"'Congress shall make no law respecting an institution of religion.' -- The First Amendment to the Constitution

A Nativity scene (or a Menorah for that matter) is not a law, it is a decoration. And on that basis, even though I myself am an atheist, I do not have a problem with Nativity scenes on government property, other than they are a reminder that those are the people we are bombing to steal their oil.

I do draw the line at the Ten Commandments being on display on government buildings with its prohibitions against lying, theft, and killing, as that clearly is a case of false advertising!" -- Michael Rivero

Here's Why Patriot Missiles Weren't Protecting US Troops In Iraq And Why They Still Aren't

U.S. Secretary of Defense Mark Esper and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff U.S. Army General Mark Milley explained the situation in response to a question from Fox News' Jennifer Griffin at a press conference on Jan. 30, 2020. There were reports last week that the U.S. military was considering deploying Patriot systems to Iraq. There has been increasing attention in the press and among the general public on the issue of American air and missile defenses in the country after it emerged that there were no such assets in place when Iran fired a flurry of ballistic missiles at U.S. forces at Al Asad, as well as Erbil International Airport, on Jan. 7. Those strikes had been in retaliation for the U.S. decision to kill Qasem Soleimani, then the head of Iran's Quds Force, on Jan. 3.

How Jewish American pedophiles hide from justice in Israel

Tel Aviv — It's a tense stakeout, waiting for Jimmy Julius Karow to appear. He is a wanted man and is considered dangerous. Accused of sexually assaulting a 9-year-old girl in Oregon in 2000, he fled to Israel before authorities in the U.S. could apprehend him or figure out where he went. Karow has been running from U.S. law enforcement ever since. Currently INTERPOL, an inter-governmental policing organization that works with 194 countries, has a Red Notice to alert police worldwide that he's a fugitive.

Two years after he fled the U.S., Karow was convicted by an Israeli court of child molestation in a separate case. He served time and was released. Now another alleged Israeli victim has come forward, saying he began abusing her when she was 5-years-old, and continued for years.

Karow has successfully evaded authorities by moving between communities in Israel for almost two decades, and he is not alone.

Toggle navigationSYRIA - TURKEY'S BLUFF IS CALLED - MEDIA OPPOSITION SOURCES RUN BY BRITISH INTELLIGENCE

SOURCE: MOON OF ALABAMA

Russia has called Turkey's bluff of a wide ranging attack on Syrian government forces. The Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan will now have to find a way out of the Idleb trap he set himself in. His excellent Syria adventure is coming to an end.

Meanwhile we learn that the British military intelligence ran another large dis-information campaign that brought 'Syrian voices' into the 'western' press.

Erdogan continues with his wild rhetoric over Syria.

#ERDOGAN: "#Turkey cannot be confined within the 780,000 km2 border. #Misrata, #Aleppo, #Homs & #Hasaka are outside our actual borders, but they are within our emotional & physical limits, we will confront those who limit our history to only 90yrs."
The Turkish talks with Russia have not gone well. Russia had proposed the following points:

1- 16-km border strip in Idlib under Turkey control
2- Russia controls crossing between Idlib strip and Afrin

Webmaster's Commentary:

Edrogan's brain is writing checks his military are singularly unable to cash, and his military and political friends back home, had better do some creative heads-up, thinking back in Ankara over this weekend.

I do not know if Turkish law has a legislative equivalent to the US Bill of Rights' 25th Amendment, or if snap elections are allowed, but the rest of the Turkish government, and his military, needs to do something to cage the "Erdo-Madness" here, and right the flip now; otherwise, Russia is going make it difficult for Turkey to be able to do anything on the International stage, and that should give both Turkish political and military leaders an industrial-strength pause for thought right now.

NETANYAHU “OPTIMISTIC” ISRAEL CAN USE POLITICAL PRESSURE TO SHUT DOWN ICC WAR CRIMES PROBE

SOURCE: MINT PRESS
TEL AVIV — Since the International Criminal Court (ICC) announced it would investigate war crimes committed by Israel in the Gaza Strip and occupied West Bank last December, Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has been attempting to rally Israel’s allies in a multilateral effort to stop the ICC’s probe.

Those efforts have now left Netanyahu “optimistic,” with the embattled Prime Minister reportedly telling members of his cabinet that Israel’s efforts to lobby other countries against the ICC case is paying off, according to a recent report published by Reuters. “We are struggling against this [proceeding] and, at our side, I must say, are many friends around the world [which] joined the U.S. in a steadfast stand alongside Israel,” Reuters quoted Netanyahu as saying.

Webmaster's Commentary:

IF Israel has utterly nothing to hide, in terms of its treatment of Palestinians, why, then is it so terrified of this ICC probe?!?

Is it possible (gasp) that there is some kind of "smoking gun" in the evidence the ICC has garnered, which is going to really make Israel look bad and rotten, should it come to light in the legal process of discovery?!?

The short answer has to be, "HELL, yes!!!", for Netanyahu to be taking such extraordinary steps to shut this investigation down.

CBS NEWS: 'HOW JEWISH AMERICAN PEDOPHILES HIDE FROM JUSTICE IN ISRAEL'

SOURCE: CHRIS MENAHAN, INFORMATION LIBERATION

Jewish American pedophiles are escaping justice by fleeing to Israel and automatically attaining Israeli citizenship under their right of return laws, CBS News reports.

Tel Aviv - It's a tense stakeout, waiting for Jimmy Julius Karow to appear. He is a wanted man and is considered dangerous. Accused of sexually assaulting a 9-year-old girl in Oregon in 2000, he fled to Israel before authorities in the U.S. could apprehend him or figure out where he went. Webmaster's Commentary:

No responsible Jew, no matter the "flavor" of their Judaism (or atheist) in Israel wants to see this happen, particularly when it comes to the sexual exploitation of children.

It would seem reasonable, that the Right of Return needs to be amended, to allow time for at least a cursory look at potential immigrants' criminal records, to prevent his from ever happening in the future, period, end of discussion.

Why Is Maduro Still Pushing The Petro?

In a recent Wall Street Journal article, Mary Anastasia O’Grady writes that Venezuela’s “National Superintendency for the Defense of Socio-Economic Rights is reportedly pressuring stores to accept the government’s new digital fiat currency, the petro.” The Venezuelan government claims its digital currency, which launched in early 2018, is backed one-for-one by a barrel of oil. The petro is also intended to circulate at a fixed exchange rate with the bolívar soberano, the latest iteration of Venezuela’s fledgling currency.

Ms. O’Grady quotes me summarizing some of the work I have done with Josh Hendrickson and Thomas Hogan, which shows that a government can get its citizens to use its preferred money so long as it is sufficiently big or is willing to levy sufficiently large punishments. But she leaves another question unanswered: why would the Venezuelan government prefer the petro?

HOW CHINA IS WORKING TO QUARANTINE THE TRUTH ABOUT THE CORONAVIRUS

SOURCE: CRYPTOGON
“Censorship, diversion, and lying.”

Google’s core principals?

*I crack myself up*

This piece is useful in understanding state behavior, in general, and their large, lapdog media and social networking organizations.

Via: DefenseOne:

In its battle to contain the coronavirus, the Chinese government has undertaken a wide range of measures, from shutting down cities to using drones to monitor and compel public compliance with public health edicts. But the regime is also waging a second battle: a campaign to control the world’s discussions of the first.

The weapons in this information war are Beijing’s massive media and online control mechanisms. Its three prevailing tactics—all too common across authoritarian regimes and wider online warfare— are censorship, diversion, and lying. China’s efforts show how an online battle for public security sometimes works in opposition to public health, and it reveals the priorities of an authoritarian regime.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The world's scientific community needs to implore Chinese leadership, in the most gentle, logical, and responsible way possible, that this cover-up, will be what will be remembered in world history, not how this actually came to happen.

To the Chinese political and scientific leadership, please; this is a time when humankind needs to come together and collaborate, to come to better understandings of what can be done to fight this virus intelligent, rapidly, and humanely.

On Leaving California: "I've Watched Grown Adults Dress Up As Vaginas & Parade The Streets"

Another feature of living where I live would have to be the homeless, the insane and the drug addicts that wander this particular neighborhood. Please humor me while I tell you what that looks like from ground zero.

As I wait for my morning coffee to brew, I can see the more industrious homeless pushing or pulling their junk carts from under the overpass where they spent the night. During the day, these guys will scoop up anything of value that is not nailed down. Others that I can see have their signs and will go panhandle where the tourists must exit the freeway.

VIZIBILEZONE WANTS PEDESTRIANS TO LET DRIVERS TRACK THEIR LOCATION IN REAL-TIME

Have you ever felt unsafe crossing the street? You could look both ways before crossing the street and feel safe, knowing you used common sense to navigate street crossings.

Or, you could download this app which alerts drivers to slow down and/or stop as you approach an intersection allowing you to cross the street safely.

An Israeli start-up company called Viziblezone (VZ) wants pedestrians, bicyclists, people on skateboards, scooters etc., to send their locations to vehicles in real-time.
"Viziblezone has introduced a patent-protected, cutting-edge vehicle integrated “Pedestrian Detector.” The system identifies, tracks and protects pedestrians, even when they go undetected by a fast-approaching driver. The detector is designed to operate in any adverse weather and visibility, whether day or night."
VZ's app could give anyone that that leases their software the ability to know where a person or vehicle is in real-time.

"It Looks Like A Zombie Apocalypse": City Streets Deserted Amid Surge In Korean COVID-19 Cases

Seemingly overnight, the public attitude toward the coronavirus outbreak in South Korea has gone from simmering apprehension to full-blown paranoia. And nowhere is that more apparent than in Daegu, the country's fourth-largest city, with a population of 2.5 million people - roughly one-tenth of the South's total population.

As the South Korean government debates whether to raise the alert level, the mayor of Daegu has asked all of the city's residents to avoid venturing outside as the government tracks down, tests and quarantines all the members of a church where an infected woman is believed to have spread the virus to more than 40 people.

SOURCE: THE GRAYZONE
Former Michael Bloomberg aide Arick Wierson, who is pushing the billionaire’s 2020 presidential campaign and attacking Bernie Sanders, helped elect far-right demagogue Jair Bolsonaro in Brazil.

BY BEN NORTON

A Michael Bloomberg surrogate pumping up the billionaire’s 2020 campaign for president also helped to elect Brazil’s extreme-right leader, Jair Bolsonaro, an open supporter of military dictatorship who frequently threatens violence against his political opponents.

Arick Wierson is a public relations strategist who served as a political aide and the top communications adviser to Bloomberg when the Republican media mogul was mayor of New York City.

Webmaster's Commentary:

That Bloomberg is so comfortable, tasking surrogates to support dictatorships in other countries with their PR, to the detriment of the people living in those countries, makes me wonder just what kind of allegiances he has to the Original Contract with America, the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

And a at this moment in time, I find myself singularly uncomfortable with this question, relative to Bloomberg's Presidential candidacy and aspirations.

Shadow of war: What are the odds Turkey will start a full-scale offensive against Syria in Idlib?

Tensions are boiling over between Ankara and Damascus as Turkey vowed to take matters into its own hands and openly intervene in Syria’s Idlib province, where government forces are routing the Turkish-backed militants.

The troubled north-western province is the last major bastion of the militants in war-torn Syria. It saw another round of escalating violence on Thursday. Local armed groups seeking to push back the Syrian Army from the territories along the strategic highway it recently seized were counting on support from Turkish artillery, which only stood down after Russian forces in the area intervened.

Ankara does not plan to back down, however, and President Recep Tayyip Erdogan recently declared that a Turkish offensive in Idlib is just “a matter of time.” Meanwhile, Moscow has described any direct Turkish military involvement in Syria as the “worst-case scenario.” How likely is it to happen?

Victoria Nuland mentioned the $5 billion price tag before the 2014 Maidan coup, so what’s a few more million? One of the latest programs to gently steer Ukraine was rolled out by USAID last week and aims to spend up to $38 million over the course of five years on explaining to young Ukrainians what it actually means to be a Ukrainian.

Supernovae could be bombarding Earth with COSMIC ‘BULLETS’ travelling at 3,000km a second, scientists warn

Earth is bombarded daily by small meteors measuring between 1mm and 10cm wide, most of which hit the atmosphere at speeds faster than 17km per second. However, Harvard University physicists Amir Siraj and Prof. Abraham Loeb suspect that some meteors could hit our atmosphere while travelling at a fraction of the speed of light – somewhere in the region of 3,000km per second.

The Grand Mufti of Yemen and head of Yemen Scholars Association says Saudi Arabia sees no obstacle to granting the entire Palestine to Jews, describing such an approach as the principled policy of the Riyadh regime.

“Saudi Arabia's fundamental position is that there is no obstacle to granting Palestine to the Jews," Sheikh Shams al-Din Sharaf al-Din said at a conference of Yemeni scholars entitled “Rejection of Trump’s deal and prohibition of normalization with the Zionist enemy” in the capital Sana’a on Thursday.

Behind the explosive Charles Lieber scandal

The sensors will transmit all this information, through the emerging Internet of Things—using the 5G pipeline—to medical centers—where AI corporate and government analysts will confirm the disease diagnoses and prescribe treatments.

Eventually, a few billion people (patients) would, through these sensors in their bodies, be hooked up to the 5G Internet of Things.

However, as I’ve reported many times in these pages, the standard definitions of diseases and disorders are often incorrect, or even invented. But because the future system I’ve just sketched is automated, the patient is enclosed in a fake and dangerous bubble. Among other problems, the disease treatments, the drugs, are toxic.

What is the technology that is on the way to producing these body sensors?

Nanoscience. Nano-engineering.

Pro-Trump NSC Staffer Kash Patel Tapped to Serve as Senior Advisor to Grenell to “Clean House” at ODNI

Mr. Patel previously worked for hero Congressman Devin Nunes and he wrote the 2-page FISA memo released by Nunes in February of 2018 alleging the FBI/DOJ improperly obtained four FISA warrants on Trump campaign advisor Carter Page.

President Trump on Wednesday named ?Ambassador Richard Grenell? as Acting Head of the Office of Director of National Intelligence.

This move is going to shake up the rogue intelligence agencies who are notoriously anti-Trump.

It gets better…

Erdogan Raises Stakes in Syria, Launches Offensive vs Syrian Army, Russians Intervene on Opposite Side

Talk about a dangerous mess. While Turkey and Russia are still negotiating on Idlib Erdogan launched a Turkish-rebel offensive on the town of Nairab (on the approaches to the strategically key Saraqib) in Syrian army hands.

This was not an all out Turkish offensive but a preview of what will follow if the Russians don’t accommodate him in the ongoing negotiations. However, as Erdogan raised the stakes, the Russians matched him and answered by entering the battle on the Syrian side.

Math favors Sanders as fractured field presents path to victory

Sen. Bernard Sanders appears to have hit a ceiling of support, with polls and early results showing him struggling to top 30% of the vote in most states.

Yet that may still be more than enough to win the Democratic nomination this year.

LEAKED TWITTER DEMO SHOWS RED BANNERS TO INDICATE LIES AND DISINFORMATION UNDER TWEETS

A leaked demo has bright red and orange marks on 'harmfully misleading' tweets

"Twitter is experimenting with adding brightly colored labels directly beneath lies and misinformation posted by politicians and public figures," reports Ben Collins at NBC News.

“Twitter tells me it's a possible iteration of something that will roll out on March 5. Possible community moderation coming, too. We've got screenshots.”

From Ben's NBC News reporting:

In this version, disinformation or misleading information posted by public figures will be corrected directly beneath the tweet by fact-checkers and journalists who are verified on the platform, and possibly other users who will participate in a new “community reports” feature, which the demo claims is “like Wikipedia.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

And Twitizens, of course, are forced to "swallow the codswallop" here, that Twitter's alleged "fact checkers" have utterly zero geopolitical agenda here, which is, of course, an absolutely a damned lie.

NEW ‘PURITY TEST’ TOOL TO SCAN HOLLYWOOD SCRIPTS FOR ‘DIVERSITY BIAS’

SOURCE: SUMMIT.NEWS

Major Hollywood studios are set to use a new tool that scans movie & TV scripts and flags up any examples where “diversity” is not portrayed positively in a chilling new development that has echoes of Soviet realism.

Called ‘Spellcheck for Bias’, the tool was developed by the Davis’ Institute on Gender in Media and USC’s Viterbi School of Engineering. It is set to be implemented by Universal Pictures, DreamWorks Animation, Focus Features and NBC Entertainment within the near future.

“The tool supposedly breaks down diversity in material such as scripts and advertising briefs by scanning for mentions of LGBTQ, race, and disabilities, and then identifying how positively such things are portrayed,” writes Zachary Leeman.

‘Beetlejuice’ actress Geena Davis has also partnered with Universal Filmed Entertainment Group to use the program “to police gender roles in scripts.”
