This is how long it could take for United to recover from its PR disaster

YouGov chief executive officer Ted Marzilli compared the position United is in now to when Delta Air Lines’s computer glitch grounded hundreds of flights world-wide in August 2016. Then, the airline’s score fell from 9 to minus 33 over the course of a week (and has since risen to 1 — slightly above neutral).

“Right now United should be focusing more on how to address the social media storm swirling around its brand,” Marzilli said. “The brand has not been moving at social media speed to catch up and get ahead of the crisis. This may be indicative of a breaking point with the public resenting their treatment by large corporations.”

Piece of Cake: New Normal of Trump's Foreign Policy

Here's the Commander-in-chief of the Beautiful Piece of Chocolate Cake School of Foreign Policy, expanding on his next move regarding North Korea.

"We are sending an armada. Very powerful. We have submarines. Very powerful. Far more powerful than the aircraft carrier. That I can tell you."

As if bombing nuclear-armed North Korea would be as much of a piece of cake as Tomahawking a semi-deserted air base in Syria. But then, that's the beauty of a box of chocolates foreign policy; you never know what you're gonna get.

Clinton’s mania for death and destruction lives on in Trump: Analyst

With the firing the largest non-nuclear bomb in the US arsenal in Afghanistan, President Donald Trump has taken war to the next level, an American political analyst and activist says.

“Hillary Clinton lost the White House but her mania for death and destruction lives on in Trump,” Myles Hoenig, a former Green Party candidate for Congress, said in an interview with Press TV on Friday.

On Thursday, a GBU-43/B Massive Ordnance Air Blast Bomb (MOAB), also known as the "mother of all bombs," was dropped on a tunnel complex allegedly used by Daesh (ISIL) militants in Nangarhar province by an MC-130 aircraft, operated by US Air Force Special Operations Command, according to the Pentagon.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The American elections have become, in and of themselves, irrelevant, because voting Americans have only once choice; that of which of the two "deep state" candidates they will elect.

President Trump has been co-opted into the American deep state line about every action he is taking, from bombing Syria, to starting a war with North Korea.

President Trump is just a populist mask for the American Deep State in operation, which means we are looking at more wars of aggression, and more economic destruction to this country, under his watch.

Russia calls for restraint amid North Korea-US crisis

Russia has urged all sides involved in the crisis in the Korean Peninsula to show "restraint", warning of any "provocative steps" amid reports of potential military confrontation between North Korea and the United States.

"Moscow is watching with great concern the escalation of tensions on the Korean peninsula," Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters on Friday.

"We call for restraint from all countries and warn countries not to pursue actions that could consist of any provocative steps."

Tensions between North Korea and the United States have increased over the past weeks. Washington has been concerned by North Korea’s nuclear tests, which Pyongyang believes act as deterrence against a potential invasion by the US or South Korea.

The United States has deployed a strike group, including a large aircraft carrier, to the Korean Peninsula, and North Korea has said it is ready for war.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Russia, generally one of the "adults in the room in the bowels of geopolitical power" is entirely correct to be concerned.

There is a hard deadline against which President Trump, and his military advisors are working, and that is the South Korean presidential election, which happens on 9 May; that's less than a month away.

If South Korea elects a president who is pro the "sunshine policy" with North Korea, they are going to push back against any military confrontation against North Korea; that is why President Trump and his advisors, feel compelled to do any military action against North Korea sooner rather later, while South Korea is under the control of a relatively weak, "caretaker government!"

Dozens of more US troops dispatched to Somalia

The US military has dispatched dozens of troops to Somalia on a mission allegedly aimed at training the African country’s forces to confront terrorist groups.

A US military official said on Thursday that about 40 soldiers from the US Army's 101st Airborne Division had been deployed to Somalia as part of an effort to enhance the capabilities of local forces in their fight against terrorism.

"United States Africa Command will conduct various security cooperation and/or security force assistance events in Somalia in order to assist our allies and partners," said Pat Barnes, the US Africa Command (AFRICOM) spokesman.

Barned added that the troops had arrived in the Somali capital of Mogadishu on April 2 from the Fort Campbell army base in the US state of Kentucky, and were carrying out a train-and-equip mission expected to continue until the end of September.

The official claimed that the deployment had been at the request of Somalia’s government.

Webmaster's Commentary:

What the US military is doing in Somalia is what it typically does in other countries; arranging for the expropriation of natural resources to which the US government has absolutely no moral right; insuring that its government is US/Western-centric, even if that involves regime change, and insuring that those resources are only sold in US dollars.

And if you want to see why the US military is in Somalia, you need go no further than the following article:

US May Launch Preemptive Strike On North Korea Ahead Of Nuclear Test

With just two days to go until North Korea's "Day of the Sun" celebrations, when as reported yesterday it may conduct its 6th nuclear test at the Punggye-ri Nuclear Test Site, NBC reports citing multiple senior U.S. intelligence officials that in the latest stepwise escalation, the U.S. is prepared to launch a preemptive strike with conventional weapons against North Korea should officials become convinced that Kim Jong-Un's nation North Korea is about to follow through with a nuclear weapons test. Donald Trump: Just Another Neocon Warmonger

“Talk is cheap” is a phrase that politicians teach us constantly. This time the teacher is Donald Trump. Donald Trump campaigned as an outsider, someone that was not owned by the establishment, and someone who would fight the globalists and drain “the swamp.” But “talk is cheap.”

In 2013, AFTER Syrian President Bashar al-Assad was accused of using sarin gas against his own countrymen, Trump tweeted, “What will we get for bombing Syria besides more debt and a possible long term conflict? Obama needs Congressional approval.” (August 29) And, “Obama’s war in Syria has the potential to widen into a worldwide conflict.” (September 5) And, “Forget Syria and make America great again.” (September 11) And, again, “We should . . . stay out of Syria and other countries that hate us, rebuild our own country and make it strong and great again--USA!” (September 12)

Trump May Send Up To 50,000 Troops To Syria

It appears that Mike Cernovich, who earlier this week wrote that Trump's national security advisor, Gen. H.R.McMaster, was planning on sending as many as 150,000 troops to Syria, may have been right again. According to Bloomberg commentator Eli Lake, who has now made a habit of confirming Cernovich "conspiracy theories" (he did so previously with the Susan Rice scoop), Trump may be on the verge of escalating the proxy war in Syria by sending anywhere between 10,000 and 50,000 troops on the ground, and - if Cernovich is indeed correct - as much as three times more.

Webmaster's Commentary:

IF these reports are true, and ground troops are dispatched to Syria, this will almost inevitably lead to war with Russia.

The 'Smoking-Gun' Quote From The Postol Report On The Recent Syrian Gas-Attack

After detailed decimation of President Trump’s ‘intelligence’ ‘justifying’ his invasion of Syria, the MIT specialist on such intelligence-analysis, Dr. Theodore Postol, concludes:

I have worked with the intelligence community in the past, and I have grave concerns about the politicization of intelligence that seems to be occurring with more frequency in recent times – but I know that the intelligence community has highly capable analysts in it. And if those analysts were properly consulted about the claims in the White House document they would have not approved the document going forward.

I am available to expand on these comments substantially. I have only had a few hours to quickly review the alleged White House intelligence report. But a quick perusal shows without a lot of analysis that this report cannot be correct, and it also appears that this report was not properly vetted by the intelligence community.

This is a very serious matter.

‘Al-Qaeda is On Our Side in Syria’ — Email Shows Clinton Knew US Worked With Terrorists

Sullivan was widely rumored to be a front-runner for the position of U.S. National Security Advisor under a Hillary Clinton administration before she lost to Donald Trump in the 2016 Presidential Election. He was also Deputy Assistant to the U.S. President Barack Obama and National Security Advisor to U.S. Vice President Joe Biden.

He also served as the Director of Policy Planning at the U.S. Department of State, and as Deputy Chief of Staff to U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton. He was deputy policy director for Hillary Clinton’s 2008 presidential primary campaign and a member of the debate preparation team for Barack Obama’s general election campaign.

For all intents and purposes, it is safe to call Sullivan a well-connected D.C. insider.

Now, according to a recently discovered email from WikiLeaks, he knew the US was working alongside Al-Qaeda in Syria — and, by proxy, so did then-Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton.

How Military Decisions Are REALLY Made

Here’s how the U.S. actually makes decisions on when to go to war:

First. Decisions are made based – not upon defense – but upon gaining economic and geostrategic advantage.

For example, America has a policy of using the military to contain China’s growing economic influence – and of considering economic rivalry to be a basis for war.

And many recent battles are really pipeline wars.

On April 11th, the White House released a “declassified four-page report” on the alleged chemical weapons attack in the village of Khan Shaykhun in the Syrian province of Idlib.

The United States accuses the Syrian and Russian governments of providing disinformation and “false narratives” regarding the attack, adding that Washington is sure that the Assad government is responsible for the attack.

US Vice President’s Visit to Seoul to Send ‘Clear Message’ to Pyongyang

South Korea hopes to send a clear message to its' northern neighbor during the visit of US VP Michael Pence, spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Cho June-hyuck said on Wednesday.

South Korea hopes to send a clear message to North Korea during the visit of US Vice President Michael Pence, spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Cho June-hyuck said on Wednesday.

"As Vice President Pence's South Korean visit comes at a very sensitive time… A clear message on joint efforts in terms of the South Korea-U.S. alliance against North Korea will be sent out," the spokesman said, as quoted by the Yonhap news agency, stressing that this will be the first visit by Pence to Asia since taking office.

Webmaster's Commentary:

One thing appears to be driving the US government's rush to war against North Korea; South Koreans go to the polls on 9 May to elect a new president. At the moment, there is a caretaker, transitional government in place until the results of the election are made known.

The last thing President Trump and his military advisors want is having to deal with a duly elected South Korean President, who wants to observe the "sunshine policy" of cooperation and trade with North Korea.

That's part of what is driving this furious rush to war, which appears to me to be happening sooner rather than later.

In fact, I would not be surprised if Trump ordered an attack on North Korea right after Easter Sunday, when Vice-President Pence will be spending the day with US troops in South Korea.

US Airstrike on North Korea Risks Leading to '5-6 Chernobyl-Type Disasters'

If Washington decides to carry out a unilateral military action against Pyongyang, the attack could lead to a nuclear disaster affecting the entire Korean Peninsula, Director of the Center of South Korean Studies at the Institute of Far Eastern Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences Alexander Zhebin told Sputnik.

"Approximately 30 nuclear power plants are operational in South Korea. Several of them could be destroyed even if conventional bombs and shells are used. This could lead to five-six Chernobyl-type disasters on a relatively small area of 99 square kilometers that could instantly turn into a place unsuitable for life," he explained.

‘Riskier than striking Syria’: Beijing warns US against attacking North Korea

China has warned the US against using military force against North Korea, after a surprise redeployment of an aircraft carrier group. Washington’s regional allies said they expect it to consult with them before any action.
Tension is mounting in the region as US President Donald Trump said he would solve the “North Korean problem” with or without China’s help. The warning came amid the diversion of the aircraft carrier group ‘USS Carl Vinson’ to the Korean Peninsula and a week after Trump ordered the US Navy to fire a barrage of 59 Tomahawk missiles at a Syrian airbase as punishment for an alleged chemical attack in Idlib province.

Responding to US belligerence, Beijing called against using force against Pyongyang.

“Military force cannot resolve the issue,” Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi told reporters in Beijing. “Amid challenge there is opportunity. Amid tensions we will also find a kind of opportunity to return to talks.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

The Chinese assessment in this issue is bang spot on; North Korea could, potentially, visit a world of hurt upon South Korea, should it be attacked.

I, for one, am praying for cooler, more sane heads to prevail in the White House, and that talks with the US, China, and North and South Korea be revisited, and immediately.

Such talks should offer a true, detailed peace treaty to North Korea, to replace the existing armistice, with the quid pro quo being that North Korea stops its nuclear weapons program for that to happen.

Of course, this...would be logical.

State paper says China would protect a denuclearized North Korea

China would step up its protection of North Korea should the isolated state halt its nuclear program, an editorial in a state-backed newspaper said on Thursday, as Beijing tries to ease tensions on the Korean peninsula.

Pyongyang's continued nuclear and missile testing program has prompted the United States to send a navy carrier group to near the Korean peninsula in a show of force aimed at deterring more tests.

North Korea marks the 105th anniversary of the birth of state founder Kim Il Sung on Saturday, North Korea's biggest national day called "Day of the Sun". Leaders have in the past used the date to carry out weapons tests.

China, North Korea's main ally, has called for a peaceful resolution of the Korean tensions.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is a brilliant gambit, on the part of the Chinese government, but unfortunately, may well fall on deaf ears in Pyongyang.

The purpose of North Korea's nuclear weapons program is as a deterrent to potential military action against it by the United States; I seriously doubt the such an offer by the Chinese government will be entertained by Kim Jung Un, at this point, because he knows that the US military is about to strike it, and potentially hard.

TWISTED: According to bizarre Pentagon logic, Russia can now bomb the USA to stop vaccine violence against children

If you really look deeply at the “moral justification” behind the recent U.S. military strike in Syria, it all comes down to this simple argument: “Those children were being hurt by chemical violence, and we just HAD to do something to stop them!”

Therefore, according to the Pentagon, anytime a nation anywhere in the world believes another nation is doing something to harm its children with chemicals, they have the right to launch missile strikes, drop bombs or do anything necessary to stop what they see as an “chemical violence” against children.

No declaration of war is required. No United Nations resolutions are needed. There’s not even any requirement for a single shred of independent evidence to support the claim that “children are being harmed.” All that’s needed now is for a country to simply assert that they believe children are being harmed, and the bombs begin to fly!

‘Dream of generations’: Poland officially welcomes US contingent of NATO’s Russia-deterrent force

Poland has officially welcomed the US soldiers who will form the backbone of NATO’s multinational battalion in the country as part of the bloc's enhanced strategy to contain Russia. President Duda said it is something Poles have "dreamt of for generations.”

The American contingent of 900 troops, who arrived in Poland in March, will serve side by side on a rotational basis with 150 British and 120 Romanians soldiers in Orzysz.

Webmaster's Commentary:

This is delusional thinking, writ large, and thoroughly enabled by the US and NATO.

Why in the name of heaven would Putin want to invade Poland?!?

The short answer is, he wouldn't.

But it appears that NATO is pre-positioning troops and materials on, or close to, the Russian border, and there has to be an allegedly logical reason for this.

And their allegedly logical, ultimate reason for this is, a NATO war against Russia.

Yes, NATO, and the US government have gone utterly frothing-at-the-mouth, barking dog mad on this delusion, but that is why you are seeing this this huge expenditure in human and technical capital literally surrounding Russia at this time.

And in his recounting, Trump seemed positively wowed by his ability to use military force over dessert — “the most beautiful piece of chocolate cake that you've ever seen.” In fact, Trump mentioned “dessert” or “cake” five times while telling the story.

Despite US President Donald Trump hailed the first drop of "the Mother of all Bombs" in Afghanistan as "another success" of the American armed forces, military analysts doubt that the event will affect the course of the long-standing conflict in the country.

Meet the ‘Mother Of All Bombs’: 6 facts about bomb Trump dropped on Afghanistan

The weapon was first tested in March 2003, just before the US invasion of Iraq. The MOAB is descended from the BLU-82B 'Daisy Cutter,' a Vietnam-era bomb that weighed 15,000 pounds (6,800 kg) and was used to clear jungle and desert minefields. The weapon was used with devastating effect against Iraqi troops in 1991. The last of the 225 BLU-82s were expended by 2008 and officially replaced by the MOAB.

Why is Russia creating the biggest aircraft carrier in the world?

The new "Shtorm" aircraft carrier – a.k.a. Project 23E000E – will be included in Russia’s next armament program for the 2019 to 2025 period. The aircraft carrier will go into service in the navy by 2030 and experts say that its potential base will be Severomorsk (1,880 km north of Moscow).

During the campaign in Syria Moscow has realized the necessity of such a ship. Moscow sent the Admiral Kuznetsov aircraft carrier group to Syria’s shores, however, the ship has already done three decades of service and is on its last legs.

"On the Russian ship's deck there were about 30 planes, while an American aircraft carrier can carry up to 90. Also, the take-off speed on the Admiral Kuznetsov was a few minutes, while on an American aircraft carrier three planes can take off in one minute. Moreover, there are many tasks that the Russian ship cannot perform today. Therefore, Russia needs a new modern aircraft carrier," said a source from Russia’s defense industry.

'She had a breaking point like everyone else': Pioneering African American judge who 'committed suicide' was a 'stressed' at work cancer survivor whose brother and mother both killed themselves at Easter

A trailblazing New York state judge whose body was found floating in the Hudson River is thought to have taken her own life after her brother and mother both committed suicide around Easter two years apart from each other, police say.

The body of State Court of Appeals Judge Sheila Abdus-Salaam was retrieved fully clothed from the Hudson by the NYPD harbor unit on Wednesday - one day after her husband of less than a year reported her missing.

Abdus-Salaam, who was the first African-American woman to serve on New York state's highest court and a cancer survivor, began taking medication for 'darkening moods just a few weeks before her apparent suicide,' the New York Daily News reported.

Putin’s ‘Father Of All Bombs’ is FOUR TIMES more powerful than Trump’s 'Mother Of All Bombs' that killed 36 ISIS militants in Afghanistan

Vladimir Putin has a weapon four times more powerful than the US' monster bomb that killed 36 ISIS militants in Afghanistan.

The Mother Of All Bombs (MOAB), which belongs to the US Air Force, weighs a staggering 21,600lbs.

But the Russian version - called the Father Of All Bombs - weighs just 15,560lbs and is packed with the equivalent to 44 tons of explosive TNT.

This is four times more than the US' model which obliterates anything in its blast zone, which is twice that of the MOAB.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Okay, so the US dropped a $16,000,000 bomb (which you paid for) to kill 36 people inside a tunnel system the US built (which you paid for) during the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan. I wonder how they know it was 36 given that everything is buried deep underground. As for the tunnels, we could have just poured water from Flint Michigan into them and ruined them forever.

Trump Taps Salesman To Run Military Draft

Late Monday night, when many Americans were in bed, President Donald Trump quietly announced his intention to nominate former Washington state senator Don Benton (R) to be director of the Selective Service System, which operates the nation’s military draft.

This was when the problems first came to light.

They started with a White House statement that lauded Benton’s environmental record, and the three years he spent leading the Environmental Services Department in Clark County, Washington.

From the White House:

During his tenure [Benton], reduced the cost of removing hazardous waste from the waste stream while doubling citizen participation and tripling the tonnage of hazardous waste removed. Mr. Benton was also responsible for Clark County certifying more Green Schools than in any other county in Washington State.

Webmaster's Commentary:

I have long predicted that further US military entanglement in other countries, in order to expropriate foreign resources to which the US government has utterly no moral right, would necessitate a return to the the draft in the US.

Unfortunately, it appears that my prediction was correct, and I see this happening sooner, rather than later.

And so of course, President Trump IS going to need a "good salesman" to "resell" the draft to the American people; otherwise, it will be met with national fury and contempt.

Doctor charged with female genital mutilation of two 7-year-old Minnesota girls

Jumana Nagarwala, an emergency room physician at a Detroit hospital who performed the procedures at an unnamed medical clinic in the Detroit suburb of Livonia, was scheduled to appear in federal court on Thursday, April 13, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.

"Female genital mutilation constitutes a particularly brutal form of violence against women and girls," acting U.S. Attorney in Detroit Daniel Lemisch said in a statement. "The practice has no place in modern society and those who perform FGM on minors will be held accountable under federal law."

Female genital mutilation, or FGM, typically involves the partial or total removal of the clitoris and is barred by numerous international treaties.

China: World Must fix 'Historical Injustice' Against Palestine

On Thursday China's Foreign Minister, Wang Yi, said Palestinians must be able to build an independent state to correct a "historical injustice."

Wang noted that 70 years after the U.N. General Assembly passed Resolution 181 calling for the creation of an independent Palestine alongside Israel, Palestinians are still being denied their independence.

Fast forward a few years to peace prize laureate Barack Obama, who invaded Libya without Congressional approval in 2011. The U.S. war establishment downplayed America’s role in the Libyan war to try to justify its involvement yet conveniently missed the fact that America’s role was so integral it was deemed to be the “backbone” of any NATO offensive in the 2011 conflict.

Obama took these war powers further than any president before him. He waged covert wars and overt wars across so many countries that Bush and Clinton paled in comparison. In a six-year period, he bombed seven majority-Muslim countries. He also compiled a secret “kill list,” personally signing off on murders once a week. The weekly ceremony was aptly named “Terror Tuesdays.” During the tenure of Obama’s drone strike assassination program, he also terminated American citizens without trial.

Webmaster's Commentary:

We the People no longer have Congressional Representatives; they have become representatives of the powerful corporations which back, and shape, these ongoing, immoral and illegal wars, and profit from them immensely, as do those alleged Congressional Representatives, through outright graft and fat stock portfolios.

Congressional representatives should have their financial affairs in a blind trust, as does the President, but that will, unfortunately, will only happen when pigs discover their ability to fly.

Trump administration officials have been making stunning admissions in the days following the recent military strike on the Syrian government.

White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer experienced a Freudian slip when he accidentally said America’s goal in the region was to “destabilize Syria” — before he realized what he had said and attempted to backtrack. Then, he accidentally said it again. And just one day before Secretary of State Rex Tillerson left for Moscow, he told reporters the U.S. would come to the defense of innocent civilians “anywhere in the world.” Spicer elaborated on Tillerson’s sentiments.

“When you watch babies and children being gassed and suffer under barrel bombs, you are instantaneously moved to action,” the press secretary said. “I think this president’s made it very clear that if those actions were to continue, further action will definitely be considered by the United States.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

Sean Spicer and President Trump, a word here.

Apparently for you both, some suffering of children is "more equal" than others, because it can be used toward a specific geopolitical end.

So let's talk about about the US government-enabled Saudi assassinations of Yemeni children, shall we, as uncomfortable for you both as that may be, as this is the horror inflicted on children you don't want the world to see.

The Saudi military is routinely killing and maiming Yemeni children.

Images: dead and maimed Yemeni children from Saudi air strikes

The Saudis have blockaded Yemeni ports, to prevent food from getting in, so Yemeni children are dying the slow, painful death of malnutrition.

Images: Yemeni children dying of malnutrition, due to Saudi port blockades

And lastly, there has been an enormous spike in cancers, still births, and birth defects in Yemen, courtesy of the Saudis using depleted uranium weapons, which they got from either the US or the UK.

Images: Saudi military using depleted uranium weapons in Yemen

Images: Yemeni children with severe birth defects (warning:severely graphic)

So gentlemen, I have shown you, and the rest of our readership, the images the US government and military DO NOT WANT then American people to see; those images include the killing and maiming of Yemeni children from Saudi bombing runs; the face of slow starvation through malnutrition, caused by Saudi port blockades; images of the Saudis using depleted uranium weapons in Yemen; and the effects of depleted uranium on Yemeni children, suffering severe birth defects because of their having been poisoned in the womb by depleted uranium.

So please collectively forgive me if your "for the children" pitch rings more than hollow in Syria, as your "excuse" to bomb the military installation there.

It was simply geopolitically expedient to exploit the images of dead Syrian children you wanted the world to see, rather than the images of dead and dying Yemeni children you do not want the world to see.

Trump's Tax Reform to Help Companies Keep Trillions of Dollars in Offshore Funds

The fifty biggest US companies have now around 1.6 trillion dollars stashed in offshore tax havens, according to a new Oxfam analysis. The revelations come as US President Donald Trump plans to slash US taxes for corporations and wealthy individuals as well as impose a new border tax.

Trump Walks Into Syria Trap Via Fake ‘Intelligence’

Indeed, the “intelligence” assigning to Assad the responsibility for the sarin gas attack at Ghouta was very far from a slam-dunk: it was, in fact, a lie, a hoax, a false flag operation undertaken by the Islamist rebels and their Turkish allies who were desperate to draw the US into the Syrian civil war. Yes, sarin gas had been released at Ghouta, but, contrary to the “intelligence” provided to the President, it wasn’t the Syrian government that was responsible. As Seymour Hersh showed in a piece published in the London Review of Books, this was proved by “intercepted conversations in the immediate aftermath of the attack.”

New Front In White House Civil War as Kushner Asserts Authority at NSC

White House Senior Adviser Jared Kushner is leading an unprecedented effort to meddle in the White House's National Security Council, causing mayhem for senior staff who say the president's son-in-law is interfering in key foreign policy debates, according to Trump administration officials who spoke to the Washington Free Beacon.

McMaster, according to sources both inside and outside the White House who described Kushner's behavior as highly unusual and damaging to the country's national security infrastructure.

Never before has a White House permitted such a figure to intervene in the NSC, which is traditionally given leeway to investigate foreign policy matters and bring advice to the president.

Jacob Jeremiah Sullivan is an American policymaker and a senior policy advisor to Hillary Clinton’s 2016 election campaign, who’s been seemingly attached to Clinton’s hip for nearly a decade.

For all intents and purposes, it is safe to call Sullivan a well-connected D.C. insider.

Marine LePen Campaign HQ Firebombed in Arson Attack

Marine LePen’s presidential campaign headquarters were attacked early this morning in an arson attempt claimed by a leftist group calling itself ‘’Combat Xenophobia’’, which is threatening more attacks between now and the French presidential election.

A unit of Paris’ fire department extinguished the fire just before 3am on Rue de Faubourg St. Honoré, in Paris’ 8th arrondissement. The building, also housing an insurance company and residential apartments, sustained only minor damage at the entrance to the campaign office.

A police spokesman said that the fire was ‘’not natural’’ and ‘’probably of criminal origin’’. Graffiti was also daubed on the building.
