Stoking Fear of Flying to Russia

Comments now making headlines are pure speculation - irresponsible until at least early investigative results are known. Russia’s assessment will be definitive.

Yet major media reports now circulating say US and UK sources claim information they have suggests a bomb planted aboard the aircraft downed it.

AP: “Bomb May Have Downed Russian Jet, US, UK Officials Say.”

The New York Times published the AP report.

Reuters: “Bomb by Islamic State likely caused Russian plane crash: security sources”

Washington Post: “Britain suspends flights from Sinai, citing bomb fears”

It’s a short leap to suspending flights to Russia or discouraging travelers from going there. Would fear-mongering follow a US airliner crash, whatever the possible cause? Normal activities always resume.

Webmaster's Commentary:

It is hard to see the Metrojet crash as justification not to fly to Russia as in the case of a bomb, it is the departure airport in Egypt that would be seen as the scene of the crime, not the destination in Russia which was never reached.

US Troops Armed With Best Weapons in the World? Not Really

The United States Army has some of the best weapons in the world, which are "quite good in many areas," but some armaments produced by other countries, including Russia, China, Germany, etc. have impressive capabilities that American weapons lack, defense analyst Michael Peck asserted.

The expert cited research which focused on armored fighting vehicles, helicopters, rocket and cannon artillery, as well as various logistics platforms. The study was conducted by the RAND Corp., a nonprofit that provides analysis for the US military.

Ex-deputy director of MI6 is named by MP as 'key' figure who 'manipulated' Westminster VIP paedophile ring

A former deputy director of MI6 is 'key' to allegations surrounding a VIP paedophile ring in Westminster, an MP has claimed.

Labour MP John Mann said the late George Kennedy Young, known as GK Young, was involved in 'dubious' political activity, including establishing a 'private army'.

He added Mr Young, who later became involved in right wing politics, was a 'manipulator' who controlled groups of people within which there were paedophile rings in the 1970s or 1980s.

Mr Mann, MP for Bassetlaw, claimed he had been handed a copy of the dossier of evidence that was given by Conservative MP Geoffrey Dickens to then Home Secretary Leon Brittan in 1984.

BEX ALERT - US intelligence: A bomb planted by ISIS most likely brought down the crashed Russian plane

The intelligence is reportedly based partly on monitoring of internal ISIS messages.

Islamic State, which controls swathes of Iraq and Syria and is battling the Egyptian army in the Sinai Peninsula, said again on Wednesday it brought down the airplane, adding it would eventually tell the world how it carried out the attack.

Investigations are ongoing, however, and US and European officials haven't made any formal conclusions yet.

"There is a definite feeling it was an explosive device planted in luggage or somewhere on the plane," an unnamed official told CNN.

Webmaster's Commentary:

At this point it is very obvious that "terror" is being pushed very hard even though the "evidence" presented by the west (who are not actually involved in the investigation of the crash) is flimsy. This isn't reporting; this is a sales pitch! This feels like a propaganda campaign. Leading to what? The new 9-11 Lindsey Graham was talking about in Congress while pushing for more wars?

Russia complains about lack of Egypt crash information from Britain

The Russian foreign ministry complained about Britain's failure to hand over information about Saturday's deadly plane crash in Egypt, after London said there was a significant possibility that Islamists had planted a bomb onboard.

"The British government has not given us any information about the plane crash," Maria Zakharova, a foreign ministry spokeswoman, told reporters, according to the TASS news agency.

"If they have information and they are not presenting it that is shocking," she added, saying it was surprising that the representative of a foreign government rather than experts were putting forward theories about the plane's fate.

Webmaster's Commentary:

So far, the claims that there was a bomb on board are admitted to be based on "timing", supposedly intercepted chatter, and the videos (some of which are obviously fake) claiming ISIS shot down the plane. Russia asks for Britain's proof there was a bomb and is refused! Both Egypt and Russia are saying the plane suffered a mechanical failure, yet the west is pushing this terror theme as hard as they can. One is left wondering if some false-flag attacks on airplanes are being planned and someone decided to seize in a genuine accident to "pre-sell" that false-flag.

Hypocritical Obama says USA isn't about 'occupying countries' & 'firing missiles'

America’s world supremacy is not about the number of occupied countries and fired missiles, believes the US president. Its international strength relies on diplomacy, protection of human rights and cooperation with other nations.

“The measure of strength internationally is not simply by how many countries we're occupying, or how many missiles we're firing, but the strength of our diplomacy and the strength of our commitment to human rights and our belief that we've got to cooperate with other countries together to solve massive problems like terrorism, but also like climate change,” the Washington Examiner cited Barack Obama as saying on Wednesday while addressing a 350-person fundraiser in Potomac, Maryland.

How Zionism’s brutality reaches from Gaza’s beaches to US academia

There are the persistent lies about Israel’s continued attacks on Palestinians, and in particular its lies about how it kills children.

There are, for instance, the four children killed by Israeli shelling in the summer of 2014 while playing on the beach in Gaza.

In an interview recounted by Salaita, CNN’s Wolf Blitzer asked Naftali Bennett, an Israeli government minister who has boasted about his own killing of Arabs, about the incident.

Bennett fired back, “I think it’s terrible that Hamas is butchering its own children … conducting massive self-genocide. They’re taking women and children, placing them in missile launchers, and shooting the missiles at Israel.”

The outburst puzzled even Blitzer, who is not exactly known for his support of Palestinian rights.

On 20 October, France’s highest court of criminal appeals upheld the conviction of a dozen Palestine solidarity activists for publicly calling for the boycott of Israeli goods.

The ruling by the Court of Cassation adds to growing concerns about the harsh crackdown on free speech, backed by French President François Hollande, since the murders of journalists at the offices of the magazine Charlie Hebdo in January.

It also makes France, along with Israel, the only country to penalize appeals not to buy Israeli goods.

Revelations Over Cause of Russian Plane Crash Deal Humiliating Blow to Egypt

Britain announced it is halting Sinai flights as Egyptian President Sissi arrived in London; inauspicious timing suggests that there is solid evidence that bomb brought down Russian passenger jet.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Note the comment that the "suspicious" timing is the basis for "suggesting" there was a bomb. This is pure spin, and the terrorist angle is being pushed very hard right when Wikileaks Ukraine is saying there are plans for a false-flag and Lindsey Graham is claiming to know that the next 9-11 is coming From Syria.

Husband claims procedure caused wife's cancer to spread

A husband claims a procedure caused his wife's cancer to spread. And then the couple says the local hospital crossed the line when she returned for a different operation.

This was an urgent procedure for a recurrence of cancer at one of Boston's most prestigious hospitals (* Brigham & Women's Hospital) . The patient and her husband are both doctors and he actually used to work there, but after a campaign that included 1000's of what the hospital says were incendiary emails to ban his wife's initial procedure the doctor risked being banned from the hospital for this important surgery.
"They pretty much cut it up and minced it all within my abdomen," Amy said.

The couple contend that procedure actually spread what turned out to be cancer throughout Amy's abdomen starting a war of words railing against the procedure that ended up with Hooman being escorted by security on Monday.

Did a U.S. Sentinel Drone Hit Doomed Russian Metrojet?

Look, the U.S. has been saying for years now that drones are presenting a threat to air traffic. And that’s the smaller ones, the size of pigeons and hawks that they’re talking about. In fact, at a recent Southern California wildfire, firefighters couldn’t bring in air tankers due to private drone traffic around the scene. The drones that the U.S. military uses are substantially larger. Therefore, if an airliner struck a drone the size of the ones the U.S. military uses, it would certainly be capable of fatally disabling the aircraft.

Houston Repeals “LGBT Discrimination Law” That Allowed Transgendered People to Use Any Public Bathroom They Want

Yes, there were other provisions of Houston’s HERO nondiscrimination city law, but the one that got the entire kit and caboodle repealed by a pretty high margin of voters involved one very, very simple premise: the idea that people who were born with girl parts use a female restroom, and people who were born with male parts use a male restroom.

Results showed 61% of voters said no to HERO, while only 39% voted to keep it.

By the way, proponents of this law outspent opponents THREE to ONE in advertising, and still it did not pass.

As Buzzfeed reported earlier this week, most voters in Houston didn’t even realize there were other provisions to the law or that it had much to do with discrimination per se.

Getting down to brass tacks, all people talked about was whether or not transgendered individuals, and in particular men who live and dress like women, would be allowed to use the women’s restrooms in public places in town.

Egypt is Flooding Gaza Border Tunnels With Seawater, Poisoning Water Supply

Egypt has been pumping salt water from the Mediterranean into Gaza's underground tunnels, which Cairo says have been used to smuggle weapons to Islamist insurgents in the Sinai desert.

But more than destroying the tunnels, the flooding is contaminating water supplies and threatening to wreck farmland and spread disease, Palestinian officials say.

"One cubic meter of seawater pollutes 40 cubic meters of underground water," said Tamer al-Sleibi, a water department director in Gaza.

He worries that the water could weaken the foundations of homes and spoil the land for agriculture. Additionally, as the water turns stagnant, mosquitoes and other disease carriers will breed.

Obama: "Suspicious Of Washington" Electorate Driving Political "Silly Season"

In an interview with NBC's Lester Holt aired Tuesday on Nightly News, President Obama said the "disgruntled" "suspicious of Washington" electorate is part of the current "silly season" in the 2016 election cycle.

The president said candidates are using Super PACs as a way to hide from talking about the issues.

"Describe the climate to me. Is it any different, the political climate, the election climate than when you ran eight years ago?" NBC's Holt asked President Obama.

"You know, political season is always a little bit of a silly season," Obama said. "I do think that what's different this time is that particularly in the Republican party you have, I think, the most disgruntled, or suspicious of Washington portion of the electorate that is driving the process."

CNN: Pike Place Market's Gum Wall Getting a Deep Cleaning (Another Seattle Icon 'Scrubbed' from History)

This story has been going national. It's too bad that everything Seattle is being erased. This is a short, disgusting, humorous video I made of Seattle's Gum Wall attraction during my early months while studying at the Art Institute of Seattle. Since I do photography at 24 frames per second, my work is not eligible for the photo contest.

The World's Most Powerful People 2015

Russian President Vladimir Putin emerged as the world’s most powerful person for the third year running. Putin continues to prove he’s one of the few men in the world powerful enough to do what he wants –and get away with it. International sanctions set in place after he seized Crimea and waged war-by-proxy in Ukraine have kneecapped the Ruble and driven Russia into deepening recession, but haven’t hurt Putin one bit: In June his approval ratings reached an all-time high of 89%. In October, he bombed ISIS forces in Syria and then met face-to-face with President Assad, making the U.S and NATO look weak in the region, and helping rebuild Russian influence abroad.

US-Backed Syrian Alliance Exists ‘In Name Only’

A few weeks ago, the US announced plans to dramatically increase aid to a group calling itself the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF), a heretofore unmentioned which itself was presented as having just been formed out of a similarly unknown faction called the Syrian Arab Coalition, which was nominally the recipient of large airdrops of US arms.

The group didn’t form out of nowhere, of course, and in many ways it didn’t form at all, as the indications are that the Democratic Forces exist in name only, and were largely an invention of the US for branding’s sake after the last failed rebel-creation plan.

U.S. intelligence: Bomb likely brought down plane

The latest U.S. intelligence suggests that the crash of Metrojet Flight 9268 was most likely caused by a bomb on the plane planted by ISIS or an ISIS affiliate, according to a U.S. official familiar with the matter. The official stressed that there has not been a formal conclusion reached by the U.S. intelligence community. "There is a definite feeling it was an explosive device planted in luggage or somewhere on the plane," the official told CNN's Barbara Starr.

Arseniy Yatsenyuk, Prime Minister of Ukraine, is accusing Russian president Vladimir Putin of wanting to split the EU through floods of refugees.

One can view Putin as one likes, but to be able to trigger such floods of refugees, our own politicians, military-industrial complexes and the militaristic interventions of our own political, economic and military allies would certainly not be in any need of assistance. They have been at it for decades now, straining with intensity – and that in all our names. This game for resources, power, markets and money they have played with skill, and one can comfortably state that they had a heck of a mass-killing party doing it.

History Repeats Itself: Moscow Defended Syria From US Regime Change Plots in 1957

While efforts at finding a political solution to the current Syria crisis are being stepped up by all interested parties, experts on the Middle East look back to the 1950s when the foundations of this extremely shaky edifice were laid down by the West.

Top secret Cabinet papers dating back to September 1957 reveal that the British government was quite uneasy of the possible consequences of the US policy of “regime change” in Syria. Moscow's reaction to the American policy on Syria, the British ministers observed, “could be expected to be strong and determined, and they [Moscow] would try to frustrate it by every means short of those which, in their judgement, would be likely to involve them in a war with the West.”

Captured ISIS Leaders in Iraq Confess to Receiving Military and Intelligence Support from the United States

Spokesman of Iraq’s Kata’ib Hezbollah (Hezbollah Battalions) popular forces Jafar al-Hosseini disclosing that captured ISIL leaders have acknowledged receiving logistical backup and intelligence support from the US.

“As the ISIL commanders captured in Iraqi popular forces’ recent military operations have confessed, the US supports for the terrorist groups are not limited to the dispatch of logistical support,” Al-Hosseini told FNA on Sunday.

He reiterated that the US has provided the ISIL with intelligence about the Iraqi forces’ positions and targets.

“ISIL commanders trusted the US officials who had assured them that the Iraqi forces would not attack Fallujah because the US had urged the Iraqi government to prevent the popular forces from entering Fallujah and raid Beiji instead; hence the terrorists left Fallujah for Beiji to stay on the alert in there,” Al-Hosseini added.

America’s Wars Have Killed 20-30 Million People Since WW2

Throughout the Cold War, and up until the present day, the US government has portrayed itself as a purveyor of freedom and democracy across the world. However, when you take a look at the results of our foreign policy, it becomes clear that our government is nothing more than a purveyor of death and misery.

We Are Change recently examined all of the recent conflicts that our government has been engaged in, and came to a startling conclusion. Since the end of World War Two, our freedom spreading government has killed between 20 and 30 million people across the globe. The numbers were derived from any conflict that the US had a crucial role in, including countless covert proxy wars and revolutions. The wars that we had a direct role in, including Korea, Vietnam, and Iraq, were responsible for at least 10-15 million deaths.
