Finally the Russians Have Caught On That Negotiation with Washington Is Pointless

No more provocations from Washington. Period. The insanity must stop. Now.

If the dumbshit Western peoples and the corrupt EU, UK, Canadian, Japanese, and Australian political puppets don’t wake up ASAP, war will be upon us, a war that cannot be won.

The criminal neoconservatives must immediately be removed from power in Washington before the insane fools start World War 3.

The CIA and the Pentagon must be put under tight constraints. And Donald Trump needs a massive trustworthy security guard.

The European governments need to immediately disband the NATO alliance.

Zionists Have Been Hypocritically Practicing “BDS” for Centuries

And all of these anti-BDS politicians and leaders are simply enabling this criminality and “chutzpah.”

Organized Zionism seems to conveniently forget that the original creator of these types of economic boycotts, sanctions and divestment programs to get other nations, individuals or political organizations to comply with their demands, or bring them to their knees, began with the Zionists themselves.

Did the Pentagon Bomb Syrian Army to Kill Ceasefire Deal?

The US has officially taken responsibility for the incident which it called a “mistake”...

A rift between the Pentagon and the White House turned into open rebellion on Saturday when two US F-16s and two A-10 warplanes bombed Syrian Arab Army (SAA) positions at Deir al-Zor killing at least 62 Syrian regulars and wounding 100 others.

Many analysts now wonder whether the attacks are an indication that the neocon-strewn DOD is actively engaged in sabotaging President Obama’s Syria policy, a claim that implies that the Pentagon is led by anti-democratic rebels who reject the Constitutional authority of the civilian leadership. Saturday’s bloodletting strongly suggests that a mutiny is brewing at the War Department.

How Trump Wins the Debate

Trump has the same imperative and same opportunity as JFK and Reagan.

He has to meet and exceed expectations, which are not terribly high. He has to convince a plurality of voters, who seem prepared to vote for him, that he’s not a terrible risk, and that he will be a president of whom they can be proud.

He has to show the country a Trump that contradicts the caricature created by those who dominate our politics, culture and press.

The Trump on stage at Hofstra University will have 90 minutes to show that the malicious cartoon of Donald Trump is a libelous lie.

‘Made in China’ US military boots a boon for Donald Trump

Our brave soldiers are wearing boots that - instead of being 100 percent American-made - seem to be imported from China and at the tax-payers’ expense. This news could not have come at a worst time, Lionel, political and media analyst, told RT.

Wellco Enterprises has sold thousands of boots worth millions of dollars to the US military for decades.

It turns out, however, the famous 'Made in USA' military footwear might actually be coming from China. Wellco stands accused of allegedly removing 'Made in China' labels from its products.

And with the presidential elections just around the corner, media and political analyst Lionel says this scandal could not have happened at a better time for Republican candidate Donald Trump.

This Chart Shows The Staggering Hourly Cost Of Operating US Military Aircraft

The US military is set replace many of its aircraft with planes that cost substantially more to operate by the hour.

James Fallows, a national correspondent for The Atlantic, noted in a recent cover story for the magazine that costly military projects of questionable worth are becoming increasingly spread throughout congressional districts across the country. This means that projects such as the astronomically expensive F-35 become too politically sensitive to ever cancel, even if the planes themselves aren't cost-effective once they make it to the air.

The following graphic, courtesy of The Atlantic, highlights the disparity in flight hour costs for various aircraft in the US fleet.

White House Holds Russia ‘Responsible For Air Strikes On Aid Convoy Near Aleppo’

White House on Tuesday asserted that it holds Russia “responsible for air strikes in this space, given that their commitment under the cessation of hostilities was to certainly ground air operations where humanitarian assistance is flowing,” Reuters quoted deputy national security adviser Ben Rhodes as saying. Rhodes called the alleged bombing an “enormous humanitarian tragedy.”

House Panel: ‘Reboot’ of US Military to Cost $1 Trillion Over Next Decade

With officials constantly looking for new ways to add even more spending to the Pentagon’s annual budget, all the while griping about the spending caps they never respect in the first place, the House Armed Services Committee is laying out a ridiculously expensive scheme to “reboot” the entire military.

Panel members insist that 15 years of non-stop war has, despite that same period being loaded with record budgets, pushed the military to its limit, and that the new plan is needed, which will take a decade and cost an addition $1 trillion, above and beyond the already massive amounts being spent.

Hawks on the panel insist that the massive new scheme is needed because the military is “unready” to fight a major war with either Russia or China, despite the $1 trillion by itself likely to be well more than either nation spends in that time.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Congress spends like a drunken sailor on our military equipment, but doesn't spend smart.

Because of the incestuous relationship between Congressional representatives who award military contracts, and those defense industry corporations, which "grease the wheels" with generous contributions to said Congressional representatives, the following things happen:

1. Products absolutely do not perform as promised.

2. When those weapons arrive, they arrive so late as to be obsolete before even being put into service.

3. There are huge cost over-runs, which the government is forced to pay for.

Before Congress spends one more dime on military hardware and software, these problems have to be fixed, period, end of discussion.

All those who read this blog understand that I abhor war as a way though which the US government resolves its geopolitical disagreements; that being said, when conflict comes, I want to be assured that our military personnel have the best, and most current weapons available.

And by not fixing its weapons procurement process, Congress is completely short-changing every military personnel in uniform, and THAT...bites!!

'US priority in Syria: Stop Aleppo from falling to pro-Assad forces'

Right now, the Obama administration has one priority and that is to stop eastern Aleppo from falling to Syrian government forces. Strategically, if the jihad terrorists lose eastern Aleppo strategically this war is over. The fighting may go on for a while, but that will be the tipping point in terms of who is going to win. They can dance around any way they want, but the bottom line is always going to be to try and stop the Syrian and Russian forces from decimating these jihadists and changing the outcome.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Syria Announces New Offensive Against Aleppo as Truce Talks Fail

The Syrian government has announced a major new offensive against the Nusra Front-held half of the city of Aleppo today, urging locals to avoid areas where terrorists are located and announcing a number of areas through which civilians can flee the area.

The offensive was announced after the latest efforts to revive the already collapsed ceasefire failed. Syrian officials withdrew from the ceasefire on Monday, citing weekend violations. The announcement was vague on whether this offensive would include attempts to send ground forces into the area.

Aleppo has been contested for years, with districts regularly changing hands but no one ever getting control of the entire city. Nusra and the Syrian government have it roughly split down the middle now, with repeated attacks and counterattacks yielding large death tolls but limited territory changes.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Russia, in working in concert with Syria, has been very successful at turning back the jihadists (whether or not the US government is funding and equipping them; if Russia and the Syrian military successfully take back Aleppo, it is all over for the US military presence here, through their jihadists.

Pentagon Seeks 500 More Ground Troops in Iraq for Mosul Invasion

With officials saying that the planned invasion of the city of Mosul could begin as soon as October, the Pentagon is once again requesting more US ground troops be deployed into the area around the city, The Pentagon has already deployed several hundred troops multiple times in the last two months on the same basis.

The Pentagon is seeking another 500 “permanent” US troops in Iraq, which would bring the official figure in the country to 4,900. In practice, the Pentagon already is believed to have in excess of 6,000 troops in Iraq, but labels many of them “temporary” and doesn’t count them, despite their deployments not having any specific end date.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I would like to ask Sec Def Carter: how many American troops, please, will it take for a successful re-taking of Musul?!?

20,000?!?

50,000 ?!?

100,000?!?

And why in the world are our soldiers put into a position of fighting, dying and getting maimed for life against an enemy that the US government government has, in fact, created and funded?!?

What is this bloody and deadly masquerade?!?

And to ultimately what end?!?

That, I can tell you; to insure that American-sponsored multinationals control Iraq's oil, and that the oil is only sold for US dollars.

Israel Opens Mission at NATO Headquarters in Brussels

Israel has opened a mission at NATO headquarters in Brussels, aiming to step up ties with the alliance led by the United States.

Israeli ambassador to the European Union Aharon Leshno-Yaar presented his credentials Friday to NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg, Israel’s embassy said.

The diplomatic mission is expected to enhance Israel's contribution to the organization, the statement said.

Leshno-Yaar stated “the opening of a permanent office reflects Israel's role in promoting peace and stability in the region."

I would strongly encourage NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg to be very careful on this; any kind of real NATO status for Israel will translate into fighting its wars for it against every neighbor country it doesn't like; and that pretty much includes all of them!!

No-fly zone would ‘require war with Syria and Russia’ – top US general

Speaking to the US Senate, the Pentagon’s leaders blamed Russia for the Aleppo aid convoy attack, but admitted they “had no facts.” Only US coalition planes should be allowed over Syria, they said, though that would require war against both Syria and Russia.

Defense Secretary Ash Carter and General Joseph Dunford, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, faced the Senate Armed Services Committee on Thursday to report on the ongoing military operations and “national security challenges” faced by the US. They also asked the senators for more reliable funding, saying the uncertainty was hurting the defense industry.

HERE’S HOW CIA PUPPET MASTERS ARE DELIBERATELY PICKING A WORLD WAR III LEVEL FIGHT

It’s really quite embarrassing on a global scale when members of our own government seem to be deliberately trying to pick fights with people who aren’t interested in fighting with us. If you’ve traveled outside of the United States much, you probably know that we Americans have a rather negative reputation off of our own shores. Now, generally speaking, that isn’t our fault as individuals. You and I don’t create headlines that make waves throughout Europe and Asia.

While average Americans aren’t directly responsible for this, our federal officials are. I’ve written recently about President Obama doing things in Syria that are worsening the conflict there. I’ve also written about the fact that he and Russian President Vladimir Putin are starting to butt heads. And finally, I’ve warned time and time again that war is upon us – and everyone knows but the US.

Michael Morell is the director of the CIA. Here’s a little blurb from Wikipedia about him.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I think there are multiple reasons why the Obama Administration wants war against Russia in Syria.

First, as an attempted distraction from the lousy economy realities for many here in the United States.

There are over 94 million Americans who cannot find work, but are not counted in the US Labor Statistics because they "have been out of the work force for too long". That's a great trick by the Us Department of Labor, worthy of a magician; they've just made these people...disappear.

Secondly, if it appears that Trump is going to absolutely win the election by a landslide in November, this Administration would love to "gift" him with a war even before he has had the chance to take the Oath of Office.

I would like to soberly and politely remind this Administration of the epic fails their military misadventures have been so far; continuing to fail in Afghanistan and Iraq; continuing to fail in Libya, and continuing to fail in the US-militarily enabled Saudi war against Yemen.

And with all these failures, and no respite in sight, the Administration is spoiling for a war with Russia over Syria?!?

There is a classic definition of insanity, which amounts to doing the same thing over and over again, in precisely the same way, yet consistently expecting a different outcome.

And by this definition, the US government under President Obama's watch, has gone completely insane.

Such a war may not go well for the US government, because at this point, our military doesn't have the weaponry, the money, the troop strength, or the manufacturing to insure a positive outcome to such a war.

Additionally, such a war against Russia over Syria, in order to accomplish regime change in Syria, does not at all put this country on the moral, or right side of history.

And right now, I think that mandatory reading for every Governmental and military personnel pushing for such a war should be Sun Szu's "The Art of War."

Carefully.

Multiple times.

Defense Secretary Ash Carter and General Joseph Dunford, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, faced the Senate Armed Services Committee on Thursday to report on the ongoing military operations and “national security challenges”faced by the US. “Not only our people – our defense industry partners, too, need stability and longer-term plans to be as efficient and cutting-edge as we need them to be,” Carter told the senators.

Webmaster's Commentary:

A memo to Sec Def Carter and General Dunsford; if you don't have the facts about who bombed the aid convoy, making an assumption that "Russia or Syria did it" is a recklessly irresponsible allegation.

And besides, cui bono?!? Who benefits from such an act?!? Neither the Russians nor Syrians do.

And again, I would like to politely remind you that a US coalition Predator Drone was spotted shadowing the convoy before the attack happened; if there was no intent to harm, WHY?!?

US coalition Predator drone spotted at time & place of Syria aid convoy attack – Russian military

I would also like to politely point out to you that Russia was invited to get rid of ALL the jihadis working against the government of Damascus (including those funded and equipped by the US government, such as ISIS); the United States military has not at all been invited, thank you very much.

So, gentlemen, it appears that after 4 years of abject failure in getting the alleged "moderate rebels" to create regime change in Damascus, you are contemplating a war against both Russia and Syria to accomplish this.

I would like to strongly caution against such an action at this time, because the US military doesn't have the weaponry; the troop strength; the money, or the manufacturing to accomplish a positive outcome to a conventional war with Russia.

The way in which the weapons and aircraft contracts are awarded in this country is incestuous, because you have politicians who are, in large part, rewarded by generous campaign contributions by the weapons and aircraft makers who get the contracts.

And how this translates, when weapons and aircraft get into the field, is that they do not work at all as advertised; they are late enough as to be obsolete against other countries' weapons, and come with stiff cost overruns.

Need I remind you of the hideous problems with Lockheed Martin's F-35?!?

PENTAGON: F-35 WON’T HAVE A CHANCE IN REAL COMBAT

The F-35's Fatal Flaw: It Might Need to Win a Dogfight (But Can't)

F-35’s Latest Hurdle Could Send It Back To Contracting Purgatory

Gentlemen, first, the contracting process has to be fixed so that when the US government goes to war, it has the weapons, the money, the manufacturing, and the troop strength to insure victory in that endeavor; and right now, this is absolutely not the case.

And secondly, with any contemplated invasion of Syria to accomplish regime change, even if it involves war with Russia, the United States government is absolutely not on the right, or moral, side of history here.

And that means that the US government may well loose such a war, so I encourage you both to think long and hard before you commit to this; the aftermath may well be both globally devastating... and irreversible.

ATTACK ON AID CONVOY KILLS TWENTY, DESTROYS AID - AND OBLITERATES US WAR CRIMES?

“We have studied video footage from the scene from so-called ‘activists’ in detail and did not find any evidence that the convoy had been struck by ordnance”, commented Igor Konashenkov, a Ministry spokesman.

“There are no craters and the exterior of the vehicles do not have the kind of damage consistent with blasts caused by bombs dropped from the air.” His observations are hard to challenge, anyone who has studied the assaults of the “international community” on far away countries over the last decades knows what a bombed truck looks like - what fragments remains of it.

Photographs of the affected lorries show burned out vehicles, metal skeleton intact.

Konashenkov said that damage visible in footage was instead the result of cargo igniting - “oddly” occurring at the same time as militants (formerly Nusra Front) had started a big offensive in nearby Aleppo, backed by tanks, artillery and other heavy equipment.

Assad, who we used to get told was an inhumane monster who is hurting his people but whom we are told nothing about anymore, makes a good point. If the US accidentally attacked Syrian troops (for an hour), how did ISIS know the "accidental" attack was coming?

White House: Russia to Blame Even If They Didn’t Attack Aid Convoy

Yesterday’s apparently airstrikes against a UN aid convoy, destroying between 18-20 trucks and killing some 14 Red Crescent volunteers took multiple turns today, with the US claiming they believe that a pair of Russian warplanes attacked the convoy, potentially as “revenge” for the American attack on a Syrian military base the day before, which killed 83 soldiers.

The Russians are denying this, of course, but perhaps the even more unusual angle is that White House officials have subsequently come forward to insist that the US holds Russia responsible for what happened to the convoy, even if they didn’t actually do it.

Obama aide Ben Rhodes argued that because Russia had made a commitment to the ceasefire and to getting aid flowing in northern Syria, it was obviously their fault that something happened to the convoy, no matter what that actually was.

Webmaster's Commentary:

OK, it's official: both Ben Rhodes and this administration have collectively lost their reality licenses, with this breathtakingly stupid statement!!

Did the US NOT make a commitment to the cease fire, which they destroyed by Saturday's bombing of Syrian military personnel?!?

And why on earth did the US government feel it necessary to keep the terms of the agreement with the Russians secret?!?

And besides, cui bono?!?

Who benefited from the bombing of the aid convoy?!?

NOT Russia, for heaven's sake; and not Syria, certainly.

But the US accusations have absolutely no where to go; Russia has meticulously documented where its personnel and equipment were at the time the convoy got bombed, and it was no where even close to where the convoy got bombed.

When Russia Called to Get US to Stop Syria Strike, US Official Wasn’t There

Weekend US airstrikes against a Syrian army base in Deir Ezzor, a protracted error which killed 83 Syrian soldiers and opened up the base for ISIS to overrun it, carried on longer than it should have, because when Russia made the call to warn the Americans, the guy who was supposed to answer it wasn’t there.

The Russian military called and asked to speak to this “point of contact” official at the coordinating center which is running the US-led bombing campaigns in Syria, and were told he wasn’t available. The Russians called back again and finally got somebody who understood that the US was bombing the wrong target.

The Pentagon dismissed concern about the lapse, saying the contact “wasn’t expecting a call” and therefore didn’t feel obliged to sit next to the phone. Yet as intense US airstrikes were ongoing, in the middle of a US-Russia negotiated ceasefire, it seems like it wasn’t a total shock that a call ended up made.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Translation: the deliberate absence of the US contact made sure that the bombing could last just long enough to coordinate with ISIS as they rushed in to overtake the area.

Deep State America

On September 9th the Washington Post featured a front page article describing how the Defense Department had used warplanes to attack targets and kill suspected militants in six countries over the Labor Day weekend. The article was celebratory, citing Pentagon officials who boasted of the ability to engage “multiple targets” anywhere in the world in what has become a “permanent war.” The article did not mention that the United States is not currently at war with any of the six target countries and made no attempt to make a case that the men and women who were killed actually threatened the U.S. or American citizens.

Twenty-six Things About the Islamic State (ISIS-ISIL-Daesh) that Obama Does Not Want You to Know About

Recent developments confirm what is known and documented: Washington is behind the Islamic State (ISIS-ISIL-Daesh) and at the same time it is behind the moderate Al Qaeda terrorists, which the Obama administration is supporting as part of America’s alleged campaign against the Islamic State (ISIS). And they expect us to believe that they are committed to waging a campaign against terrorists.

Obama is protecting both Al Qaeda and ISIS-ISIL-Daesh.

The US Airforce is acting on behalf of the terrorists.

Obama is Protecting the Terrorists, America to the Rescue of ISIS-ISIL-Daesh. Testimonies of Syrian Soldiers Who Witnessed the US Airstrikes

These testimonies by Syrian soldiers who are fighting the Islamic State rebels (ISIS-Daesh) confirm what we already know.

The United States of America is not fighting the terrorists in Syria.

The Obama administration, with the support of its allies including Turkey and Saudi Arabia, is supporting the Islamic State (ISIS Daesh)

Obama’s counterterrorism campaign in Syria and Iraq is bogus.

Read carefully:

The testimonies confirm the unspoken truth:

OBAMA IS PROTECTING THE TERRORISTS

- We [Syrian soldiers] first thought the aircraft are support to us after the first 2 shots, but we quickly found out that they are targeting our forces aggressively, while we were fighting IS terrorists. The aircraft used cluster bombs against us.

- A day before the airstrikes, the [US] drones were flying and scanning all the area

- The US air-strikes destroyed all our equipment and defense points.

Webmaster's Commentary:

At this particular moment in time, although I love my country, I am not terribly proud to be an American, understanding full well the depth of carnage my government has created in the processes of attempting regime changes, invasions and occupations to expropriate resources to which it has no moral right, and partnering (as they have with Saudi Arabia) in war crimes.

Pentagon 'Succeeded in Ruining' Lavrov-Kerry Deal on Syria

The fragile ceasefire deal hammered out by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov and US Secretary of State John Kerry earlier this month has been hanging in the balance, with the main threat coming from the Pentagon, Fyodor Lukyanov, editor-in-chief of Russia in Global Affairs, told newspaper Vzglyad.

Webmaster's Commentary:

IF, in fact, the Pentagon is "at war" with the White House over Syria, this country, this government, and the world are in a very perilous state of affairs.

But I have to wonder; was this suggestion that the Pentagon caused this to happen created to offer Obama "plausible deniability" for the strike?!?

Because, if not, and if Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Joseph Dunford, and US Sec-Def Ash Carter signed off on this without Presidential authority, they both need to be handed their hats, and immediately!!

DECLASSIFIED FBI DOCS CONFIRM: AMERICANS — NOT FOREIGNERS — ORCHESTRATED TERRORISM POST 9/11

In a not-so-shocking revelation, largely unreported by the mainstream media, newly declassified Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) documents have confirmed that “a broadening U.S. military presence overseas and outreach by Islamist ideologues” was behind an 11% increase in plotted terror attacks against the United States since 2006 — and those terror attacks were orchestrated by Americans, not foreign nationals.

According to an Intelligence Assessment of 57 terrorist plots against the United States and U.S. interests between 2001 and 2010 — carried out in 2011 by the Los Angeles Division of the FBI and the Joint Regional Intelligence Center (JRIC) — “foreign nationals led anti-US targeting prior to 2006 plotting 52% of all terror attacks,” but sociologically- and religiously-diverse American nationals [read homegrown terrorists with no identifiable religious affiliation] plotted 70% of the terror attacks on their own land, beginning 2007.

The report states:

Webmaster's Commentary:

Americans are beginning to understand that the terror and slaughter which the US government consistently visits upon innocent countries overseas, to control resources to which this country has no moral right, and insure those resources are only sold in American dollars, can, and will, come back to haunt this country.

Simply put, ultimately, the US government which is inflicting this devastation abroad, again for control of resources, is thoroughly, and completely, impotent to actually stop the carnage here at home, when blowback comes against Americans.

And unfortunately, unless and until the US government is operating under an ethos of justice and moral responsibility, I fear that incidents like we saw in New York and New Jersey last weekend will continue to repeat, perhaps with an even more intense degree of savagery.

Welcome to your "new normal", America.

There is a Biblical injunction: "That which you sow, you shall also reap"; and in the Middle East and beyond, this country has been reaping the whirlwind of the death and destruction all over this planet for quite some time now.

There are consequences for that, and for having allowed our government to become the "assassination nation", and rogue killer on this planet, all in the name of private corporate profits.

I think Karl Marx was absolutely correct when he said, "All wars are economic"; so if we want to absolutely eliminate, to the highest possible degree, the threat of terrorism against the US and US assets, the fastest way to accomplish that is by stopping mucking about in other people's countries, to expropriate resources to which we have absolutely no moral right.

Please remember: We, the American People, stopped the war in Vietnam through peaceful consistent protest: we need to again bear witness to the wrongs the US government is doing, and make our voices heard, peacefully, once again, to demand a stake in the outcome of US foreign policy; because right now, American foreign policy is, potentially, killing us, from the blowback against what this foreign policy has created in places like Afghanistan; Libya; Somalia; Yemen; and Iraq.

Please, take a good look at these images: this is what has been done, and is being done, with your taxes, and in your name:

Apologizing To My Daughter For The Last 15 Years Of War

Let’s start with the basics. In an era when the U.S. seemed to have no great power rivals on the horizon, its national security state was expanded to monstrous proportions and given the “right” to commit acts ranging from kidnapping to torture, surveillance of its citizenry to assassination, based on the horrific events of a single day and on a single danger: the slaughter of September 11th and the threat of terrorism. In those years, before Donald Trump even began stirring the pot, Americans were already consumed by fears of a danger that, in the United States at least, couldn’t have been more minor.

U.S. Allies 'Volunteer' To Share (Implausible) Blame For Deir Ezzor Attack

The Syrian government now says some 82 soldiers were killed in the attack which also destroyed 3 T-72 tanks, 3 infantry fighting vehicles, an anti-aircraft gun and at least 4 mortars. Following the attack the Islamic State troops stormed the Syrian government position on the Jabal Thardeh hill. They are now able to harass the airport of Deir Ezzor, the only supply line for the ISIS besieged city and the 150,000+ civilians living there under government protection. We note that this was not the first U.S. attack on Syrian government forces in Deir Ezzor. Back in December 3 Syrian soldiers were killed in an air raid. In June a U.S. air attack on Manbij killed some 100 civilians. No U.S. attack on any ISIS target in Syria ever came near such casualty numbers.

Shells and bombs rained down on rebel-held eastern Aleppo on Monday soon after Syria's army declared an end to a week-long ceasefire agreed between Russia and the United States.

Damascus and its ally Moscow blamed rebels for the collapse of the truce, but Washington said the terms had not been met for a key aspect of the deal - US-Russia cooperation against militants.

US Desperately Pumps "Humanitarian" Smokescreen For Failing Syria Ceasefire

Washington’s lie about seeking a genuine ceasefire in Syria is in danger of being exposed for the world to see. So, hilariously, a charade is being hurriedly orchestrated in order to hide this ignominy. As usual, the Syrian government is being scapegoated for the real cause of violence in the country. That real cause is Washington’s state-sponsored terrorist-fueled war for regime change.

After four days of continuing deadly breaches by US-backed «rebels» since the Kerry-Lavrov ceasefire deal was implemented last Monday, Washington and the dutiful Western mainstream media are preparing the inevitable excuses.

Rather than focusing on ongoing «rebel» violence in contravention of the truce, US Secretary of State John Kerry fingered the Syrian government for preventing humanitarian access to insurgent-held eastern Aleppo as the reason for why the ceasefire is in danger of collapsing.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Wounded animals are dangerous.

And right now, the Clinton Cartel and their minions are feeling ...desperately wounded, by what might appear to some as a resounding, potential presidential triumph by Donald Trump.

Unfortunately, the closer it appears that Trump will win this election handily, the closer we are to a potential war against Russia, China, and Korea, as "payback" to Trump, even before he has had the opportunity to take the Oath of Office in January.

Democratic operatives will be ruthless in setting up Trump to fail, even if it means starting shooting wars with Russia, China, and Korea.

India blames Pakistan as Kashmir attack kills 17 soldiers

India accused Pakistan of being behind Sunday's separatist attack on an army base near their disputed frontier that killed 17 soldiers, in one of the most deadly attacks in Kashmir in a quarter-century-old insurgency.

Four commando-style gunmen, armed with AK-47 assault rifles and grenades, burst into the brigade headquarters in Uri at 5:30 a.m. (midnight GMT) and were killed after a three-hour gunfight, a senior Indian army officer said.

The incident sharply increased tensions between the bitter, nuclear-armed rivals and will raise fears of a potential military escalation. Indian and Pakistani troops are in close proximity in many places along one of the world's most heavily militarised frontiers, and exchanges of fire are not uncommon.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I would strongly encourage Prime Minister Modi to do the only moral, and reasonable thing possible to stop this horrific fighting; offer the Kashmiris a referendum, long promised, but never delivered, which will give Kashmiris the choice between staying as part of India; becoming independent; or joining Pakistan.

Because, until that has been accomplished, nothing will be resolved for the Kashmiri people, and - unfortunately - the violence will most likely continue.

More US Troops Arrive at Iraqi Airbase South of Mosul

Reports out of the area around Qayara say that hundreds of additional US ground troops have arrived at the Qayara Air Base, to join several hundred troops already there. The troops are expected to provide “logistic support” for the Mosul invasion.

Iraqi troops “captured” the Qayara Air Base to much fanfare last month, and intend to use this as a base of operation in the attack on Mosul. The base had long since been abandoned by ISIS, stripped clean by ISIS forces that have controlled the area for the past two years.

A lot of effort is being pumped into repair the air base, which was rendered largely useless by heavy US airstrikes in recent years, and a new bridge to allow forces to cross the river and advance against the area south of Mosul.

Though the Pentagon has long warned that it is unlikely the Iraqi military is really ready to take the enormous city of Mosul, US officials have suggested that the invasion could begin as soon as October

Webmaster's Commentary:

Is the attempted taking of Mosul from the jihadists in Iraq Obama's "October Surprise", in attempting to give a boost to Clinton's sagging and fatigued presidential campaign?!?

But what happens if the military campaign fails utterly to retake the city?!?

Timing & other aspects of US strike on Syrian army suggest intentional provocation – Churkin

The US’ sudden attempt to “help” the Syrian army fighting ISIS in the eastern city of Deir ez-Zor, which resulted in a strike that killed and injured dozens of soldiers, does not look like an honest mistake, Russia’s UN envoy told journalists at the UNSC meeting.
“It is highly suspicious that the United States chose to conduct this particular air strike at this time,” Russia’s ambassador Vitaly Churkin said.

Churkin questioned why the US suddenly chose to “help” the Syrian army defend Deir ez-Zor after all these years, recalling how American forces just observed terrorists’ movements and did “nothing when ISIS advanced on Palmyra.”

“It was quite significant and not accidental that it happened just two days before the Russian-American arrangements were supposed to come into full force,” Churkin added.

Declaration? War Powers Act? AUMF? Or just AMOK?

The 2001 AUMF has been the legal justification for not just the American-led war against the Taliban in Afghanistan, but also for drone strikes in Pakistan against Al Qaeda, missile launches in Yemen, and the September 2014 attack in Somalia targeting the leader of terrorist group al-Shabaab.

But the AUMF specifically left unchanged the requirement of the War Powers Act, a clause which mostly means the 60-day time limit.

Leap ahead to Libya: Secretary of State Hillary R. Clinton testified to Congress that Congressional authorization was not needed for the military intervention in Libya, and later, when the War Powers Resolution’s 60-day limit was exceeded, President Obama himself notified Congress that it did not apply because the leadership of the operations in Libya were in the hands of NATO. (Not us, just our sock puppet.) Another bit of pro-war wiggle room is that the War Powers Act never defined "hostilities."

Little doubt that many of the more imaginative conspiracy theories were created for the purpose of stigmatizing any skepticism, no matter how well reasoned and supported, of the official story.

These groups of qualified and experienced people say that the official story of 9/11 is false.

FBI grilled over handling of Clinton investigation

As lawmakers continued to probe Hillary Clinton’s private email use, the aide who set up the service declined to appear before the House committee. FBI officials had to be given a summons to produce documents on the investigation.

On Tuesday, the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee summoned contractors and former State Department officials who set up and maintained Clinton’s email servers and mobile devices. However, the key Clinton aide, Bryan Pagliano, did not show up for the hearing, pleading Fifth Amendment protections against self-incrimination.

The afternoon before, the committee dressed down FBI’s Acting Assistant Director for Congressional Affairs Jason Herring, who was at pains to explain his absence from a major meeting last week and the bureau’s reluctance to hand over unredacted investigation documents.

Rift Appears Between US DoS and Pentagon Over Syrian Deal With Russia

Tensions are simmering in Washington regarding the deal struck by US Secretary of State Kerry and Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov over Syria. There appears to be a rift within the Obama administration with the "party of war" opposing the idea of US-Russian cooperation.

With Hillary as President 'We are Looking at Nuclear War With Russia or China'

James George Jatras also explained the rationale behind the harsh comments about Trump from the Democratic camp and the overall attitude towards the Republican nominee.

Hillary is the candidate of the "deep state", of the oligarchy, he said. In effect. the way the script was supposed to run was that the corresponding co-candidate should have been Jeb Bush so that "we have "Tweedledee – Tweedledum" choices like we usually get."

He also pointed out one reason why people are really concerned about Hillary's political and physical viability and might not want to see her go is that they realize there will be "blood bath in the Democratic party while deciding who succeeds her."

Terrifying, but quite true.

Russia Says UN Meeting Cancelled Over US Objections

A hastily scheduled Security Council meeting was canceled because the U.S. does not want to make public details of the Syrian cease-fire deal, Russia's ambassador to the United Nations said Friday.

Vitaly Churkin said there was no point in briefing the council if the U.S. did not want to say exactly what was in the documents outlining the deal hammered out last week by U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry and Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.

"This briefing is not going to happen and mostly likely we're not going to have a resolution of the Security Council because the United States does not want to share those documents with the members of the Security Council and we believe that we cannot ask them to support a document which they haven't seen," Churkin said.

ISRAËL VIOLATES THE CEASE-FIRE IN SYRIA AND LOSES TWO PLANES

On 13 September 2016, at 1 a.m., although the cease-fire had just come into force, the Israëli aviation attempted to destroy a combat position in the South of Syria and certain military installations near Damascus.

The Syrian Arab Army fired at and hit the planes with new generation missiles. One of the planes crashed in jihadist-held territory, the other managed to land in Israël.

Tsahal at first denied the two incidents, then recognised having violated Syrian air space and admitted that Syria had fired on their planes.

The available information does not enable us to know exactly what the Israêli planes were (F-15, F-16, or F-35), nor if the missiles were fired by Hezbollah or by the Syrian Arab Army, nor what type of missiles they were or who built them.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Apparently, whatever weapons which were fired at the Israeli fighters were able to target them with a very certain degree of precision; something upon which the IDF had not counted, in ordering the strike into sovereign Syrian territory.

State Department and Establishment Media Silent on Israel’s 200 Nukes

After DCLeak posted a tranche of Powell emails hacked from the former secretary of state’s personal Gmail account, RT’s Caleb Maupin asked the State Department for comment on Powell's mention of Israel’s nukes. He was ignored. Meanwhile, the story has been virtually ignored by the media. Deadly Dust - Depleted Uranium (Frieder Wagner 2007)

German documentary film with english subtitles produced by Mr. Frieder Wagner (original name is "Todesstaub"). The film is about war crimes in the former Yugoslavia, particularly in Bosnia, Serbia and Kosovo and Iraq. The use of depleted uranium is made genocide of those countries that is not remembered in the history of mankind, even the Nazi crimes remained low compared to the genocide, which is still ongoing and will last almost forever, unfortunately. In contaminated areas people are still at risk of a lot of people do not know and this is the worst because it is invisible genocide.

Top diplomats from U.S., Japan, South Korea to meet on North Korea

U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry will meet with his Japanese and South Korean counterparts in New York on Sunday to discuss responses to North Korea's latest nuclear test, South Korea's foreign ministry said on Wednesday.

The three countries are pushing for tough new U.N. Security Council sanctions on North Korea after the isolated country on Friday conducted its fifth and largest nuclear test.

The blast was in defiance of U.N. sanctions that were tightened in March.

China, the North's chief ally, backed the March resolution but is more resistant to harsh new sanctions this time after the United States and South Korea decided to deploy a sophisticated anti-missile system in the South, which China adamantly opposes.

South Korea said Foreign Minister Yun Byung-se and his counterparts Kerry and Japanese Foreign Minister Fumio Kishida will meet during the annual U.N. General Assembly to discuss putting further pressure on North Korea.

Webmaster's Commentary:

A memo to Secretary of State Kerry, South Korean Foreign Minster Byung-se, and Japanese Foreign Minister Kishida: the one thing you all CAN do is invite both North Korea and China to a Peace Conference, to replaced the Armistice which has existed over 60 years, with a real peace deal, including North Korea's cessation of expanding their nuclear capability.

Then, negotiate in good faith to get it done, and make it happen.

Of course, that....would be logical.

But I do have a caveat for the Foreign Ministers of both Japan and South Korea; the US government may well not be amenable to such a solution, and let me share with you why.

As you have noticed, the American Presidential Election cycle has just heated up as though it were on industrial strength steroids.

IF internal polls at the White House and the Democratic National Committee indicate that Donald Trump may well win our Presidential election in a landslide in November, they may very well want to "gift" him with a war (any war will do, but with the US public sentiment not warm toward Kim Jong Un, it's a good starting place, in their minds) before he has the opportunity to take the Oath of Office.

Yes, I know this may sound crazy; however, logic and prudence, and care for the real concerns of the American people, haven't been around for quite some time in American governance, resulting in:

Massive poverty:

Tent Cities Full Of Homeless People Are Booming In Cities All Over America As Poverty Spikes

U.S. troops staying in Afghanistan? New look at reduction plan

Endless corruption is leaving Iraq a failed state

Libya: From Africa’s Richest State Under Gaddafi, to Failed State After NATO Intervention

"What A Mess!" - Pentagon At War With CIA In Syria

And of course, an absolutely unpayable National Debt:

U.S. NATIONAL DEBT CLOCK

Coupled with a monumental trade imbalance:

US current account trade deficit narrows to $119.9 billion

A logical, responsible government, at this point, would be trying to fix the fundamentals of an economy gone wrong, and evaluate why the US's military interventions have been such blatant failures; but this will not happen because more military interventions will fatten the coffers of the 1 percenters, heavily invested in the military industrial complex, and campaign donations to Congressional representatives who deliver what they want, in terms of national and international policies.

Additionally, those in the bowels of power in DC believe that another war may distract many Americans from the grinding poverty to which they have been condemned through the offshoring/outsourcing of the jobs which used to underpin the American middle class.

South Korean Foreign Minster Byung-se, and Japanese Foreign Minister Kishida, I encourage you both to have conversations with your counterparts in the Chinese government, and see how far they are willing to go to reach a consensus about inviting North Korea for a peace conference. The way President Obama threatened China about their activities in the South China Sea at the G20, you may have a rough road here, but please counsel patience; Obama will be out of the White House in January of next year.

I frankly think that such a move, toward a legitimate peace conference with North Korea, will be the only way to stop a US war against North Korea, and ultimately, China.

Now the Saudis Have Killer Drones, Too

Saudi Arabia is the world’s newest drone power. And that could be a problem, since the Saudis are in the midst of a rather nasty war.
Riyadh has signed a contract with Chinese firm Chengdu for an unspecified number of Pterodactyl drones, Saudi media reported in late August and early September.

The 30-foot-long, propeller-driven Pterodactyl, which Chengdu apparently modeled on America’s iconic Predator and Reaper drones, can fly for hours at a time carrying cameras and missiles. Operators on the ground control the unmanned aerial vehicle via satellite.

As far as killer drones go, the Pterodactyl probably isn’t terribly sophisticated—its sensors are certainly less capable than U.S.-made models—and that can mean the difference between life and death for innocent people caught in the crossfire as flying robots hunt militants on the ground.

Webmaster's Commentary:

These are going to kill hundreds to thousands more innocent Yemenites.

But hey, when it comes to weapons manufacturers, their products, and profits, to paraphrase Gertrude Stein, "A deal is a deal is a deal!!"

Hillary Deflates? A Setback For War

As libertarian (former) Congressman Ron Paul pointed out recently (here), the “deep state” elects whom it wants and it seems to have wanted Hillary Clinton.

And even after Hillary’s most recent collapse, articles are appearing in the mainstream media (see above excerpt) pointing out that Hillary is better than the alternative.

This is no coincidence. The mainstream media is owned by a relatively few people and they are surely supported by others, hidden influencers for the so-called deep state. And it is this deep state that requires, if possible, the services of Hillary Clinton.

The question is why?

Our Post-September 11 Fifteen Years’ War

On the morning of September 11, 2001, al-Qaeda launched its four-plane air force against the United States. On board were its precision weapons: 19 suicidal hijackers. One of those planes, thanks to the resistance of its passengers, crashed in a Pennsylvania field. The other three hit their targets — the two towers of the World Trade Center in New York City and the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. — with the kind of “precision” we now associate with the laser-guided weaponry of the U.S. Air Force.

No looking back: the CIA torture report's aftermath

“I want to be absolutely clear with our people and the world. The United States does not torture,” said George W Bush on 6 September 2006.

Bush was, for the first time, acknowledging the existence of the program that Senate intelligence committee staff investigator Daniel Jones would later expose as taking power drills to the heads of captured men; making them stand with their arms stretched above their heads for days at a time; leaving at least one of them naked until he froze to death; waterboarding them to the point of catatonia as bubbles rose from their open mouths; and inserting pureed food into their rectums while claiming it was necessary for delivering nutrients.

Details of those procedures were outlined in the 525 pages which CIA director John Brennan, Barack Obama and White House chief of staff Denis McDonough allowed to become public.

Webmaster's Commentary:

When the US government tortures, or outsources torture, two things happen:

People around the world understand that everything this government says about human rights and human dignity are simply bald-faced lies, only to be observed in the breach by the torture it commits or outsources, and:

When the US government tortures, it gives carte blanche to other countries which do not like us so well to torture American civilians and military personnel.

And as to that codswallop about torture producing valuable intelligence; torture only gets the tortured person to say what they think their captors want them to say to get the torture to stop, period, end of discussion.

One of the most effective interrogators during World War II was German Interrogator Hans Scharff, and he only used kindness and conversation to get what he wanted.

The Friendliest Interrogator Of World War II Was A German

Torture is morally evil; those who sign off on the use of torture (and yes, I am speaking of that unholy trinity of Bush, Rumsfeld, and Cheney), and those who torture, are mentally ill; there can be no other reasonable explanation, when such practices are both unnecessary, and extremely counterproductive

Post-9/11 Wars Have Cost Nearly $5 Trillion (and Counting): Report

By Nadia Prupis

The U.S. military interventions in Iraq and Afghanistan have cost taxpayers nearly $5 trillion and counting, according to a new report released to coincide with the 15th anniversary of the attacks.

Dr. Neta Crawford, professor of political science at Brown University, released the figures in an independent analysis of U.S. Departments of Defense, State, Homeland Security, and Veteran Affairs spending, as well as their base and projected future spending. Crawford is also a director at Brown’s Costs of War Project, which works to draw attention to the human, economic, and political toll of the military response to 9/11.

In total, the wars already boast a price tag of $4.79 trillion, she found. And the cost is still climbing...

US Citizens Can’t Sue Saudis for Perpetrating 9/11, but Can Sue Iranians Who Had Nothing to Do With It: Obama

the House and Senate have unanimously passed an act that could make it possible for US 9/11 victims to sue Saudis for their complicity in perpetrating the 9/11 attack.

Bush and Obama censored for more than a decade the evidence of Saudi involvement while they invaded Iraq, killing at least hundreds of thousands of people.

Obama is now reasserting his intention to veto the act, but, as Jason Ditz reports, will still allow “9/11 victims to sue Iran, even though Iran had nothing to do with the attack”.

Ditz continues that this is in keeping with the standard US practice of “protecting its allies [and itself] from lawsuits while setting up suits against international rivals”. (The US has been attempting to reconquer Iran since 1979 when the US’s Iranian proxy-dictator, whom Amnesty International called one of the world’s worst human rights violators, was overthrown.)

Webmaster's Commentary:

OK, folks: this is American foreign policy ON DRUGS!!

And the reason Obama is going to veto the bill about Americans being able to sue Saudi Arabia is purely economic; as reported at cnn.com on 16 May, 2016:

Revealed: Saudi Arabia owns $117 billion of U.S. debt

Were Saudi Arabia to dump their holdings all at once, it would send the US economy crashing, perhaps irrecoverably, instantaneously.

China calls Washington ‘cause & crux’ of N. Korean nuclear issue as US flies bombers over peninsula

Beijing has blamed Washington for exacerbating the “vicious circle” of tensions on the Korean Peninsula after the US pinned the responsibility for Pyongyang’s nuclear test last week on China’s alleged lack of effort to resolve the North Korean nuclear crisis.

On Friday North Korea made headlines after conducting its fifth nuclear test. The 10 kiloton explosion set off an artificial earthquake and an avalanche of international responses condemning the test.

While Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov called for a more “creative” response to the situation rather than issuing endless rounds of sanctions, US Defense Secretary Ashton Carter over the weekend blamed China for its failure to curb the North Korean threat.

Webmaster's Commentary:

A memo to Ash Carter: what the US government keeps doing is exacerbating tensions in the region, to "egg" Kim Jong Un to more heights of brinkmanship.

And Lavrov is absolutely correct when he suggests ".. a more creative response to the situation."

And Sec Def Carter, what about a 4 way meeting with delegates from the US, North and South Korea, and China to hammer out a peace treaty, with which to replace the armistice, which is simply a cessation of fighting, under which North and South Korea have been living, since the 50s?!?

If there would be a way to guarantee that North Korea could be dissuaded from further developing its nuclear capabilities, that would be a peace treaty with guarantees about trade, and cessation of sanctions against it.

Or, sir, are you ruling it out, because it is....the most logical answer to the problem, and doesn't offer a pretext for a "back door" war against China?!?

The following was reported at sputniknews.com today:

US Nuclear Capable bombers Fly over South Korea to Warn Pyongyang

Sec Def Carter, I can assure you; this is not going to help ratchet down tensions here in the least.

In fact, this is the kind of provocation which is going to push North Korea toward more nuclear testing, which the US government - and China - appear, collectively impotent to stop.

BOMBED: A POTATO CHIP FACTORY, A SCHOOL, A DOCTORS WITHOUT BORDERS FACILITY, AND NOW A WATER WELL

Strikes in northern Yemen on Saturday reportedly killed two children and first responders as US-backed coalition continues ‘disturbing’ strikes.

A United Nations official has condemned airstrikes, including a “double tap” attack, on a water well in Yemen that killed dozens of people including children. The statement comes as the Obama administration’s proposed $1.15 billion arms to Saudi Arabia, who’s leading the U.S.-backed coalition’s bombing campaign against the Houthi rebels in Yemen, faces opposition both on and off Capitol Hill.

In a statement released Monday, U.N. humanitarian coordinator for Yemen Jamie McGoldrick said that 30 people were killed and 17 were wounded, with the casualties including first responders and two children, as a result of the airstrikes in the village of Beit Saadan in northern Yemen.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The US-militarily enabled Saudi military love to commit war crimes with impunity.

The fact that US companies sell them the weapons to do this makes the US government a partner in these war crimes.

Did you ever imagine that a plaque could honestly be placed on the US President's desk, stating: "The United States of America: a Proud Partner in War Crimes?!?"

Results are in: US troops in Syria are defenseless vs. Russian tanks

According to a recently published report by the US Congress’ research services, at least 8 different anti-tank missiles are in use on the battlefield in Syria. The most dangerous of them are those of Russian origin. This observation by analysts’ is especially relevant for American military advisers and instructors in Syria. In effect, it means that the US Army is in need of a modernized tank defense system. As the newspaper notes, the Abrams tank, for example, lacks a dynamic protection system.

What’s more, it’s difficult enough to equip US infantry and Marines with active defense weapons, Business Insider adds. Even if the Americans decided to purchase and adopt battle-tested Israeli Trophy systems, this would not solve the problem.
