION RATE: OFFICIALS”

SOURCE: GREEN MED INFO
Despite a 100% vaccination rate, a Texas school closes early for winter break due to a whooping cough outbreak. Clearly the vaccine is failing to work as advertised.

If ever there was convincing proof that vaccination does not equate to bona fide immunity, it is at St. Theresa Catholic School in Texas…

Reported by FoxNews.com on Dec. 19th, the school experienced an outbreak of whooping cough, causing them to close their doors and start their winter break early.

On Dec. 4th, St. Theresa Catholic School in Memorial Park, reported its first case to the Texas Department of State Health Services. Since then, the outbreak has continued to escalate — and not because of the abuse of religious and medical exemptions, and so-called “anti-vaxxer” parents.

According to the FoxNews report, the school vaccine uptake rate was at 100%:

Webmaster's Commentary:

As vaccine failures go, this one was utterly epic.

And we have a companion piece, also at blacklistednews (originally published at sputnik.com), which is no harbinger of vaccine freedom, for any reason;

MIT Develos Tattoo ID, to track who has veen vaccinated.

The article goes on to state; "SOURCE: SPUTNIK NEWS
MIT researchers have struck on a novel, and for many surely unsettling, method of keeping track of who has and hasn’t had a particular vaccination – creating an ink that can be safely embedded in the skin alongside the vaccine itself, and only visible using a special infra-red application.

The invisible “tattoo” is a pattern made up of tiny semiconducting crystals that reflect light and thus glows under infra-red light. The pattern will be delivered alongside the vaccine into the skin via hi-tech dissolvable microneedles made of a mixture of polymers and sugar.

“In areas where paper vaccination cards are often lost or do not exist at all, and electronic databases are unheard of, this technology could enable the rapid and anonymous detection of patient vaccination history to ensure that every child is vaccinated,” MIT researcher Kevin McHugh said in a statement.

Strikingly, the research was funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation – in fact, the project came about following a direct request from the Microsoft founder himself, who has been personally and somewhat controversially involved in efforts to eradicate polio and measles via vaccinations worldwide."

This funding... was no accident. And neither is the reality that getting vaccinated against measles, is not a guarantee that a child will not get measles;
Seven of My Vaccinated Kids Have the Measles Right Now
The article went on to state: "According to Mrs. Pearl, the health department official also told her that measles vaccine failure is common and that about half the people getting measles in the current measles clusters in Brooklyn are fully vaccinated.

Mary Holland, a Harvard-educated lawyer on the faculty at New York University and co-author of two books about vaccines, says she’s not surprised.

While the CDC reports the efficacy rate after two doses of the measles vaccine at 97 percent, some experts, like Holland, believe that number is inflated.

“The measles component of the MMR suffers from primary and secondary failure,” Holland says. “In other words, it simply doesn’t work in some individuals and in other individuals the protection wanes. One size just doesn’t fit all.”
