Former White House Press Spokesman Scott McClellan has come out with revelations which basically confirm that the US Government lied this nation into a
war of conquest against another nation which had in fact neither attacked us, or threatened us.
Now, people of good conscience, people of honor, would look at the admissions of a man who was inside the Bush administration as reason to
re-evaluate the war and the reasons for going to war.
But not John McCain.
As can be seen above, John McCain, instead of making a choice to re-examine the path to war, merely attempts to justify his voting for that war
(something his presumptive rival for the Whte House did not do) with the lame excuse that "everybody" thought Saddam had nuclear weapons of mass destruction.
And finally, we have this video from 2001, in which Colin Powell and Condi Rice state emphatically that Saddam Hussein as been disarmed.
So, one of two cases applies.
1. John McCain is knowingly lying in his claim that "Every" intelligence agency thought that Saddam had nuclear weapons of mass destruction, or ...
2. John McCain is an idiot who despite having inside access to government information and a taxpayer-funded staff missed all of the obvious signs of deception that bloggers operating on spare change found under seat cushions all spotted and reported on.
In either case, McCain is unfit to be a Senator, let alone President.
