Now, we have learned a painful lesson here in the United States that our government, and especially our intelligence services do many things that the people are not aware of and would not approve of. The same appears to be the case in Israel, where the Mossad has engaged in tactics most Israelis would probably find quite objectionable, indeed almost Hitlerian, without their knowledge and certainly without their support.
According to Victor Ostrovsky, a defector from Israel's secret service, Mossad, Israel decided to mount a false flag operation designed to further discredit Libya, and provoke the US to attack an Arab nation. A transmitter loaded with pre-recorded messages was planted in Tripoli, Libya, by a Mossad team.
The `Trojan Horse' beamed out fake messages about Libyan-authorized bombings and planned attacks that were immediately intercepted by US electronic monitoring. Convinced by this disinformation that Libya was behind the 1986 bombing of a Berlin disco in which a US soldier died, President Ronald Reagan ordered massive air attacks on Libya, including an obvious- and illegal (under US law) attempt to assassinate Qadaffi himself. Some 100 Libyan civilians were killed, including Qadaffi's two year old daughter.
Mr. Ostrovsky says the Israelis had advance notice of the suicide attack that killed 241 Marines in Beirut in October 1983 but WITHHELD the information from the United States, allowing the Marines to be killed, in the hope that the attack would poison American Arab relations.
The motto of the Mossad is, "By way of deception, thou shalt do war."

In this news story from Ha'Aretz, Israel complains to the United States over the treatment of 5 Israelis arrested for cheering during the attacks on the World Trade Towers.
"The Foreign Ministry said in response that it had been informed by the consulate in New York that the FBI had arrested the five for "puzzling behavior." They are said to have had been caught video taping the disaster and shouting in what was interpreted as cries of joy and mockery."
In this article from Israel's newspaper Ha'aretz, it is announced that the US will start dropping bombs on Palestine after it is done with Afghanistan. Is America's military a mere puppet to a foreign government's strings?
Remember the big fuss made in the media about some very suspicious stock trades made just prior to the attacks on the World Trade Towers, and how "someone" had made millions of dollars short selling airline stocks? Remember how the investigation was closing in on the culprits? Remember how suddenly that story just sort of "went away"?
Well, that's because the trail for the strange stock trading of United Airlines didn't lead to the designated villain, ex(?) CIA asset Osama Bin Laden but to the stock brokerage run by the man who is now the number three Executive Director of the CIA.
