'It's RIPPED the EU apart!' Moment Merkel is attacked by her own ministers on Greece debt

The Social Democrat Thomas Oppermann, 63, has launched an attack on the German Chancellor saying that her policy regarding the bailout money for Greece has divided Europe.

Speaking in the Bundestag, he said: "The Chancellor rightly honoured [former Chancellor] Helmut Kohl. But not a cent for Greece - Mrs Merkel, that would never have been Helmut Kohl's motto, he would never have allowed the Greek crisis to push the European Union apart."

Macron's Donbass peace plan and Assad no longer the 'bad guy'

Western capitals are reshaping their agenda on Syria. Recent statements by prominent politicians and top brass show that Syrian President Bashar Assad is currently off the radar as the main villain, Nezavisimaya Gazeta writes. Ryan Dillon, a spokesman for the US-led coalition, said Washington has nothing against Damascus, if it puts up an efficient and coordinated fight against the Islamic State (terror group, outlawed in Russia).

Intel report: Kremlin sees US urging regime change in Russia

Kremlin leaders are convinced America is intent on regime change in Russia, a fear that is feeding rising tension and military competition between the former Cold War foes, the Pentagon’s intelligence arm has assessed.

The unclassified report by the Defense Intelligence Agency, which will be publicly released later Wednesday, portrays Russia as increasingly wary of the United States. It cites Moscow’s “deep and abiding distrust of U.S. efforts to promote democracy around the world and what it perceives as a U.S. campaign to impose a single set of global values.”

Webmaster's Commentary:

Don't you just love that phrase, "promote democracy around the world!"

The fact is that in all the US interventions, democracy has never happened. It's always a puppet ruler acting as a dictator, such as Pinochet, the Shah, Poroshenko, etc. There may be sham elections to have a facade of democracy, but it is never real.

Slate: Women Won’t Be Equal Until They Murder and Rape More People, LGBT Conservatives are ‘Villains’

Slate’s Christina Cauterucci claimed women won’t be equal until they murder more people before branding LGBT conservatives “queer villains” in an article Wednesday.

“These men are more than just bad actors on the national stage: They seek influence and use it for evil means, then show no remorse,” wrote Cauterucci about gay conservatives in her article, Queer Villains Remind Us That Gay Does Not Always Equal Good. “They are comic book–level villains. And they also happen to be two of the most visible gay men in America.”

Cauterucci then claimed in her article that women won’t be equal until they start murdering and raping more people.

Mattis: Syria Fight Will Only Get More Complicated After Raqqa Is Captured

While US officials have for months been presenting the invasion of Raqqa as the end-all, be-all battle against ISIS, they’ve also been preparing the public for the idea of attacking the “next ISIS capital,” and so on. Secretary of Defense James Mattis was even more direct, predicting that the situation would be even more complex after the fall of Raqqa.

“You have to play this thing very carefully,” Mattis insisted, saying it would become harder and harder to keep the various factions fighting against ISIS from getting into “incidents” against one another, while talking of continued support for the Kurdish YPG.

The “incidents” in question have mostly been US warplanes attacking Shi’ite militias, and shooting down the occasional warplane or drone aligned with the Syrian government. Though the US has claimed they “welcome” Syrian offensives against ISIS, they’ve continued to attack them every time they get close.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Sec Def Mattis, a word, please: Russia's Sergei Ryabkovhas warned that any further US incursion military into the sovereign nation of Syria will have ...consequences.

Russia warns US its fighter jets are now potential target in Syria

I would like to politely point out that Russia has been invited by the Syrian government and military to get rid of the jihadists; military from the Unhinged, Surveilled State of America have not been invited to do so.

What the US government has done here, no matter the cloddishly clumsy spin about "fighting ISIS", has been to invade a sovereign country on a horrifically flimsy pretext, in order to attempt regime change in Damascus.

And yesterday, the US Ambassador to the UN made the following, breathtaking statement at the UN:

US envoy Nikki Haley: No place for Assad in post-ISIS Syria

Sir, what can that statement possibly mean except as a neon-orange, brightly blinking light, telegraphing that the US government is planning to create regime change in Damascus, coming close on the heels of ousting ISIS in Raqqa?!?

IS a war with Russia over Syria really worth it, in the larger scheme of things?!?

Cyber attack hits property arm of French bank BNP Paribas

A global cyber attack has hit the property arm of France's biggest bank BNP Paribas (BNPP.PA), one of the largest financial institutions known to be affected by an extortion campaign that started in Russia and Ukraine before spreading.

The worldwide attack has disrupted computers at Russia's biggest oil company, Ukrainian banks and multinational firms with a virus similar to the ransomware that infected more than 300,000 computers last month.

The attack hit BNP's Real Estate subsidiary, a BNP Paribas spokeswoman told Reuters, after a person familiar with the matter had said that some staff computers were blocked on Tuesday due to the incident.

"The necessary measures have been taken to rapidly contain the attack," she said.

Facebook Censorship Removing 66,000 Posts Per Week (Video)

How do you censor free speech in America? Simple, just rebrand it as hate speech! This is a tactic the left has been using with great success recently, from college campuses to YouTube. Anyone who questions this will be met with the same old refrain “hate speech is not protected speech” and “the First Amendment only covers government censorship”. And now Facebook has just upped its censorship game.

In the following video, Today’s Yellow Snow (formerly Right Wing News) looks at a report that Facebook has been deleting about 66,000 posts a week. Of course, Facebook notes that while “it can feel like censorship”, they are only cracking down on hate speech. Sound familiar? Wonder how much of the ‘hate speech’ that Facebook is deleting is simply factual stuff that ‘triggers’ sensitive snowflakes.

Resveratrol compound in grapes found to kill cancer stem cells

The answer to preventing colon cancer could be literally dangling in front of you. That is, if you’re in a vineyard. Scientists have recently discovered that grapes could hold the answer to killing colon cancer stem cells.

Researchers from the Penn State Hershey Cancer Institute have found a potential cure for colon cancer. They discovered that the compounds found in grapes — resveratrol — could be effective in treating colon cancer, according to Jairam K.P. Vanamala, associate professor of food sciences at Penn State. “The combination of resveratrol and grape seed extract is very effective at killing colon cancer cells. And what we’re learning is that combination of these compounds is not toxic to healthy cells.”

Obama accidentally exposes Russia HOAX: “No serious person” believes the Russians could “rig America’s elections”

In a now-infamous talk dubbed the “stop whining” speech, Obama mocked Donald Trump for suggesting that the election was being rigged in favor of Hillary Clinton. In response, Obama told Trump that rigging the presidential election in America was impossible and that Trump should “stop whining” and “go try to make his case to get votes.”

That’s exactly what Donald Trump did, of course. He made his case to the voters, and they elected him President. That’s when Obama, Clinton and the entire Left-wing fake news machine reversed the script and dredged up their baseless, evidence-free assertions that Trump had somehow colluded with the Russians to “steal the election.”

The cybersecurity firm has already insisted on having “no ties to any government,” according to a statement issued in May.

Exclusive: Seymour Hersh Dishes on New Exposé Upending the Official Story About Trump and Syrian Chemical Attacks

This weekend, Hersh reported that the alleged chemical attack in Idlib, Syria, this March was not perpetrated by the Syrian military, as the Trump administration has claimed. Relying on a high-level adviser to the CIA and the Defense Intelligence Agency as his source, Hersh punched holes in the official narrative of the chemical attack, reporting that the Syrian bombing had actually targeted a high-level jihadi meeting with conventional munitions and warned the U.S. government of the strike beforehand, using a deconfliction channel. The strike hit a facility that may have contained chemicals such as chlorine and fertilizer that would have produced a cloud as well as neurological symptoms in victims that could be mistaken for sarin.

Demand for Russian Warships Skyrockets Amid Syria Campaign

International demand for Russian warships has been picking up since the start of Russia’s military operation in Syria, President Putin’s adviser on military-technical cooperation with foreign countries, Vladimir Kozhin, told reporters on Monday.

“Everyone sees the great job our ships are doing there. Our ships are in high demand, especially frigates and corvettes,” Kozhin said, when asked how the impact Russia’s operation in Syria has had on the export of Russian naval ships.

“We have also seen an uptick in foreign demand for our high-speed boats, coastal defense systems and small boats equipped with drones,” Vladimir Kozhin added.

"The Russian Navy's Admiral Essen, Admiral Grigorovich frigates and Krasnodar submarine launched six Kalibr cruise missiles from the eastern part of the Mediterranean Sea on Daesh terrorist group targets in Syria," the ministry said in a statement.

The statement noted that the Krasnodat submarine carried out a submerged launch of the missiles.

I can certainly understand; these ships and weapons actually do what they are supposed to do, unlike the US military's F-35, or interceptor missile, which at the moment, are both epic fails.

Nato warns cyber attacks 'could trigger Article 5' as world reels from Ukraine hack

A cyber attack against any member state would trigger c - Nato's mutual defence clause - the alliance has warned after a massive computer hack paralysed government ministries and dozens of businesses in Ukraine before spreading around the world.

The latest global cyber attack is believed to have been designed to cause chaos rather than extort money. Ukrainian officials have pointed at Russia, which is fighting an undeclared war with Ukraine in the east of the country and has been blamed for previous cyber attacks on Kiev.

Jens Stoltenberg, the Nato secretary general, said alliance members agreed last year that a cyber attack could trigger Article 5 of the north Atlantic treaty in the same way as a conventional military assault and promised more help to Ukraine to bolster its own cyber defences.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Secretary General Stoltenberg, a word, please: I would strongly suggest that you actually find the offending national actor which put this virus into play, rather than flippantly blaming Russia for it, as NATO seems to do for everything else these days, as a prelude to your much-lusted-after war against it.

U.S. MILITARY OFFICIALS: THERE WAS NO CHEMICAL WEAPONS ATTACK IN SYRIA … TRUMP BOMBED SYRIA DESPITE ADVICE FROM MILITARY

A top U.S. missile and chemical weapons expert has documented for months that the Syrian government did not carry out a chemical weapons attack against civilians, and that contrary claims by the Trump White House, French intelligence services, the New York Times, CNN and other “mainstream” sources are wrong … and worthless propaganda.

Former top military and intelligence officials – including many who warned against the faulty Iraq intelligence in advance of the Iraq war – have long said that the claims that Assad carried out the chemical weapons attacks was bunkum.

TOP CANADIAN COURT PERMITS WORLDWIDE INTERNET CENSORSHIP

A country has the right to prevent the world’s Internet users from accessing information, Canada’s highest court ruled on Wednesday.
In a decision that has troubling implications for free expression online, the Supreme Court of Canada upheld a company’s effort to force Google to de-list entire domains and websites from its search index, effectively making them invisible to everyone using Google’s search engine

The case, Google v. Equustek, began when British Columbia-based Equustek Solutions accused Morgan Jack and others, known as the Datalink defendants, of selling counterfeit Equustek routers online. It claimed California-based Google facilitated access to the defendants’ sites. The defendants never appeared in court to challenge the claim, allowing default judgment against them, which meant Equustek effectively won without the court ever considering whether the claim was valid.

Paris ‘No Go Zones’ Where Migrants Terrorize Women Threaten its 2024 Olympics Bid

Paris’s aspiration to stage the Olympic Games in 2024 is under threat partly because of so-called ‘no go zones’ in the city where immigrants from Asia and Africa pester and abuse women.

Areas like Place de la Chapelle, formerly a quiet square behind the Gare du Nord train station, have been transformed in a short space of time into havens for immigrant rough sleepers and drug dealers which are said to be increasingly intimidating for many people, especially women.

According go the Sunday Times of London, since 2015 a huge influx of immigrants – mostly single men – have begun sleeping in parks, on the streets and under the arches of the Metro bridges in northeast Paris.

They have been accused of verbally abusing women in the streets, routinely shouting “Bitch” and “Dirty whore”. Street robbery and drug taking have also become rife.

Webmaster's Commentary:

Were I on the Olympics Organising Committee, Paris would not even be in the running for hosting the Olympics, because of these ongoing problems.

VATICAN'S FINANCE CHIEF, CARDINAL PELL, CHARGED WITH MULTIPLE SEX ASSAULTS

The Vatican's finance chief, Australia's highest ranking Roman Catholic and one of Pope Francis' most senior advisors, Cardinal George Pell, has been charged with multiple sex offenses by Australian police in the latest blow to the Vatican’s attempts to put decades of child sex abuse scandals behind it.

"Cardinal Pell is facing multiple charges in respect of historic sexual offenses," Victoria state police deputy commissioner Shane Patton said, following a police investigation that followed the same processes and procedures applied in other sex abuse cases.

Cardinal Pell has been summoned to appear in court in Melbourne on July 18 to face the charges, which relate to complaints made by more than one person, according to the FT. To attend the hearing the 76-year-old would have to return to Australia from Rome, where he has been tasked by the Pope with cleaning up the Vatican’s finances.

Webmaster's Commentary:

There is an institutional mental illness in the Catholic Church, which leads to this kind of sick behaviour in its priests, who somehow believe that the cover of their robes gives them carte blanche to indulge in this without repercussions.

Thank heaven that in the 21st century, this is no longer the case.

"IT IS THE PRESSTITUTES, NOT RUSSIA, WHO INTERFERED IN THE US PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION"

And, of course, the American people, the European peoples, and the US and European governments are being conditioned by the “Russia did it” storyline to distrust Russia and to accept whatever dangerous and irresponsible policy toward Russia that Washington comes up with next.

Is the anti-Russian propaganda driven by ratings as Bonifield is reported to claim, or are ratings the neoconservatives and military/security complex’s cover for media disinformation that increases tensions between the superpowers and prepares the ground for nuclear war?

RT acknowledges that the entire story could be just another piece of false news, which is all that the Western media is known for.
