CNN Blames Existing Hot Deserts on “Climate Change”

Did Trump’s rejection of the Paris climate accord magically heat up the globe immediately with the stroke of his pen? The Paris climate accord was designed to weaken the US economy and make Americans dependent on global government, like vassals of a distant empire. If multinational banks are to control America, they can’t let her remain economically independent. -- Additionally, a wrath of wildfires in California blamed on “global warming” was found to be arson.

Snow derails bike race, but not unicyclists

Cyclists were supposed to mark the 25th anniversary of the Kluane-Chilkat International Bike Relay last weekend. But, for the first time ever, the nearly 150-mile race from the Yukon to Haines was cancelled when snow and slush compromised the safety of the course. Of the around 1,300 people registered, four braved the highly unusual summer snowstorm to complete the entire race. And, they did it on one wheel.

FLASHBACK - Al Gore Forecasted “Ice-Free” Arctic by 2013; Ice Cover Expands 50%

Self-styled “global-warming” guru Al Gore (shown) and a gaggle of supposed “climate scientists” have egg all over their faces — big time. In 2007, 2008 and 2009, Gore publicly and very hysterically warned that the North Pole would be “ice-free” by around 2013 because of alleged “man-made global warming.” Citing “climate” experts, the government-funded BBC hyped the mass hysteria, running a now-embarrassing article under the headline: “Arctic summers ice-free ‘by 2013’.” Other establishment media outlets did the same.

Industrial-Scale Battery Storage of Wind & Solar Power Does Not Exist & May Never Exist

With the world now alive to the fact that entirely weather dependent wind and solar power will never stand on their own 2 feet; and that intermittency really does matter, renewables rent-seekers have been banging on about mega-batteries saving the day.

Human Caused Global Warming COMPREHENSIVELY Debunked by Climatologist

Dr. Don J. Easterbrook, Professor Emeritus Western Washington University has studied climate for 5 decades. To my pleasure, he overwhelmingly manhandles the Senate Energy Environment & Telecommunications Committee. He hits all of the points of which I am aware and some more besides. We hear about everything from NASA/NOAA "adjusting" raw data to a lack of recent glacial melt to polar bears surviving through temperatures far warmer than those of today. He even addresses and waylays the "97% consensus" argument parroted by the global warming pundits.

I was so impressed with how Dr. Easterbrook dispassionately laid to waste the clearly slanted senate committee. In much the same way that Megyn Kelly was made a fool using logic and clearly superior intellect, Dr. Eastbrook's handling of this situation was masterful.

Climate change researchers cancel expedition because of climate change

A team of scientists had to abandon an expedition through Hudson Bay because of hazardous ice conditions off the coast of Newfoundland caused by climate change.

About 40 scientists from five Canadian universities were scheduled to use the icebreaker CCGS Amundsen for the first leg of a 133-day expedition across the Arctic. It's part of a $17-million, four-year project led by the University of Manitoba that looks at both the effects of climate change as well as public health in remote communities.

Their trip began May 25 in Quebec City, but due to bad ice conditions off the coast of Newfoundland, the icebreaker was diverted from its course to help ferries and fishing boats navigate the Strait of Belle Isle, said David Barber, a climate change scientist at the University of Manitoba and leader of the Hudson Bay expedition called BaySys.

Founder of Weather Channel Schools Stuttering CNN Anchor on Global Warming

I thought Ben Shapiro and Tucker Carlson were the masters of shutting down liberals and their irrational thinking…but I see now that I just hadn’t heard founder of the Weather Channel John Coleman speak.

I watched the clip below of Coleman spoke to a CNN anchor and it made my day so much that I had to watch it twice! The man brings out some GREAT points about the hoax of global warming.

According to Coleman, who is a scientist himself, the scientists who are coming out and agreeing with climate change are basically paid (or should I say bribed) to say they agree with global warming. This in return gives the Democrats fuel for their fire, and they continue to profit off the ignorance of the people.

“Science is about facts and if you get down to the cold hard facts, there’s no question about it. Climate change is not happening,” he continued, “It has become political, not scientific, [but] science is on my side.”

Nancy Pelosi Went Off The Deep End With These Strange Comments

Pelosi led the charge by claiming Trump’s move was an affront to God.

Real Clear Politics reports on her remarks:

“PELOSI: When the Pope went to the White House he talked about the dangers of air pollution when he was here. And just last week the Pope met with President Trump and gave him a copy of his Encyclical “Laudato Si,” which made the case for strong urgent action to halt the climate crisis.

The Pope wrote, “The climate is a common good belonging to all and meant for all.” The bible tells us to minister to the needs of God’s creation as an act of worship. To ignore those needs is to dishonor the God who made us and that is just what we’re doing by walking away from this accord.

The question I have for Donald Trump as a mother and a grandmother of five — and a grandmother of nine — how is he ever going to explain to his grandchildren what he did to the air they breathe? Assuming they breathe air. And I have to assume that is the case, we all do, right?”

80 Graphs From 58 New (2017) Papers Invalidate Claims Of Unprecedented Global-Scale Modern Warming

Last year there were at least 60 peer-reviewed papers published in scientific journals demonstrating that Today’s Warming Isn’t Global, Unprecedented, Or Remarkable.
.
Just within the last 5 months, 58 more papers and 80 new graphs have been published that continue to undermine the popularized conception of a slowly cooling Earth temperature history followed by a dramatic hockey-stick-shaped uptick, or an especially unusual global-scale warming during modern times.
.
Yes, some regions of the Earth have been warming in recent decades or at some point in the last 100 years. Some regions have been cooling for decades at a time. And many regions have shown no significant net changes or trends in either direction relative to the last few hundred to thousands of years.

The pros and cons of leaf abundance due to increased global carbon dioxide greening the Earth

A new global assessment reveals that increases in leaf abundance are causing boreal areas to warm and arid regions to cool. The results suggest that recent changes in global vegetation have had impacts on local climates that should be considered in the design of local mitigation and adaptation plans. A substantial portion of the planet is greening in response to increasing atmospheric carbon dioxide, nitrogen deposition, global warming and land use change. The increase in leafy green coverage, or leaf area index (LAI), will hold important implications for climate change feedback loops, yet quantifying these impacts on a global scale can be challenging. Here, Giovanni Forzieri and colleagues analyzed satellite data of global LAI coverage between 1982 and 2011.

JUST IN: Weather Channel Founder Backs Trump, Tells The TRUTH About Global Warming…

In a series of tweets and emails Coleman sent to Al Gore and various Democratic supporters and organizations, he called out climate alarmists with a barrage of facts based on actual science and not wishful thinking. As it turns out, if you chart global temperatures back into the ’70s, there are absolutely no signs of global warming.

There’s been less than one degree temperature change since 1978 and no warming to speak of since 1998. So where is the government getting their information from?

It turns out that the government has been manipulating climate computer models. This means that the American tax payers are being charged $4.7 billion a year in taxes that are being used to fund organizations that carry out meaningless studies based on bad science. Basically, the American people are paying fake scientists to lie to them.

Basically, the American people are paying fake scientists to lie to them.

Government actions to counter “carbon pollution” have raised the cost of fuel, electricity and food by an average of $1000 per year for an average American family of four. If that family of four would only open their Internet browsers and see that the Antarctic Sea is at an all time high and sea levels are rising at an “alarming” rate of around 6 inches per century, they would feel outraged that they’re being taken advantage of, at least one would hope.

Editorial: In ditching Paris deal, Trump does right by America and the world

In quitting the Paris Accord, President Trump on Thursday did nothing to shift the course of US environmental policy — not even on carbon emissions. But he did put the world on notice that no president can unilaterally commit this nation to such far-reaching agreements.

The Constitution is clear: No treaty is binding on the US government unless ratified by the Senate. That tanked the Kyoto Protocol, a 1997 anti-warming treaty that the Senate rejected 95-0. And it would’ve killed the Paris deal that President Obama signed in 2016 — except that his negotiators shaped an “agreement” that wouldn’t go to the Senate.

But one that still would’ve been used to rewrite US law, if the courts went along. (And a President Hillary Clinton’s judicial picks would have ensured that they did.)

Dilbert 1, Scientists 0

A communications group at Yale University has put out a video that seems to be a rebuttal to a Dilbert cartoon by Scott Adams poking fun at climate scientists and their misplaced confidence in models. The video is full of impressive-looking scientists talking about charts and data and whatnot. It probably cost a lot to make and certainly involved a lot of time and effort. The most amazing thing, however, is that it actually proves the points being made in the Dilbert cartoon. Rather than debunking the cartoon, the scientists acted it out in slow motion.

Updated data from NASA satellite instruments reveal the Earth’s polar ice caps have not receded at all since the satellite instruments began measuring the ice caps in 1979. Since the end of 2012, moreover, total polar ice extent has largely remained above the post-1979 average. The updated data contradict one of the most frequently asserted global warming claims – that global warming is causing the polar ice caps to recede.

UN Chief: Climate-Aware Businesses Will Dominate Tomorrow’s Economy

(don't be fooled - The REAL definition of Global Warming:
Vladimir Lenin said, “A lie told often enough becomes the truth.” Hitler followed suit: “If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed.” The world has believed the UN’s lies now accepts them as truth. This is the grand Technocrat delusion. ? TN Editor

Antonio Guterres, who took over the reins from Ban Ki-Moon at the start of the year, described climate change as the “defining element of our time”. In an interview with Channel 4 news this week, the former Portuguese Prime Minister warned the world could ill-afford to waste any more time on reversing the impacts of global warming.

“Climate change is, to an extent, the defining element of our time,” he said. “These are critical moments. We know that either we act now or we will create irreversible damage to our planet that will make our grandchildren suffer a lot.”

CHELSEA CLINTON’S MOST ASININE: CHILD MARRIAGE IS A RESULT OF CLIMATE CHANGE

It’s always a good day when the political elites say something so asinine that even their own followers have no option but to roll their eyes. When Chelsea Clinton opens her mouth, it’s usually been to pay homage to her parents and her savior, Barack Obama. But this time, we get a little more evidence that she’s gone off the deep end.

Chelsea Clinton said that “climate change” and “child marriage” are “interconnected” issues on Monday.

Late Winter Storm Ground to Sky Lightning with Record Cold & Snow

With atmospheric changes expected during the grand solar minimum intensification and the inter-tropical convergence zone shifting, strange occurrences in our skies are to be expected. Here we go, Ground to Sky Lightning, but the media blames it on mobile phone towers. Also record cold and snow records broken during the latest storm on record with the greatest snow depths back to 1880's. Also I included the newest research I have on the timeline and intensification for the grand solar minimum.

Scott Adams: The Time I Nudged Climate Scientists into Debunking their Own Models

If you have been reading this blog and following me on Periscope, you know I announced I was going to use my own powers of persuasion to nudge climate scientists into doing a better job of communicating their side of things. The climate models are the least-credible thing scientists do, and yet scientists have been using their models as their featured evidence. No matter which side you are on with the climate change debate, you don’t want either side using their weakest argument. You want both sides to do their best so we can accurately judge who has the strongest thinking. To that end, I framed the “climate models” as being necessarily incomplete because you really need economic models to decide how to react to climate change, not scientific models. And long-term economic models have zero credibility. Even scientists would agree on that point.

Peer-reviewed science journal gets HOAXED by fake science paper that claims PENISES cause climate change

Remember when I said recently that the entire left-wing scientific establishment has become convinced that everything causes climate change? My assertion has now been confirmed beyond any doubt.

A peer-reviewed science journal has just been caught publishing a hilariously fake science paper — written in leftish-sounding “sciency gibberish” — that literally claims penises cause climate change.

Because this junk science assertion fits into the lunatic narrative of the totalitarian Left, it was reviewed by multiple scientists and accepted for publication, even though the entire paper was deliberately written to consist of indecipherable nonsense pretending to sound like elitist left-wing “science.”

Harsh Cold, Not Russia US Marines' Enemy in Norway

Hundreds of soldiers from the US Marine Corps landed in Norway earlier this year to protect the Nordic country from the perceived Russian threat. However, they were faced with a more extreme (and real) threat, which they so far have no answer to.

US Marines from the Værnes garrison that took part in the exercise Joint Viking near the Norwegian-Russian border found their cold-weather gear unfit for the extreme Nordic cold and may be facing an equipment overhaul. The drills held in the snow-covered barren Arctic landscape helped reveal crucial deficiencies in the US Marines' equipment.

Atlantic Begins to Cool, Icebergs Abound & Global Warming Can't Explain Cosmic Cycles

With the Atlantic Multi-decadal Oscillation beginning its 30 year cooling phase in the 60 year cycle, near record iceberg sightings dot the Canadian coastline. Excuses are give such as the Peterman Glacier developing a crack, the ice on Greenland calving as new ice builds in the center, any excuse except the real cause, a cosmic cycle. Scientists Found A ‘Totally Unexpected’ Source Of Climate Cooling

Arctic waters absorbed vast amounts of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, creating a cooling effect that’s 230 times greater than the warming from methane emitted from underwater seeps, according to a new study.

The findings are a complete reversal of what scientists previously believed — that methane seeps in the Arctic Ocean were contributing to global warming.

“If what we observed near Svalbard occurs more broadly at similar locations around the world, it could mean that methane seeps have a net cooling effect on climate, not a warming effect as we previously thought,” John Pohlman, a U.S. Geological Survey biochemist and lead author of the study, said in a statement Monday.

April weather deepened mountain snowpack

We had to endure a cloudier, cooler and somewhat showery April. Then, as we moved through the first week of May, we saw some hope that warmer and sunnier weather is possible this time of year.

That last week in April, though, had us thinking that maybe winter was going to continue for a while longer, especially in the mountains.

With ski areas already closed for the season, a series of cold storm systems produced between 2 and 3 feet of snow in the mountains between April 25 and 27. That had skiers and boarders back out in the mountains making late-spring powder turns. The parking lot at Teton Pass looked like a busy day in January.

Delingpole: And So It Begins, Trump’s Great Climate Purge…

EPA administrator Scott Pruitt – perhaps stung by criticisms that he was turning into a squish – today reaffirmed, in an interview with CNBC, that he is not a believer in catastrophic man-made global warming.

“I think that measuring with precision human activity on the climate is something very challenging to do and there’s tremendous disagreement about the degree of impact. So no, I would not agree that it’s a primary contributor to the global warming that we see. But we don’t know that yet…”

This new boldness coincides with a purge of warmist scientific advisers at both the EPA and the Interior Department.

Winter weather hits Kansas

Typically we get a Kansas frost fear event during the spring season. The wheat complex got that and more this week as a system dumped heavy snows over western Kansas and eastern Colorado the weekend of April 29-30. Kansas City contracts traded near limit up in May 1 trade with 29-cent gains. A member of the Kansas Wheat Commission stated, "We lost the western Kansas wheat crop this weekend."

Heavy snows lodged winter wheat that was ahead of normal growing pace. Thirty two percent of the crop was headed compared to 23 percent for the five-year average so concern remains that even the areas that escaped the heavy snow could have experience yield loss with temperatures that were well below freezing.
