"Well, first of all, the Federal Reserve is an independent agency, and that means, basically, that there is no other agency of government which can overrule actions that we take. So long as that is in place and there is no evidence that the administration or the Congress or anybody else is requesting that we do things other than what we think is the appropriate thing, then what the relationships are don't, frankly, matter." -- Alan Greespan, responding to a question by Jim Lehrer

Did Obama Murder Antonin Scalia? The Conspiracy Theories, Explained

The Judge who blocked an autopsy was previously accused of a murder coverup

Now that Justice Scalia’s body has been embalmed (at the “family’s” “request,” so they say), any hope that an autopsy might reveal the truth is null and void. Which is awfully convenient considering the fact that the usual justice of the peace for Presidio, Texas, Juanita Bishop, just so happened to be indisposed that day for a “work-related event.”

The justice that took her place, Judge Cinderella Guevara, had previously not ordered an autopsy on a young girl whose parents allegedly would have preferred otherwise, according to this blog post from a Daily Kos user named “Singing Lizard.”

Second-worst charity in America agrees to shut down

While Cancer Fund provides care packages that contain shampoo and toothbrushes, the people in charge have personally made millions of dollars and used donations as venture capital to build a charity empire. Less than 2 cents of every dollar raised has gone to direct cash aid for patients or families, records show.

For years, Cancer Fund founder James T. Reynolds Sr. and his family have obscured that fact with accounting tricks, deceptive marketing campaigns and lies…

Now, after years under federal investigation, it looks like Reynolds will shut his Knoxville, Tennessee-based charity down.

FCC commissioner: U.S. tradition of free expression slipping away

The American traditions of free expression and respectful discourse are slipping away, and college campuses and Twitter are prime examples, according to a member of the Federal Communications Commission.

"I think that poses a special danger to a country that cherishes First Amendment speech, freedom of expression, even freedom of association," FCC Commissioner Ajit Pai told the Washington Examiner. "I think it's dangerous, frankly, that we don't see more often people espousing the First Amendment view that we should have a robust marketplace of ideas where everybody should be willing and able to participate.

"Largely what we're seeing, especially on college campuses, is that if my view is in the majority and I don't agree with your view, then I have the right to shout you down, disrupt your events, or otherwise suppress your ability to get your voice heard," Pai added.

We’ve reported before on how calling the police for help these days in the modern American police state usually ends in less help and more death, pets included.

This time the woman was actually calling for an ambulance and not the cops, but since all first response tech is now integrated, the cops were sent anyway.

The Charleston Gazette-Mail reports:

Donna Spry called her husband’s doctor, crying. Curly Spry was refusing to go to his appointment. He was suicidal, off his medication and had a gun, his wife said.

Call 911, the doctor’s staff instructed her.

Less than an hour later, Curly Spry was dead. He had been shot 11 times by troopers with the West Virginia State Police, according to a lawsuit filed by Donna Spry last month in Kanawha County Circuit Court.

The family is suing for $11 million—their attorney told the Gazette-Mail that the agency’s insurance covers $1 million per incident.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Isn't it just amazing how wonderfully police in this country are interpreting the motto "To protect and serve" these days?!?!?

Unless you want yourself or someone you love dearly to be shot and killed, never, EVER CALL 911!!!!!!

FLASHBACK - The Death Of John Kennedy

There have been two official investigations. One concluded Oswald acted alone, the other that there was a conspiracy. After half a century, many of the key documents which could tell the whole story remain classified. John F. Kennedy's brain is still missing from the National Archives. Why, if it is an open and shut case? Why the secrecy, if Oswald was just a "crazed lone gunman"?

FLASHBACK - The Death of Vincent Foster

This is a key point. The White House is the most secure private residence in the world, equipped with a sophisticated entry control system and video surveillance system installed by the Mitre Corporation. Yet no record exists that Vincent Foster left the White House under his own power on July 20th, 1993. No video of him exiting the building exists. No logbook entry shows he checked out of the White House.

Several hours after he was last seen inside the White House, Vincent Foster was found dead in Fort Marcy Park, in a Virginia suburb just outside Washington D.C.

The death was ruled a suicide (the first major Washington suicide since Secretary of Defense James Forrestal in 1949), but almost immediately rumors began to circulate that the story of a suicide was just a cover-up for something much worse.

FLASHBACK - John F. Kennedy Jr.: Evidence Of A Cover up

Just days prior to his death, NBC Dateline hinted that JFK Jr. was considering an entry into politics, and mentioned that a story to that effect was to be published in the July 26th, 1999 issue of NEWSWEEK.

NEWSWEEK recalled that issue from the distrubutors, and had them destroyed. CNN ran a story claiming that NEWSWEEK planned to change covers and re-distribute, but that never happened. The NEWSWEEK issue dealing with JFK Jr. is dated August 2nd. The July 26th 1999 issue of NEWSWEEK simply vanished.

John F. Kennedy Jr. had already publicy stated a desire to run for Pat Moynihan's Senate seat should he retire. Had Kennedy done so, he would have probably won, and Hillary Clinton's grab of the NY Senate seat as a stepping stone in her run for the White House would have failed.

The test run proved that negative interest rates can push savers into minus territory. Public outrage, while registered is not heard by the central bankers. The reasoning that commercial banks will start making loans because of the cost of sitting on deposits is pure fantasy thinking. As the article, Low Interest Rates Impoverish Savers shows,

“How long will people accept this thief? The options to parking cash in hand with a FDIC insured institution seems worth an examination. However, few alternatives for working class savers exist. Surely, this occurrence is intentional because the real objective of the “New Normal” is to bankrupt Middle America. What other conclusion makes sense?”

Webmaster's Commentary:

To make this happen, cash and precious metals will have to be outlawed, collected, and people severely punished if they hoard these items in order to make this work.

I frankly think that this would be "the bridge too far" which would cause Americans to snap, universally.

FLASHBACK - Rivero challenges the NSA

The NSA justifies its surveillance of all our computer and phone data with the claim they need it to detect and track terrorists. Obviously the Boston Bombing proves this is an epic fail, even given the admission by the FBI that they did in fact have recorded phone calls for the Tsarnaev brothers to listen to.

I maintain that the NSA spying is wholly about controlling the American people, looting their business secrets for cronies, and has no impact on real terrorists (as opposed to fake acting a theater role to sell us a war) because real terrorists and drug criminals have known all along that public communications are open to monitoring.

This brings us to the issue of encryption to protect our privacy.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I am reposting this in the face of a continued push by the government to ban encryption or to force you to use encryption which the government can read, all supposedly so the government can find criminals and terrorists.

This is, of course, nonsense.

One only need look at the epidemic of computer crime that is being committed with impunity to know that the NSA/CIA/FBI are not able to find these people, and there is a very good reason for that.

Real criminals and terrorists are able to create their own systems of encryption which the NSA cannot break.

This article details how we proved that. Over the course of a year, we created and issued 6 separate encryption challenges, none of which were ever solved.

Now, the NSA had a powerful motive to defeat these challenges, in order to discourage citizens from writing their own encryption systems. Once people know it is possible, even easy, to create encryption systems the NSA cannot break, they will start to do it. That was the whole point of this exercise.

Hence, the government war on encryption is not about crime and terror; it is a war on your right to privacy.

Scalia’s death means Obama’s Clean Power Plan is more likely to succeed

For the first time in U.S. history, the Supreme Court stepped in to stay a regulation that was still being reviewed by a lower court.

A further development I didn’t foresee was that, only four days after the issuance of the unprecedented stay, the makeup of the high court would change, abruptly.

And then that happened, too.

The impact of Justice Antonin Scalia’s death will reverberate across the legal landscape, and we can’t yet grasp its full consequences. But one is already clear: The most important environmental initiative of the Obama presidency is now much more likely to succeed.

Turkey Is About to Find Out That 'No' Means 'No'

Despite a whirlwind of statements from several Arab nations, NATO and the UN, Russia has only said two things:

2) The Americans - the American President and our Arab partners - have to ask themselves if they want permanent war."

Other than those two public statements, Russia has been very quiet. The fact that the Russians have said nothing is a very revealing thing: There is no more left to say.

Right there, in the top left corner, is what’s causing serious conniption fits in the halls of Ankara, Turkey, as Erdogan is furious at the thought of losing A’zaz. Azaz is roughly 20 miles north of Aleppo, and remains one of the last major holdouts of the area, for terrorist forces backed by Turkey/US/UK/Saudis/Israel.

As you can see, Azaz is being surrounded by Kurdish forces, currently(specifically the YPG), and if the Kurdish people are able to occupy that last outpost, held by terrorist groups, backed by Turkey….then two things will occur:

1) The Kurdish people will be able to consolidate huge territorial gains made during the war, and have a complete network stretching across northern Syria, and

2) The last remaining supply lines to Turkish/Saudi-backed terrorists in Aleppo will be completely cut!

“Anytime a head of state, member of Congress, or the most conservative member of the U.S. Supreme Court is found dead, an extensive autopsy and toxicology examination should be both immediate and mandatory,” said Gheen. “The horrid reaction and comments about his death expressed by many liberals online illustrate that Scalia was hated by many people.”

Syria: At the Gateway of Greater War

By Tony Cartalucci

Syrian forces backed by Russian airpower have made major advances across the battlefield along multiple fronts.

Around Aleppo, Syrian forces have cut supply lines from Turkey that were for years, supplying terrorists operating inside the country. Just east of a growing encirclement of the city of Aleppo, a secondary encirclement of so-called “Islamic State” (ISIS) forces is forming as the offensive to relieve Kuweris Airbase has evolved into a northern advance toward Al Bab – a critical logistical hub used by US-NATO-GCC backed terrorists during the initial invasion of Aleppo in 2012 and onward.

Deeper within the interior of Syria, Syrian forces have advanced eastward into the Al Raqqa Governorate, approaching the Tabaqa Airbase. The airbase is a crucial waypoint toward seizing back the city of Al Raqqa itself, which has become the de facto capital of ISIS...

BEX ALERT - On the Death of Supreme Court Junket King Scalia

It’s appropriate that Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia died at a luxury resort while freeloading as the guest of thus far unidentified wealthy sponsors as one of 40 guests at a private quail-hunting vacation party.

The resort where he died, Cibolo Ranch Resort, located on land stolen by its founder from the Apache and Comanche people in the Big Bend region of west Texas, is a posh retreat favored by the ultra rich, offering rooms priced from $350 to $800 a night — and it’s a safe bet that the bed Scalia died in was located in a top-priced room — and that the credit card that was swiped to pay for it didn’t have his name on it. (According to one report, the guests at the gathering had their bills covered by the resort’s owner, John Poindexter, a mullti-millionaire real estate owner, rancher and former investment banker.)

Having failed to convince anyone that Scalia died a natural death, the next step for the propagandists is to smear the man and make him hated. If people stop caring about Scalia, they stop caring about just how he died.

Markets Ignore Fundamentals And Chase Headlines Because They Are Dying

Normalcy bias is a rather horrifying thing. It is so frightening because it is so final; much like death, there is simply no coming back. Rather than a physical death, normalcy bias represents the death of reason and simple observation. It is the death of the mind and cognitive thought instead of the death of the body.

Ever since the derivatives collapse of 2008 the public has been regaled with wondrous stories of recovery in the mainstream to the point that such fantasies have become the “new normal”. Syria Invasion: Obama Is About to Make the Biggest Decision of His Presidency

President Obama must decide if he will let the Syrian civil war come to an end with Russian-backed President Assad still in power or if he will escalate by supporting a Turkish-Saudi invasion, which could push the world to the brink of nuclear war, writes Joe Lauria. With the Russian-backed Syrian army encircling Aleppo, cutting off Turkish supplies to rebels and advancing on the Islamic State’s capital of Raqqa, a panicked Saudi Arabia and Turkey have set up a joint headquarters to direct an invasion of Syria that could lead to a vast escalation of the war. And there’s only one man who could stop them: President Barack Obama. It is probably the most important decision Obama will make in his eight years in office since a Turkish-Saudi invasion risks a direct showdown between Russia and NATO, since Turkey is a member of the alliance...

Israel's Plan B for Syria Is to Break It Up

If there's one thing that Israel likes it's Arabs fighting Arabs.
…Israeli Defence Minister Moshe Yaalon said he was “very pessimistic” about the truce’s prospects. “Unfortunately we are going to face chronic instability for a very, very long period of time,” he said. “And part of any grand strategy is to avoid the past, saying we are going to unify Syria. We know how to make an omelette from an egg. I don’t know how to make an egg from an omelette.” Referring to some of the warring sects, Yaalon added: “We should realise that we are going to see enclaves?—?‘Alawistan’, ‘Syrian Kurdistan’, ‘Syrian Druzistan’. They might cooperate or fight each other.” Ram Ben-Barak, director-general of Israel’s Intelligence Ministry, described partition as “the only possible solution”.

Ex-British Army Chief: Russia Is Getting It Right in Syria, It's the UK Getting It Wrong

Britain is failing spectacularly in Syria and should follow Russia's lead by launching airstrikes in support of the Syrian state says General Lord Dannatt, ex-chief of the general staff. General Lord Dannatt, ex-chief of general staff, said defeating Islamic State (ISIS) would only be achieved through military force. The senior official, who led the British army between 2006-2009, said: "It is only going to be one with military defeat. From the air can help, but on the ground is where the decision is going to come. "Conflicts are only resolved on the ground...it has got to be soldiers acting on the ground that bring a resolution, but within a diplomatic and political framework. That is what is missing in Syria."

Medvedev: "We Will Not Ask for the Lifting of Sanctions. They Will Come to Us"

"Russia will never ask for the sanctions to be lifted against her," stated the Prime Minister of our country in an interview. According to Medvedev, Russia will wait until the West will understand that they only make themselves worse off. "We have never asked for anything and will never ask, especially to the West. Knowing our literature, it is possible to remember, for example Mikhail Bulgakov. There is a very exact phrase in the book that was widely reviewed — "Master and Margarita". Woland says in it that he doesn't need to ask for anything — they'll make the offer, and then they will give everything. So we'll do the same — will never ask them to cancel these sanctions. They will soon come to to an intelligent opinion and then say: "Come on, hurry up, let's end this as soon as possible, because nobody is better, everybody only gets worse" — these exact words were picked by the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation to summarise the situation.

German General: Russia Will Bring Peace to Syria, Turkey Will Bring Catastrophe

Moscow has a coordinated plan to combat the jihadists, and it is obvious that without its participation the solution is impossible. "Without Russia, there will not be peace in the region" — said the General. The General also noted that the Syrian conflict has sides who will prevent the implementation of this plan, the first of which is Ankara. The corridor created by the army of Assad will eventually run into areas that are now under the control of Kurds, who distinguished themselves in the fight against terrorists. Meanwhile Turkey does not intend to stop the bombing of these areas and intends to continue the operation against Kurdish troops. In addition, Ankara is planning to send ground forces to Syria than can undermine all efforts to resolve the crisis."Turkish intervention has the potential to transform the Syrian conflict into a global catastrophe," concludes Kujat.

China deploys anti-aircraft systems on disputed islands

The Chinese authorities have deployed several long-range anti-aircraft complexes on a disputed island in the South China Sea. Two batteries of eight HQ-9 systems are seen on satellite images, TASS reports. Beijing also deployed a radar station on one of the Paracel Islands (Xisha Islands). The anti-aircraft systems appeared on the location last week, Fox News said. A US official confirmed the authenticity of the satellite images. China, Japan, Vietnam and the Philippines have differences over maritime boundaries and areas of responsibility in the South China and East China Seas. China believes that countries such as the Philippines and Vietnam deliberately use the support of the United States to escalate tensions in the region.

Scalia murdered? Did Texas Judge once ask God for a ruling?

Who is Texas Judge, Cinderela Guevara, who denied an autopsy?

“[In 2013], my sister and my daughter’s paternal aunt and I went to see Cinderela Guevara several times. [This is Judge Guevara, who just ruled Scalia died of natural causes and no autopsy was necessary.] I went to see her alone two times…

“When she was alone with me, Ms. Guevara asked about my religious beliefs several times. We spoke about the Catholic faith and on September 3, 2013, when I met with her, she told me that she had prayed to God for an answer as to whether it was suicide or not and asked God to give her an answer in the video. She said she did not receive an answer as to that, but she did receive an answer from God. She stated to me that God told her that, yes this was a tragedy, but the true tragedy was that Melaney had died without accepting Jesus Christ as her savior.

“This was the woman who was deciding the cause of death of my daughter. Was she willing to consider any investigation of a homicide if she believed I was being punished by God?”

A US Supreme Court Justice dies. The circumstances are unknown. Therefore, a Texas Judge rules: no autopsy is necessary. Talk about insanity—or worse.

Republicans stand down for FBI investigation of Clinton server

Republicans are refusing to use the Benghazi playbook to go after Hillary Clinton’s private email server.

Instead of launching formal investigations or propping up a new special committee to investigate the emails — as they did with the 2012 Libya terror attack — House Republicans have gone out of their way to avoid formal inquiries into allegations that classified information was mishandled on Clinton’s personal machine.

Webmaster's Commentary:

For the GOP to be protecting Hillary over her server supports the theory that Hillary was indeed selling US secrets to foreign governments using her private server to deliver and her "charitable" foundation to collect and launder the payments. The GOP is not protectring Hillary out of love, but to save their own jobs, because a serving Secretary of State running an espionage operation out of the State Department is a scandal capable of bringing down the entire Federal Government.

And it should!

Proof That Ukraine and Members of the EU Have Given up Their Sovereignty to the US

This is a 9 minute video, although you only have to watch till 7:40 to get the main argument. It seems state sovereignty in the EU has become a thing of the past. Not only does the EU seem to obey every foreign policy decision the US asks it to, but there are many US citizens, educated in the US, who have become important members of government in certain states. In the Baltic States, namely Estonia and Lithuania, even heads of government were US citizens. Under these heads of government, the Baltic states had joined both the EU and NATO. Of course, there is also Ukraine, which, after the coup in 2014, the new government appointed a US citizen to be finance minister. Even more striking is these members of government had retained US citizenship even while "leading" their nations. Why does this matter? It matters because when acquiring US citizenship, like all people obtaining US citizenship, they had to take an oath swearing allegiance to the United States and no other country.

CIA, NATO and Swedish Military Plotted Regime Change in Sweden in 1980s - Documentary (Video)

To win the cold war President Ronald Reagan formed a secret ‘deception committee’ for a disinformation campaign against the USSR. On several occasions ‘disinformation’ put the world on the brink of nuclear war. The ‘Soviet’ U-boat scare that shook Sweden in the 80s was caused by US and UK subs that penetrated Swedish territorial waters disguised as Russian ones. Swedish military were fully aware of these operations but did not report to Prime Minister, Olof Palme. The number of Swedes believing in a Soviet threat increased fourfold. ‘Dove’ Palme had no choice but to take anti-Soviet stance. He was assassinated the day before his trip to meet Gorbachev whom he saw as a like minded person. The 52 minutes documentary “Deception: The Methods of Reagan” by German director Dirk Pohlmann premiered last May on ‘ARTE’ the French/German highbrow channel. Broadcast late at night and early in the morning, it generated no reaction.

Turkey Admits to Aiding Al Qaeda and ISIS

Turkish support for Al Qaeda and ISIS in Syria has always been an open secret. Now it's an accepted fact. Yesterday, Turkish Prime Minister Davutoglu told Reuters that YPG fighters would have seized Azaz and Tal Rifaat if it had not been for Turkish artillery shelling. He failed to mention that these towns would have been liberated from Al Qaeda. Al Qaeda’s Syrian branch, Jabhat Al Nusra, shares control of Azaz with "moderate" FSA brigades. Davutoglu has effectively admitted that Turkey is protecting Al Qaeda. This would not be the first time Turkey has had a direct hand in helping Al Qaeda take a Syrian town...

Trump’s crafty move on Iraq: His war comments allow conservatives to move past the Bush years while saving face

Trump's Iraq comments were initially surprising, but they give conservatives a way to put Bush years behind them
Trump accused the former president of lying about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq and called the war “a big, fat mistake.” Trump also sneered at Jeb Bush that the “World Trade Center came down during your brother’s reign.” These comments range from demonstrably true (the 9/11 comment) to arguable (there’s no proof that Bush knowingly lied, but his administration did heavily massage the evidence to get their preexisting desire to start a war in Iraq). Perhaps unaccustomed to hearing reality-based rhetoric during their debates, the Republican audience booed Trump loudly for this.
