'Snarky' Stanford Impeachment Witness Apologizes After Outrage Over Barron Trump Comment

Update: Stanford University Professor Pamela Karlan apologized on Wednesday after receiving sharp rebuke for mentioning President Trump's 13-year-old son, Barron Trump.

No apology from an angry partisan would be complete, however, without a new attack in the same breath...

"I want to apologize for what I said earlier about the president's son. It was wrong of me to do that. I wish the president would apologize, obviously, for the things that he's done that's wrong, but I do regret having said that," she said.

Webmaster's Commentary:

IF you are smart, in the game of geopolitics, you never go after a "political assassination target's" kid; that is sheer Kryptonite for anything possibly pertinent to the case at hand you have to say after making that kind of a gaffe.

The professors who have been chosen to testify in this "kangaroo court", all have one thing in common; and that is, a collective absolute, snarling, loathing of President Trump, and everything he stands for; legal immigration; the rule of law; and the steadfastness in his conviction that the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, are truly the still standing, and original, Contract with America.

And hey, Dr. Karlan; if you ever get out this way, to a legal symposium here in Indiana, please stop by for tea.

I would love to meet you, and explain to you why, during 2016, I found myself more supportive of Trump than Hillary Clinton.

You will find me friendly, an equity feminist, reasonably well-educated, a church-goer, and an essentially a very gentle soul, who does not belch fire when speaking lucidly, and logically, about why I made my choice to support Trump over Clinton.

Perhaps such dialogue will prove elucidating for you, if you would dare to try it. :-)
