Syria is the Middle Eastern Stalingrad

Day and night, for years, an overwhelming force has been battering this quiet nation, one of the cradles of human civilization.
Hundreds of thousands have died, and millions have been forced to flee abroad or have been internally displaced. In many cities and villages, not one house is left intact.

But Syria is, against all odds, still standing.

Israel And Its Lobby Lose The Iran Deal All Over Again, In News Of Damning Wiretaps

The wiretaps reveal that Israeli officials were up to their necks in the US political process; they “coordinated talking points with Jewish-American groups against the deal; and asked undecided lawmakers what it would take to win their votes.

Iranian MPs Call for Gov't's Firm Stance against US Violation of JCPOA

A group of Iranian lawmakers in a letter to President Hassan Rouhani underlined that the US has violated the ear deal through its recent declaration of new sanctions against Iran, and urged the government to show an urgent official stance in response. The lawmakers' letter came in reaction to the US officials' remarks about imminent sanctions against firms and individuals in Iran, Hong Kong and the United Arab Emirates over alleged links to Iran’s ballistic missile program. "We call for the Iranian government's official stance against the recent anti-Iran measures of the US," the Iranian MPs said in their letter. "As the representative of the Iranian people, we feel duty-bound to thank you for your orders to order the development of the country's missile program in reaction to the US hostile policies against Iran," the lawmakers added.

Iran to Speed Up Development of Missile Program despite US Threats

"Today the Americans speak about Iran's missile development program and they want to impose new sanctions on Iran; we tell the Americans that we will further expedite enhancement of our missile capabilities as long as they massacre the Palestinian children, as long as they bury Yemen's oppressed children in their houses, as long as they displace the Muslim nation of Syria, as long as they attack the houses of the Pakistanis, as long as they occupy the Islamic lands and as long as they support the Zionist regime to bomb Lebanon, Palestine and Syria," General Salami said, addressing the pre-sermon speech of Tehran's Friday prayers.

US plans to introduce sanctions over Iran’s ballistic missile program — media

Washington will soon impose sanctions against certain companies and individuals for their alleged role in developing Tehran’s ballistic missile program, The Wall Street Journal has reported. The first financial sanctions on Iran since the landmark Vienna nuclear deal in July will target at least a dozen of companies and individuals in Iran, the United Arab Emirates and Hong Kong suspected of ties with Iran’s entities involved in missile development. The planned action will envisage a ban on the US companies to have ties with the blacklisted firms. "US banks are also ordered to freeze any assets the companies or individuals hold inside the American financial system," the report says.

RUBIO OUTRAGED BY SPYING ON ISRAEL’S GOVERNMENT, OK WITH MASS SURVEILLANCE OF AMERICANS

On Wednesday, the Wall Street Journal revealed that the Obama administration had spied on the Israeli government and, in the process, roped in communications the Netanyahu administration had with members of the U.S. Congress.

This news sparked a denunciation by Florida Senator and Republican presidential candidate Marco Rubio. “Obviously people read this report, they have a right to be concerned this morning about it,” said Rubio on Fox News Wednesday morning. “They have a right to be concerned about the fact that while some leaders around the world are no longer being targeted, one of our strongest allies in the Middle East – Israel – is. I actually think it might be worse than what some people might think, but this is an issue that we’ll keep a close eye on, and the role that I have in the intelligence committee.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

I love the smell of roasted irony in the morning!!

For this man, it's OK for the US government to surveille its citizens, and even it's congressional representatives, but NOT ISRAEL!!

And that statement that US surveillance programs "..have not been systematically abused." is such a window on this person's thought process, that I barely know where to begin!!

Iran denies it fired rockets near US aircraft carrier in Gulf, brands claim 'psychological warfare'

Tehran has officially denied that its Revolutionary Guards’ patrol vessel launched rockets in imminent proximity to the USS Harry S. Truman and its convoy entering the Persian Gulf, calling the allegation an act of “psychological warfare.”

On Tuesday, reports emerged that last Saturday the US aircraft carrier was intimidated after missiles were launched by an Iranian patrol vessel on a parallel course with the American naval convoy.

If the carrier Harry S Truman is intimidated by an Iranian patrol boat, the problem is with the USS Harry S Truman!

Iranian president wants to expand missile program in response to US sanctions

Iran is set to expand its missile program in response to the US threat to introduce new sanctions, President Hassan Rouhani said, according to Iranian news agency IRNA.

Iran needs to step up its missile capabilities in response to aggressive actions by the US, which threatens to impose more sanctions over a missile test that Iran held in October, Rouhani wrote in a letter addressed to Defense Minister Hossein Dehghan. The president says Iran has a right to continue developing its missiles since they are not capable of carrying nuclear warheads.

US Said to Be Preparing New Sanctions Against Iran

In July, negotiations between Iran and the P5+1 nations, including France, Russia, the United States, the United Kingdom, China, and Germany, led to a historic deal. Under the terms of the deal, after providing assurances that it was not enriching uranium to pursue a nuclear weapon, international sanctions against Iran would be gradually lifted.

Iran Makes ‘Significant Progress’ in Completing Nuclear Deal Commitments
But on Wednesday, US officials, speaking on condition of anonymity, revealed that the US Treasury Department is prepared to roll out new sanctions against companies and individuals not only in Iran, but also in Hong Kong and the United Arab Emirates, according to the Wall Street Journal.

He reiterated that the manufacture and successful testing of Emad missile is a technological and operational jump in a strategic field, and said, "We don’t ask for anyone's permission for boosting our defense and missile power; we resolutely continue our defense programs, specially in the missile field, and Emad missile is a conspicuous example."

NSA Spied on Netanyahu’s Office - Reports

The US National Security Agency (NSA) tapped into conversations between Israeli and American officials in order to figure out how to counter the campaign of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu against a deal with Iran on its nuclear program, The Wall Street Journal reports.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The NSA eavesdropped on conversations between Netanyahu and his aides, US and Israeli officials, as well as American-Jewish groups, the newspaper said on Tuesday citing former and current US intelligence and administration officials.

One tool used by the NSA was a "cyber implant in Israeli networks" that enabled the US security agency to access communications within Netanyahu’s office, The Wall Street Journal said.

Webmaster's Commentary:

You can safely bet that Israeli security experts are scrambling to remove whatever the US intelligence services got into their communications equipment, and right the heck now.

You can also bet that Netanyahu isn't going to be very happy about these revelations at all, and is most probably contemplating a rather serious and spectacular revenge against President Obama to punish him for having done this, if he thinks he can "get away" with it.

"The operation to exchange 197 tons of so called yellowcake [uranium concentrate used as fuel for reactor] from Russia for almost 11 tons of enriched uranium has been completed," the IRNA news agency quoted Ali Akbar Salehi as saying. The key provision of the agreement negotiated by Iran with P5+1 (the United States, Britain, China, France, Russia and Germany is Tehran's commitment to reduce its stockpile of low-enriched uranium to below 300 kg. Iran will be selling any excess amounts of its enriched uranium to keep its stockpile under 300 kilograms. In exchange, Iran has the right to buy uranium ore or its concentrate on the market.

Will Iran, China, Russia Push US Dollar to the Brink of Extinction?

Iran is moving forward to get rid of the US dollar as a means of payment, independent researcher Timothy Alexander Guzman points out, adding that Washington has obviously shot itself in the foot by imposing sanctions on Moscow and Tehran.

The supremacy of the US dollar is in danger: more and more countries around the world are seeking to replace the American currency, independent researcher and writer Timothy Alexander Guzman notes, pointing to a series of Russo-Iranian agreements aimed at stopping mutual settlements in US dollars with foreign countries.

Both Saddam Hussein and Muammar Gaddafi openly declared their commitment to replace the dollar with the euro and a 'single African currency' backed by gold, respectively, for oil transactions and foreign trade. As a result, both had been toppled and killed.

Predictably, Washington is panicking.

Hillary Clinton Touts Overthrow of Gadhafi, but Doesn’t Mention That Clinton Foundation Donors Did Big Business in Tyrant’s Libya

On Saturday, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton again justified the 2011 U.S. policy of regime change in Libya, citing, at least in part, the fact that dictator Moammar Gadhafi had killed Americans.

“We have to continue to do what is necessary when someone like Gadhafi, a despot with American blood on his hands, is overturned,” Clinton said during the weekend’s Democratic presidential debate in Manchester, New Hampshire. “But I’ll tell you what would have happened if we had not joined with our European partners and our Arab partners to assist the people in Libya, you would be looking at Syria.”

But early in the administration, Clinton had championed an allegiance with the Libyan regime under Gadhafi, during a time when some of the major U.S. corporations doing business in Libya were also donating heavy sums to the Clinton Foundation.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Do not for a moment imagine that this "pay to play" mentality will suddenly leave her consciousness, if she is able to win (or steal) the election; it will simply continue, unabated. For her and Bill Clinton, inhabiting the White House is simply another way to make millions of dollars through her foundation, and the public be damned.

And this is why we have to bring her past behaviour to the unblinking gaze of documented fact, because, if in fact, past is prologue to the future, we can expect massive international interventionism from a second Clinton presidency.

And has anyone out there had the "male attributes" to ask her if the current post-Ghadaffi situation in Libya, which has been rife with civil war since 2011; whose leadership has been badly factionalised and has just this month created a basis for a national unity government, was the outcome she desired when she green-lit Ghadaffi's assassination?!?

And what about the reality that Libya has become a
second home to ISIS?!?

Because if all I have stated here were not the outcomes Clinton desired as Secretary of State, and were simply "unintended consequences" of her policies here, please consider Libya a thoroughly terrifying, but very real, "prequel" to what a Clinton presidency will look like.

Iran Is Hacking the Power Grid: The Ultimate Terrorist Attack

Natural disasters. Nuclear attacks. Long-term grid collapse. Water shortages. An economic crash.

Those are the normal topics of conversation when preppers think about end-of-the-world-as-we-know-it events. But it's entirely possible the event that we never really thought about has been quietly gearing up, right under our noses. Maybe the real SHTF event is the ultimate terror attack - a cyber attack on the grid.

Earlier this week, the AP released a chilling investigative report about the vulnerability of our power grid to foreign hacks. In fact, according to this report, the grid isn't just vulnerable - it's already been under attack.

Speaking to reporters in Tehran on Monday, Foreign Ministry Spokesman Hossein Jaber Ansari referred to the May 2010 killing of 10 Turkish activists on board the Mavi Marmara ship by an Israeli raid on the six-ship flotilla and the darkening of bilateral ties between Ankara and Tel Aviv at the time, and said despite the incident, ties between the two sides still continued. He warned Turkey about attempts to resume relations with Israel, and said, "The Muslim governments should adopt policies which meet their and the Islamic Ummah's interests as well as the rights of the Palestinian nation." Four Russian Fighter Jets to Escort President Assad's Plane in Visit to Tehran

"Four strategic Russian fighter jets will accompany the plane carrying the Syrian president during the visit to and from Iran," the Lebanese al-Diyar daily reported on Sunday.

"The US-led international coalition's air command has been warned not to approach Bashar Assad's plane to avoid engagement," it said.

Informed sources said on Friday that President Assad is slated to visit Iran in late December or early January.

Iranian Hackers Infiltrated Computers That Control New York Dam

Iranian hackers breached the control system of a dam near New York City in 2013, an infiltration that raised concerns about the security of the country's infrastructure, the Wall Street Journal reported on Monday, citing former and current U.S. officials.
Two people familiar with the breach told the newspaper it occurred at the Bowman Avenue Dam in Rye, New York. The small structure about 20 miles from New York City is used for flood control.
The hackers gained access to the dam through a cellular modem, the Journal said, citing an unclassified Department of Homeland Security summary of the incident that did not specify the type of infrastructure.
The dam is a 20-foot-tall concrete slab across Blind Brook, about five miles from Long Island Sound.
"It's very, very small," Rye City Manager Marcus Serrano told the newspaper. He said FBI agents visited in 2013 to ask the city's information-technology manager about a hacking incident.

Webmaster's Commentary:

And the absolute, incontrovertible proof that this was actually the fault of the Iranian government exists.....where?!?

And if this incident actually happened in 2013, why is it being reported now?!? To vilify the Iranian government and the Iranian people?!?

If something this completely sloppy passes for alleged "news" at Reuters, the executive leadership should resign, en masse.

Iran sees Israeli lobby behind U.S. visa waiver changes

Iran's foreign ministry said on Monday that Israeli lobbying was behind a new measure passed by the U.S. Congress that will prevent visa-free travel to the United States for people who have visited Iran or hold Iranian nationality.

The measure, which President Barack Obama signed into law on Friday, also applies to Iraq, Syria and Sudan, and was introduced as a security measure following the Islamic State attacks in Paris and similar attacks in San Bernardino.

You Want War? Russia is Ready for War

Nobody needs to read Zbigniew Brzezinski’s “Grand Chessboard” 1997 opus to know US foreign policy revolves around one single overarching theme: prevent – by all means necessary – the emergence of a power, or powers, capable of constraining Washington’s unilateral swagger, not only in Eurasia but across the world.

The Pentagon carries the same message embedded in newspeak: the Full Spectrum Dominance doctrine.

Russian intel has certainly played all possible scenarios involving a NATO Turkish army on the Turkish-Syrian border as well as the possibility of Ankara closing the Bosphorus and the Dardanelles for the Russian “Syria Express”. Erdogan may not be foolish enough to offer Russia yet another casus belli. But Moscow is taking no chances.

Webmaster's Commentary:

The event to which Mr. Escobar alludes is the assassination of the Archduke Franz Ferdinand, and his wife, Princess Sophie of Hohenberg, which triggered World War 1.

It certainly appears to me that the US government is slouching toward initiating World War III, because war was the saviour of the US economy in World War 1 and World War 11.

However, those in Sodom on the Potomac seem to have forgotten, utterly, that because the US military doesn't have the money, the manufacturing, or the troop strength to insure a positive outcome in a conventional military confrontation with Russia, that the conflict will most likely go nuclear in a heartbeat; and that is why the military option against Russia is so scarily dangerous.

Iran has not invaded another country in a war of conquest in over 200 years. Syria - The Ultimate Pipelineistan War

It all started in 2009, when Qatar proposed to Damascus the construction of a pipeline from its own North Field – contiguous with the South Pars field, which belongs to Iran – traversing Saudi Arabia, Jordan and Syria all the way to Turkey, to supply the EU.

Damascus, instead, chose in 2010 to privilege a competing project, the $10 billion Iran-Iraq-Syria, also known as "Islamic pipeline". The deal was formally announced in July 2011, when the Syrian tragedy was already in motion. In 2012, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed with Iran.

Hillary Clinton: U.S.-Israel Relationship “Essential” in Combating Iran’s Regional Ambitions

In addition to her reported remarks about taking the U.S.-Israel relationship “to the next level,” former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton on Sunday called for a “strengthened” relationship between the two countries based on their common interest in fighting Iranian aggression.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Iranian aggression?!? Since the 1979 Iranian revolution and the downfall of the US Puppet Ruler the Shah, Iran has been an Islamic state. In that interval of time, 1979 to the present, Iran has not invaded anyone. Not once. In fact Iran has not launched a war of aggression against another nation in 200 years. War is not their nature. People of all religions live in peace in Iran, even Jews, who find life so comfortable in Iran they refused an offer by the government of Israel to emigrate!

In the same period of time, Israel, a self-declared Jewish state, attacked Iraq in 1981, bombing the power station at Osirik, claiming it was a clandestine weapons factory. Subsequent examination of the ruins following the 2003 invasion proved Israel had lied. In 1982, Israel invaded Lebanon. This led to the Massacres at Sabra and Shatilla. In February 2003 Israel staged incursions into Gaza and Nablus. In September 2007 Israel bombed Syria, again insisting they were destroying a clandestine weapons laboratory. Again there was no evidence to support Israel's claims. In 2006, Israel attacked Lebanon, killing 1200, mostly civilians, several UN observers, and littering the landscape with land mines on their way out. In February 2008 Israel again raided Gaza, killing over 100. HAMAS agreed to a cease fire and kept it for 6 months until November 4, when Israel again attacked without warning, killing 6 HAMAS members, and launching operation CAST LEAD. 1300 Gazans, mostly civilians, were killed. Israel lost 13 soldiers. Violations of international law included the use of White Phosphorus incendiary bombs against civilians and non-military targets. The United Nations investigated, but Israel refused to cooperate. In May 2010, Israel attacked an international aid flotilla bringing food and medical supplies to Gaza in international waters. 9 people were murdered including an American from New York. In June 2014, citing as their excuse the murder of three teenagers in the West Bank (which even the West Bank police said were not linked to HAMAS), Israel launched operation PROTECTIVE EDGE, bombing Gaza into rubble, again refusing to cooperate with UN investigators, and ultimately refusing to keep to the terms of the cease fire.

From the Ground Up: World Can’t Afford to Downplay ISIL Oil Trade

Just like Russia, Iran says it has detailed evidence that shows Turkey is involved in purchase of oil from ISIL. According to Secretary of Expediency Council Mohsen Rezaei, "Iranian military advisors in Syria have taken photos and filmed all the routes used by ISIL's oil tankers to Turkey; these documents can be published. If the Turkish government is not aware of ISIL's oil sales in their country, we can provide it with such intelligence." These are serious allegations that the world can no longer afford to downplay. In fact, the evidence to the allegations is so huge that it has forced the United States and Europe, which are in the refugee-creation business and their priority is to topple the Syrian government, to change their tune - after previous denials. Still, there is a problem with the way the regime changers are presenting it. On one hand, they admit Turkey is involved in buying ISIL oil and taking it to refineries run by the Turkish government.

Iran, P5+1 agree draft IAEA resolution closing Iran’s nuclear dossier — Russian diplomat

The P5+1 group of international mediators, namely the five permanent members of the United Nations Security Council and Germany, and Iran have agreed a draft resolution for a December 15 session of the board of governors of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) that will make it possible to actually close Teheran’s nuclear dossier and begin the implementation phase, Russia’s permanent representative at the Vienna-based international organizations Vladimir Voronkov said on Monday... Voronkov said earlier on Monday Russia and Iran would complete the removal of enriched uranium from Iran in exchange for natural one by the end of the year.

Leader’s Top Aide: Bashar Assad Iran’s Redline

Iranian Supreme Leader's Top Adviser for International Affairs Ali Akbar Velayati underlined that no foreign state is entitled to decide for Syria’s fate, and said Syrian President Bashar al-Assad is Tehran’s redline. “Bashar Assad is the Islamic Republic of Iran’s redline since he has been elected by the Syrian people, and the Syrian people should finally decide about their country’s fate,” Velayati said in an interview with the state TV on Saturday night. He underscored that Iran will not leave Assad alone either in the battle ground or in politics. Velayati, meantime, stressed that “no foreign country can decide about Syria’s future”.

Police Discover, Defuse Strong Roadside Bomb in Southeastern Iran

The Iranian Law Enforcement Police, in cooperation with people, discovered and neutralized a 21-kg bomb planted in a road linking Iranshahr to Sarbaz regions in the country’s Southeastern Sistan and Balouchestan province. “After several hours of efforts and point to point search operations, the (police) operational units managed to discover a 30*30-cm green box weighing almost 21kg which contained explosives and was planted beside a rock near the road,” Commander of Sistan and Balouchestan province’s Police Force Brigadier General Hossein Rahimi said on Sunday. He added that after discovering the box, the operational and bomb disposal teams were sent to the region and defused the explosive device.

Iran has documents on Turkey buying oil from ISIL

The Secretary of the Expediency Council Mohsen Rezaei said Friday Iran holds documents that prove Ankara is buying oil from the terrorist group ISIL and is ready to present them.

Mohsen Rezaei said Friday that Iranian military advisers in Syria have filmed and photographed all routes used by ISIL operatives for smuggling oil from fields in eastern Syria to sell it to Turkey as their main client.

“Countries gripped by the scourge of terrorism must remain calm and reduce tension among themselves and use their might and capacities for rooting out ISIL,” he said.

To a question as why Turkish officials deny every claim that they are actual clients of oil sold by ISIL, Rezaei said “in case the Turkish government is unaware that Ankara is buying oil from ISIL, we are prepared to show them all the evidence they need.”

Iran ready to present proof of Turkey’s oil trade with ISIS – Tehran official

Iran has evidence of illegal oil trade between Turkey and Islamic State (IS, formerly ISIS/ISIL) – and is ready to deliver the information to Ankara and the public, a state official said. Tehran has gathered photos and video footage of oil trucks entering Turkey.

“If the government of Turkey is not informed of Daesh [derogatory term for IS] oil trade in the country, we are ready to put the information at its disposal,” Iran’s official Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) quoted Expediency Council Secretary Mohsen Rezaie as saying on Friday.

Webmaster's Commentary:

With the information piling on, and coming at Edrogan from all directions (Russia, Iran, and an opposition Turkish Parliament member, who will reveal his information next week), it may be only a matter of time before a panicked Edrogan declares martial law, and orders a complete blackout, both foreign and domestic on all news regarding this issue.

But what Edrogan doesn't seem to realize is that, with the way the net works, such moves are entirely too late; as my late grandmother would have observed, "The horse is already out of the barn!"

We are both mothers and this silence and ignorance is unlikely from a mother." Bilal Erdogan came under the spotlight after his photos with the leaders of ISIL surfaced in the world media. Bilal Erdogan has extensive ties and runs transactions with ISIL barbars. Bilal owns several maritime companies. He has allegedly signed contracts with European operating companies to carry Iraq's stolen oil to different Asian countries. The Turkish government buys Iraq's plundered oil which is being produced from the country's oil wells seized by ISIL.

FLASHBACK:The World's Foremost Terrorist - The US Government

I asked. "Why would a tough special ops soldier be crying? Loss of a fellow soldier, loss of a leg or limb, or God-forbid his genitals, or face unrecognizable anymore?"

Response: "Because of what they were sent to do, once they figured out what the real mission was."

I asked "Like what? What was enough to make the toughest US soldiers cry? Protecting the high and mighty Americans from the "terrorists"?

Response: "No, they were sent to be the terrorists and it is why they were sent that had them crying. Some of them were afraid that God would never forgive them, and, I think they might be right at times. There were some attacks on the US soldiers by people who do not want us there and some 'pay back' attacks after US forces had attacked them, but for the most part what I was being told about was the US conducting intimidation and terrorism operations against civilians. to get their oil and gas."

Can you smell the putrid aroma of bloody hypocrisy emanting from Foggy Bottom!

The main legal principles from the Nuremberg Trials were later declared general principles of international law by the United Nations: the “Nuremberg Principles.” With these principles, in 1950 the international community of nations demanded for the first time that crimes against international law should no longer go unpunished. From now on, no one should be above the law. The Nuremberg Trials and Nuremberg Principles thus laid the foundation for modern international criminal law.

Iranian Supreme Leader Sends Crucial Message to World Audience on Terrorism

People at zerohedge are questioning the authenticity of this letter.

http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2015-11-29/irans-ayatollah-pens-letter-w...

For those of a cynical persuasion, it’s difficult to ignore the similarities between Islamic State’s brand of puritanical Islam and Saudi Arabia’s propagation of Wahhabism. Put simply, indoctrinating the masses with an ultra orthodox ideal that breeds intolerance sows the seeds of extremism and on that score, Riyadh and Raqqa are really no different.

To the Youth in Western Countries,

The bitter events brought about by blind terrorism in France have once again, moved me to speak to you young people. For me, it is unfortunate that such incidents would have to create the framework for a conversation, however the truth is that if painful matters do not create the grounds for finding solutions and mutual consultation, then the damage caused will be multiplied.

snip: What then of ISIS? It as well is a blessing to American foreign policy, which is why the US has been halfhearted in its eradication. The more repulsive, as in beheadings, the more salutary from the standpoint of massive surveillance at home, the engineering of a crisis atmosphere (to the sacrifice of civil liberties), the internalization of fear, which shifts the political spectrum still further rightward, as in heightened patriotism, anti-immigrant feelings, a trivialization of politics because so much of public policy is placed off limits.

Moscow, Tehran move closer against background of intensified anti-terror strikes

Russian President Vladimir Putin concluded his first visit to Iran in eight years last week. Moscow and Tehran reaffirmed their joint stance over the Syrian crisis and cemented their bilateral cooperation in a number of arenas.

The main purpose of Putin's Iran trip was to draw Tehran over to its side in cracking down upon the Islamic State (IS). Last Tuesday, Turkey shot down a Russian Su-24 warplane near the Turkish-Syrian border. By strengthening Moscow-Tehran connections, Putin was attempting to take precautions against any potential negative effects the downing might exert on the Kremlin-led anti-terrorism coalition in the Middle East, in which Iran is included. Establishing a joint front in the region to fight against IS was one of the most urgent tasks of this visit.

Iranian Supreme Leader Sends Crucial Message to World Audience on Terrorism

TEHRAN (FNA)- Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei released an important message to the world youth on global terrorism, including the recent terrorist attacks in Paris.
Here is the full text of the letter:
In the Name of God, the Beneficent, the Merciful

To the Youth in Western Countries,
Today, there are very few people who are uninformed about the role of the United States of America in creating, nurturing and arming al-Qaeda, the Taliban and their inauspicious successors. Besides this direct support, the overt and well-known supporters of takfiri terrorism- despite having the most backward political systems- are standing arrayed as allies of the west while the most pioneering, brightest and most dynamic democrats in the region are suppressed mercilessly.
The other side of these contradictory policies is seen in supporting the state terrorism of Israel.

Who is Right in Syria? - An Analysis by Lawrence Davidson

In all of the bloodshed, population displacement and terror that has accompanied the Syrian civil war, the least-considered party has been the Syrian people and their future. Right now that vital ingredient can only be supplied by the reimposition of order by Damascus. The folks in Washington, Paris and Ankara might not like that, but they are not the ones facing a future of anarchy. And indeed, the more they stand in the way of Damascus, the more chaos they will help create.

Meet the man who funds ISIS: the son of Turkey’s President, Bilal Erdogan

The son of Turkey’s president (and thus, the father) is the silent mastermind who has been responsible for converting millions of barrels of Syrian Oil into hundreds of millions of dollars of Islamic State revenue.

Russia’s Sergey Lavrov is not one foreign minister known to mince his words.

Just earlier today, 24 hours after a Russian plane was brought down by the country whose president three years ago said “a short-term border violation can never be a pretext for an attack”, had this to say:

“We have serious doubts this was an unintended incident and believe this is a planned provocation” by Turkey.

But even that was tame compared to what Lavrov said to his Turkish counterparty Mevlut Cavusoglu earlier today during a phone call between the two (Lavrov who was supposed to travel to Turkey has since canceled such plans).

An Invisible US Hand Leading to War? Turkey’s Downing of a Russian Jet was an Act of Madness

It is all terribly dangerous and it is hard to predict where things will lead.

This outrageous shootdown of a Russian plane that was in no way posing a threat to Turkey or Turkish forces, will not end here, because Russia and President Putin cannot allow Turkey and NATO to so blatantly act against Russia and its pilots and go unpunished, particularly as it is Russia that is acting legally in Syria, while the US, Turkey and other nations backing rebel forces there are in all acting blatant violation of international law.

Unless saner heads start prevailing in Washington, this could all quickly spiral into the kind of situation in 1914, where a lot of ill-conceived treaties led to a minor incident in the Balkans turning inexorably into World War I.

Breaking: Russian Pilot Rescued by Iran’s General Soleimani

Soleimani promised them to return the Russian pilot safe and sound; a promise that was kept in the end, according to the Syrian officer.

After tracing the place of the Russian pilot using his GPS, it was revealed that the pilot was being kept in a place 6km behind the frontline of the clashes between the Syrian army and the opposition.

Six fighters of Hezbollah’s special operation unit and 18 Syrian commandos approached the frontline to carry out the operations and the Russian air force and helicopters concurrently created hellfire in the region and destroyed the terrorists’ headquarters in a way that most of the enemy forces deployed in the region fled the scene and the ground was paved for the special unit’s advance.

The Syrian officer added that every move of the special units was monitored and covered precisely by the Russian satellites in a way that the slightest moves made 100 meters away from the area of operation was reported to them and every moment of the operation was reported to a very high-raking official in the Kremlin (that he thinks was president Putin) and it was clear that he was monitoring the entire operations through satellites from Moscow.

Is Turkey Starting a Proxi-War for NATO?

It is clear, Turkey hosting the recent G20 meeting and subscribing to the east-west ‘coalition’ of fighting the ISIS / DAESH / Al Qaeda terror, was a loosely disguised farce.

Did Turkey just provoke a proxi-war on behalf of NATO against Russia? – Turkey knew very well that the Russian SU-24 fighter jet was inside Syria’s borders and that even as it may have been close to Turkey it was no threat for Turkey. Russia’s mission was clear to all the 19 nations which attended the G20 meeting some 10 days ago in Antalya, Turkey, when the entire group unanimously decided to cooperate in fighting the Islamic State (IS – or Daesh, according to its Arabic acronym).

Turkey Shoots Down More Than Just a Russian Jet

It is only a matter of time before the rhetorical shell game conducted by the terrorist sponsors comes unstuck.

Turkey’s shooting down of a Russian fighter jet this week was likely aimed at a bigger political target – to deal a blow to the proposal of a grand anti-terror coalition between the West and Russia for fighting the Islamic State extremist network in Syria.

Such a coalition might seem reasonable, even desirable, to most people. But it is profoundly unacceptable, tacitly, to Washington because it would further expose the criminal nature of the Western-sponsored regime-change operation in Syria.

Washington and its allies do not want Russia to participate in an effective military coalition that would accelerate the destruction of the mercenary terror army that the Western powers have covertly invested in. In that regard, French President Francois Hollande seems to have momentarily lost the devious plot by proposing such an alliance with Russia.

On the very week that convicted Israeli Spy Jonathan Pollard was released from prison, Senator Rand Paul introduced an amendment in the wake of the Paris terror attacks, which would prevent certain refugees from receiving public housing aide. Paul's proposal includes the list of 34 'high risk' middle-east countries, including basically all the countries on the PNAC 'New Pearl Harbor' document, and a few others. Paul's list of dangerous countries includes Syria, Iran, Russia, Iraq, Afghanistan, and of course the obligatory 'Palestinian Territories.' Guess which country is omitted from Paul's list?? Keep in mind that this is the same week that mainstream Jewish newspapers admitted that Israel had advance warnings of the Nov 13th Paris terrorist attacks, just like they did the attacks on New York on 9/11/01.

Senior Iranian Cleric: ISIL Created to Confront Islam, Muslims

Tehran’s provisional Friday Prayers Leader Ayatollah Seyed Ahmad Khatami blasted certain western countries and their regional allies for supporting the terrorist groups in Syria and Iraq, and said the Takfiri terrorist groups have been created to taint the image of Islam and promote the Islamophobia project. "The ISIL and other Takfiri groups have been created to fight Islam; these heinous phenomena were created when the Islamic awakening was underway in Muslim countries." He reiterated that the Takfiri terrorist groups, including the ISIL, have not even said a word against Israel, and even Israel accepts and treats their wounded in its hospitals... Iranian President Hassan Rouhani underlined that any discord and conflict between Muslims merely gladdens the Zionists and the criminal powers, adding that the Islamic world needs unity more than any ever.

Oil May Plunge to $20, Signalling Economic Disaster: “The Numbers Are Dreadful And Unprecedented”

Dramatic overproduction of oil has become a major tool of geopolitical conflict and a harbinger of impending economic doom.

The world is running out of storage facilities for surging supplies of oil and may soon exhaust tanker space offshore, raising the chances of a violent plunge in crude prices over coming weeks, experts have warned.

Goldman Sachs told clients that the increasing glut of oil on the global market […] could send prices plummeting to $20 a barrel, the so-called ‘cash cost’ that forces drillers to abandon production.

Hillary Clinton’s Road to War

Hillary Clinton promised us a speech on what she’d do to destroy ISIS, but what she gave us was a speech detailing how she would destroy Syria – and drag the US down the road to another unwinnable war. What she essentially proposes is that we fight a three-sided battle – against ISIS, on the one hand, and against Bashar al-Assad, Russia, and Iran on the other.

She elaborated on her “no-fly zone” scheme, saying she wanted to set it up only in the north. This means not only that the US air force will be protecting the “moderate” Syrian rebels – a coalition of US-supported head-choppers and al-Nusra, the Syrian affiliate of al-Qaeda – but also preventing Russian warplanes from flying over the huge swath of territory in the north controlled by the Islamic State – including Raqqa, their capital. So how does she intend to keep Putin out of the skies over Raqqa – by shooting down Russian planes, Chris Christie-style?

Webmaster's Commentary:

This speech has utterly no relationship to the reality to the situation on the ground in Syria, but every relationship to what her financial enablers and puppet masters want; war with Russia (and ultimately China) to prevent the ascendency of the ruble and the yuan in the economies of the world.

The late Karl Marx got a lot of things wrong, but he was absolutely bang spot-on, when he made the observation "All wars are economic."

So, Americans, if you want more wars; the reintroduction of the Draft (Charlie Rangel's bill to do this has been sitting in committee for the last two years, with the House waiting for the "right moment" to pass it); more income inequality; more offshoring/outsourcing of jobs; more erosions of our civil liberties, please, by all means, do vote for this woman as America's war-monger in chief.

Obama says Russia, Iran must choose between backing Assad and saving the Syrian state

President Barack Obama says Russia and Iran must decide whether they want to prop up Syrian President Bashar Assad or "save the Syrian state" by finding a Syrian government that can be legitimate.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Obama is still trying to act like he is in control of the situation in Syria. And as a side note, it is not up to Obama to decide whether or not a foreign government is legitimate or not. Given the US Government's numerous war crimes and violations of the Constitution, I would argue that Obama is the head of an illegitimate government!

The double-edged sword of cyber warfare

Kind of in your face aren't they!

One week after the Israeli army formally recognized cyber weapons as a fourth dimension of warfare, alongside land, air and sea, the defense minister on Wednesday sang the praises of digital weapons, saying that they can attack and conquer enemy assets without leaving a trace.

“Cyberspace enables the attack of another nation state in offensive action, even reaching victory without leaving any fingerprints, even if it is suspected,” Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon said Wednesday at the fifth annual Cyber Security Conference at Tel Aviv University, according to a conference statement. “We are already there; we are not talking about some distant future. We have experienced this in Israel’s day-to-day actions against its enemies.”

The reference to offensive action was somewhat rare and it came just two weeks after Israel was fingered as a suspect in a cyberattack against participants in the nuclear negotiations with Iran.

Flashback: Did Money Seal Israeli-Saudi Alliance?

According to a source briefed by U.S. intelligence analysts, the Saudis have given Israel at least $16 billion over the past 2 ½ years, funneling the money through a third-country Arab state and into an Israeli “development” account in Europe to help finance infrastructure inside Israel. The source first called the account “a Netanyahu slush fund,” but later refined that characterization, saying the money was used for public projects such as building settlements in the West Bank.

In other words, according to this information, the Saudis concluded that if you can’t beat the Israel Lobby, try buying it. And, if that is the case, the Saudis have found their behind-the-scenes collaboration with Israel extremely valuable. Netanyahu has played a key role in lining up the U.S. Congress to fight an international agreement to resolve a long-running dispute over Iran’s nuclear program.

Terror cell linked to Daesh busted in western Iran

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has busted a terror cell linked to the Takfiri Daesh terrorists in western Iran.

The spokesman for the IRGC in Kermanshah Province said on Tuesday that members linked to the terror group were arrested in a joint operation with forces of Iran’s Intelligence Ministry.

Colonel Mohammad Kalantari, who was speaking to the semi-official Mizan news agency, would not elaborate on further details, including in which city or town the cell was active. The westernmost Iranian province of Kermanshah neighbors Iraq, where Daesh controls some parts far from the Iranian border in the west and north of the Arab country.

Kalantari said the arrested individuals “were militarily prepared and possessed guns and bandoleers.”

It was not clear whether the cell was plotting an attack inside Iran or it was just organizing militants for terror activities in Iraq.

Understanding the Power-Contest Between Aristocracies

At the core of global power stands the conflict between the Sauds and their Sunni clergy, versus the Iranians and their Shiite clergy.

One can’t understand U.S.-Russian relations, nor much else of what is happening in the world, without knowing the relevant historical background; and the origins and nature of the Sunni war against Shiia are arguably the most essential part of that. Just how the United States came to back the Sunnis, and how Russia came to back the Shiites, in this war, will be discussed in subsequent articles.

Leader's Aide: Paris Punished for France's Support for Terrorist Groups

Iranian Supreme Leader's Deputy Chief of Office for International Affairs Ayatollah Mohsen Qomi condemned the Friday night's terrorist attacks in Paris, but meantime, said the tragedy was a backfiring of the West's support for terrorist groups. "The West was punished by the incident in France for its unreasonable supports for these terrorist groups and it is clear that we are not pleased with the killing of innocent people but these conditions are the result of the West-created plights in the Middle-East," Ayatollah Qomi said in Tehran on Tuesday. He said if any opposition group in different countries is equipped with weapons, then the entire world will become entangled in chaos and terrorism.

French Colonial Dreams Linger On In Syria

RIVALRY AND OPPOSITION FROM THE START
When British troops under Marshal Allenby entered Damascus in 1918 accompanied by troops of the Arab Revolt led by Sharif Faisal of the Hussein of Mecca dynasty, French-British rivalry in the Middle East was already running at extreme highs. They were in no way resolved by the San Remo conference of April 1920 where the post-World War Allied Supreme Council met. It was attended by the four main non-US Allied Powers of World War I, represented by the prime ministers of Britain, France, Italy and by Japan's Ambassador K. Matsui.

This was the most important “turf war meeting” to divide up Class "A" League of Nations mandates for administering the former Ottoman-ruled lands of the Middle East. US participation was observer-only due to American deciders already setting apart the future Saudi Arabia as the USA's exclusive national zone of influence.

FLASHBACK - Israel planning false flag attack in US to create war with Iran: Ex-US Senate candidate

Israel is preparing to carry out a false flag operation in the United States and will blame it on Iran as a strategy to entangle Washington in a war with Tehran, a former US Senate candidate says.

“I have maintained from the beginning that Israel is planning and will in some point attempt a false flag incident probably within the continental United States that will be facilitated by Israeli intelligence and falsely blamed on Iran,” said Mark Dankof, who is also a broadcaster and pastor in San Antonio, Texas.

Myanmar’s Rohingya Could Be The World’s Next Major Refugee Crisis

Six months ago, the plight of the Myanmar's Rohingya minority briefly garnered international attention when they were among thousands of starving refugees and migrants abandoned in the Andaman Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Human rights groups now say a new refugee crisis looms, as members of the Rohingya minority are excluded from the dramatic reforms taking place in their country. Amnesty International recently warned that thousands more people could set sail in the coming months, risking a repeat of the May crisis.

Most of the Rohingya, who number around 1 million in Myanmar, were barred from voting in the election. They are the largest group of stateless people in the world, having been denied citizenship in Myanmar under a 1982 law, and are subject to numerous legal restrictions, including requiring permission to travel, marry or have more than two children in some areas.

Webmaster's Commentary:

It is ironic in the extreme that much of the persecution of the Rohingya people comes from highly nationalistic Buddhists.

Were Buddha to come back today, and look at the carnage and subjugation they have created, I think he would be ashamed of them, for this behaviour.

Iran doubts US goals in Syria talks

In an interview with the Islamic Republic News Agency Nov. 12, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, deputy foreign minister for Arab and African affairs, said Iran is currently reviewing whether it will attend the Vienna II talks on Syria scheduled for Nov. 14.

Asked why Iran had not yet made a decision on its participation, Abdollahian said, “Some of the players, such as the Americans, in the last week have taken actions that look like they are pushing forward their own ideas and also consulting specific countries.” He added, “If this is accurate, and it becomes clear to us, … then certainly we will [reconsider] our participation in Vienna II.” Abdollahian did not go into detail about the alleged US actions.
